(A/N: Well, this took longer than I would have liked. Long story short, although I was trying to get on a regular updating schedule, some stud happened, and as a result I was in a position where that couldn't happen. Now that things have calmed down, I can definitely get in the swing and start updating semi-regularly again. Either way, I'd like to think this chapter was worth the wait. Ton of stuff going on, and it really sets things up for the next episode, which is a doozy. I had a fun time writing it, so hopefully you'll have a fun time reading it- enjoy!)
Light. That was the last thing DJ thought before finally escaping the confines of the cave, and collapsing to the ground. He lay there for a while, gasping for air and trying to get a handle on things. A giant spider had taken Duncan, and he had run away like a child.
DJ pulled himself up into a sitting position. He ha to do something. He couldn't just let his friend get eaten- could he? Getting to his feet, DJ took a deep breath.
"Okay," he sighed, "I need to go in there, and-"
DJ was cut off when two figures barreled into him, knocking him off his feet.
"DRAGON!" Sunny shouted, "RUN!"
DJ watched in confusion as she and Lucky ducked into the cave, leaving him alone.
"Dragon?" He frowned, "Where-"
DJ's answer came in the form of a monstrous roar. He turned, and saw the beast flying overhead; massive, and covered with spiky bronze scales and jagged spikes. DJ let out a scream, and practically flew into the cave.
Lucky and Sunny were hiding further down, trying to catch their breath.
"This... Is... Awesome!" Sunny cheered.
"Sorry doll, but I'm not sure I'd call being lizard food 'awesome'," Lucky frowned.
"Oh, don't worry, I'm sure we'll all laugh about this later," Sunny responded.
"Uh, guys?" DJ stammered, "There's... There's..."
"There's what?" Lucky asked, "Spit it out!"
"Giant spiders," DJ shivered, "in the cave- further down. They got Duncan!"
"Well ain't that a kick in the head," Lucky muttered.
"Well, what are we going to do?" Sunny asked.
"I... I don't know," DJ groaned, sinking to the floor.
"Get it together," Lucky snapped, "any of us wants out alive, we'll need to work together. Look, if we can save Duncan, the four of us can team up to try and fight off the dragon.
"Right," Sunny smiled, "good plan. Let's go do this."
"You comin, DJ?" Lucky asked.
In response, DJ slowly shook his head.
"Alright, great," Lucky muttered, "just you and me, sweetheart. Lets get it done."
Lucky and Summy turned, and began making their way through the cave.
"So, think we'll make it out of this?" lucky asked.
"Probably not," Sunny said cheerfully, "odds are all for us getting dragged off by spiders."
"Well aren't you the optimist?"
"I try."
The two continued down the cave until they began to notice web strewn all about.
"Well, I think we're here," Sunny commented, "the only question is, where's Duncan?"
The answer canes in the form of a grunting noise overhead. Lucky and Sunny looked up and saw Duncan trapped in a cocoon on the ceiling. A giant spider lurked nearby, it's beady eyes fixed on the two.
"Well, that's disgusting," Lucky frowned.
The spider let out a shriek, and launched itself at the two. Lucky side stepped and swing his dagger, cleaving trough one of the spider's legs. The creature let out a cry of pain, and turned on Lucky, spitting a glob of web at him and pinning him to the wall of the cave. As Lucky tried to cut himself free, Summy swing her weapons at the spider, managing to give it a few deep cuts.
"Got it!" Lucky exclaimed as he finally got loose.
Just as the spider reared back to strike, Lucky plunges a blade into its skull, finishing it off.
Lucky grimaced as he pulled his dagger out, which was now covere in grime.
"Yech," he muttered, trying to wipe it clean.
"Woo, that was something," Sunny grinned, "so... How do we get Duncan down?"
Lucky thought a moment.
"I'll get back to you on that," he said, "I wanna check something first."
"What? I- where are you going?" Sunny called as Lucky began to head deeper into the cave. It wasn't long before he disappeared from view altogether, and Sunny let out a sigh.

Johnny and Quinn stood across from each other, locked in a state down.
"Come on," Quinn said, "lets do this."
