A/N: School starts in two weeks :(

There were no words to described how shocked I was. Me. A daughter of Aphrodite. This had to be some kind of joke.

After my, like, pink glowy thing some kids led me to the Aphrodite Cabin. A girl approached me, and it was no wonder she was a daughter of Aphrodite, she was gorgeous.

"Hi, I"m Silena Beauregard, I'm the Head Counseler for Aphrodite's Cabin." She smiled at me. "Welcome."

"Uh, hi. I think there's been a mistake, there's no way that the goddess of love and beauty is my mother."

"Aphrodite wouldn't make a mistake," she said. I frowned a little. Silena showed me around the cabin and to my bunk, unlike Hermes cabin, I got to sleep in an actual bed. "I'm sure you'll fit in here, good night!"

"Yeah, night." I placed my sword under my bunk and fell asleep quickly.

The summer days went on and no one had heard anything from Percy or Annabeth or Grover. Me and Tanith stayed friends even though we couldn't eat at the same table anymore. Luke hung out with us for while, but he started to get distant and stopped talking to us. Which we thought was wierd.

"Only a day until the summer solstice." I said to Tanith

"So?" she responded. We were sitting by the lake, watching the view before dinner.

"We still haven't heard anything about Percy and them, their deadline is tommorrow."

"Oh. Are you friends with Percy?"

"Yeah, I guess so."

"Okay."

The conversation stopped and the signal for dinner sounded. We walked together to the dinner pavilion before sitting at our separate tables.

I didn't really have friends in the Aphrodite cabin. Nobody disliked me, but I just wasn't very social with them, or into the things they were (although they all thought my pink milk was some sign that I belonged there).

I was honestly so bored at camp and had nothing to do during free time. Sometimes I would talk with Tanith or practice sword fighting techniques with her, which is so un-Aphrodite of me. But when she doing something with the Hermes cabin I would lie around the Aphrodite cabin. All the other girls would put on make up or create new outfits, and the guys would mess around with their hair, I just sat there. Doing nothing.

Sometimes after curfew I would sneak out to the lake and just relax before a Harpy would notice me. I felt so freakin' rebellious.

The next day was like all the others, except I was anxious to learn about what Percy was doing. I wondered if they were still alive, or maybe the gods had already decided they were worthless.

It was free time and I headed back to the Aphrodite cabin. Some of the girls were giggling and whispering and so I went to see what they were doing.

Somehow they had procured some hair dye and were adding colorful streaks into their hair.

"Lexi, do you want to do some of your hair?" Someone asked. I bit my lip, thinking about it.

"Sure," I complied, sitting down in a chair and pointed at the color I wanted in my hair.

An hour later, my blonde hair smelt kind of bad, but it had a few streaks of blue pink, and purple. I like it; it was change I felt I needed. I walked into the dinner pavilion, my newly colored hair in curls, (courtesy of one of my sisters) and sat done at the Aphrodite table.

I felt a bit more in place with my siblings, almost like I had just joined some cult. People complimented me on my hair, and my pink milk, and I started chatting with them, casually. It was nice to feel like I belonged for once.

Later, I noticed Luke was gone. He wasn't at dinner and he wasn't at the bonfire.

"Tanith, where did Luke go?" I asked.

"I don't know, I haven't seen him since breakfast." She responded. Maybe he was sent on a quest? Without anyone knowing? It was definitely strange.

We had a camp sing-a-long, just a run through of our usual songs. The bonfire had a bit of a green tinge to it; it reflected the feelings of the campers. Afterward, Chiron said it was time for lights out and we all headed to our cabins. I was in the middle of the Aphrodite crowd as we all shuffle along to Cabin 10.

I lay awake in my bunk bed, even though I knew a night of no sleep would do me no good. I kept wondering where Luke was. Where Percy was. What was going to happen with the Lightning Bolt? Somehow, I felt as though I was the only person in camp that cared. Wasn't some like disaster war going to happen if it wasn't returned? And nobody was worried!

I looked at the clock on the stand next to my bed.

It read: 11:59

I really should get to sleep, I thought. Even as I closed my eyes, I couldn't stop the questions from forming. I tried counting sheep and eventually I fell into a deep sleep.

I woke up late the next morning and almost missed breakfast. I was surprised none of my siblings woke me up. I hurried and slipped on a pair of jeans and an orange Camp Half-Blood t-shirt. I tried to multitask by brushing my hair and teeth at the same time. It sort of worked. I did some wierd half run half walk to the pavilion and took a seat next my siblings at the Aphrodite table. I looked over at the Herme's table and saw Luke there, it was as if he never even disappeared.

