Kagome's POV

I turned to Naruto "Alright now before it gets too late let me see your summoning capabilities." I heard Jiraiya give a dark chuckle indicating that it wasn't very good. I realized that it was getting pretty late and if I didn't go back soon Sesshomaru was going to come looking.

"Oh right Okay here I go." Naruto bit his thumb then did the appropriate signs. Finally he slammed his hand down towards the ground. For a second there was nothing. Then the nothingness was replaced by a poof of smoke.

When the smoke all cleared away we were all left staring at what Naruto had summoned. Jaken, Naruto had summoned Jaken.

Naruto was excited "Hey look Pervy Sage no tail! And it's pretty big too!"

"What is it?" Sasuke asked looking at it in disgust.

I couldn't help myself, I almost started laughing out loud. I managed to cover my mouth quickly enough that only a squeak got out. I noticed that Kakashi had turned at the noise but thankfully he didn't say anything.

"I am not sure what that is exactly. It sort of looks like a toad." Jiraiya said giving it a good look over. That made me start laughing even harder. I was starting to bend over at the effort to keep from laughing out loud.

I watched as Naruto snuck up behind Jaken, Jaken really was oblivious. Mentally I was cheering Naruto on, I couldn't wait to see what happens. When I saw what Naruto had planned it took everything I had not to start laughing. I felt tears start forming in my eyes at the effort to keep from laughing. Sasuke was looking at me weirdly now, wondering what was so funny. Then it happened. Naruto poked Jaken in the back of his head and Jaken jumped two feet in the air yelping and flailing. It was close to the same reaction he gives when he is talking bad about something he shouldn't be and then he realizes that Sesshomaru is right behind him. Honestly it was the last straw for me, I couldn't hold it in any longer. With a burst of laughter the dam was let loose. I couldn't stop, it was just so funny. I'm pretty sure that this is the first time he has been summoned as well.

My bout of laughing drew Jaken's attention to me, he started glaring at me. "Why you stupid wench. Where have you been? Lord Sesshomaru has been looking for you all day."

The moment he called me wench I stopped laughing and I glared right back at him. When he saw my glare he immediately shut up, he knew that I could be just as mean as Sesshomaru. He always just seems to forget until it's too late. To my amusement I saw everyone else that was present also glare at him when he called me wench. I smiled sadistically at him and he took an involuntary step backwards. It was in that moment that I struck, fast as lightning I rushed at him. Honestly I could have walked towards him and he still wouldn't have gotten away from me, but I wasn't in a good mood. I grabbed his staff from him and bashed him in the head with it. He wobbled for a moment before collapsing on the ground dazed. But the resilient little toad gathered his wits rather fast. He jumped up and tried taking his staff back, tried.

Smiling evilly I held it above his head. I laughed as he jumped up and down trying to get it back. "Give it back girl give it back! That is a gift from my Lord Sesshomaru. I don't want it contaminated by the likes of you!"

I tilted my head to the side "What is my name?" I asked him calmly. This was a regular thing between us, eventually he'll get tired of it and start calling me by my name.

He glared at me with all he was worth "I do not care what your name is girl. You are below me and my Lord. I hope my Lord comes to his senses soon and gets rid of you like he should of right from the beginning." Jaken ranted at me.

I sighed sadly "That is the wrong answer Jaken, you must not want this back very much. Maybe I'll hold onto it for a while. I'm sure Sessh would be okay with it, you've been getting on his nerves lately."

Jaken seemed to pale at that statement. He was about to answer but was interrupted by Naruto. Naruto grabbed onto the back of Jaken's clothes and picked him up. Then when Jaken saw the glare Naruto was giving him I almost had to start laughing again. "That is not how you should talk to a girl." Naruto growled at him. Jaken turned even whiter when he saw the glare Sasuke was giving him.

I didn't particularly like the toad but I didn't want him dead, otherwise I would have to do even more paperwork. Sighing I drove the staff into the ground far enough that it would be difficult for Jaken to pull out. Then I walked over to Naruto. "It's okay you two, he'll learn eventually. He's just a slow learner. I'm completely used to it by now. Put him down Naruto you don't know where he's been."

A disgusted look appeared on Naruto's face and he dropped Jaken from the height that he had been holding him. With a startled yelp Jaken hit the ground, then ran and hid behind my leg like he usually does with Sesshomaru. I rolled my eyes and walked towards Sasuke dragging Jaken behind me because he had chosen to hold onto my pants. When I got to Sasuke he was still glaring. I smiled a bit "Hey Sasuke you should smile more, it would make you look cuter." Then I winked at him. He just rolled his eyes at me. I had been telling him to smile more a lot during our training session.

"You said you wanted me to come along for a reason?" he got straight to the point.

I turned serious "That is right. There is something on your neck that makes me mad."

His hand when straight to the dark aura on his neck. It was a curse I knew that much. Who put it there or what it was for I wasn't sure, but I had wanted to get rid of it for the longest time. "I don't know what you mean." He tried to lie to me. Even if he hadn't moved to cover it I would've still known he was lying.

I raised an eyebrow at me "Are you trying to lie to me?" I said tilting my head to the side. "Sasuke you cannot lie to me, it is impossible." Then before he could do anything I moved behind him and put my hand on the curse mark. For a human made curse mark it was very strong. The moment my hand touched it, it reacted to my Miko powers and tried to attack me. There was something sealing it though so it couldn't fight much. I focused my power to my hand and started purifying the curse mark. It was gone in seconds. It may have been a strong curse, but I was the strongest Miko ever recorded and I've dealt with demon made curses which are about twenty times stronger.

Sasuke stumbled away from me, slightly white "What did you do?" he asked me with wide eyes.

I got right to the point "I purified it, along with putting a barrier up in you so they won't be able to put it back. If whoever did that to you tries again they will be in for a very nasty surprise."

He glared at me "You had no right…"

I interrupted him "You will thank me later when the darkness clears from you, that mark was tainting your mind and soul. I put a stop to it. Honestly that curse mark was an insult to me, I refused to be in the same area as a curse for long. Way too many bad memories with them."

I saw Jiraiya, Kakashi, and Naruto freeze up. I looked at them questioningly, what would make them do that? The next thing that happened was Jaken squeaked in fear, alright something is definitely going on. The finally thing that happened was Sasuke stared at me in fright. Okay I wasn't that frightening, I wasn't even putting any force into it. Then I realized that he wasn't looking at me, he was looking behind me.

I felt a flare of Youkai and I realized what was behind me without even having to turn around. My eyes went wide and I slowly turned around, this wasn't going to end well.