As Quinn launched a fireball, Johnny leapt out of the way and notched an arrow. He fired the arrow at Quinn, who didn't move neary fast enough to dodge it. The arrow flew into her left shoulder, and she let out a howl of pain. Quinn launched another fireball, which Johnny nearly dodged, just barely getting caught by the tail end of the blast. Quinn took a little too long casting the next spell, though, because an arrow flew straight into her stomach- and then another. Much to Johnny's surprise, however, she was still kicking.
"Woah, who are you, Boromir?" Veronica mused, appearing next to the two.
"Veroni- where'd you come from?" Johnny asked, taking a step back.
"Everywhere and nowhere," Veronica joked, "anyway, I wanted to announce-"
"GOSH! Why didn't you wait up for me?" Harold demanded.
"Well, maybe if you'd hurry up a little-"
While the two argued, Quinn slunk away silently, careful not to alert Johnny.
"Okay, let's stop arguing for a minute," Veronica sighed, "anyway Johnny, I just wanted to let you know there's a group of psychos inbound."
"Psychos?" Johnny frowned.
"Yeah, you know, from Borderlands?" Veronica explained.
"Gosh Veronica! You're putting the integrity of this world in jeopardy!" Harold exclaimed, "it started as a classic RPG universe, and now-"
"I'M GONNA STRANGLE YOU WITH MY MEAT BICYCLE!" A voice shouted.
"What on earth-" Johnny started.
"That'd be the psychos," Veronica said, "well, later Johnny!"
With that, Veronica disappeared.
"Hey!" Harold shouted, "Wait for-"
Harold was silenced as a hatchet flew into his skull. Johnny watched as a group of psychos approached from the distance. There were about a dozen by Johnny's count- too many to handle at once. Readying an arrow, Johnny ran into the forest, hoping to use the trees for cover. Quinn watched this from a distance, trying hard not to pass out. It would be best, she thought, to let the bandits kill Johnny hole she recovered.
"Gotta...find...help," she groaned, stumbling away.
"OVER THERE!"
Quinn turned around, and saw she had been spotted by a few of the psychos.
"Crap," she growled.
The psychos charged forward, and despite Quinn's feeble attempts to get away, she soon found herself very well acquainted with the business end of an axe.
Veronica and Harold watched in the distance as Quinn's body crumpled to the ground, and then disappeared.
"HA! See? I told you adding psychos would be a good idea!" Veronica smirked.
"Fine!" Harold scoffed, "in that case, I'm adding zombies!"
"Zombies? How cliche can you get?"
"Alright, pokemon too!" Harold snapped.
"Pfft. Fine! Then I'M adding in Fallout Deathclaws!" Veronica countered.
"Aliens!"
"GLaDOS!"
"Dark spawn!"
"Reapers!"
"The Grinning Man!"
"The nurses from Silent Hill!"
Bit by bit, the various creatures began to form an populate the world. UFO's and Reapers flew overhead, while zombies and dark spawn battles each other in the fields- only to be torn apart by Deathclaws.
"Oh god," Veronica gasped, "what have we done?"
"...should we add imperial AT-AT walkers?" Harold asked.
"...yeah, why not?"
~o.0.o~
"Finally you're back," Sunny exclaimed as Lucky strode into the room, "what did you-"
"I got what I was lookin' for," Lucky said rather cryptically, "how's the whole Duncan thing going?"
"Not well," Sunny admitted, "I have no idea how to get him-"
"HELP!" DJ shouted from the front of the cave, "COME QUICK!"
Lucky and Sunny rushed to the front of the cave, where DJ was curle up in a ball.
"What's- oh Christ!" Lucky exclaimed.
Outside the cave, the dragon that had been lurking around was being torn apart by a horde of adorable pokemon. A group of Deathclaws also moved in to make a meal out of anything they could find.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?" Lucky shouted.
"No idea, but we need a plan," Sunny gulped.
"DJ, get your shit together!" lucky ordered, "I really don't want to be ripped limb from limb, and we need all the help we can get!"
"I... I... Okay," DJ agreed, "what do you need me to do?"
"Go get Duncan loose," Lucky instructed, "we'll hold these things off as long as we can.
"G-got it," DJ nodded before running off.
"Hold them off? How are we going to do that?" Sunny asked.
