This little story will be about Danmachi and One piece or more like a One piece character in Danmachi. English is not my first language so please don't be too hard on me guys^^

"BUUUUURRP!"

A melodic sound resonated in the inhabited island of Rusukaina, scaring most of its animals.

"Puaaah...that was good!" Patting his too-large-to-be-normal belly, a dark-haired young man was sitting cross-legged before a campfire, watching the last daylights illuminating the evening sky after a nice meal of meat, meat, and... a little more meat.

"Rayleigh has returned to Sabaody, so I guess I have like six months until I go too...I can't wait to see them again after all this time! I bet they're going to be so much stronger shishishi." Yes, you know it, our favorite pirate captain, meat lover, adventurer, and rubbery idiot, Monkey D Luffy was still training. One and a half years after the famous "War of the Best" and the tragic events that took place during the conflict.

"Still, I must train even harder until I reunite with them, to be ready for the new world. So now, time to sleep. I hope I dream of meat tonight!"

Drifting slowly to a night filled with dreams of adventures, friends, and island-sized chunks of meat, the young pirate didn't know he was being watched.

"Dreams of meat, heh?...what a funny boy! It'll make an interesting little story to watch."

"Maaan, I'm spent... I can't wait to be home". A red-haired, well-built young man was sighing as he walked with his two friends after a long day of traveling and fighting.

"Stop complaining, Welf-sama! Lily is tired too, and just hearing your whining makes her even more tired." The voice of a short brown-haired girl answered the red-haired man's complaint.

"How mean! Do you hate my voice that much Lil'Lily?" the named Welf asked with a teasing smile.

"STOP CALLING ME THAT!" Screamed Lily.

"Mahh, please don't get upset Lily. You know Welf is just messing with you. We're all tired after that quest. I can see Orario now, so we'll be there in an hour or so." With his hands held up in front of him and a strained smile, a white-haired, red-eyed rabbit… or boy was trying to calm his upset companion whose hands were desperately trying to strangle the red-haired male. Too bad her arms were too short to reach the other's neck...

"Bell-sama is right. Lily shouldn't get upset. After the War game, the cleaning of the Hearth manor, and the failed recruitment. A little calm would be greatly appreciated." Answered Lily with a smile.

"Well said lil'Lily!"

"Tch!"

"A shame Mikoto-san didn't come, but I guess Goddess wanted to spend some time with her." lamented the rabbit boy. "We're almost the... what was that flash?"

"I saw it too, can't be natural lightning with a sky like this. Want to check out Bell?" Asked Welf.

The trio changed course and turned toward that mysterious flash, and after a while, found themselves looking upon a strange scene, three vaguely dog-looking monsters were approaching something on the ground. Something that looked like a... human?

"!"

With a speed that no normal human should possess, Bell crossed the distance between his party and the monsters and cut them down before they could touch the would-be victim. The monsters turned to ash while Bell checked the human's condition.

"Kobolds? So close to Orario? Man... I know they're not scary or dangerous for most people here, but you'll think the guards would have already spotted them." Welf was grumbling.

"Rally a chance that we were close enough to see that flash." Observed Lily. "A human?"

"Yes, and a boy, I think..." Confirmed Bell. "He doesn't seem hurt or anything. It looks like he's just...sleeping."

The human in question was dark-haired and looked maybe under twenty years old. With a relatively slim build, he was sporting a scar just under his left eye, and his attire consisted of a red sleeveless vest, blue-long shorts, and sandals on his feet. The man was snoring peacefully on his back, the arms and legs spread wild on the ground. He was not far from the city walls. Just not so close that he would have been easily spotted from there.

"Still, no armor, no weapons, and sleeping alone like this. Even in the city, I wouldn't do that."

"You sure Welf-sama?" The smirking Lily asked.

"Sh-shut up lil'Lily! I was just tired and that was a one-time thing!"

While the two were bickering. Bell, still watching the sleeping man, decided that waking him be safer should be safer to avoid a similar situation once he and his party were gone. He put his hand on the boy's shoulder and pushed lightly.

"Hey, mist...

"DON'T TOUCH MY MEEEEEEAT!" The man immediately sat up and screamed at the top of his lungs.

Spooked by the sudden shitstorm, the poor rabbit boy fell on his ass, his eyes wild and his heart thundering in his chest as if a Goliath had just jumped in front of him.

""What the hell was that?"" Welf and Lily, still bickering on the side, stopped to look at Bell and the now awake man.

"Damn meat robber…huh?" The man, realizing he was awake and out of that horrible nightmare, turned his head left and right before his eyes landed on Bell, still on his ass looking at him."Hi!"

"...Hi?"

"Are you a meat robber?"

"H-huh…no, my name is Bell Cranel."

"Pell Camel?"

"N-no, Bell Cranel."

"Tell Bacrel?"

""IT'S EVEN WORSE!" Two voices made him turn to the short Lily and the red-haired Welf, who couldn't help themselves after this second tentative, how can someone mispronounce a name even worse on the second try?

While those two were thinking of the universe's mysteries, the man, was taking in his surroundings. The jungle surrounding him had all but disappeared, and the same for his campfire...did someone cut the trees? Why? He liked the forest dammit! He looked behind him. Huh…did someone built walls during the night?

