At first there was nothing but darkness. Not anything can be seen here. Until, we hear a loud, deep, but normal steady heartbeat. Along with the heartbeat, there were some gurgling sounds of some animal. As we now start to see what was going on, we are now looking at a scaly hide of a reptile, curled up in a ball inside of something.

As we look closer, we now come to the conclusion that we are looking inside an egg, with a baby reptile inside, bound to hatch at any moment. There was sunlight outside the egg, and we see silhouettes of dinosaurs of what appear to be Gallimimuses and Iguanodons. The baby dinosaur continues to shuffle about and the heartbeat continues to beat. Then, we hear a female voice speak.

"Some things start out big, and some things start out small, very small" narrated the voice. Then we find ourselves looking at the closed eye of a yet to be born baby dinosaur. Then its eyes opened and we stare into its big pupils as it lets out a coo. "But sometimes the smallest thing… can make the biggest changes of all," continued the voice. Then finally, we zoom out of the egg and outside of it. As we now get a look at the entire nest, where the egg lies, we see our adventure's title...

Dinosaur

After which, we now get the look of the entire nest, we see a female Iguanodon's head coming into view. She nudges the same egg softly that lies in the middle, while the other eggs lie on the outline of the nest in an incomplete circle.

She pulled her head back and looked at the other dinosaurs in the area, the mothers tending to their eggs. The female Iguanodon reared up on her hind legs for a moment and looked around once again, sniffing the air.

She looked towards the sun as it rose over the trees, and a flock of avian birds flew off in the direction of the sunrise. It was the Early Cretaceous period. The beginning and the end of the Mesozoic Era, the Time of the Dinosaurs. The mother Iguanodon returned to tending her nest, preparing for the hatchlings to be born. But then, a green and white portal appeared out of nowhere. The dinosaurs looked towards it with curiosity. They watched to see a large group of strange creatures come out of it.

First came a group of five dragons. The first one was sapphire blue with scarlet red horns, wing membranes, chest and underbelly. He had silver claws on the top of his wing spine. His eyes were a bright sky blue and he had a small scar on the right hand side of his forehead along with scarlet red spikes running down his neck and back and eight longer ones on the end of his tail; four on each side that curved outwards.

The next one was scarlet red with lemon yellow horns, wing membranes and chest plates. His eyes were also sky blue like his companion's but his claws were dark grey, almost black, instead of silver. He had a strange curve of yellow dots under his eyes and two prong-like spikes on the end of his tail with a smaller set going down his back.

The third one was the largest of the group with algae green scales, black claws, and tyrian purple horns and claws. He had large shark fin-like spikes going down his neck and back and a large blade on the end of his tail. His wing membranes were nero grey and his eyes were a rich gold orange. Finally the last two were of a similar size to the first pair.

The first one had gamboge yellow scales, medium spring blue horns, wing membranes and leaf shaped blade on the end of his tail. Prussian blue eyes and greenish yellow chest plates and spike like fins that went down his neck and back. The fifth and final member of the group was ultramarine blue with harlequin green horns, gamboge yellow chest plates. Thin spikes ran down from the back of his head to his tail which had a large shell like club on the end of it.

"Well, here we are! The Early Cretaceous period!" smiled the red dragon. "Place looks prettier than I thought," smiled the first dragon. His name was Jack the Dragon, leader of the Fiery Five from the world known as Elledtharion and defenders of their home simply known as "The Northlands". He led the team with his closest and oldest friend Peter Johnson as his second-in command who also served as the team's medic and law expert.

While his role as a medic sometimes made him a bit adverse to fighting he was one of their best fighters, second only to Jack himself. Brave, noble and dependable in any situation, the red dragon always found a way to prove his worth. The group's third-in-command was Zach Makaius, their head of security. He was often a bit cocky and stubborn at times but was a good and reliable friend nonetheless.

Next came William Wrollston, the team's technical and tactical genius. There wasn't a machine he hadn't come across that he couldn't fix. His skill in such fields often provided the team with a winning edge, not to mention the fact he was one of the best inventors in the Multiverse. He had joined the team along with his best friend and the final member of the Five.

Ryan Bruffton was the Fiery Five's scout and tracker as well as being a great rock climber; that skill in particular had gotten them out of several situations in the past. Along with this he was a top swimmer alongside Jack. Since he was William's best friend, the pair were nearly always seen together and were a great duo, especially in the field.

Behind them came several more groups made up of the Five's allies. Team Prime, Team Primal, the Bee Team, the Street Sharks, the Extreme Dinosaurs, the Mane Eight, the Gang of Seven and the Lion Guard. The first group was made up of their friends from their world and across the Northlands. They were Woundwort the Stone Fury, Tyne the Black Lion, and Tyson the Tiger.

Second was the Northlands Lion Guard made up of Kaka the Lion, Ngao the Leopard, Ufua the Jackal, Utha the Nile Crocodile and Jua the Marshall Eagle being the fiercest, bravest, fastest, strongest, and keenest of sight. With them were some of the dinosaurs that lived in Elledtharion, Pod the Pyroraptor, White Tip the Velociraptor, the T-Rex's Crusher, his mate Rexy and her adopted little sister Blue the Deinonychus.