"Don't worry, I've got a secret weapon," lucky smiled, pulling a mask out. Upon putting it on, he turned invisible.
"Wh- Lucky, you turned invisible!" Sunny exclaimed.
"Ring-a-ding," Lucky cheered, "I can use this to sneak behind them and pick them off one by one. I only want you to join in if absolutely necessary."
"Alright," Sunny nodded, "good luck."
Lucky managed to successful sneak into the fray, although by that point only a few creatures remained. A few slashes an stabs later, and all that remained were three Deathclaws. As soon as Lucky killed one, however, the other two immediately picke up on his presences.
"Shit," Lucky groaned as one of the Deathclaws slashed him and sent him flying.
As Lucky slammed into the side of the cave, the mask fell off, exposing him completely.
"Lucky!" Sunny shouted, rushing forward. In her haste, she was quickly dispatched by the two Deathclaws.
The two beasts then focused their attention on Lucky, who struggled to get to his feet.
"Not... Not good," he coughed.
Lucky was surprised when a sword cleaved it's way through the first Deathclaws face, and a beam of light hit the other.
"Hey, you alright?" Duncan asked, emerging from the cave with DJ.
"Oh, am I glad to see you guys," Lucky smiled.
"Hold still," DJ said, waving his staff, "there, you should be all healed up."
"Hey, thanks. So what now?"
"Well, I think we should-" Duncan began before getting disintegrated by a laser blast.
"Oh crap! Into the woods!" Lucky shouted.
The two guys quickly ran into the woods, dodging laser blasts and an assortment of predators. Once they were deep inside (and confident they were alone) they stopped to catch ther breath.
"Okay, what the hell?" Lucky panted.
"I don't know man!" DJ exclaimed, "how are we supposed to- behind you!"
Lucky spun around, and saw a figure emerging from the distance.
"Relax, only me," Johnny said, "this is gettin' weird, but I'm happy to see you two."
"Weird is kind of an understatement," Lucky said as a flaming platypus scampered past.
"Maybe. Well, listen. I know technically this challenge is every man for himself, but how's about we team up?" Johnny suggested.
"You read my mind," Lucky nodded .
"Glad to hear it. We aren't far from the exit, and then the mountain is northwest of here," Johnny explained,"so if we stick close and work together, we should make it through."
"No problem," Lucky shrugged, "listen, Johnny, you better take this- it'll turn you invisible."
Lucky handed his mask over to Johnny, who immediately put it on.
"Thanks," Johnny told him, "this'll come in handy. Now let's go."
The three began to move through the forest, doing their best to avoid enemies. Anything they did come across, Lucky or Johnny was able to put down while DJ patched them up if anything went wrong.
It wasn't long before they made it out of the press and to the bottom of the mountain.
"So, that Majora guy or whoever is at the top, right?" DJ asked.
"Reckon it looks that way," Johnny nodded.
"Then we better get going. Come in."
The three made their way up the mountain, surprise that nothing made any attempt to stop them. Eventually they came to the entrance of a cavern that was cared into the side of the mountain.
"Should... Should we go in?" DJ thought aloud.
Johnny gave a quick nod, and stepped inside.
"Looks clear," he called, "come in."
DJ ad Lucky hesitantly followed Johnny inside. DJ cast a quick glance out f the cave, and let out a gasp.
"Guys," he shouted, "look!"
A horde of monsters was slowly making it's way up the mountain, heading toward the trio.
"Awesome," Lucky sighed, "Johnny, you want to pick them off from up here while I-"
"No," DJ interrupted, "I got this. I'll hold them off."
"What?" Johnny frowned, "Are you crazy?"
"Look, I can Buy you some time," DJ sighed.
"You sure about this?" Johnny asked.
DJ thought a moment before saying, "yeah. I want to make up for being too scared to help Duncan earlier. I want to help."
"Well, good luck," Lucky said, "and thanks."
"Look, you better get going," DJ cautioned, "those guys are getting close."
"Okay. Thanks, DJ," Johnny nodded.
DJ smiled, grippe his staff, and charged off.
"Well, he's screwed, "Lucky sighed, "let's go."
