Hello everyone! I am Sir Velvteen. I'm here now to share two things for those interested, if not please continue to the next page to begin reading.

Firstly, this story is rated M for Mature for a few reasons. Included in these reasons but not limited to are strong language, violence, sexual themes: this is not a fluffy 'lemon-prono' but holds certain descriptions and acts that some people are uncomfortable with. There will also be topics of depression and more sensitive subjects like suicide. Please be aware I will not be giving trigger warnings at the start of chapters as some stories do. This is your warning. On this topic: Suicide is never the answer. Outlive your enemies.

Secondly, I did not choose any specific Batman universe to write with. Being posted in the "Movies" category it can be assumed I am following along with the Nolan universe timeline; and I will be for the better part as I enjoyed its more modern setting the most for this piece. For information that needs to be filled in; the things Nolan's movies never really tell, I will be drawing from various Batman sources including the other movies, comics and the animated series to create a believable world.

I hope this has answered all those burning questions that may come up. And I hope you enjoy the story spun my dearest reader.
