Kakashi's POV

The four of us; Naruto, Sasuke, Kagome, and myself were walking through town looking for Jiraiya. It was during that time that I took a better look at the two of my students. Now that I am taking a closer look at them I can see bruises starting to form and there were small cuts and scrapes all over them. They had finished their practice close to twenty minutes now and both of them were still dragging their feet a bit. Sasuke hasn't stayed exhausted this long even with the Chidori training. Even Naruto who bounces back fairly fast is still looking a little tired yet. Just what exactly did she do to them? I must have seriously underestimated this girl. I didn't watch her training for the simple fact I honestly didn't think they would be doing much. Well if there is a next time I am definitely going to have to be part of it. I looked over at Kagome, she didn't even look winded. Now that I think about it she hadn't even been tired when they first got back. She didn't even look like there was a single hair out of place. I honestly don't think she even broke a sweat. Thinking I remembered her say that what she had done has been a warm up.

I was brought out of my musings by Kagome "So what does this Jiraiya guy look like?"

"He is rally tall, he has long spiky white hair, he wears more traditional clothes and he wears wooden clogs. He carries with him a large scroll, it's his summoning scroll." Naruto explained and stopped explaining to make a disgusted face "We will probably find him by the woman's bath house."

"The woman's bath house? Why would he be by the woman's" Kagome asked darkly.

Naruto got a bit nervous, as did Sasuke surprisingly "Well he always says that he is doing research for his stupid books. I do call him Pervy Sage for a reason you know."

"Well I do think that I am looking forward to meeting this sensei of yours more and more Naruto. I think that he needs a bit of a reminder of what he should be focusing on."

Naruto laughed nervously while scratching the back of his head "Yeah that would be great if you could get him focused on my training, just don't hurt him too bad alright Kagome."

"Yeah yeah I got it, but if there is one thing I really can't stand its perverts. I have had enough of them while traveling with Miroku. Gah!" she let out a pent up aggression yell.

It took another ten minutes but we did finally find Jiraiya and Naruto was correct he was outside of the woman's bath. He was along one of the walls most likely looking in through a hole in the wood. A dark aura appeared around Kagome and even I took a step back. She silently stalked up to him, she was so quiet that Jiraiya didn't even get a chance to defend himself. As she was stalking towards Jiraiya she suddenly disappeared. She reappeared right next to him and she was already in motion to kick him. Her foot connected with Jiraiya's stomach and he went flying backwards. Her kick had so much force to it he went through two trees only to be stopped by a third one. Kagome's strength must rival Lady Tsunade's. Remind me not to make this small girl mad. She looks only eighteen or nineteen, but at the same time she seems to act older than that.

Jiraiya seemed to recover extremely fast, though you could tell he was in a bit of pain. When he got up to see who had caught him doing his "research" and he saw Kagome his reaction was quite comical. He was shocked, but then when he really saw Kagome his shock turned into something else. "Oh hello little lady, how are you today?" he asked with a "charming" smile on his face. It was like he had forgotten that Kagome had just kicked him through two trees.

Naruto stepped in before things got worse "Pervy Sage, I would stop now or else you might up through another tree. Kagome here doesn't like perverts."

"Would you stop calling me Pervy Sage, especially in front of ladies? Come on Naruto work with me here. It's the least you can do by making me train you. Now what do you want kid?"

Naruto got all excited "Guess what Pervy Sage, Kagome here is a summon. Kakashi sense summoned her here on accident and I wanted to introduce her to another summoner. Go on Pervy Sage summon one of your frogs and show her!"

I heard both Sasuke and Kagome huff beside me. I could tell Sasuke wanted to get back to training but was staying here because Kagome had asked him to. I wonder what she did in that short time that gained her Sasuke's respect. Kagome huffed possibly because she wanted to hurt Jiraiya more if her expression was anything to go by.

"Why should I summon somebody? Plus Naruto I've told you before they are toads, not frogs. I think you should try summoning one, god knows you need the practice." Jiraiya told him.

"Hey my last one had all four legs on it! That's gotta count for something!"

Naruto it still had a tail." Then he turned to Kagome "So Kakashi here summoned you huh? I didn't know there was such a thing as human summoning."

"Well that is because I am not a human, I am a dog." Kagome said haughtily.

"A dog? You don't look like a dog." Jiraiya seemed to think for a moment then suddenly he got super excited, just like Naruto had been earlier. He rushed right in front of Kagome, she seemed uncomfortable. "If you are a dog does that mean you have like a tail and cute little dog ears?"

Hum Jiraiya brings up a good point, she had avoided the subject before but now the subject was right in the open. I wonder what she would look like with ears and a tail. I blushed slightly under my mask.

Kagome seemed to get even more uncomfortable, but now for a different reason. "Well yeah I do, I just have them hidden right now People tend to look at me strangely when I don't have them hidden. Even at Sesshomaru's castle. The people there are not used to haves walking around."

"Halves?" Sasuke asked the question we were all thinking.

"Oh halves are half animal half human. For me it a bit different because I was born completely human but then brought into the Taisho family by blood bond and that turned me half dog." Kagome explained.

"Wow I didn't think that was possible." I said in wonder.

"Oh I'm not sure if it is anymore, it is an old tradition that got lost a long time ago." Everyone could tell she wanted to change the subject. But it made me think if it was a long time ago then how did she go through it? She turned to Naruto "Alright now before it gets too late let me see your summoning capabilities." everyone heard Jiraiya give a dark chuckle indicating that it wasn't very good.

"Oh right Okay here I go." Naruto bit his thumb then did the appropriate signs. Finally he slammed his hand down towards the ground. For a second there was nothing. Then the nothingness was replaced by a poof of smoke.

When the smoke all cleared away we were all left staring at what Naruto had summoned. What is with the summoning's today?

Naruto was excited "Hey look Pervy Sage no tail! And it's pretty big too!"

"What is it?" Sasuke asked looking at it in disgust.

I heard a slight noise and turned to see Kagome with her hand over her mouth trying to keep the laughter in.

"I am not sure what that is exactly. It sort of looks like a toad." Jiraiya said giving it a good lookover

Naruto had gotten close to it and decided he wanted to poke it apparently. Naruto snuck up behind the bewildered toad thing and poked it in the back of his head. The thing leapt about two feet in the air yelping in surprise. That must have been the last straw for Kagome because she burst out laughing. Once she started laughing it seems she couldn't stop.

The toad glared at Kagome "Why you…"