The two ran through the cavern, not stopping until a blue portal opened up under Lucky's feet, sending him down into what looked like some kind of laboratory.
"lucky!" Johnny shouted, but to no avail- the portal closed a second later.
"Damn it," Johnny grumbled before continuing on his way.
Lucky, disoriented by his new surroundings, got to his feet and looked around the room.
"Where the hell am I?" He asked.
All of a sudden, a white, almost feminine looking robot dropped down from the ceiling.
"Welcome to Aperture labs," the robot said, "testing will begin shortly. You monster."
~o.0.o~
After about half an hour of running, Johnny heard a voice hoisting from behind him.
"Wait! Stop!"
Johnny turned and saw DJ, beaten and bruised, running towards him.
"DJ?" Johnny asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I... I... I managed to get away," DJ panted, "they're still out there looking for me, I think. Where's Lucky?"
"No idea. But come on, I think we're getting close to the end."
Johnny's prediction actually turned out to be accurate. The two found themselves entering a massive chamber with no ceiling, enabling a perfect view of the night sky.
"Is this it?" DJ asked, "What happens now?"
"FOOLS!" A voice echoed from above, "You dare face the might Majora?"
A lone figure levitated down from the sky, facing the two.
"YOU FOLLS HAVE SEALED UOUR FATE!" Majora shouted as Johnny notched an arrow, "YOU WILL BE RENDED LIMB FROM- OH GOD MY EYE!"
The arrow Johnny had fired launched straight into the mask's eye, and in retaliation, Majora fired a blast of energy at he and DJ, which the two barely dodge. Majora launched another wave of energy, one which they unable to dodge. Instead of hurting them, however, they were transformed into deku scrubs.
"HA!" Majora shouted, "now see how-"
An orange portal opened up on the wall, and Lucky jumped out, a portal gun in hand.
"Oh what now?" Majora demanded, "I- oh god, is that a portal gun?"
"Yep," Lucky smiled.
Lucky turned, and fired one portal directly below Majora- and then another at the moon. Majora was immediately pulled through the portal, but before anyone else could get sucked out, Lucky closed out the portal that was in the room. There was a flash of light, and Johnny and DJ were returned to their regular form.
"What... What just happened?" DJ asked.
"I'm pretty sure I just killed Majora," Lucky shrugged.
Veronica suddenly appeared in the center of te room, a wide smile on her face.
"Lucky!" She called excitedly, "you did it! You killed Majora! As a reward for today's challenge, not only do you win immunity, but you also decided who goes home tomorrow!"
"NICE! I- wait, tomorrow?"
"Yep. Because, as the ony survivors this challenge, the three of you get to spend all night at a spa with Harold and I!" Veronica announced, "How's that for a reward?"
The three guys all cheered.
"Now," Veronica smiled, "let's get the hell out of here."
~o.0.o~
The three awoke in the real world, and eagerly tore their helmets off.
"Nice work DJ," Duncan complimented, "you survived until the end!"
"Yeah," DJ smiled, "I guess I did, didn't I?"
"So? Who won immunity?" Cody asked.
"Lucky," Harold announced, "but not ony did he win immunity- he ALSO gets to choose who goes home next!"
"Woah, what?" Cody exclaimed.
"Anyone?" Gwen gasped.
"Yes," Harold nodded, "but first, he, DJ, and Johnny get to go to a spa for the night!"
"I hate you guys so muc right now," Duncan muttered.
"The boat leaves in two hours guys," Veronica said, "so pack an overnight bag and get ready to go!"
~o.0.o~
About an hour later, Lucky was waiting on the beach, his bag slung over his shoulder. DJ and Johnny hadn't yet arrived, so he stood there on his own, awkwardly pacing around- until he noticed Quinn sitting by herself farther along the beach.
"Hey," Lucky greeted, walking up to her, "what are you doing out here?"
Blushing, Quinn fumbled with the book she had been reading before quickly tossing it aside. Raising an eyebrow, Lucky glanced at the cover.
"'True Love by the Stars'? Really, Quinn?" He smirked.
"Shut up," she snapped, "it's a guilty pleasure, okay?"
Lucky continued to smirk at her.
