Gruetly Bay Farm Life
Season one Episode one: A Dog's New Home Part One
As the story began, a well populated and lively city was shown in a big shot; revealing all kinds of lovely sights like people chatting, kids playing, and families eating in the local restaurants. This wasn't just any city however. This was the capital of England: London. This city was full of life, and had a lot of friendly faces, despite also having a couple greedy ones. One of which is a force who our main characters barely escaped from. But let's not focus on that right now. Instead, let's take a look at who our main characters are and what they're like.
Just then, a Dalmatian puppy with black ears and a horseshoe spot on his back, was riding on a skateboard and zipped past some of the people of London, much to their surprise. He was laughing in a carefree manner and found it more than easy to avoid hitting anyone, jumping onto an empty bench and grinding off of it before doing a kick-flip off of it. As he continued strolling down, he arrived at the park, and all of the kids and animals there took notice to him, as well as some of the adults. This Dalmatian, is none other than our main character; Lucky Dearly.
Lucky, a seven year old Dalmatian puppy, was an adventurous rebel, who lived for excitement and was always ready to show when he was capable of something that interested him. He was not only the leader of his group of friends, but he was also loyal to all those he cared about, and never left them in the sight of danger alone. That said, he was also cocky and reckless, sometimes failing to think things through and putting himself in danger, and could also be bratty in some scenarios. And his cockiness was more than noticeable as he started narrating for himself while skating through the park.
"Here he is folks; the awesome Dalmatian puppy Lucky Dearly, skating through the park at undoubtedly awesome speeds that many can only dream of reaching!" Lucky's narration bragging was starting to get on the nerves of some of the adults, but the kids all cheered him on as he continued to narrate for himself. "Lucky Dearly is knwon for amazing accomplishments such as saving his ninety eight siblings from Cruella, being a skateboarding champion, and having a Thunderbolt signature on his butt, which was already the hottest butt in the world! What an icon folks; let's give it here for the boy!"
The kids continued to cheer Lucky on as he left the park, hitting the street light button just in time and skating across the street to his house. He also took the time to wolf whistle while riding his skateboard on his back and passing by some cute girl dogs. As he skated down the road, another Dalmatian, this one having a large, black patch over his right eye, was walking by licking what looked like a chocolate ice cream cone (And no, chocolate doesn't kill dogs in this universe). As he was enjoying his cone, he noticed Lucky skating on over to him and was excited upon the sight as he happily exclaimed his name. "Hey Lucky!"
"Hey Patch!" Lucky hopped off of his board and waved to Patch casually with both of them on four paws. He walked over to him with a confident grin as Patch ran over, and the two started their signature handshake. This handshake started with a hi five with their right paws, and then their left paws, which then led to a high five, down low combination with both of them, and then the two bumped butts and clinged their tails together as they then gave a fist bump. This goes without saying, but Lucky and Patch since birth, have been the very best of friends.
Patch was a bubbly and optimistic young Dalmatian puppy, often being the one who tried to find a bright spot in everything, even when no one else saw one. He was also the innocent and niave one of Lucky's group, but that didn't stop him from being a worthy member of Lucky's friend group. He also considered himself Lucky's right hand, due to how close they were and how good of a leader Lucky was. "I can tell that your morning skate through the park was awesome!"
"Not as awesome as me, but you're right." Lucky responded, leaving Patch to roll his eyes while smiling as Lucky started talking about how great city life was when they went on to go inside their home, which was a condo on the block they were on. "Isn't this the life Patch? London has everything. Excitement, adventure, friendly faces-"
As Lucky and Patch were about to enter however, they heard someone shouting for help nearby. "Help! Someone help me!"
"Nanny!"
After having looked at each other and announced who they heard in sync, Lucky and Patch ran over to where they heard Nanny's voice. She was currently dealing with a mugger, who was trying to snatch her purse from her, and she wasn't having it. "You let go right now you brute!" Despite having called for help, Nanny wasn't about to back down. The mugger overpowered her however and got the purse, causing her to fall down and call for help again. "Help! That manic stole my purse!"
