Kagome sighed as she stared out the window, she was really bored. She glanced around sneakily but sighed again when she saw Jaken once again. Sesshomaru had assigned Jaken the job of looking after her, since she had gotten summoned that time. It had been about a month since then and she really wanted to go back. It was fun playing with all of them. Getting away from Jaken would be really easy, he wasn't exactly fast or enjoying this assignment. No the problem was making a forced transportation. Maybe Shippo would know? She knew that he would help her in an instant, but would he know how to get to the other world? Oh maybe Pakkun could help her, he had been tied to Kakashi for a while now. Her mind made up she stood up.

Jaken saw the quick movement "Where are you going wench?"

Kagome rolled her eyes "I'm only going to the bathroom Jaken, relax." With that she walked into her bathroom. The bathroom that had a window to the outside. Now normally she wouldn't dream about escaping from her bathroom window. Her room was on the highest floor of the castle, which meant she was eight floors up. Only all of these floors had really high ceilings so one floor was more like two in height. But she was going stir crazy! Drastic measures were needed. With a nod she climbed out her window and grabbed onto a very conveniently placed vine. Now if she could only get down three floors she would get to Shippo's work room. It is directly beneath her room, just a few floors down. Kagome looked down quickly and instantly regretted it. It wasn't that she was afraid of heights, or that the fall would kill her. No if she fell she would either fall into some very prickly rose bushes, the moat, or Sesshomaru would notice her and her whole plan would be wasted. Kagome took a deep calming breath and started making her way down the wall. She dug her nails into the building a bit to get a better grip. After what seemed like an eternity she was right outside Shippo's work room.

Kagome looked into the window and sighed in relief, he was alone. She knocked on the window and laughed as he jumped in surprise. Shippo made his way to his window and his mouth fell open when he saw his mother hanging from his window.

"Mama? What are you doing?" he asked as he opened his window to let her in.

Kagome fell into room and collapsed onto the ground, her limbs were shaky from her short adventure. "I'm making a jail break." She said seriously then sent an impish grin at her son "Wanna help me?"

Shippo gained his foxy grin whenever a prank was involved. "What do you need?"

Kagome nodded eagerly "We need to find Pakkun, he's tied to the person I want to visit. Oh and do you know a shortcut into the other world?"

Shippo blushed slightly "Well, maybe. Am I in trouble if I say yes?"

Kagome laughed "No not at all, that is our destination." Kagome gave a good look at her son. In the 200 years that Shippo and I had moved in with Sesshomaru, Shippo really hadn't aged that much. He only looked about ten or eleven years old. It was a testament to how slow demons actually aged. He still wore his hair the same though and his eyes were still that same eager green. He had changed what he wore multiple times through the years. As of now he was wearing what seemed like something a ninja would wear. Kagome rolled her eyes, she should have guessed he had been able to go into the other world with how his taste in clothes had changed.

It took them about then minutes but they finally found the dog they were looking for. Pakkun was on his way to make a delivery. Ah too bad for that delivery, it would be a bit late. Kagome and Shippo snuck up behind Pakkun and snatched him up. There was a brief yelp of surprise, then silence. A few minutes later Jaken could be heard throughout the castle yelling for Kagome. Kagome's and Shippo's silent snickers were brief before they snuck out of the castle completely, Pakkun being dragged along against his will.