Third was Team Prime made up of Optimus Prime, Jack Darby, also known as Bluefire, Arcee, his girlfriend/sparkmate, Bumblebee, Raf Esquivel/Radar and his Cyber Ferret Mixi, Bulkhead, Miko Nakadai/Songblade, Ratchet, Jack's mom, June Darby/Alita, Wheeljack, Miko's boyfriend/sparkmate, Smokescreen, Optimus's second-in-command Ultra Magnus, Echolock and Starfire.

Fourth was the Bee Team, composed of Strongarm, Bumblebee's sparkmate, Grimlock, Windblade, Drift, his two minicon students, Slipstream and Jetstorm, and Sideswipe. Team Primal meanwhile was formed of Optimus Primal, Cheetor, Dinobot, Airazor, Rhinox, Rattrap, Tigatron, Crocodion and Cheetor's girlfriend Range Ear. The Mane Eight: (Princess) Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Spike the Dragon, Starlight Glimmer and Sunset Shimmer.

Then there were the Street Sharks: Ripster, Streex, Big Slammu and Jab. The Extreme Dinosaurs: T-Bone, Spike, Bullzeye, Hard Rock and Ridge. The Gang of Seven: Littlefoot, Chomper, Petrie, Cera, Ruby, Ducky and Spike. The Lion Guard: Kion, Fuli, Anga, Beshte, Ono and Bunga. Also present were Spyro the Dragon, his mate Cynder, his brother Sparx and their friend Hunter of Avalar.

Finally there were seven other animals, one was a purple dragoness named Cyra, who looked like Spyro but was a different and much darker shade of purple and had dark blue eyes and dark gold coloured horns. A pale lioness cub with a dark grey stripe down her back, round the edge of her ears, and eyes of the same colour, but light, and a scar on her right foreleg. Her name was Wisp.

Besider he was a male cub, her brother Shard, who looked like Kion but had pale grey-brown fur with darker spots on his legs and a darker chocolate coloured mane, lime green eyes and similar scar over his left one. The third one was also a lioness named Kujenga. She had reddish brown fur which was darker on her ears, a stripe down her back and near her paws which were white along with her chest, underbelly, which had dark brown stripes on either side.

There were also white marks under her eyes which were a sky/sapphire blue. Her tail tuft was formed of two different colors, along with a gradient on her hair and two snow white streaks on each of them. The Mark of the Guard was upon her left shoulder and was a gift from Kion. Though it was difficult to spot she had a pattern on her leg and the long part was based off the demigod Maui's hook.

With her were three of her friends who were members of her own Lion Guard. They were, Fredryka the Fox, the fastest, Octa the Ring-Tailed Lemur, one of Kujenga's closest friends, who had her own staff with gourds and leaves like Rafiki. She also had vines wrapped around her ankles and wrists and a leaf that formed an eyepatch over her right eye, a large scar on her back, three smaller ones on her right shoulder and the Mark of the Guard on her left one.

Finally, there was Roma the Racoon. He was another one of Kujenga's closest friends and was her Lion Guard's bravest. His eyes had two different colours in them. From what you would be told, he had inherited this strain of heterochromia from his dad. Romar's eyes were red and gold with two of the same colors in each eye. He also had three large scars on his back and two smaller ones on his right foreleg while the Mark of the Guard was, like the others, on his left shoulder.

"You and me both," smiled Tigatron in agreement, looking around at the peaceful landscape, for exploring and observing nature was his favourite pastime. Rainbow Dash, however, had a different opinion. "I don't know, this place looks pretty boring," said Rainbow, crossing her forelegs. "Boring?! Rainbow, this is the time of the DINOSAURS! This is way before most beings ever EXISTED!" said Tyson with ecstatic energy.

"He's right. Back here, there were no known civilizations," said Raf. "I do agree with Rainbow Dash a little. This place has some extreme humidity" said Tyne, who was sweating bullets from the heat, mainly due to his black fur. Fluttershy also had a different opinion as well. She was completely amazed by the animals she had NEVER seen before except in books.

"I think they're amazing! They all look so precious! I want to be friends with all of them!" smiled Fluttershy with joy. "You will in time, darling," said Rarity. "But if I may ask, where exactly are we?" asked Spyro. Everyone took a long look around and realised where they had Star Bridged to. "Looks like we landed in some sort of nesting area," said Hunter.

Then they all heard a low growl, and they turned to see the female Iguanodon facing them. She appeared to be guarding her nest from these strangers. "Looks like we're WAY too close to her eggs," said Spike (ED). "Then let's back away a little. Give both her, and those eggs some space," said Jack firmly. They all did as they were told and after they had backed up to a respectable distance she went back to her nest.

She gently pushed an egg with her front foot to align it with the other eggs, completing the circle. Then, a young Parasaurolophus came and looked curiously into the nest, sniffing at the eggs. The female tried to shoo it away, but it did not leave. Then the Iguanodon angrily snorted at it, this time threatening it to go away. The young dinosaur got the message that time and scampered off.