Lucky and Patch looked around and saw that there weren't any nearby cops. Thanks to Lucky's quick thinking, he got the idea to take his skateboard out and use it to make the criminal trip on it. This succeeded in getting the criminal on his back, and although it sent Lucky's skateboard into a tree, Lucky got onto the burgaler and spoke up. "Drop the purse dude. You don't wanna mess with my family."
The mugger laughed due to Lucky's side, but Lucky then proved why that was a mistake as he got in the mugger's face and growled. This led to Nanny arriving and taking her purse back, and the mugger ran off as Lucky got off after seeing he was outmatched. Nanny was grateful for the help and took the time to kneel down to Lucky and pet him as Patch got his board. "Oh, thank you Lucky. I don't know what I'd do without you or your family in my life."
"Feeling's mutual Nanny." Lucky replied happily, and the he spoke confidently as he walked home with Patch and Nanny. "Glad I stepped in too. Someone's gotta take a bit out of crime. (Patch hands Lucky his board) Thanks Patch." Patch gave a cheerful salute to Lucky in response. Also, before you ask, yes; the humans can understand the animals in this universe.
Lucky was now inside his house with Patch and their ninety seven other siblings, two of whom were currently eating lunch with them. One of them was Two-tone, who was praising Lucky for his brave act from earlier today. "I wish I could've seen you in action Lucky. It's always a pleasure to see criminals get their just deserts." Two-tone was the sweet and mature member of Lucky's group of friends, and the only female member of the group. She was also the creative one of the group, and was ready to prove it whenever she chose to participate in a live event. She also had a unique design, where she shared Lucky's black ears, but her top half was completely white, and her bottom half was completely black.
Lucky was more than happy to take the compliment, and gave a smug grin as he responded. "I couldn't agree more Two-tone. And it's even more stylish when it's done from yours truly."
"If simply rolling your board out onto someone's path to make them trip can classify as 'stylish'." The obese Dalmatian sitting next to Two-tone replied. This was Rolly, who was the glutton of the group, which was obvious by how much he was eating in his bowl, but he was also poetic and often had a unique word for any situation. "It seems more as if you simply stopped him with a comedic gag and then showed him who was boss."
The others couldn't help but laugh a bit at Rolly's poetic explanation of what happened. Lucky was quick to start speaking about how much he loved London after that. "I'm tellin' ya guys. Despite what we've been through in this city with Cruella and all that, I think I speak for the whole family when I saw I wouldn't wanna live anywhere else!"
Lucky was soon proven wrong however, as the puppies soon heard their owner, Roger, come in and start ranting about all of the crime that's happening in London. "Pollution, and crowds, and now Nanny getting mugged!" He was then revealed to be speaking to his wife Anita, who was sitting on the couch reading a book as Roger sat down next to her as he sighed. "What's happened to this city?" However, he accidentally sat on some of the puppies and got up to pick them up. "We need more room for the puppies Anita, and more fresh air for us.
Pongo, the father of the puppies, was relaxing with the mother of the puppies, Perdita, as he jokingly commented on what Roger was venting about. "Don't take this the wrong way Roger boy, but I think we adults are to blame for that last one."
"It was worth it Pongo." Roger happily replied to his dog, and then he sat down next to Anita after setting the puppies down with a question in mind. "When are we going to buy that place in the country we're always talking about?"
"Funny you should mention it." Anita chimed in, looking at Perdita "Perdy?", who then went over to a yellow envelope, picking it up and taking it over to Anita.
Anita then handed the letter to Roger, who wondered what it was. "What's this?" He then opened it up, and with Lucky and his friends shown to be observing, it was revealed to be a picture of a yellow house with two stories, and had the location of a farm, much to Roger's joy. "This is perfect!"
