Annabeth's POV

We got back to New York today, and today we're going shopping for Brook's room.

"Well, Brook welcome to your other home!" Percy announces.

We lead her up to her room, it's on the top floor of our brownstone. It's a spacious room with a walk in closet, small balcony, bathroom and window bench. Its plain with no furniture and no color therefore we have to go shopping.

"Alright got all the measurements," Percy says. "Let's go."

(At Home Depot)

"Alright what color do you want?" Percy asks. Brook and I both look at him questioningly. Since when does he call her Bea, he just shrugs. Brook walks around looking at all the colors.

"This one please." She says as she points to a deep aqua marine color.

"Alright." I say. I get the card and hand it to the lady.

Next we head to the carpet section. We pick out a lavender shaggy carpet.

(At Ikea)

"I hate this place." Percy mutters.

"Why?" Brook asks.

"It reminds me of the Labyrinth. Except instead of monsters there are stupid people, which is worse!"

"Your an idiot."

At Ikea we pick out:

Grey desk bed

Black steel clock with birds on it

Grey steel tree shaped lamp

White egg chair with a blue cushion

Grey cushions for window bench

(At Target)

We get:

Purple bedspread with intricate black patterns

Shaggy black bean bag

black trunk with white writing that says " A friend is one that know you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow." on the front and on top it says " Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving."

(At home)

"Lets start!" Percy says. We each grab a bucket of paint and paint brushes and start to paint. By the time we are done we are all covered in paint, lets just say Percy thought it would be a good idea to have a paint fight. We staple down the carpet and the bench cushion. We build the bed and make the bed. We move everything else in and we are do by 3.

"Hey how about we go out to lunch?" I say.

"Yeah. How about some pizza."

After our very late lunch we go to Bath&Body Works to get soap.

"Hey Brook, everyone who signed up for school is coming tomorrow. Since you'll be living in the dorms most of the time I wanted to know if you would like to pick out your room now so you don't have to fight for one tomorrow." Percy says. I think that was the smartest thing he has said all day.

"Ok."

We drive to the warehouse that is to be the new dorms. I helped design it of course. It has a magical barrier so monsters can't get in. It has huge front and back yard. A giant tree house, a small lake, and a pool. We go inside and I give Brook the tour. We start in the basement. It has a weapons room and a place for all the chariots. The main level has an indoor pool, a movie theater, kitchen, a giant dining room, and a living room. The second floor has a game room, a training room, a gym and an infirmary. The next 7 floors are all dorms. We look at the dorms but none of them are what Brook is looking for. We go to the 10th and top floor. We get to the sixth room and Brook falls in love.

"This is the one I want." She says. The room is a large room with a giant walk in closet, bathroom, loft, and balcony.

"Ok so write your name on the whiteboard on the door." I say.

"By the way who's my roommate?"

"Kaitlyn." Percy answers. Brook writes Kait and Brook on the board and we leave. Tomorrow is going to be one crazy day.