Suddenly Pinkie Pie hopped over to the nest. "Pinkie, I'd stay away if I were you," warned Woundwort, who was watching the pink earth pony with an exceedingly wary eye. When it came to Pinkie Pie, anything and everything could happen. "Yeah, next thing you know, you could be stomped into the ground," added. But Pinkie ignored them.

"Hello! What's your name? I'm Pinkie Pie! I'm the best pony friend I can be! Wanna be friends? We can be! We'll have fun! Lots of fun! Wanna play?" Pinkie asked the female Iguanodon, while smiling with a giant grin. The only response she got was an annoyed roar right in her face. She tumbled immediately backwards into the dust. She coughed several times before sitting back up covered in dust, and a not-amused look on her face.

"Sheesh! You don't have to YELL!" said Pinkie grumpily. "I told you so," said Woundwort, somewhat unsympathetically. "They're only like that during this time of season. It seems we're in a season where they have to breed and hatch their young. They have to protect them until they are born from anything that could possibly harm them. They can't afford to take the risk," explained Rhinox.

"Oh, that figures," said Sparx, rolling his eyes and crossing his arms. "Still, they don't have to be so rude," said Pinkie. "Well then, let's take a look around. We might see some other dinosaurs here," said Jack (TFP). "Well, before we do, we're missing somebody," said Strongarm. Everyone looked round at the group to see that she was right add quickly came to a conclusion on who had gone.

"She's right, where's Fluttershy?" asked Cyra, suddenly realising that the yellow pegasus pony was missing. "Has anyone seen sugarcat?"asked Applejack, indicating the fact that Tigatron was also missing. "Sparx is gone too," said Cynder. "Spike is also missing," said Twilight, in sudden realisation. "So where did they go?" wondered Chomper.

We can now see the same young Parasaurolophus from before as it runs past the other dinosaurs tending to their nests as it went to the next one along. But that nest's protector also shooed it away, and it runs towards the riverbank, where we see massive sauropods called Brachiosaurus, lowering their necks and drinking their fill from the water.

These massive giants are the last of their kind, the only survivors of the Jurassic Period, the Time of Giants. Not many are still alive, but they continue to live normally. Also present were more Parasaurolophuses, two Ceratopsians, Styracosaurus and the Pachyrhinosaurus, relatives of the famous Triceratops as well as more Iguanodons.

The young Parasaurolophus kid playfully chased after some birds across the water. But the flock quickly flew up towards the sky. Then it saw a flying lizard fly past it and land on a nearby hollowed-out log. The young dinosaur approached it as the lizard ate an insect after catching it with its sticky long tongue, much like that of a chameleon. Then Fluttershy walked over to it, followed by Tigatron, Sparx and Spike (MLP).

"Hello there, little one. My name is Fluttershy. Can you tell me what you are? I must know," smiled Fluttershy. But the dinosaur paid no attention. The lizard flew off and the dinosaur playfully chased after it into a jungle that formed the edge of the nesting grounds. "Wait! Come back!" said Fluttershy as she went after it into the jungle. Inside the jungle, the flying lizard landed on a tree root and the Parasaurolophus slowly approached it again.

Fluttershy approached the young hadrosaur once again. "Don't be afraid. I know you can't understand me at all, but perhaps if we start to know each other-" began the yellow pegasus with a smile. "Fluttershy!" called a voice. She turned to see Tigatron, Spike (MLP), and Sparx rushing over to her. "There you are," said Tigatron with an air of finality. "Has anyone even told you that you're not supposed to run off like that?" said Sparx, annoyed.

"We gotta get you back before the others become too worried," said Spike (MLP). "Hold on just a few more minutes, I must get to know this little one," smiled Fluttershy, trying once again to attempt to pet the dinosaur. The lizard moved away once again and landed on the trunk of a tree, which, strangely, appeared to be moving slightly. They looked at it with puzzled looks.

"Goodness, the tree is moving," said Fluttershy. "Uh, I don't think that's a tree, it looks more like a belly," said Spike (MLP). Then two big drops of saliva fell onto the tree root before them and seeped down to the ground, catching their attention. Then they heard a low, but scary growl. They looked up, to see a massive carnivore's head with piercing orange eyes, two horns, sharp teeth, staring and drooling down at them.

They began to shiver in fear before Fluttershy, Spike and Sparx moved to hide behind Tigatron. "Uh... hi there..." Spike said. shivering in fear. "...little creature?" gulped Fluttershy in fear, just as the mysterious monster looked down at them. Back outside the jungle, the others had made up their minds. "Come on, we better go look for them," said Jack.

"Well, they can't have gone that far," said Miko. Then they all heard three screams that they immediately recognised. They turned to see Fluttershy, Spike, Sparx, Tigatron, and the same young Parasaurolophus from before run out of the jungle, four of them shrieking in terror. "OUTTA MY WAY!" screamed Sparx as he darted past them. "AHHHHHHH!" screamed Fluttershy and Spike in terror.