Anita then started talking about who owned the farm. "It's owned by a lovely widow; over twenty acres, there are cows, and chickens, even other dogs!"
"I saw we make an offer!"
Lucky and his friends, as well as some of the other puppies, were shocked by this, and Lucky then decided to step up, walking over to the adults as he made his retort; one that specifically targeted how convinient this was. "Okay, back up a little. Some old lady with a dead husband just offered you a house?"
"Lucky!" Perdita spoke up, instantly telling Lucky off for his disrespectful words towards the widow. "That's no way to speak of people you don't know! Honestly; if I didn't love you and your siblings more than anything I would've washed your mouth out with soap for that alone."
Lucky gave a deadpan look before he darted his eyes towards the audience to comment on the situation. "Well at least she's honest."
Anita, deciding to focus on the home for now, assured Lucky that it wasn't so out of the blue. "Actually Lucky, believe it or not, I've been speaking to her about this offer for weeks." She then focused her attention to Roger, knowing that this would be worth it. "I know the puppies love it here, but I'm sure they'll grow to love it there. (Puts her hand on Roger's) I've decided we should do it."
Lucky scoffed as he walked back over to his friends as Roger spoke up to everyone else. "Did everyone hear that? We are moving to the country!"
Some of the dogs were rather excited, but some were nervous, and others weren't on board. Lucky was part of the last one, while Patch made it clear that he was trying to find the good in all this. "Maybe Anita's right. We'd have a lot more room to do the things we love out in the open field."
"We still can't move away Patch!" Rolly exclaimed, clearly being on the nervousness side of the spectrum. "I know every deli item in town by heart!"
Two-tone, who was also nervous, tried to make sure the others were as calm as she was. "Come on guys, don't panic. This may all work out for the better."
"Let me make myself perfectly clear." Lucky spoke bluntly, and as he did, the camera panned closer and closer to his face in between pauses. "We. Are not. Moving."
Lucky was then shown with the same expression in the next shot however, and he was in the back of a bus as somber music played to showcase how much he hated the move. He looked out the back window at the condo as the family left for their new town, and he seemed bitter about it. Patch soon jumped next to him and smiled as he put a paw on his best friend's right shoulder to comfort him. This did make Lucky chuck a smile. He was still upset about the move, but he knew his chances of adjusting would be better if Patch was there with him.
A trail was then shown with the bus going down it as a turn was then made to the path of the Dalmatian family's new home. The bus then took a right turn after it was shown going over a hill and down it, and then the farm was shown. A variety of farm related things like horses, pigs, and even other dogs, were shown as the Dalmatian family drove up to the house. After they parked, Roger opened the door up and let everyone out with the puppies leaving one by one after Pongo and Perdita with the former counting them. "Thirteen, twenty eight, forty six, seventy five..."
Pongo then lost count, but chuckled gleefully a bit as he then went to his wife, knowing that all of the kids were still there. The last four, Lucky, Patch, Two-tone, and Rolly, got a good look around the place with Lucky having his own snarky little comment about the place. "So this is the poor fools land I see. I give it the pilot."
Pongo, not wanting Lucky to think badly of this place too soon, comforted the young Dalmatian as he went to him and his friends. "Don't think like that Lucky. This could be a new opportunity to seek new friends, discover new things you love that you didn't think you would before."
"I could do that anywhere I want." Lucky pointed out, still not liking the idea of the move. "And right now, what I want, is for the widow to have given us Wifi."
Pongo sighed. Lucky was always a challenging one. He knew however, that he would grow to love this place as much as the city. "At least give it a chance Lucky. Perhaps interacting with the locals on the farm will help."
Lucky looked around and shrugged, feeling that he wouldn't win this argument anyway. "Fine." Pongo rubbed his son's head, and then Lucky and his friends walked off with Lucky speaking up. "Alright guys. Look anywhere that intrigues you, and report to... I guess the barn, later."
