Chapter 14- Fairy Tail

"WAIT!"

"What is it, Luce?"

"Are you sure, it's safe to ride that thing?"

"Huh, the Air Rail? Of course! No biggie"

"But! But! It's so small and it's just flying on its own! Where's the FREAKING pilot!"

"I'm gonna catch you when you fall Lushhyy- nyan"

"That's not really the point here!"

"…"

"I'm not gonna ride that thing!

"But-"

"NO!"

"Luce, it's safe"

"It's dangerous!"

"…"

"Yosh!"

"At the count of three, Happy"

"Wha-"

"Hey!"

"Kyaaaaaa!"

"Alright! Let's go!"

"Aye"

"LET ME OFF THIS THING!"

"Sheesh, I really can't believe you!" pouted Lucy while she walks on the busy streets of Crocus.

"What," Natsu smirked mischievously.

"You shoved me and not only that you touched my butt!" she shrieked at him earning a snicker from both Natsu and Happy.

"Hey! It was an accident!" he argued back at her smiling.

Lucy stamped ahead of him, grunting in response. Stupid Natsu, he's such a pervert.

"Come on Luce… Sorry, okay?" he ran after her with Happy running behind behaving like a cat, much to his displeasure. Lucy stopped and looked at him, her irritation slowly dissipating. "Fine" she said.

"Yosh! Where do you want to go?" he grinned excitingly as he grabbed her left hand. So warm, Lucy thought blushing. She immediately bowed her head to hide her flushed cheeks but she didn't withdraw of her hand instead she grasped his hand in return. "Umm, where do you like to-" she stammered but instantly got interrupted by Happy who jumped on her shoulders.

"What do you mean, where do you want to go? Aren't we supposed to go straight to the castle? Nyan" Happy slowly whispered on Lucy's shoulder. Lucy, snapping from her thoughts, withdrew her hand from Natsu's hold, failing to notice Natsu's pout.

"It's not our fault you know, Happy" Natsu crossed his arms looking at the side. "Lucy here is so slow… Erza, Levy and Stripper left us already."

"Hey! It's my first time riding that thing!" Lucy shrieked. "Anyway, I don't want them to wait for us." She glanced away looking flustered.

"Oh come on, Luce! I'm really hungry!" Natsu plead while giving Lucy a puppy-eyed.

"Please"

"Come on…"

"Luccccyyyyy"

"Fine! Sheesh" she grunted, earning a happy laughed from Natsu and a disapproving sighed from Happy. "This will be so fun! I'm ready to go!" pumped Natsu.

"Aye" Happy sweat-dropped.

"Yeah, I'm all fired up" Lucy whispered clutching Igneel's scarf on her neck.

"That's right! I'm all fired up too" Natsu grinned hearing the catch-phrase. He grabbed Lucy's hand once again and started running down the street with Happy holding on to dear life on Lucy's shoulder. They laughed and shrieked earning weird looks from people on the streets. "It feels like, I'd done this before Luce!" Natsu grinned happily. Still running he turned his head to look at the blond mage behind him. "No, it felt like we'd done this before" he panted, sweat running down his forehead.

Lucy smiled softly, tightening her hold on his hands, "Would you believe me if I said that, we'd done this a thousand times."

"Weird thing is. Yes, I believe you Luce" he stopped on his track turning his whole body to look at her. "I believe everything you say. No matter how weird it is" he laughed. "Weirdo"

"Hey!" Lucy blushed angrily.

"They llliiiikkeee eeeach otthherrr" Happy rolled out his tongue, snickering on Lucy's shoulder.

"Shut it cat" Lucy blushed wildly, clamping her hand on Happy's mouth.

"Maybe I do" Natsu interrupted. "We'll never know" he smiled looking the building behind them, failing to notice Lucy's distraught look.

"Nyan What's wrong Lucy, Nyan" Happy asked softly on her ears.

"It's nothing Happy" Lucy answered back her eyes filled with sorrow. She scratched Happy's head "Remember cats don't speak okay?" she smiled softly. "Aye, I mean- Nyan".

"Yosh! This is the place" Natsu excitedly yell looking at a small restaurant at front. "You're gonna love the food here Luce" he grinned.