"Don't stop!" cried Tigatron, urging them on. "What's going on?!" asked Ultra Magnus. "Fluttershy! Spike! Sparx! Tigatron! What did you see?!" asked Twilight. But the five just ran past them with the former four screaming. All of the other dinosaurs then looked over, wondering what was going on. Then the heroes heard a loud thumping sound. "Please tell me that's you guys?" said Fuli, looking up at Crusher and Rexy. "Shhh!" Crusher ordered, narrowing his eyes as the sound grew louder.

They all listened as the sound grew louder and louder, something big was chasing the little dinosaur that had fallen behind. Then it burst through the trees, revealing to be a Carnotaurus, or Carnotaur, for short. This species was one of the most deadly predators on the planet during the Mesozoic Era. While not as massive as a Gigantosaurus or Spinosaurus, it was still as vicious and as terrifying as a Tyrannosaurus Rex in its own right.

With its pointed horns, massive legs and mouth, reddish pink colored scales, and rows of gleaming sharp teeth, this predator was a flesh eating monster of the Cretaceous period. The Carnotaur roared loudly as it chased after the young dinosaur. "HOLY SCRAP!" exclaimed Sideswipe. "RUN!" yelled Jack, Kujenga, and Twilight together. The others didn't need the order as they all started to run for their lives.

Of course they, mainly the Autobots, Maximals along with Crusher and Rexy, could have fought it with ease but not with the risk of possibly injuring so many others around them. The young Parasaurlophus cried loudly as it fled for its life. Then, clearly seeing that the small prey wouldn't make a good breakfast meal, the predator roared again and charged on ahead, ignoring the young Hadrosaur, and started chasing after a larger prey item.

At the first sight of the carnivore, all the dinosaurs immediately began to run for their lives, with the mothers abandoning their nests and newly laid eggs to save themselves. The Iguanodon mother was pummeled almost constantly and even ran over a few times by the fleeing dinosaurs trying to get out and get away. She knew that she wouldn't last long if she didn't run for her life. The mother finally gave up and fled, leaving her eggs behind.

There was nothing more that she could do for them.

The Carnotaur ran straight on. One of its massive feet came crashing down on the nest, crushing the eggs under foot. All. Except one. The monstrous carnivore roared as it now zeroed in on a Pachyrhinosaurus that had fallen behind the bulk of the herd. The predator caught up with it as the Ceratopsian, which was panting hard with exhaustion as it ran. But there was no escape from that monster of the Cretaceous period when it had locked on to its chosen target.

Drawing level with it's target, the Carnotaur lowered its head and sank its teeth into the Pachyrhinosaur's back and slammed it down into the ground in a cloud of dust. The Ceratopsian shrieked in agony as the predator finished it off, killing it without mercy. As the herd fled, the Carnotaur roared in triumph, and started feasting on its fresh new kill. Meanwhile, the Multiverse Heroes finally emerged from behind some bushes where they had hid.

They were all amazed and shocked at the sudden appearance and furious energy of this predator. "What on earth is that thing?" asked Mixi. "Carnotaurus. Also known as a Carnotaur," said Jack, grimly. "A Carnotaur?" echoed Twilight, her voice holding a form of nervous curiosity. "One of the deadliest predators of the Cretaceous Period. A very nasty one too," added Raf.

"Jumpin' gyros.." breathed Cheetor. "Good thing it didn't come after us," the young Maximal continued with a shudder "We were just lucky that it was more focused on that organic. Next time, we might not be so fortunate," rasped Dinobot, narrowing his eyes at the predator. "Then I would advise extreme caution, and no one should go off on their own for any reason," ordered Optimus.

While this was happening, Drift's students spotted something in the nest of the mother Iguanodon and went over to investigate. Their optics widened at what they saw. "Master, look what we found!" called Slipstream. They turned to see him and Jetstorm holding up a dinosaur egg. They went over to them to examine it. Tyson let out a whistle of impressment. "That's a pretty big egg," he said.

"It's also a pretty darn lucky egg. That Carnotaur stomped on all of them except this one," said Cera. At that moment the egg suddenly started moving, surprising everyone, particularly Slipstream and Jetstorm who were holding it. "I don't believe it! It's moving!" exclaimed Streex. "It feels close to hatching," said Jetstorm, scanning the egg with his optics as he and his brother continued to hold their find.

"If I'm correct, it should hatch at ANY moment now," said Raf. "If this one survived, do you think any of the other eggs from any of the other nests made it?" asked Airazor. "Only way to be sure of that is to check out the other nests," said T-Bone. "Then we better hurry before that predator finishes its meal and decides to take a look for a snack," said Optimus Primal, looking back at the Carnotaur which was still eating.

"Precisely, we should really hurry," said Kujenga. Everyone nodded and started to search around the other nests, with Slipstream and Jetstorm leaving the surviving Iguanodon egg alone. But whilst they were searching, they didn't see something slowly approaching the destroyed nest. Had they cared to look, they would have seen a strange dinosaur looming over the egg.

It was a dinosaur that bore a striking resemblance to Ruby. It was an Oviraptor, nicknamed the "Egg Thief". The reason for its nickname was because it has an appetite for eating dinosaur eggs. It looked down at the egg, examining it, and the egg suddenly stirred. It was close to hatching, but the Oviraptor didn't care. It picked it up in its claws, and taking one last look around to make sure the nest's protector wasn't around, it ran off into the jungle.

