Hi! Sorry for not updating last month! X(
Anyways, I've got nothing to say so please enjoy the new chapter of Little Wolf!
And I don't own Shaman King. Then everything would just be messed up...
When the sun was going down when Lyserg returned to the hotel with a smile on his face. It felt like it was years ago since he was home. Back at the hotel-room he was greeted by Yoh who was alone in the room, laying on his bed with music in his ears.
"Where is Ren and Manta?" Lyserg asked while sitting down on Manta's bed next to Yoh's.
"They went to some shop down the street", Yoh answered shortly. Silence filled the room and Lyserg looked out through the window down at some side-alley that only a few people used, yet Lyserg liked to look through the hole that allowed him to see outside the building.
He didn't like rooms without windows at all, he couldn't help but feel trapped in them. The windows gave him a little feeling of freedom. A few minutes later, Yoh sighed and took out the earphones from his ears.
"Lyserg?"
"Hm?" Lyserg turned around to meet the other boy's brown eyes.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Yeah", Lyserg shortly answered, curiosity sneaking up inside him. Yoh made his way to Manta's bed and sat down next to Lyserg who slightly blushed and his heart skipped a beat. The younger boy looked down at the suddenly entertaining floor, not really daring to look up at Yoh, not when they were so close to each other, all the time waiting for Yoh say something.
"Well, you know... I've been thinking, a lot", Yoh slowly started.
"Mm", Lyserg managed to quietly say.
"Mostly about your past and everything." Lyserg immediately blinked, his past? But why? It didn't concerned the older boy so why did he think about it?
"Y-yeah?" Lyserg shakily asked, very nervous.
"And I couldn't help but wonder, for how long have you been with the wolves?" Yoh asked curiously and locked Lyserg's gaze in his. Lyserg so wanted to look away but he couldn't.
He seriously didn't know what to answer on that question. Sure, he'd been with them from a couple of years but he didn't know how many. He could faintly remember someone else, or some people from his past, but they were only some shadows in his mind.
"Lyserg?" Yoh carefully asked when he saw how the younger boy uncertainly looked away from him while he blushed.
"I... don't know", Lyserg answered, still refusing to look at Yoh.
'Why are you looking away from him?' the younger boy asked himself.'What are you ashamed of?' Lyserg closed his eyes before sighing and opening the again. He carefully looked at Yoh in the corner of his eye.
"But..."
"I can't remember anything", Lyserg interrupted, half-lying. He did his best to hold back his tears while biting his lip.
"Hey, what's the matter?" Yoh asked when he noticed Lyserg's withdrawn-ness (can I put a "ness" after that word..?) and he put his hand on the other boy's shoulder. Tears slowly started to fall down his cheeks and looked away once more.
"Lyserg?" Yoh asked again, his eyes searching for the green ones.
"It's so frustrating", Lyserg almost growled while wiping away the tears."To not know", he finished the sentence and Yoh blinked before he softened.
"Hey, don't worry about it", he said with a smile."It'll come to you someday."
"I hope so", Lyserg agreed, still not looking at Yoh.
"By the way, how did you get your clothes?" Yoh curiously asked while pointing at Lyserg's hoodie and shorts that was laying at the foot of Yoh's bed.
"I got them from a lady who was walking in the woods", Lyserg shrugged his shoulders. Yoh quietly nodded and silence crept into the room again. Then, without any warning the door flung open. Lyserg quickly reacted and sat on all fours in defense-position next to Yoh who looked at the people by the door with wide eyes.
"Guys! You scared the hell out of us!" Yoh almost screamed in surprise as Ren and Manta walked into the room, led by Horohoro.
"Eh, chill down", the ainu smiled."Take a snack!" The next second both Lyserg and Yoh held some candy in their hands."And you don't have to be so on guard all the time wolf-boy." Lyserg quietly growled at the comment but shrugged it off and sniffed at the candy.
"It's just some chocolate, it won't kill you", Yoh smiled next to the British boy. Lyserg gazed hesitantly at the chocolatebar before looking at Yoh again.
"Just eat it", he laughed and took a chew of his own chocolate.
"Later", Lyserg said and put it in his pocket before looking out through the window again. Shortly after someone knocked at the door and it opened, showing the girls.
"You at least knock", Yoh commented quietly to himself.
"Wasn't you guys supposed to pick us up 15 minutes ago?!" Anna asked the boys in the room, all of them looking at each other, all of them had forgotten that they were supposed to pick the girls up for dinner, well, everyone except for Lyserg who was at "home".
"We kinda forgot to do it...", Horohoro said and scratched the back of his head while looking away from Anna's deathglare.
"Lets just go and eat, I'm starving", Pirika sighed.
"What shall we do tomorrow?" Yoh asked everyone on their way back to the hotel.
"I don't know, maybe we can visit Hyde Park or something?" Manta suggested. Everyone looked at each other and nodded, it was a great plan.
A little sound could be heared from an alleyway and Lyserg directly searched for the source for the sound.
"Lyserg?" Horohoro asked but Lyserg held up a hand to quiet him down while listening. Soon enough a little collie-pup carefully pattered out from the shadows. Lyserg sat down with a smile on his face, the little pup was more than familiar to him.
