Storm and lightning walked thought the forest, trying to find some place that they could call home or base or something. Before this, they've been doing nothing but stay sleep under trees.

"we have to find some place..." said storm.

"I know, I know." Said lightning. From the tree Fiona fox was watching, looking down at the two. " I think it's time to show myself." Fiona dropped down, shocking the two.

"Fiona..." said lightning.

"long time no see, huh?"

"sadly..." said storm.

"and what's that supposed to mean?" said Fiona, putting her hand on her hips. "let's just say I'm not happy about what you guys did to me, destroying my clan."

At 1st fiona and lightning didn't know what she was talking about, but then they recalled. Back when the destructix's were together, the gang attacked and took down storm's clan.

"forgot about that..." said Fiona.

"well I sure didn't." storm responded with her arms crossed.

"look, can't we just leave it in the old world?" Fiona said shrugging her shoulders.

"in the old world?" she said..."the reason why I have no clan is because of the old world! Do you see any of my lynx ninja's anywhere?" Fiona and lightning looked around. None of the ninja's where in sight.

"well look, I'm sorry you're ninja's are gone, but I came here to try to convince lightning here to join the new submission squad/distructix's. after all, aren't you the same conquering storm that banned lightning from the clan?" Lightning's eyes lit up, and the painful memories of what happens that day came back to him.

"oh come on lightning that was a long time ago you're not really still-"

"I LOVED YOU! I WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR YOU AND YOU KICKED ME OUT!" lightning said pointing his finger at her.

"exactly!" Fiona fox said.

"trust me lightning, it's not worth it, come on, you can just go with me and the distructix's, you're better off that way." The two walked away, leaving storm angry. She walked the other way, clenching her fist.

"she will pay..." she said to herself. Storm sat under a tree, still mad and pissed that she was in the situation she was in.

"hello..." said iron.

"hey iron." Said storm, still looking pissed. Iron and storm had worked together with each other briefly in the past, but not that much. Storm saw her as an ally however, mainly because she trusted lynx more than any other creature.

"I think I have a solution to your problem." She said. She pulled out a scroll and showed it to her. Storm looked over it.

"the one with 2 tails is the one who holds the key to the other worlds..."

"I know this is going to sound hard to believe, but the one the scroll talks about is miles tails prower, the same one who just happens to be sonic's side kick." She said.

"this scroll does seem promising..."

"according to my boss, it holds ground. He claims that some of the events that these prophesies claim are coming true."

"very well, and you said tails can go into other worlds?"

"yes, he has yet to do so, he hasn't discovered it."

"well, I'm afraid I'm going to have to change that." Storm said, standing up.

"sorry if this is interfering with any plans but I need to get my clan back. I'm at an all time low right now as you can see, and I won't stand for it for much longer!"

"all right, do what you have to do, just be careful no one else finds out about this. A lot of people will be after tails, whether it's to use him for teleportation or to go from universe to universe, world to world, here to there, you get the idea."

"where do I find this fox?" "most likely at freedom fighters HQ, I can give you a digital map there if you want me to."

"that would be greatly appreciated." She said. Back at his workshop, tails was about to get some rest. He had had a long day, trying to fix some stuff up and help out the team. He couldn't help but think of the dream though, it still would stick out at him every now and then.

"it was just a fever dream tails, no matter how real it felt." He said.

Storm had found his workshop, and snuck inside. With her smooth moves she had taken tails out of bed, tied him up, and carried him all the way to the woods some distance away from HQ, without waking him up. Morning came, and tails awoke, but was quickly shocked at the fact he was tied up and in the woods.

"sorry for the rude awakening tails, but I need something from you..." storm said approaching tails.

"what am I getting myself into now?" tails thought.

The shadow monsters may come part 2

What looked to be an outline of a hedgehog stood before lara-su, who was scared and shocked.

"who are you!" she said.

The creature didn't respond, just simply blasted through her. The shadow monster went out the window, while lara held her stomach. She wasn't in pain, but was shocked by the creature doing that. An feeling of coldness filled her stomach. The shadow creature flew out the window and continued it's rampage with the other creatures.

"lara are you alright!" said the butler.

"yeah, I'm fine, what was that?" she asked.

"it's those damn shadow monsters. They've been raising hell in this zone for as long as Ellie has been in charge. We've been trying to get rid of them with light, but there's not much around here other than inside. Sorry we haven't told you about them."

"it's ok. I take it you heard my close encounter with the creature?"

"that is why I came in."

"you have any flashlights? I'm gonna try to fend those things off."

"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to do so, but please be careful lara, we don't want anything to happen to you." said the butler. He ran to a closet and gave her a big yellow flashlight.

"simply shine this near or on the shadow creatures and they'll retreat or disappear." Said the butler.

"got it." said lara. She headed outside and shined the light near the creatures, who in response let out a shriek.

"go away you creatures!" said lara. The creatures did so quickly.

"thanks." Said one of the towns people.

"I'm getting real tired of those damn shadow creatures."

"my pleasure." She said. Lara-su headed back to the castle, Ellie thanking her.

"thank you so much. Those things have caused us trouble for a while now."

"where did they come from?"

"we don't know..." said the butler chiming in.

"we've tried finding out about them, but nothing. Not even the freedom fighters know about them." Lara felt dizzy the moment she said that. She started remembering some things.

"freedom...fighters..." she said before falling down.

"you ok?" said the butler. "yeah, I just...feel like I know them from somewhere...some...where..." Lara-su blacked out.

\The butler carried her back to her room and put her in bed. He then stood by checking on her. In lara-su's dream, she was in a green field. A blue hedgehog ran up to her.

"long time no see."

"who are you?" she asked.

"sonic..." the hedgehog said.

"sonic...I, I don't know why, but I think I know you from somewhere..." she said felling dizzy again.

"easy lara..." sonic said, catching her.

"you're memory will come back...just give it time..." he said.

"just know for now...we miss you..." he said. Everything went black again.

"I miss you too..."