Luckily for the egg, Jua caught its would-be-thief in the act. "Hey! That Oviraptor took the egg!" the marshall eagle cried out, alerting the rest of the heroes. They all looked round in time to see the Oviraptor running off with the egg. "After it! We gotta get it back!" yelled Rainbow. "Autobots! Transform and roll out!" Optimus ordered, quickly followed by Primal's order of, "Maximals! Transform and move out!" before everyone took off in pursuit.

Crossing over various creeks and multiple fallen trees in the jungle, the Oviraptor reached a certain point of the jungle where it is alone. It looked around really quick, making sure no other dinosaurs were around, and it began to work on the egg. It started dropping the egg to the ground to try and break it open, but it didn't work. It tried to bite into the egg, but it suddenly heard something come from behind it.

It looked back to try and see what it was, when the egg was snatched from its claws by another hungry Oviraptor that had just appeared and was also looking for an easy meal. The first Oviraptor turned to face the other and they growled at each other in readiness to battle for who would get the meal. Then they tried to take it out of each other's claws, when they both lost their grip on the egg which fell over the side of the log and splashed into a river.

They both looked down at the river, then attacked each other and before the second one ran off with the first one in pursuit. At that moment, the Multiverse Heroes arrived just in time to see the egg land in the river and be swept away by the current. "It's driftin' away!" exclaimed Rattrap. "Don't worry Rattrap. Now we're in our territory," said Ripster with a toothy grin before turning to his brothers. "Come on guys, let's shake a fin!"

"Shark dive!" The four anthropomorphic sharks dove into the river and immediately began swimming after the egg. "Come on, Ryan!" Jack called as he too dove into the water after the sharks. "Right behind you, Jack!" his friend replied as he too splashed into the water followed by Utha. The other's watched them go. "Come on, let's follow them downriver, they may need our help!" said Hunter and they all took off along the bank of the river.

In the water, the egg continued to drift down the river, carried by the strong current. Behind it, the Street Sharks, Jack, and Ryan also rode along the current. Jab was just about to grab it when an aquatic amphibian, a Koolasuchus, suddenly swam by and swallowed the egg. O-ho-ho! No, you don't! Jab thought and charged forward and rammed his head into the side of the creature.

As a result, its eyes widened and it spat out the egg before swimming off elsewhere. Further down were two Nodosaurus, with one on each opposing side of the river, decidedly arguing over who should drink from the river first. The egg finally emerged from the water and bobbed all the way downstream. Both Nodosaurs stopped arguing as they watched the egg move past them followed by the fins of the sharks.

Then they looked at each other and resumed arguing. Then the egg passed by a herd of Pachyrhinosaurus, drinking from the river, as it headed toward an upcoming waterfall. The heroes then appeared on the shore of the river. "It's gonna go over the waterfall!" exclaimed Applejack. "We gotta save it! Any ideas?" asked Tyne. "I got it!" said Rainbow and dashed forward.

But before she could grab it, a Pteranodon swooped down from the sky over her and snatched up the egg with its beak. Then it moves over the waterfall and dived down along the length of it. "Hey! I saw it first!" Rainbow shouted angrily to the pterosaur. "Come on, after that pterosaur!" yelled Twilight as she flapped her wings and took off after the new egg stealer, closely followed by the Fiery Five, Bullzeye, Optimus, Primal, Airazor, Spyro, Cynder, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and the rest of the flying heroes.

Meanwhile, the Pteranodon flew over a canyon, flying past massive herds of dinosaurs, all socialising with one another and going about their daily lives. Then it flew past them and onwards, deeper into an even deeper canyon, with a valley lying below. After reaching the coast, the Pteranodon then flew out to sea and began heading towards an uncharted island.

As it did so, a storm began approaching the island from the seaward side. Finally, it reached the island's coastline, where the Pteranodon's chicks sat in their nest, waiting for the mother's return. The Pteranodon headed towards them, but it was suddenly attacked by a couple of birds, obviously wanting the egg for themselves and their own chicks. While being pecked at, the pterosaur lost its grip on the egg which fell onto the island, through the treetops, and deep into the jungle.

We see a group of primates called lemurs jumping away at a fast rate when the egg suddenly lands right in the middle of their area, surprising them and scaring them. They climbed on the trees and swung away on the vines. Then they stopped and looked at the egg. Apparently, the egg had arrived and landed on an island inhabited only by a colony of lemurs.

On this island, they have never seen a dinosaur or any other animal besides themselves before. So whatever they have never seen before, scares them deeply. As they wonder what it is, one small family of lemurs cautiously moves closer and peeks out from the ferns. There are three of them. One is a mature female lemur, the second is an elderly male lemur, and the third is a young male lemur with dark brown fur. The young lemur seems puzzled by the egg.

"Yar, what is it?" a young lemur whispered to the elderly one next to him. "I don't know," whispered Yar, the elderly male. The young lemur tried to get a better look at the egg, but Yar held him back. The female lemur, however, moved towards it to investigate. "Plio, get back here! We don't know what it is!" Yar ordered his daughter, Plio. But she paid no attention to her father, and continued to approach the egg as other lemurs watched on.

