Sonic was falling, fast. He quickly reached and grabbed for his board, getting on it just at the last second and riding it once more.

"that was close, now to take care of jet!" said sonic.

"and figure out what tails are doing on the island." Said sonic, who couldn't help but feel somewhat disappointed in tails. He knew tails was upset about not going on the mission, but and order was an order, he just wanted tails to be safe.

"back again are we hedgehog!" said jet.

"release my friend!" said sonic.

"and give me back my island!" said knuckles, trying to attack jet, but missing.

Storm ran into knuckles and knocked him down onto the island. Knuckles got up and punched the big guy in the stomach, but predator was there to kick him down. Espio assaulted him from behind, but wave tackled him. Victor tried to get a punch in but wave grabbed his arm and flipped him.

"don't you know you shouldn't hit a girl?" she asked. Sonic finally had enough, he wanted to get rid of the riders and then untie tails to ask him what he was doing there.

"time to make a mad dash for the emerald." Said sonic. Sonic ran to the emerald and touched it, gaining the power within it.

"shit he's turning super!" said jet. "get him!" said predator. It was too late though, just as all 4 members dog piled sonic, he blasted them off of him.

"alright sonic!" said knuckles.

"so what if he's super, that still doesn't mean we can't defeat him!" said predator.

"you crazy! I'm getting out of here!" said wave.

"fine, leave, I'll take this guy on myself!" Predator instantly regretted it when he got blasted off the island by one of sonic's electro balls he tossed straight at predator.

"that's new." Said sonic. Silver came down from a genesis portal and saw this. He quickly grew into panic.

"oh no it's happening." as the babylon's left, sonic changed back into his normal self.

"AND DON'T YOU DARE COME BACK TO THIS ISLAND EITHER YOU HEAR!" said knuckles.

"now to wake up tails."

"sonic."

"oh hey silver." Said sonic, greeting the silver hedgehog.

"glad to see you're back to normal, we need to talk back at HQ."

"ok, but 1st, let's have a chat with tails." Sonic woke up tails, who woke up confused to what was going on.

"hey guys...what am I doing here?" said tails.

"that's' what I want to know. Tails, I know you were disappointed that you didn't get to be a part of this mission, but did you have to sneak out like that. With signs of the anti-mobions coming back this isn't exactly the time to do this." Sonic said with his arms crossed.

"sonic I don't know how I got here, I swear!" said tails.

He wanted to tell the truth but he knew sonic wouldn't believe that, and things were looking bad for him enough already.

"tails, just tell me the truth." Said sonic.

"all right, a dark figure took me here." "a dark figure?" said sonic.

"yeah, it had a gas mask with red eyes and a black cape." Said tails. "

uh tails, I think your nose is growing." Said Espio.

"espio come on, I'm telling the truth."

"tails we want to believe you but a black masked creature? that's like saying the reason why victor can't get with vanilla because-" Victor covered espio's mouth.

"what he meant to say was tails are you feeling alright. It seems awfully weird and unlike you to make up such a story."

"now's your chance..." said iron, and her boss, watching up from above.

"indeed it is. Hit him with the fever and knock out ray. I don't want him to be on to his powers just yet..."

"very well." Iron set them up and aimed them at tails. the invisible rays hit tails.

"yeah...I'm...feeling...fi-" before tails knew it, he was asleep. Sonic felt his forehead, it was warm...very warm.

"he's got a fever."

"well that answers some questions. He must of snuck out, then while trying to fight the babylon's got a fever." Said Espio.

"come on, let's take him back to HQ." said sonic, picking up tails and carrying him.

"what dimension is he heading to? Asked iron.

"interesting...he's heading to the tribe dimension. Follow him there, and keep track on his progress, just make sure you're not seen."

"yes sir." Said iron.

"just in case you are though...blend in."

"good idea." Said iron. It was better safe than sorry for her, and she didn't want to fail her boss, especially since she wanted revenge on Nicole and the freedom fighters.

"do what he says iron, it will all pay off when you control their city and cause havoc once more..." she told herself.