"Sure thing Lucky!" Patch responded with glee, still taking a sense of optimism with the move, and hoping to make Lucky feel better about it like he did on the way over here.
"I'll try to find something for all of us to have fun with." Two-tone spoke up thoughtfully, knowing that a group hobby could be what the four puppies needed.
"The chance for such a hobby will hopefully be high." Rolly chimed in, hoping that the farm inspection the group was doing would go well.
And with that, the group went their own ways to find something on the farm that could keep their attention. Lucky looked around for someone fun to interact with on the farm, since he knew that his list of friends was always ready to rise. He spotted a Sheepdog who looked to be about his age, just walking around and looking scruffy. He then knocked over a trash can that was nearby, laughing as he walked away from it. Lucky felt it was worth a shot, and walked over to the Sheepdog with a friendly greeting and smile. "Sup dude? Ya into meeting new canines?"
"Not particularly, no." The Sheepdog responded with annoyance. Lucky could tell he was a rude one, but then again, he couldn't really talk. He'd been rude since he got there. "What's your deal pint-size? You new in Gruetly?"
"Yep. Just moved into the farm you live on." Lucky answered, and then he tried to get to know the Sheepdog better to hopefully make an impact. "So. You watch Thunderbolt?" The Sheepdog raised an eyebrow. "On Tv." The expression didn't change. Lucky was starting to get annoyed himself. "On, cable."
The Sheepdog's response wasn't something that Lucky wanted to hear. "What's cable?"
Lucky was surprised by the answer and gave a deadpan expression with a blunt statement for the Sheepdog. "I think I'm going to die here."
"You get used to it." The Sheepdog assured Lucky, and then he grabbed his chest and pulled him in close with a threatening fist, which caught Lucky off guard. "Just stay out of my way pint-size, or I'll turn you into spotted glue!"
Lucky was unfazed by this threat, and instead gave an irritated look as he clenched his right fist to prepare for battle. "Riiight." It was clear that Lucky wasn't one to let others push him around.
Patch entered the barn for his own search in something on the farm that could interest him. He couldn't really find anything, just some of the animals that lived on the farm. The barn was clearly due for a makeover; especially since it was obvious the dogs would be sleeping in here. He then saw something that caught his attention. It was a female dog; specifically a Border Collie, and she sported a farmer's hat and a red ascot, and she was currently pushing a barrel of hay into the barn. Patch smiled upon seeing another dog and went over to her to say hi. "Hi there."
The Collie finished pushing the hay barrel and then looked at Patch. She took a liking to his friendly smile and posture. "Howdy do, partner?" Patch couldn't help but snicker at how funny that sounded in a British accent. "Yes, I know." The dog then introduced herself to Patch by spitting into her right paw and holding it out. "I'm Bella!"
Patch looked at Bella's paw for a bit and wasn't entirely sure what to do. He spit into his own right paw to be safe, and he shook it, finding the feeling ot it to make him laugh a bit. "This is weird."
"Not sure how many people do this, but I know some do." Bella informed Patch, and then she wiped her forehead from the work she was doing. "So what's your name?"
"Oh, I'm Patch!" Patch happily answered, and then he started talking about how his family had just moved here. "My family and I just moved to the farm here and the friend group I'm a part of is currently getting a look around the place. I'm glad I was able to find a fellow canine so quickly." Bella smiled upon hearing that. She was always glad to see other kids her age having a good day.
Two-tone was heading on over to the left side of the barn in the hopes that she'd find something for herself and her friends to enjoy. When she got there, she spotted an orange Tabby Cat who looked quite familiar to her, and he was hanging up a poster on the wall to the barn. She decided to walk over to her, and when he noticed her coming, she smiled as she addressed him. "I know you. Aren't you the cat who rescued myself and my siblings a couple years ago?"