"Plio, be careful," whispered the young lemur. Plio was indeed cautious. She had never seen anything like it before. She looked up at the sky, wondering where it came from before continuing to approach it. Yar and the young lemur exhaled softly with worried looks as they watched Plio. When Plio got closer, the eggs shell burst outward, as something tried to burst through it.

Plio gasped and jumped back a little ways along the branch, but nothing came out. The egg remained still. Hesitating at first, she slowly started examining it. Then she opened the egg up and saw what was inside. Her eyes widened as whatever she saw, had both surprised and spooked her at the same time. "Dad, get over here," Plio called back to her father in a whisper.

Yar started to approach, when the young lemur suddenly jumped ahead of him to try and see what it was. But Yar instantly grabbed him by the tail and pulled him back. "Zini, it's not safe!" whispered Yar. "Oh, I always have to go when stuff's happening" whined Zini, the young one. Yar grunted in annoyance before he slowly approached his daughter.

Plio appeared to be pulling something out from the egg and is now holding it. But he couldn't see what it was. "Well, what is it?" said Yar. "It was an egg. Look," said the female lemur and she turned around to face him. And there in her arms, was a baby male Iguanodon hatchling. Yar gasped in shock at the sight of it. "What?" asked Plio, seeing the look on his face.

Apparently, at the back of his mind Yar did know what it was, but at that moment it was, in his opinion, a monstrous dinosaur. "It's a cold-blooded monster from across the sea. Vicious, flesh-eating-" began the elderyly lemur before the Iguanodon hatchling burped, interrupting him. Yar was digusted. Plio understood her father's concern, but she didn't believe the baby was, in fact, a monster of any sort.

"Looks like a baby to me," said Plio, raising a skeptical eyebrow at him. "Babies GROW UP! You keep that thing, one day, we'll turn our backs, it'll be picking us out of its teeth!" declared Yar. Then he realized that two young lemurs, their curiosity aroused, had crept forward slightly and were now behind him and turned to them, and continued. "Things like THAT, eat things like US as snacks!" said Yar loudly.

One of the youngsters jumped back while the other lemurs became frightened by what Yar had said, especially the young ones. "So, what do we do?" said Plio. "Get rid of it!" Yar declared. However, Plio seemed more protective of it than before, mainly due to the fact at how harmless the baby looked. Yar grunted and turned away. "What has gotten into you?" smiled his daughter, who was starting to find it rather amusing to watch.

Yar sighed and turned to his daughter. "Plio, that thing is DANGEROUS!" her father said. Plio then sighed softly and looked down at the hatchling. "I'm sorry, little one," sighed the female lemur sadly once again. Then she suddenly handed it to her father. "Okay, get rid of it," said Plio challengingly to her father. Yar gasped in shock as Plio put it in his hands. He now had the "cold-blooded monster" in his grasp. Plio huffed and sat down.

"Fine, I will," said Yar. He then turned to the edge of the giant branch and raised the baby over it, intending to drop it. However, he seemed, all of a sudden, hesitant to do so. He wanted to drop it, but his instincts somehow wouldn't let him. Yar muttered incoherently to himself as he tried to drop the baby. "You'd better hurry up, Dad. It looks hungry," smiled Plio, teasing him.

Yar rolled his eyes as he once again tried to force himself to drop the baby. But then, the baby Iguanodon opens its eyes for the first time to see the world around him. The elderly lemur then stammered, seeing how adorable it looked now that it had opened its eyes. Then he suddenly realised what he was doing and shrugged it off. But the baby yawned and looked at Yar with its newly opened green eyes.

It gurgled and started smiling at him. Yar finally gave in and rolled his eyes once again. He finally believed Plio that it wasn't a threat at all. He groaned in defeat. But then, the baby started urinating as it looked at him. He grunted in disgust before he handed it back to his daughter. "Here," he grunted in disgust. Plio took the hatchling whilst smiling, now proud of her father.

She knew he wouldn't harm the baby, since it looked, and was, clearly harmless. "Don't worry. We'll teach it how to hate meat," smiled Plio. "Hmph," grunted Yar, still not proud of her. As he moved back all the other lemurs moved in to check out the baby. "Watch his head!" Yar suddenly blurted out all of a sudden. All of the lemurs looked back at him in surprise.

Yar quickly recovered, realising what he had just said and how foolish he looked. "I-I mean, watch it, he could bite," he said before he walked away. Then Zini went over to Plio and looked down at the Iguanodon hatchling. "This monster's got no teeth. What's he gonna do? Gum us to death?" said Zini, disbelievingly. "Zini, come on. Look at the sweet little face. Does that look like a monster to you?" said Plio smiling as the baby cooed and smiled up at her.

Little did they know that they're about to have more mysterious and unexpected visitors. Then they heard a strange noise followed by approaching voices. "I think the egg fell down somewhere around here," came Smokescreen's voice. "Let's check it out then," came Kujenga's voice. "Quick! Hide!" said Plio to the lemurs. They all immediately went into hiding as Plio clutched the baby dinosaur in his arms.