"Why didn't anyone wake me up?" I asked, a little bit annoyed.

"We thought you should have your beauty sleep," a girl named Trish said. She was, like, an ideal Aphrodite child. She had brown hair pulled up into a messy bun, which somehow looked perfect, bright blue eyes and pink, full lips.

I did my best not to roll my eyes. "Whatever."

I got some pink water this morning instead of pink milk. It was probably unhealthy for me to be drinking milk like every day anyways, so I thought pink water might replace.

It just wasn't the same, though.

I went through the whole day, focused on whatever activity I had. I completely forgot about Percy's Quest and Luke's time away. I didn't even remember their existence until I saw Percy, Annabeth, and Grover come through the camp entrance.

"Oh my freakin' gods, PERCY!" I ran up to them. "You guys are alive!"

"Yeah," he said enthusiastically. "You dyed your hair."

"Just a bit."

That night was the biggest celebration ever. Two of the three heroes burned their individual shrouds (which I learned were going to be their burial shrouds had they died.). Annabeth's was a gray silk with embroidered owls. Percy's was made by the Ares cabin, so it was made with an old bed sheet with painted on smiley face that had X'ed out eyes. There was also the word 'LOSER' painted really big in the middle.

We had a loud sing-along, lead by the Apollo cabin. I was laughing with Percy and Annabeth, with the Athena cabin and Hermes' cabin. The night was spent laughing and full of happiness. I forgot about all my worries.

The summer was ending and I was going home. I had all my things packed up and ready to go. Unlike my siblings, who had bright pink gucci bags, I had a plain, small bag filled with a few of the clothes I procured of the summer, along with Zaros and a small make-up bag I received upon arriving to the Cabin Ten.

My dad was going to be here any second and I had to be ready to leave. Then I saw Percy and Luke walking by, I thought I should say goodbye to them before I left. I followed them, and was about to interrupt their conversation. Then I heard:

"Luke what-" Percy paused. "You."

Luke brushed off his shoulder.

"I saw a lot out there in the world, Percy," Luke said. "Didn't you feel it- the darkness gathering, the monsters growing stronger? Didn't you realize how useless it all is? All the heroics- being pawns of the gods. They should've been overthrown thousands of years ago, but they've hung on, thanks to us half-bloods."

Wait what.

"Luke... you're talking about our parents," Percy said. Luke laughed.

"That's supposed to make me love them? Their precious 'Western civilization' is a disease, Percy. It's killing the world. The only way to stop it is to burn it to the ground, start over with something more honest."

"You're as crazy as Ares."

"Ares is a fool. He never realized the true master he was serving. If I had time, Percy, I could explain. But I'm afraid you won't live that long."

That's when I saw the scorpion on Percy's leg. I was willing to bet it was poisonous.

"Kronos." Percy said. "That's who you serve."

The air got colder. "You should be careful with names," Luke warned. I couldn't believe this was happening. It was so unreal.

"Kronos got you to steal the master bolt and the helm. He spoke to you in your dreams."

Luke's eye twitched. "He spoke to you, too, Percy. You should've listened."

"He's brainwashing you, Luke."

"You're wrong. He showed me that my talents are being wasted. You know what my quest was two years ago, Percy? My father, Hermes, wanted me to steal a golden apple from the Garden of the Hesperides and return it to Olympus. After all the training I'd done, that was the best he could think up."

I thought I was going to be sick. I backed up a bit, and fell on the ground. I blinked a few times and even pinched myself to make sure this was really happening. Luke worked for Kronos? Well, uh.

PLOT TWIST.

I took a deep breath. Should I intervene? Probably. Was I going to? No way, I was too shaky to even hold up Zaros. I crawled back to where I could hear them.

"Goodbye, Percy. There is a new Golden Age coming, and you won't be apart of it." Luke dissappeared some dark mist thing and the scorpion attacked Percy.

"NO!" I yelled. He slashed his sword and split it in half. But I saw a red welt on his hand. He looked up at me.

"Help..." He murmured. I started to drag him, and two water nymphs helped me once I reached the trees. Conches blew, counselers yelled. And I left camp as soon as Percy was in the Big House.

Bye, bye Camp Half-Blood.

A/N: End of Lightning theif! I'm going to continue the story of Lexi in this book and not create a new one cause I'm kinda lazy. And there are only seven chapters. Next chappie will take place in Sea of Monsters!