The Tabby Cat was glad to see someone who remembered that rescue and smiled as he greeted her. "Why hello there. And yes, I am." Tibbs and Two-tone officially shook paws as Tibbs introduced himself. "I'm Tibbs. Sergeant Tibbs." Tibbs then gestured the poster, explaining what it was in case Two-tone was interested. "This might interest young puppies like you. The poster I hung up just now is for the Bark Brigade, which is where Colonel and I, (Gains a look of resentment) along with our Luitenant, (Gives a proud smile) recruit puppies who're interested in becoming peace defenders."
Two-tone did in fact find this to be an interesting activity. She even felt that Lucky would like it himself. "Lucky would love that! He hides it pretty well at first, but he loves helping others." Tibbs was glad to hear that with Two-tone making a word that she knew she could keep. "I'll ask my friends what they think about signing up for this."
"Great! We could really use some new members." Tibbs replied, as he then went into detail as to why. "We haven't had many members since we stared out. Perhaps with how large your family is, many of you would like to join?"
"I probably can't speak for everyone in my family," Two-tone started, and then she said something that helped bring up Tibbs' spirits. "but I think I can guarantee the chance of Lucky joining." Tibbs had to smile upon hearing that. His and Colonel's idea could finally take off! All it took now, hopefully, was time.
Rolly was right outside the barn, and he just got some shocking news from one of the residents; that being a blue grown up pig, who was next to a young looking pink pig. "Sorry kid. There are no restaurants near here. Ya gotta go into Gruetly, the town this farm is built near, to find any; and it's at least five miles away."
"Five miles!?" Rolly exclaimed with fear in his eyes. He couldn't even walk one mile easily, let alone five. "I can't walk that far!"
"It's a struggle for some, I can imagine." The elder pig spoke up, and then he made an offer to Rolly with a smile. "But you're more than welcome to join me and my daughter, Dumpling, for some slop if you're ever hungry."
Dumpling then started eating some of the slop, and when Rolly looked in, he tried his best not to gag. He then politely stated that he would most likely go for other options. "I think I'll pass, if that's okay." Rolly then smiled however. He was glad to know that the residents on the farm were nice. "But thanks for the offer."
Lucky was then shown to be fighting the Sheepdog, who had him pinned against the ground and punched him in the nose, before Lucky hit him with a hard right hook. As Lucky landed his right hook, he called out what would later be proven to be his signature insult. "Butthead!"
Just then, a loud whistle was heard nearby, causing Lucky and the Sheepdog to cover their ears. The whistle was then revealed to be coming from an elderly Sheepdog. Lucky instantly recognized him, and the Sheepdog walked up to him and the Sheepdog as he called out the latter. "Come now Mooch. Is that any way to treat our new home member?"
"Colonel!?" Lucky exclaimed, finding it unbelievable that he met Colonel again. He slid out from under Mooch and smiled as he continued. "This is crazy dude! I haven't seen you or Tibbs in years!"
Colonel was in fact glad to see the Dalmatian family again. He just wished Lucky was making a better first impression. "It's an honor to see you and your family again. Lucky, was it?" Lucky nodded his head yes with a smile as Colonel then expressed dissapointment in the circumstances. "It's just a shame you couldn't make the best first impression to the farm."
Lucky crossed his arms ans scowled as he replied to that remark. "Tch. Well if this jerk didn't have communication issues I would've had a much smoother start."
"You wanna get pummeled some more pint-size!? Don't forget I was winning!" Mooch threatened an unfazed Lucky, and then Mooch raised an eyebrow to the Sheepdog. This caused the Sheepdog to groan as he then walked off in annoyance. "Okay Grandpa; I'm going."
Lucky happily shook Colonel's paw as the latter apologized for his grandson's behavior. "Sorry about my Grandson. I love him, but he's a rowdy one."
"Sounds like at least a fifth of my siblings at best." Lucky joked, being glad to see a familiar face on the farm. At least something was going well today.
Lucky and his friends were now on the top floor to the barn with the adults setting everything up as they discussed their first time there. Patch seemingly had the best time in his individual search, and it was easy to tell why. "And then I offered to show her the first Thunderbolt season after we got out Tv set up."