"Okay," she sighed, "I'm one of those sappy, hopeless romantics. Happy now?"
"Nah, not really," lucky shrugged.
"Well... Tell anyone and I'll kill you."
"I won't. Not that they'd believe me anyway- you certainly don't seem the romantic type," Lucky commented, "more the 'look at me funny and I'll cut you' type."
"Fuck you. I have my reasons."
"Well, you must. Something must have made you this way."
"And what way is that?" Quinn demanded.
"Well, bitter as hell for one thing," Lucky shrugged, "I mean, the shit you've done on this show-"
"It's survival of the fittest!" She snapped, "Besides, these guys know what try signed up for, I just give them what's coming to them!"
"Oh really? Harold and David had it coming, huh?" Lucky scoffed, "No, that excuse works for Eva and Vevo, but you didn't need to go after anyone else."
"I didn't see you arguing about sending Courtney home!" Quinn exclaimed.
"Maybe I would have if she didn't try to do the same thing to me a week earlier!" Lucky countered.
"Whatever, hypocrite," Quinn muttered, "look, you don't get it. What I've gone through. You know, I used to be a lot like Veronica. Weak, geeky, and annoyingly cheerful. Unlike her though I got my ass kicked enough times to realize I needed to change. The preppy girls, the cheerleaders... Even a few of the guys slapped me around now and then."
"Shit, Quinn..."
"It was survival of the fittest," she said, shaking he read, "the strong taking out the weak. Funny, those assholes weren't so strong when I cornered them alone. One by one, I got them all back."
"Jesus Quinn, I'm sorry."
"Don't be. That's how things work,"Quinn muttered, "the stron always come out on top. And you? Right now you're the strongest one here. You can send anyone home. So who's it gonna be?"
"I... Shit, I don't know. I don't have anything against anyone here," Lucky admitted.
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Shoot."
"Why don't you eliminate Sunny?" Quinn asked.
"Excuse me?" Lucky exclaimed.
"Get rid of her," Quinn urged him, "then it can be you and me all to the finals."
"No. No way. She means too much-"
"Why, exactly?" Quinn demanded, "What's so special about her?"
"Look, we're close, okay?" Lucky admitted.
"So you say. First sign of trouble and she'll walk out, mark my words."
"She isn't like that," Lucky snapped.
"And I bet you would have said the same thing about Lance."
At this, Lucky got to his feet and tried to walk off, but Quinn grabbed his hand.
"Lucky, please. Think about it. I've always been there for you. Just this once, be there for me."
"Goodbye, Quinn."
"Just think about it!" Quinn called as Lucky stormed off.
As Lucky walked down the beach, he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Quinn, what now?" When Lucky turned, however, it was Sunny he saw.
"Oh, hey," he greeted.
"I overheard all that, you know," Sunny frowned.
"Great. Look, you know I wouldn't send you-"
"Of course you wouldn't, because you're going to send Quinn home tomorrow night."
"Damn it, please don't start this too," Lucky groaned.
"You know it's the right thing to do, she's a menace!"
"Look, I'm not having this discussion right now. I've got a boat to catch."
"Fine," Sunny said, folding her arms, "go. But you have to make the decision eventually."
"Yeah. I'll see you later."
~o.0.o~
Two hours passed, and Lucky, Johnny, DJ, Veronica and Harold were relaxing at the spa resort. Harold and DJ were getting massages, Veonica and Lucky were playing videogames, and Johnny was roaming around aimlessly, examining the various items in the room.
"So, Lucky," Veronica started, "you seem tense. What's up?"
"It's... It's nothing, kid," Lucky sighed, "just some stuff that's going on."
"You can tell me," Veronica offered, "I'm a good listener!"
"Well, alright," lucky agreed.
Lucky took a deepbreath, and recounted the evening's events to Veronica.
"So each girl wants me to eliminate the other," Lucky fjnished, "I mean, it goes without saying I can't eliminate Sunny, but I feel bad for Quinn. I don't know, maybe she deserves a second chance.
"If you say so," Veronica shrugged, "I always thought she was kind of a bitch."
"Yeah, well, apparently she wasn't always like that."
"Okay, question. Do you want to give her a second chance because you genuinely feel like it's the right thing to do, or because she's got the hot biker chick thing going?" Veronica asked.
