"get back here!" said the cop chasing down bean and bark. Once again the duo where stealing money from the bank, getting chased down by the law.

Bean pulled out a bomb and threw it back at the cops. This wasn't any ordinary bomb though, but a smoke bomb.

"dang, we lost them." Said the cop after the dust cleared.

"that was close." Said bark.

"tell me about it, I hope the boss is pleased with our work."

The duo headed into the woods where there boss waited for them.

"got the money."

"yeah."

"good." there boss said. Their bosses face was covered by a newspaper that had the freedom fighters in it.

"who's this kid." she said, pointing at the picture of tails.

"oh, that's tails." said bean, "or as I call him, propeller butt."

"I feel like I've seen him before, but that might just be me. Come on guys, let's go pay the kid a visit."

"you sure boss, I mean this is the freedom fighters were talking about..." said bark.

"which is why I've got a plan to make sure we get him all to ourselves...I have a way with men, and something about this kid tells me he's easy to manipulate."

Back at freedom fighters HQ tails was still a bit bent out of shape because of what happen with him and shadow. Ellie tried cheering him up.

"come on tails cheer up. It wasn't you're fault. That mean old shadow and whorish bat caught us off guard."

Tails just sighed.

"look, when life gives you lemons, what do you do?"

Tails just sighed once more.

"want a hug?"

Tails hugged Ellie. He wasn't usually one to hug anyone, but in a situation like this he couldn't help it. He wanted to believe it wasn't his fault over the whole incident, but it was him who gave up the emeralds.

"if I could go back, I would have stayed my ground. Then again, I don't want Nicole to get hurt." He thought. Tails cared about Nicole a lot. She was a great person and even as a computer AI would consider her as a person.

Ellie went inside for a bit.

"how's he doing?" said sonic.

"he's still a bit upset, but I'm sure he'll get over it...hopefully."

"well, I'm glad nobodies blaming tails." said Nicole.

"why would we..." said sonic.

"just making sure. Besides, as much as I hate to admit it shadow and his friends caught us off guard." She said.

"that's true, and he didn't waste any time either..." sonic said. Usually shadow and sonic would duke it out for a while till both were about to collapse, this time around, Shadow wasted no time...

"there he is..." said bark.

"hey tails!" said bean though the bushes.

Tails looked up. Bean held up a bag of money like it was a trophy.

"look what I stole!"

He then ran off, with tails going after him.

"maybe capturing this guy will give me some redemption." He though. He flew after bean, only to be knocked out by bark, who came out of nowhere.

"well, well, tails. you look cuter then in the pictures..." tails eyes widen. He could have sworn he had heard that voice before by someone, someone he liked.

"where have I heard that voice before."

Tails didn't have to wait long for the answer. There standing over him was Fiona fox, wearing he now well-known yellow bow tie in hair, black tank top shirt and black pants, with her black boots.

"f-fiona..." he blurted out.