«...excuse me?" He turned again to see the white-haired boy from before, trying to talk to him.

"What?"

"I-I was just asking who you were?" Bell asked shyly.

"Me? I'm Monkey D Luffy! Nice to meet cha!"

"Monkey huh? What a strange name…well, no matter." The red-haired man put one hand on his chest and the other on the short girl's head. "Nice to meet cha, Monkey. I'm Welf, and this tiny thing is Lily."

"My name is Luffy! Monkey D is my surname!"

"Why the "D"?"

"Hell if I know."

"Lily recalls that people from the Far East also put their surname first, like Mikoto-sama." Lily pushed Welf's hand away. "And Lily's real name is Liliruca Arde."

"Nice to meet you too Luffy-san. Can I ask why you were sleeping here alone? Are you from Orario?" Asked Bell.

"Orario? What's that?" Luffy tilted his head to the side.

"Huh? W-well, the city just behind you. I just assumed you were from or going there." That was a strange reaction. Why did it look like he didn't know the center of the world...everyone should know Orario at least by name, and he was sleeping JUST in front of it!

"There is a city behind this big wall? I was wondering what that was. And no, yesterday when I got to sleep, I was still on Rusukaina. I ate the meat, damn good by the way, I lay down to sleep and next thing I know you woke me up." Luffy was wondering too. This wasn't Rusukaina? If so, then why did he wake up in another place? Rayleigh didn't say anything about moving, and he departed for Sabaody yesterday, so it couldn't be him. Well, in any case…"Do you know how to get to Rusukaina? I was supposed to stay here for a few more months, so I should get back there...Do you have a boat?"

The party of three looked at one other. Rusukaina? Maybe it was some country or city? But they all shook their heads. They had never heard of "Rusukaina", if this strange man was there yesterday, it shouldn't be far. Maybe he was just confused or lying.

Bell turned to the man again "W-well Luffy-san, we don't know of this Rusukaina place you are talking about so..."

GRRRRRRR!

What was that? Another monster? The trio of friends turned around and spied their surroundings to find out what made this frightening growl when….

"Ahhh, I'm so hungry!"

"""…""" Three heads turned to Luffy. The pirate was holding his belly, looking sadly at it.

"Ne, do you have some meat?"

"Hmm…sorry man, we didn't go far, so we didn't take much food on us, and we already ate all of it. But seriously, it was your body that made that sound? That was some scary growl. I thought it might be a big monster, like a Minotaur or something." Welf said while looking up and down at the stranger-by-the-minute man.

"Minotaur? What's that? Is it tasty?"

"""Huh?"""

"Lily doesn't think we have a human in front of us, he's more like a headache walking on two legs. You shouldn't eat monster meat. It's poisonous, so really bad for your health. Are you in a Familia?" Asked the short girl becoming a little suspicious. He knew nothing about Orario, Minotaurs, and he said he was from some unknown place. He must be full of shit, no?

"A Familia? You mean a family? Well, I have my friends and we were separated for some time, but I'll see them soon. Why?"

Another strange answer...seriously who was that guy?

"W-well, if you're hungry and don't know Orario...maybe you should come with us so we can show you where you can buy food. A-and if you don't have any money, then..." Bell couldn't finish because he felt someone grip his sleeve and pull lightly on it to get his attention.

The culprit was Lily, who got close to him and whispered just loud enough so that only he and Welf heard her. "Bell-sama, Lily thinks we should not implicate ourselves more with that person...don't you find it weird that he doesn't know about Orario despite being so close to it, or about Familias...If Bell-sama is worried, we can just direct him to the gates and someone will help him find food or something."

Bell, for his part, looked at Lily before turning to Luffy again."I don't know Lily, I don't feel like he's a bad person, and I want to help him."

"Just like always…Bell-sama is way too kind." Lily lightly shook her head.

"I'm with Bell here Lil'Lily, sure the guy is strange, but I don't get bad vibes from him." Welf supplied, still looking at Luffy."So Luffy, what do you say? Wanna come with us, and we can show you where you can find some good food?"

Just as the word "food" left his lips, Welf suddenly found the man in front of him with his face way too close!

"You know where I can find food?!"

"H-huh yeah…?"

The man, Luffy, he really should remember his name, threw his arms high in the air to celebrate like he just had a level-up.

"YEAAAH, FOOD! Yosh, let's gooo!"And with the biggest grin that they had ever seen in their life, he laughed.

"Shishishi"

Aaaand, done! I know this is short, but here is the first chapter. I hope it's not a total disaster. Leave a review if you find errors or if there are things you like. This story shouldn't be really long. After all, our favorite pirate must not miss his reunion with his crew, so you can guess what the goal will be and I repeat this my first story, so it's more like a test.

I read so many stories since I discovered this site...I read stories about One piece, Fairy tail, Danmachi, One punch man, Overlord, High School DXD, and some other animes, and many times I had thoughts of writing a story but never tried...this time I wanted to see Luffy getting in Danmachi but didn't find many of them so I said to myself "Meh...why not?"

I think it'll be a little harder to write a crossover for a first story, but this is what I want to write….

ANYWAY, I don't know if I will update regularly, but I'll try not to be too long. UNTIL NEXT TIME!