Lucky shot her an odd look.
"What? I have a type," she huffed.
"No, it's definitely not because she has the 'hot biker chick thing' going," Lucky said, snickering a little, "I just feel bad for her."
"Okay, fair enough," Veronica nodded, "so, if Quinn doesn't get the boot, then who will?"
At this, Harold and Johnny both looked over.
"Shit," Lucky sighed, "I don't-"
"BOOM! HEADSHOT!" Veonica shouted suddenly.
Lucky glared at her.
"Oh, right. We're having a moment, sorry."
~o.0.o~
The rest of the evening blew by, and in no time at all it was the next day- the next elimination ceremony.
The eight campers gathered around the stage, except for Lucky, who stood at the podium next to Chris.
"Well, it looks like one of your hour it's is about to come to an extremely abrupt halt," Chris smirked, "so, Lucky. Who's it gonna be?"
Quinn and Sunny glared at each other.
"I choose..." Lucky began.

"Cody."
"What?" Nearly everyone exclaimed in unison.
CONFESSIONAL: Lucky
Shit. Look, someone HAD to go, okay? And this I like te forth time he's been on the show, he's had plenty of chances- I mean, what was I supposed to do?"
END CONFESSIONAL
"Lucky?" Sunny gasped, "Why would you-"
"You signed your own death warrant, ashole," Quinn hissed before storming off.
"Oh no," Gwen groaned, "Cody!"
"It's okay Gwen," Cody smiled, "you can do this. I know you can win!"
"I'll miss uou," Gwen sighed.
"I'll miss you too," Cody said before the two kissed, "good luck, Gwen. Than you for everything."
~o.0.o~
Wen everyone was walking back to the camp, Lucky ran up to Sunny.
"Hey," he greeted, "look, I know-"
"Just save it, alright?" Sunny snapped, "you messed up."
"I was trying to give her a second chance!"
"By elimination someone who isn't deserve it?" Sunny asked, "I thought you'd know better!"
"I was trying to do the right thing-"
"Do you even know what that is?" Sunny demande, "I... Wow. That came out a bit harsher than I meant."
"No, I guess you're right," Lucky muttered.
"Look, I... I'm thinking, and I'm thinking maybe you were tight. We're still friends, and maybe we should stay at that level," Sunny told him.
Lucky, although he may as well hve had the wind kicked out of him, forced a smile.
"Sure, sweetheart. Whatever you want."
"...I'm sorry, I need to get back to the cabins," she sighed, "I'll see you later."
Lucky sighed, an sat down as Sunny headed back towards the cabin.
"God damn it," he muttered.
Lucky hung his head, and closed his eyes, trying to think. The silence was soon disturbed when out of nowhere, Air Supply's "All out of Love" began to play.
Lucky turned around, and saw Chris standing there with a boom box in his hand.
"Aww," the host mocked, "somebody have his wittle heart bwoken? HA!"
Lucky glared at the host.
"Seriously though," Chris laughed, "the universe must HATE you!"
(A/N: and that concludes the two parter! We're nearing the finale, but more inportantly, we're also nearing the recap special near the end of the season. Now, since it's been a long season, I want to make the recap something special. Every contestant to have competed this season will make an appearance. There'll be contestant Q and A's, Assorted challenges, special cast encounters, Vevo gettin punched in the face- and the three finalists will be decided. Yep, three people in the finals again!
So, since te last time I asked for user feedback I recieved a great response, I figured I'd do the same here. Now, I have to stress that the following questions are HYPOTHETICAL. If they weren't, that would violate fanfiction's rules and services, an the last thing I want is to anger the might fanfiction gods. So, keeping that in mind, what two people would you guy like to see host: Josh and Noah, Geoff and Owen, Heather and Eva, or Veronica and Harold?
And since there will be a contestant Q&A, I'd like to say that if you left any questions you want answered via a review or PM, and a question that was suspiciously similar made it into the final product, well, that would be a wacky coincidence that didn't infringe the FF rules. Well, I hope you enjoyed- and I hope you're ready for the next chapter. Things really heat up! I'll try to update soon- until next time!"
