Sam
"Please!" I yelled. "You need to listen to me."
Grace turned around, her face red and teary eyed.
"No Sam, you need to listen to me. I've been with you forever. I helped you when you needed it most. I stayed through the cops, my parents, everything. Then you go and do that. My trust for you is starting to wear thin."
"I love you." Is all I was able to say.
"Go." She said turning around.
"I can't. I can't just go in the house and leave you here, outside. It's getting dark out."
"Yes, you can." She crosses her arm.
I just sighed and started to walk to the house.
"Sam." She called out. I turned around and looked at her. "I want to be a wolf."
I was shocked.
"W-what?"
"Cole is making me some medication to help me."
"Grace you can't. We tried so hard. You cannot go back." I walked over to her and took her hands.
"I need to. I loved the way I was when I was free. Only me running in the wind and being myself. Not having stress."
"You will have stress changing back from a wolf to human, every summer."
"No I said wolf, not werewolf."
"Wait, so you won't shift during summer?"
"Nope."
"But you're my summer girl."
"Stop calling me that. I've always hated that. I dealt with it, but now it's enough."
"But I wrote a song-"
"Sam stop."
I walked into the house and found Cole. I grabbed the collar of his shirt and slammed him against the wall.
"So help me if you make that medication."
Fear and embarrassment went across his face.
"She's her own person, let her do what she wants." He spat.
"She is my fiancé and she is pregnant. A wolf's pregnancy is 9 weeks. She would have already had the damn cub. She can't shift while she's pregnant, and she won't shift when she has the baby."
"If she has the baby."
Anger was growing and I couldn't hold back. My fist connected with his jaw and he fell to the floor. After I did it, I realized I shouldn't have.