After loudly entering the place, pleading the manager that Happy is house-trained (much Happy's displeasure) and almost ordering all the food in the menu (much to Lucy's displeasure). They've finally settled in, talking and laughing on what goes on through their lives, forgetting the time and just enjoying each other's company.

As time went by, Lucy is doing one thing she swore to herself she will never do- making the present Natsu fall into her. She failed to notice that this Natsu is not as dense as the past, and he is slowly falling for her as she is falling for him all over again.

"Where the hell have you two been!" yelled a very very angry Erza.

"Umm, we've been stuffing our face off?" Natsu squeaked hiding behind Lucy's back. "Please don't kill me!"

Lucy swallowed and bowed her head "I'm sorry Erza, I should have known better, please forgive us."

Looking intently at the trio before her, she let out a large groan "Fine, I'll let you go this time Lucy" she smiled at the blond before her and gave off a wicked look at Natsu "Your punishment will be delayed this time."

"Aye- have mercy on me" Natsu shivered hugging Lucy's arm.

"Now come! The official meeting had ended minutes ago, only the Elder Makarov and Elder Yajima are left" she turned stomping her feet as she walked. Lucy followed suit leaving Natsu and Happy behind.

"How come she let you off" whispered an annoyed Natsu at Happy.

"I'm a cat-nyan" Happy flew off laughing. "Hey, not fair! Happy!"

Inside the council room, Lucy almost wants to hug the man, the father-figure, she sees before her. Standing tall with a wide smile on his face, Makarov approached the shocked blond. "Welcome my child. It's good to finally meet you" he said.

"It's nice to see you again, master" Lucy slowly said stunned letting Makarov laughed loudly. She immediately realized her mistake and bowed her head down. "I'm sorry. I mean, it's nice to meet you too, Elder."

"It's fine you can call me Master if you want. But may I ask, why Master of all the things you can call me?"

"Yeah, why not perverted old man or short thick mus-" Natsu interrupted opening the council room loudly.

"Natsu!" Erza interrupted, clearly upset. "Where's your manners!" she howled readying her sword.

"No violence please" Elder Yajima sighed as Makarov laughed dismissively. "It's fine Erza. Nice to see you too, Natsu" he said.

"Now, where are we my child" he looked down on Lucy from the Elder's table with Yajima sitting beside him.

"Er, you were the Master of our guild, Fairy Tail during my time" she sheepishly said. Makarov grinned wildly, smacking his tights with his hands. "Ain't that a shocking discovery! Tell me, am I a great mage back then?" he prodded.

Lucy nodded, "You were one of the 10 wizard saints. One of the strongest mages in all of Fiore" she said earning ohhhsss and aahhhss from the remaining audience mainly Freed, Levy, Erza, Gray, Natsu and Happy.

Makarov laughed loudly patting Yajima's shoulder "Hear that! Even before I'm bad-ass". Yajima snickered at the term.

Turning his head from Makarov to Lucy, Yajima asked "They said you're a mage. Care to demonstrate?" Lucy nodded and took out two keys from her key ring. Tying past Natsu's muffler to her waist, she chanted "Opening the door to the celestial realm, I call forth the Lion, Leo! And the Ram, Aries"

With a burst of golden light and a sweep of fresh air, two figures emerged from the golden cloud. "Hello princess" Loke said kissing Lucy's hand.

"Oi! Get your hands off he-!" a sudden shout at the background followed by a choking sound.

"Lucy-san! We miss you!" Aries hugged Lucy tightly, totally being out of character. She smiled and said "I'm sorry" shying away from Lucy's hold.

"I miss you too Aries" Lucy replied back, seeing her tearful face. "So care to show what you two can do?" she asked both of her friends which smiled in reply.

"Another dimension called Edolas?" Makarov inquired.

"Yes, if it's true that Acnologia is waking up. Then the only way to stop it using magic, is like how the people of Edolas work" Lucy said. "I don't know how this timeline work or the machines you're all using but if you want to use magic, then the only way to stop the dragon Acnolgia is replicate all the magic tools on Edolas" she added, determination can be seen in her chocolate eyes. Makarov nodded trying to assess Lucy's story.