"Hi kid", he smiled and reached out his hand. The little pup wagged it's tail when recognizing Lyserg. The British boy picked the puppy up while looking into the brown, happy eyes.
"Aaw, poor thing", Tamao said while crouching down as well with her bubblemint-eyes on the pup.
"Is it really smart to touch it?" Ren asked while peeking over Lyserg's shoulder.
"Yeah, don't worry about it", Lyserg smiled before paying his little friend attention again."Where's the others?" he asked while looking into the alleyway, eyes searching for any movement.
"Others?" Yoh asked.
"Mm-huh", Lyserg nodded when his eyes met a pair that was very similar to Yoh's. He smiled at the barely visible shape of a teen in the shadows, trying to tell Hao with his eyes to stop hiding.
The British boy put down the puppy who pattered to Tamao, directly getting attention from Pirika, Manta and Faust as well.
"You don't have to hide", Lyserg said to the figure in the darkness.
"How do I know I can trust them?" Hao asked. The others behind Lyserg quickly looked away from the little pup into the alleyway.
"It's something there!" Horohoro stated.
"You don't say?" Ren sweat-dropped.
"Come on, they're my friends", Lyserg said to Hao but quickly lost eye-contact as someone put a hand on his shoulder. He looked at Yoh who looked into the shadows.
"You know what's there, right?" he asked and Lyserg nodded with a smile.
"Come on", the British boy smiled to Hao who finally left his hiding place and came out from the shadows.
"It's the catboy!" Horohoro and Chocolove screamed before jumping on Hao, probably in a try to "catch" him.
"No, don't!" Lyserg quickly reacted and stopped Chocolove. But before Horohoro managed to even touch Hao a hissing blur of black flew on him.
"Don't touch him with your dirty paws!" the black cat hissed as Horohoro managed to throw the cat of him. Lyserg quickly reacted and caught her.
"Got ya", he smiled at Luna."Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine", she replied before continuing to hiss at Horohoro who had some scratchmarkings in his face."You've got yourself to blame."
Luna then jumped to Hao's shoulder, hissing protectively to anyone who dared to get close.
"Is this what you call friends?" Hao asked with narrowed eyes at Lyserg who held up his hands in front himself.
"I'm very, very sorry, some of them are kinda... stupid... sometimes", Lyserg apologized while muttering the word "stupid" so the others wouldn't understand.
"Wow, you do really look like me", Yoh suddenly said and took a step closer to the very familiar boy. Luna started hissing but Hao quieted her down before studying the other boy all over.
"What's your name?" Hao asked.
"Yoh", Yoh replied."And you?"
"Hao."
"Wait a second, Lyserg, do you know him?" Faust suddenly asked, getting everyone's attention.
"Mm-huh", Lyserg nodded and all the others dropped their jaws.
"Since when?!" the asked.
"Since earlier today", Lyserg simply answered. Most of the others groaned in an annoyed tone before Yoh payed Hao attention again.
"Well then, now since we know each other you can be our friend!" he said with a big smile. Hao only blinked and tilted his head, frowning.
"Why?" he asked.
"Because it's good with friends!" Yoh cheerfully answered.
"They're kinda stupid at times but it'll be fun", Lyserg smiled and Hao chuckled along with Luna who started laughing.
"What are you talking about?" the puppy asked down from the ground at Lyserg's feet.
"Nothing special" he smiled.
"What did you just tell him?" Horohoro asked while pointing at Hao who was still smiling.
"Nothing special", Lyserg said with a smile.
"Okay, then we pick you up tomorrow", Yoh smiled at the gang's newest friend at the entrance to the hotel. The sun was setting down and the air was chilling down.
"Sure", Hao smiled and waved the others goodbye with a smile before leaving down the street.
Lyserg couldn't help but smile, his plan had succeeded, he gotten Hao to be their friend. Hao had been offered a bed for the night but he had thanked no, he had to watch over the pup which was named Akichi. The next day the gang was supposed to pick Hao up along the way to Hyde Park.
The gang made their way up to their rooms where they all went to sleep.
Lyserg faced the wall while trying to sleep in the bed he shared with Yoh, but couldn't, not when he was laying back-to-back with the other very kind and attractive boy.
After what Lyserg guessed was half an hour later both Manta and Ren quietly snored.
"Lyserg? You're awake, right?" Lyserg's whole body froze in surprise, he thought that Yoh was asleep.
"Yeah..?", the British boy quietly breathed. He could feel how Yoh was turning around in the bed to face him. The younger boy immediately blushed not really wanting to turn around, but forced himself to do it anyway.
"Are you alright?" Yoh asked."You're all red in your face", he stated and placed his hand on Lyserg's forehead. The younger boy almost died, he started to blush even more and his heart started to beat really fast.
'D-don't touch me!' he thought and closed his eyes.
"Lyserg?" Yoh asked."Don't tell me you're sick."
"I-I-Im f-fine...", Lyserg stuttered, not knowing how to handle the situation, so he turned around in bed again, leaving Yoh with a questionmark above his head.
"Anyways, great work you did today", the older boy praised Lyserg.
"T-thanks..." Lyserg thanked quietly while blushing worse than ever, unable to sleep for hours.