"It's always nice to find someone who shares a common interest with you." Lucky chimed in, and then he gave a confident grin as he finished his statement. "Just hope she doesn't swoon as soon as she sees me like most other puppies do."
Patch rolled his eyes while smiling as Rolly stated his thoughts on the place so far. "It's less than ideal that we're miles away from restaurants, or humans outside of the family. But at least the ones we can interact with at home are friendly enough to share their food with us, even though I'll most likely only use it if there's no other option. They even took it well when I declined."
"That's a good sign!" Two-tone responded happily. She then spoke about what she found, knowing that Lucky in particular would like it. "I actually met a familiar face here. You remember Tibbs, the cat who saved us from Cruella?" The others paid close attention as Two-tone stated what she learned about Tibbs. "Apparently he's the Sergeant for this thing called the Bark Brigade, where they train puppies like us to be defenders of society!"
Lucky did like the sound of that. He was always up for helping others, even if he hid it as well as he could. "That could be interesting." Lucky then chuckled a bit as he brought up the familiar face he met himself. "Actually, I met another familiar face myself. Colonel!"
The others were amazed to know that both Colonel and Tibbs lived on the farm. Patch expressed his excitement the most as his tail started wagging. "That's great! We'd get to learn the best methods of animal rescue and combat from the heroes who helped our parents save our lives!"
"As if that needed to be said out loud Patch." Lucky snarked, but he then smiled, since he agreed with how awesome it was and hi fived his best friend. "It'd still be pretty awesome though." Lucky and the others were glad to be enjoying the farm after all. As they spoke to each other, Pongo was nearby and smiled. He knew that Lucky would love the country, even if it took time to adjust.
Lucky and Patch were currently on the first floor of the farm, getting a look at the animals and getting to know them as Patch then spotted Bella. She was currently milking one of the cows there with an older female border Collie, who seemed to be her mother. She sported the same style hat as her, along with a red ascot. Patch was more focused on Bella however, and Lucky took notice as he looked as his best friend blushing softly. "Lucky, I... I think I like her."
Lucky and Patch walked towards the entrance as they discussed this with Lucky being ready to help Patch. Little did they know, a familiar Sheepdog to Lucky was leaning on the barn wall relaxing as he heard them speaking. "You said her name was Bella, right?" Mooch flinched upon hearing the name Bella. He opened his eyes and looked to see Lucky and Patch talking. "Here's tip number one. Let her know you care about what she has to say." Mooch was fuming with rage. First the fight, and now Lucky was helping Patch get with Bella! "Chicks dig good listeners."
"Hey! Pint-size!" Lucky and Patch looked to find Mooch walking up to them with Lucky sighing with annoyance at the sight of him. Bella had also taken notice to Mooch's shout though, as did her mother. Bella made sure her mom didn't follow her at first as she then went to check it out. "First you make me look like an idiot in front of my grandpa, and now you try to help Patch get with my girl!?"
Lucky flinched upon hearing that and seemed to show a bit of remorse. He didn't want to hook Patch with a taken girl. "Whoa, sorry dude; I didn't know she was taken."
"Not yet. But she WILL, be mine." Mooch stated arrogantly, leaving Bella to be annoyed at the sound of Mooch trying to claim her as his own.
Lucky then whispered to Patch, not really caring if Mooch heard him. "I'm gonna skip to step four for now; don't say someone's yours before it's official. Or at all. It makes them sound like an item."
Patch nodded in response with Mooch getting in Patch's face, leaving him and Lucky to realize their mistake. "I'm still here pint-size! And listen closely eye-pain! Stay away, from my girl, or you're gonna get it!" Bella was appalled by this behavior with Mooch then making another threat. "In fact... why wait?" Mooch pushed Lucky to the side, making him roll for a bit as Mooch then turned to Patch and pinned him to the ground. "Listen closely eye-pain!" Lucky's temper started fuming once Mooch punched Patch in the stomach, which he did a few times before speaking. "Stay..."