Then she watched as the heroes appeared on the jungle floor below them. She and the other lemurs could not believe their eyes. Just who were these strangers on their island and why were they here? "Are you sure the egg landed here? It could have fallen onto another part of the island," said Blue to Spyro as they walked out of the Ground Bridge. Plio was very surprised.

Were they looking for the egg that had landed here? "I'm CERTAIN that this is where the pterosaur dropped it, and I know that because I saw it with my own two eyes," said the purple dragon. "So did we," added Woundwort, Airazor, and Rainbow Dash. "Then let's spread out. Look for the egg, and PRAY the baby inside wasn't harmed by the fall," said Kion. He turned to the Lion Guard.

"Ono, Anga, see if you can spot where the egg landed as best you can," said the young lion. The two birds nodded. "Affirmative." "You got it, Kion." And flapping their wings, they took off into the branches to look. "We'll give you a paw," said Tyson, and followed by Tyne, Octa, and Roma, vaulted up the nearest tree to assist his friends in the search.

While that was happening, Crusher turned and spoke to the dinos. "Okay, you lot. We've got the best noses, so let's see if we can try and pick up the scent that the Pteranodon left on that egg, if any." "You got it!" said T-Bone and the rest of his team nodded in agreement along with Rexy, Pod, Blue, White Tip, and Chomper before they all began making their way among the trees, noses to the ground.

"Come on, let's take a look too," said Kaka, and he and Ngao climbed up the same tree Tyson and the others had gone up a few moments before. Everyone else began searching about for the egg as best they could, either with their eyes, like Jua, Petire, and Mixi, noses in the case of those who had them, such as the Street Sharks, Grimlock, and Ufua, or with scanners in the case of the Autobots and Maximals.

As Sparx looked around, he didn't realize that a few lemurs were watching him from behind a tree trunk. Sparx continued to search through the underbrush as the lemurs watched him with the same continuity. It was then that the dragonfly suddenly got the strange feeling he was being watched. He stopped for the moment to look behind him, but the lemurs still remained hidden. Confused, Sparx went back to searching.

When the lemurs peaked out again, Sparx stopped and turned around even quicker than before but they were equally fast in hiding once more. Sparx started to feel like he and his friends were not alone. "Hey guys. I could be wrong here, but I'm suddenly getting the feeling that we're being watched?" he said nervously. "Even by your standards that's ridiculous, Sparx, there's no one else here but us," said Twilight.

Unbeknownst to the heroes, Zini quietly grabbed a fruit from a nearby branch and, snickering, threw it directly at Cera's head. "Ouch!" Cera yelped. Zini giggled quietly, but stopped when he saw Plio glaring at him. "Okay, who threw that?!" demanded Cera with an angry look. "Threw what?" asked Strongarm, confused. "A fruit! Someone threw one at me!" said the young Triceratops.

"Cera, we're all looking for the egg right now. So could you please get back to looking for it?" asked Littlefoot, annoyance creeping into his voice. "Well, SOMEBODY threw it..." grumbled Cera as she went back to looking. "I got something!" said Sideswipe as he came over with something in the palm of his hand. "What is it, Sideswipe?" Bumblebee asked his team mate.

His fellow Autobot walked over and showed him the egg shards he had found, as the others also came over to have a look. "Are they from the egg?" Cynder asked in wonder. "Looks like it," said Jack (TFP). "Then that means that the baby must have hatched," said Rhinox. "Well, it can't have wandered off. We GOT to look for it!" said Tyler. "Maybe I can help," came a strange voice.

Everyone immediately looked around when they heard it. "Twilight, did you say something, darling?" asked Rarity. "That wasn't me," said Twilight. "DEFINITELY not me either," said Starfire. "Then who did say it?" wondered Stegz. "Aha! I knew we weren't alone! I told you so," declared Sparx triumphantly. "Maybe it's the brat that threw that fruit at me," growled Cera.

"Ahem! Up here!" came Tyson's voice. Everyone then looked up to see Tyson above them along with Plio, who was still holding the baby Iguanodon. "Is THIS the one you were all looking for?" asked Plio, holding out the baby. "The BABY!" exclaimed everyone happily. Tyson and the others slowly climbed down from the tree, followed by Plio and reached the jungle floor. She hopped over to them and showed the baby to them, still safe in her arms.

"I can't believe it. You found it!" said Fuli. "You're a lifesaver," added Kujenga with a smile. "Well, you're very welcome," replied Plio happily. The other lemurs then came out of hiding and approached the heroes. "Whoa, that's a lot of lemurs in one place..." said Pinkie Pie in wonder. Dinobot, however, remained cautious at the sight of so many of these creatures and growled a little. Woundwort and Mixi did the same while Shard and Wisp bared their teeth at them.

"Knock it off you lot. They seem friendly," Jack said to the five of them. Shard and Wisp slowly relaxed, followed a few moments later by Woundwort and Dinobot, though they still kept an eye on the new arrivals. "We can't thank you enough, Miss?" said Cyra, asking for the female lemur in front of them for a name. "Plio," she replied with a smile.