"Question" Freed asked waving his hand through the air. "How can we possibly do this? Magic at this time don't exist anymore. How can we make equipment and firearms with a non-existent phenomenon? And sorry Lucy-san but who on the right mind will do this, they will surely laugh at us" Freed concluded. A flood of whispers suddenly erupted throughout the room while Lucy simply looked at her feet. "Er-"

A vulgar laugh drowned the wave of murmurs; they all snapped their head at the sound emitted by the pink-headed boy. "Yosh!" he suddenly exclaimed standing up. "Have you forgotten whose son am I again?" he grinned wildly at Lucy who smiled tenderly in return. "I'll take care of the firearms, I'll ask my old man about it or else he'll have to find another son to inherit the family business" he said cheekily. "Having it produce magic, er…, I'll need your help in that Luce" he added.

"Ye-yes! We'll come out with something Lu-chan! I'll research all the things there is to know. I'll help you read all the hundreds of books we borrowed from your place. Surely a book on Edolas will be there, ne?" Levy excitedly said.

"Then I'll be researching as well" Freed smile. "I'll look up at the grand archives along with the other scholars. We'll search distant places if we have to. Of course with your permissions, Elders" he bowed down.

"Permission granted Freed, don't worry!" Yajima said.

"And from me, and all the council Elders" Macarov added.

"Then, I'll train all the soldiers for the new weaponry with the help of the people who will create it, of course. I'll make sure that everyone will be on their best" she smirked roguishly which sent shivers through everyone's spine.

"I'll help both Erza and Bubblegum head. Don't worry Lucy, we'll prepare for this" Gray smiled.

"Aye! I'm going with you Lucy wherever you go" Happy flew and hugged Lucy.

"Everyone" Lucy tearfully said "Thank you, despite that all of this was my entire fault" she whimpers sadly holding on to Happy. "It's no-" Makarov started but got disturbed by a loud voice at the door.

"Helping is a MAN!" a loud manly voice said.

"Elfie-nichan, shush."

"MAN!"

"Now, now"

The door opened and stood behind it was two white-hair beauties followed by a large man. "Sorry to for the disturbance Elders" the girl who look like the eldest said. "We were sent by royal advisers to help the Council as ordered by the king and queen." she as with a sweet smile.

"Yep we're here to give some technical assistance from the machinery and nuclear department" the younger girl with a short cut bob added excitedly.

"And brute strength!" exclaimed the Man.

"Mirajane, Lissana and Elfman! Good to see you again my children" Makarov called out. "Thank you for your assistance. Will I be expecting full help from the other departments as well?" he asked.

"Gihi, you should know better Elder Makarov" a man suddenly jumps from one of the high windows. "The whole country is mobilized by the great threat. I'll be helping as well" a huge man clad in black and full of piercing said.

"Oi Gajeel! What the hell are you doing here! Aren't you supervising the factories?" Natsu interrupted. "Idiot! Your father already knows what's happening and sent me to help you!"

"Who are you calling an idiot? Metal freak!"

"Who else, pink pants!"

"Wanna go?!"

"Sure!"

"Enough! I expect better from you two. Now sit down and behave!" Erza screamed annoyed at their antics. Unknowingly Levy is blushing wildly by the sudden appearance of the man. Stupid Lu-chan giving me ideas.

Makarov laughed, Yajima sighed, Natsu and Gajeel continued to argue silently adding Gray to their parade. Elfman continued speaking loudly bursting MAN every once in a, while Mira and Lisanna are gossiping at the side. But all of that stop when they've noticed the blond girl in the middle of the room smiling but with tears flowing out of her eyes.

"You may never know me, but those who are all standing right here with me, were all my nakamas back then, this is my family. This is Fairy Tail" she sniffed, bawling her eyes off. "Thank you, thank you so much" she cried out loud, hugging Happy further into her warmth.

The others may not know her yet, but her anguish all sent tears. "Yes my child, from now on with your permission, this will be Fairy Tail"

Hey Natsu!

You know what? I really want to have more adventures.

So thank you, for bringing me back to Fairy Tail.
