Chapter 6. Random thieves on the street!
Yoh P.O.V
Yoh yawned loudly and stretched his body when he woke up. The sun was shining and lighted up his, Manta's, Ren's and Lyserg's room. Yoh let his gaze fall down on Lyserg who was still asleep, or so he though. The clock was around 10 and he changed clothes. He once again let his gaze look at Lyserg before he decided to wake the younger boy up.
"Hey Lyserg, wake up", he said and shook the boy lightly on his shoulder. The younger boy opened his eyes.
"Finally you woke up", he said and sat up.
"You were already awake?" Yoh asked, he was a little surprised.
"Yeah", Lyserg shortly answered and sat up against the wall, looking around in the room while Yoh pulled on a blue and black zipped hoodie."What's this?"
"What is what?" he asked when Lyserg jumped over to Manta's bed and picked something up.
"This", he said and held up a note, probably from Manta. Yoh walked over to him and took the note so he could read it out loud.
"Horohoro, Ren, Ryu, Chocolove and I are out in town for a short while. The girls and Faust are eating breakfast. We'll be right back." Lyserg looked up at Yoh and blinked a few times, waiting on what Yoh was about to say.
"Well, I guess we should go down and eat then", he said and walked downstairs with Lyserg close behind him. The entered the dinning room and it was more people then yesterday. It was not much people but Yoh still looked back at Lyserg. The boy was looking around with a serious and watchful gaze while Yoh could hear him quietly growling."They're not gonna do anything", Yoh said to his friend who gave him an asking look."I promise." Lyserg took Yoh in his arm which made him twitch a little in surprise but then smiled.
He understood that Lyserg was careful around people since he had never trusted anyone, well, if the wolves wasn't counted in. If Lyserg was unsure, then Yoh wanted to be there for him.
Yoh found the girls and Faust around a round table close by.
"Finally you woke up", Anna said while she took a bite of an apple.
"Heh heh, yeah", Yoh said with an apologizing smile before he turned to Lyserg."What would you like to have for breakfast?" he asked the younger boy.
"Juice!" he directly answered in a happy tone which made the others laugh.
"What more?" Yoh smiled at the boy who seemed to thing.
"Uhm... sandwich?" he asked, hesitanting.
"Okay, sandwich it is!" Yoh smiled."You can sit down and I'll fix that for you." Yoh turned his back against Lyserg who sat down when he noticed something so he turned back."Sit as a human", he said to Lyserg who once again was sitting on all fours.
A while later ~
"Guys! You won't believe us!" Horohoro almost shouted as he and the other boys except for Yoh and Lyserg came back to the hotel.
"What is it?" Yoh asked, smiling.
"On our way back from the shop we were to we say some random guy!"
"And what?" Yoh asked, he didn't see anything strange with someone on the street.
"We though so as well at first, but then he seemed to talk to some cats!" Manta excitedly said which made the others blink in surprise.
"Well, it is strange", Anna admitted.
"And then he sneaked up next to a lady who had bough some food! And then he quickly snatched food from her and she didn't notice!" Horohoro said out, louder than needed.
"What happened next?" Pirika asked in a breathless tone.
"And that's the strange part!" Chocolove said."He hid in the shadows in an alleyway with some cats and other animals like foxes, rats and stray dogs, then he shared the food with them!"
"And then the cats he'd been talking to before he took the food showed up with even more food!" Manta told the ones who had been at the hotel.
"Wow, that's kinda awesome, even if he nicked the food", Yoh admitted.
"But didn't you ask him what he was doing?" Tamao quietly asked with red cheeks as usual, just because she got everyone's attention.
"Of course we did", Ren answered her.
"Yep, that's right!" Horohoro said."Ren asked him what he was doing but then the boy seemed to say to the animals to run away 'cuz all the animals disappeared and so did he!" Horohoro finished the story, leaving everyone speechless.
"Well, he did a good thing for the animals", Faust said and Yoh looked down at Lyserg, he hadn't said anything in a while. Lyserg noticed that You was looking at him and looked up at him with a questioningly look.
"You haven't said anything in a while", Yoh said and Lyserg blinked innocent."Is something wrong?"
"No", Lyserg smiled and took a hold of Yoh's arm and laid his head against his shoulder. Yoh immediately blushed and the others gave his asking looks. He shrugged his shoulders with gave him a look from Lyserg.
"Eh, sorry", he apologized uncertain before he turned to the others.
"Back to the story, what did the boy look like?" Yoh asked.
"That's the funny point", Horohoro smiled."His clothes were dirty as if he had had them for a long time.
"And the clothes looked like..?" Anna asked.
"He had a white, dirty poncho and torn, red trousers", Manta told the others who didn't knew what the boy looked like.
"His hair was the same brown as Yoh's but much longer, it was maybe down to his waist", Chocolove said.
"What's so funny with that?" Yoh asked, he didn't get the point but that.
"Yoh." Yoh looked at Ren who looked back at him with serious golden eyes and crossed arms."In all ways, he looked like you."
So readers! That's it! I bet it's super hard to guess who the thief on the street is haha! ;)
BTW, I have no idea if there are any foxes, stray dogs and cats and such in London, but yeah XD