"Nice to meet you, Plio. My name is Jack the Dragon" greeted Jack. "And I am Optimus Prime," added Optimus, bending down so he could see Plio properly. "And these are all our friends," said Miko, jerking a thumb over he shoulder at the rest of the Multiverse Heroes who all introduced themselves. "So, just how did you find it?" asked June, gesturing to the baby dinosaur. "Oh, we didn't find it. It found US," said Plio.

"Meaning?" asked Fredryka, confused. "It fell from the sky and landed right in front of us on the branch we were on," said Plio. "Well, that explains that part of the matter," said William. All the heroes then took a long look at the baby as Range Ear gently took it from Plio and held it in her hands. It gurgled and smiled up at them." "Awwww!" smiled Twilight and the ponies.

"He looks so adorable," said Windblade in agreement. "And I think that he likes all of you as well," smiled Plio. "He sure does," said Big Slammu. Zini then hopped over to take a better look at them. "Whoa! You guys look so weird and strange! Where did y'all come from?" the young lemur asked. "We come from varying timelines, and from several different worlds," said Jack, after giving a small chuckle.

"Cool! So you're all from different worlds?" Zini asked. "That's right!" said Rainbow Dash proudly. Glitter continues to hold the baby Iguanodon in her arms as she pets its head. "I'd be careful. It peed on my Dad when he held it," chuckled Plio. "Who is your father then?" asked Tigatron. "That would be me," said Yar as he approached them.

"You're her father?" asked Peter. "Yes, my name is Yar. And before you ask, I'm the one in charge around here," said Yar, trying to make himself appear tougher, despite his small size. "Well, thank you for taking care of it, Yar," said Fuli with a grateful smile. "No problem. Now I suppose all of you will be taking it back to where it came from?" asked Yar, hopefully, seeing this as an opportunity to get rid of the baby.

"Dad!" said Plio and Zini together. "Actually, he's right, Plio. We only came all this way to get the baby back home," said Tyne. "Yeah, I'm afraid we're with your dad on this one," said Beshte. "It is unfortunate, yes, but it must be done," said Ruby. Plio sadly nodded in understanding. She had really started to bond with the newly hatched dinosaur. "Unfortunately, I don't think that returning this baby will be even be possible to achieve at this point," said Peter in a grave tone.

"What do ya mean, Peter?" asked Applejack. "For one thing, we don't know where to find its mother, the herds we saw could be anywhere on the mainland by now, not to mention they ALL look near enough alike. And to make matters worse, they may be like birds. You take the baby away, they might not want to take it back, when it's returned, intentionally or not," said the red dragon.

"So what you are saying, in effect, is that this baby doesn't have a home now?" said Ultra Magnus, gravely. "Unfortunately, it seems to be that way," said in agreement. [Well, in that case, we don't have a choice. It'll have to stay here with the lemurs then,] said Bumblebee. "No! No! It can't stay here!" said Yar, shocked. "Why not?" asked Rexy, narrowing her eyes.

"My dad is terrified of them. He thinks they're monsters," said Plio, blandly, shooting a glare at her father. "Is that true?" asked Spyro while the rest of the Multiverse Heroes turned to the elderly lemur and gave him stern looks, particularly the dinosaurs at being described as "monsters". "Yes! Yes! But I was wrong! Okay?! They're not harmless!" groaned Yar in defeat. "Then please, sir. Let it stay here. It doesn't have a home now," said Starlight Glimmer.

"We can't just abandon this baby alone to die. If you say it's harmless, then what's the problem of letting it stay here to be raised by you lot?" said Octa. All the lemurs then turned to Yar, awaiting his answer. But he was not still sure, even though their otherworldly compatriot had made a valid point. "Uhh..." Yar mumbled, thinking about it whilst feeling very uncomfortable under his tribe's gazes.

After several seconds, he finally came to a decision. "I suppose it can stay here," sighed Yar. "Thanks, Dad," said Plio gratefully. "Don't worry, sir. We'll help you raise it too, I've got experience in that field," said Raf. "You're all staying here TOO?!" exclaimed the lemur patriarch, in horror. "No, no, no, we can't stay here, we have homes in our own worlds to take care of, but we'll come back to help from time to time," said Jack.

Yar sighed with obvious relief. "Well, now that it has a home, there's only one thing left to do, what do we name him?" asked Sparx. "I think Jason sounds nice," said Sunset Shimmer with a smile. "Nicholas sounds better," said Streex. "I think Ol' Neil is good," said Grimlock with a wide grin. Everyone looked at him with incredulous looks. "OL' NEIL?" yelled everyone, including the lemurs.

"He's a dinosaur Grim, not a dog!" Sideswipe procrastinated. "I've got one. How about…. Aladar?" suggested Plio. "Hey, I like the sound of that," smiled Cyra. "I agree, it seems to be a fitting name," said Kion. "Aladar the Iguanodon. Has a nice ring to it," said Ngao with a smile. The baby smiled also and cooed. "Heh heh, I think he likes the name, as well" said Woundwort. "Then it's settled. From now on, his name is Aladar," smiled Jack.