Lucky then spoke in the same vain as Mooch as his beating on Patch continues with head slamming. "Stay..."
And when Mooch socked Patch into the jaw, he stated the second part of his threat. "The heck..."
Lucky then stated it himself. "The, heck..." Seriously; it was a miracle for Mooch that no adults were around at this time.
Mooch then finished his threat, with Patch shown to now have lots of bruises on him. "Away from her!"
Just as he did, Lucky let out a furious scream, one that could be heard all across the farm from there to the chicken coop while charging at Mooch. "AWAY FROM HIM!"
Lucky's scream echoed as he lunged at Mooch, pinning him to the ground as he made one thing clear: He wasn't gonna hold back with this one. Patch was shocked, and Lucky started punching Mooch as soon as he pinned him to the ground. He kept hitting him with constant punches with full strength and speed, making Mooch wince in pain with each one. Lucky's shout was what caught everyone's attention, and Pongo and Perdita had caught sight of what was happening, as well as Bella's mother, but Lucky was so angry that he could only focus on Mooch, who was begging him to stop. "Stop it! Please! Stop!"
Lucky had already landed ten brutal blows on Mooch, and he was starting to bleed from his nose, which is when Patch finally stepped in. He didn't even care that anyone else was watching, as his main priority was keeping Lucky from going too far. "That's enough Lucky; he's had enough!"
Lucky quickly broke out of Patch's grasp, and without thinking, punched him smack in the face, sending him to the ground. This caused Lucky to snap out of his angry trance and gain a look of horror and regret as he gasped upon sight. Mooch took the chance to escape as Bella ran up to Patch to see if he was okay. "Keep this horseshoe spotted psycho away from me!" Oh yeah. I don't know if I mentioned it earlier, but Lucky has a spot on his back in the shape of a horseshoe.
Bella helped Patch get up with Lucky instantly apologizing as he did, being so shocked that he could barely find the words to use. "Patch, I... I'm so sorry; I-"
"It's fine. I'll be fine." Patch assured Lucky, knowing that Lucky wasn't thinking straight when he punched him. "Thanks for getting Mooch off of me."
Pongo and Perdita, as well as Bella's mother, rushed over after Mooch ran off with Perdita attempting to speak up about the situation. She clearly wasn't happy about Lucky assaulting his own brother, but she tried her best to be reasonable. "Lucky, I know moving from the city is hard to adjust to, but-"
"SHUT UP FOR FIVE SECONDS!" Lucky shouted as he grabbed his ears and fell to his knees. It was clear that he needed to calm down before hearing anyone else speak. After taking the time to breathe, which was about five seconds, he let his temper soothen as he contemplated what'd just happened.
Bella's mother then spoke up, trying to be reasonable, just like Perdita. "Listen kid. I won't judge you from this alone, but you're gonna have to control your anger around my daughter. Ya hear me?"
Lucky was unfazed by those words and just kept looking at the ground, and Pongo knew he needed some alone time. "We finished setting up the barn for you. Everyone has their own sleeping areas and everything." Lucky followed Pongo and Perdita to the barn as he thought about what had happened and how stressful of a start this was for him.
Patch was then quick to assure Bella that Lucky wasn't a danger to be around, and that there was a lot to love about him. "Don't worry Bella. Lucky's better than punching me made him look."
"I can believe that. I saw why he tackled Mooch." Bella revealed, and then he looked at Lucky while being worried about his anger. "I just hope he doesn't get outcasted for this." Just then, a Golden Retriever about ten years old was shown to be sitting in a tree branch as he caught sight of the situation and wrote something down in his journal. The words he wrote were 'Dalmatian family: Lively, and ready to protect each other.', as the start of his first page. It seemed as if he was observing his new farm mates.
To be continued.
