Tails didn't get much sleep. Besides the fact that his bed was unconfutable, he couldn't help but worry about what his latest encounter with storm would be like or go down as.

"she did say we'd keep in touch..." thought tails. While this hadn't been since, this mission would probably change that...

Tails looked to the left of him, sonic was still asleep. Tails got up and decided to go for a bit of a walk. The sun had not risen yet, but the sky was somewhat light blue out, meaning that it would be soon. He went to the forest, but not too far. He sat by a creek on a log.

"stressed out?"

Tails looked around, he then saw a fox in the trees wearing a white mask with nothing on it. she wore a kimono that was red, and no shoes where on her feet.

She jumped down and sat next to tails.

"I suppose I can't blame you...I've seen what went down between you and storm, not gonna lie I wish you resisted a bit...then again, she is pretty powerful and you were alone by yourself."

"who are you..."

The fox sighed and took her mask off. Tails eyes lit up as he saw who she was...li moon. Tails remembered li moon, back when they went to the east back in the old world. Tails couldn't help but give her a hug, moon hugged back tightly.

"tails I'm sorry if I look different then what I did in the past, but things have changed for me."

"moon I'm sorry I brought the ninja's back to storm, I wish I fought back or something but...i...I don't know."

"it's ok tails. we know how powerful storm is, let alone begin alone with her."

"we?"

Just then, tails heard some footsteps.

"I'll explain it to you later tails...just be safe...and if you're kicked out of the freedom fighters you're always welcome to the fox wolf ninja alliance."

Moon jumped into the trees just as sonic came right behind tails. Tails yelped as sonic said his name.

"woah, easy buddy, I didn't mean to scare you."

"sorry sonic."

"say who were you talking to..." said sonic.

"talking too?"

"yeah, I heard you talking to someone..."

"uh...I don't remember talking to anyone." Tails said, trying to look confused.

"I take it you were sleep walking."

"yeah...must be the case." Said tails.

"heh, 1st time you've done this. Then again I can't blame you for doing it on those beds. That butler better be right about those rooms begin the only ones available, either that or ken's got nice new beds for us. I don't know how he expects us to help out when we can't get a good night sleep on beds that are hard as rocks."

"true..."

Sonic and tail reached their room. Ken to their surprise was outside waiting for them.

"well...I'll give you two credit. I thought we'd have to wake you up but here you are, awake. Well done." Said ken with a smile.

"early to bed, early to rise." Said tails. Sonic didn't say anything, mostly because the things he had to say weren't very nice. The rest of the freedom fighter gang were also surprised by sonic and tails begin awake early.

"not gonna lie, I'd thought I'd have to wake you both up." Said sally. "how'd you guys get up so early."

"what, you guys think we sleep in all the time?" said sonic.

"well yes...especially you tails." said Nicole. Tails put his head down embarrassed a bit.

"not that it's a bad thing." Said Nicole, petting him, making him smile.

"well, weather you sleep in or not I hope you got enough rest yesterday, this is the day when we go pay our friend storm a visit."

"how we gonna do this?" asked sonic.

"we're basically going to interrogate her, ask her how she got her klan to power. This may get a big rough, as she's not the interviewing type."

Tails couldn't help but feel worried. While li moons offer was nice, he couldn't see him live with himself knowing that his friends were upset or hated him for this betrayal, though he had no choice.

The time came when the gang headed up to the castle. Tails wanted to stay behind, but he knew either way they would find out. Sonic was behind sally and ken, who were taking. He coulnd't hear them but the two would glance back at him from time to time. Sonic didn't know why but he felt a hint of jealously, though he didn't consider himself to be that into women.

Finally, the gang arrived outside the castle. Ninja lynx came out to "greet" them, by jumping down and in battle stances.

"we're not here to fight, we're just here to talk to conquering storm..." said ken.

The ninjas saw tails, though he was hiding in the back. they grouped up and whispered to each other.

"it's the fox who helped bring us here."

"you think storm's gonna mention that?"

"I don't' know, but theirs only one way to find out, besides, I wouldn't mind having him on our team."

"you crazy?"

"no...but think of it this way, the more portals he opens up, the things we can conquer or discover, ever wonder if their's and alternative universe of mobious that's all like this land?"

"good point..."

The ninja's broke from their gathering.

"all right, we'll let you see our leader...but you better not cause any trouble..."

"we won't, were just here to talk." Said ken.

The gang headed inside, with the ninjas staring at tails.

"good luck still begin on your team after they find out the truth, don't worry though, with your powers, we could maybe let at least one non-lynx into the klan." Said one of the ninjas.

Tails gulped. To him, this mission was a death trial. One of the ninjas whispered something in storms ear, and her eyes lit up.

"hello ken." She said as ken and the others approached her. Strangely, (at least to ken), she was smiling, like she knew something.

"I don't like the looks of this..." ken thought.

"alright storm, I'm not trying to start any trouble. I just want to know how you rose to power so quickly. One minute, you were nothing, now, you've got a you're whole klan back again, and in unusually quick timing..."

"funny you should ask that...why don't you ask you're pal tails..." she said. Eyes shot at tails, who instantly looked scared.

"here it comes." He thought.

"tails?" said sonic. "how does she know you're name..."

"better yet, what's she talking about..." said sally.

"let's just say...tails here helped me out." Storm said.

"I don't know what you're talking about! tails would never do such a thing!" said sonic.

"I agree blue, why would he help this disgusting creature anyway?"

Everyone turned around and right behind tails was the distructix members, lightning lynx, sgt simian, flying frog, and Fiona fox.

"you've got to be kidding me..." sonic said.

Blast from the future part 2

Lara-su slowly claimed a tree, trying to get away from the freak of nature that was thrash. He just about got up somewhat high when thrash jumped up and pulled her down.

"got ya!" he said. He then put lara-su on her back carrying her, and plopped her down in front of anther enchiant. The enchiant was red, somewhat tall, and wore a crown that was rusted on his head.

"well, well, well, lara-su, daughter of that idiot knuckles."

"what are you..." just as lara-su was about to finish her sentence, memories started flowing back to her. She remembered baby-sitting the king (sonic's) kids, and having a talk with her "dad."

"memories flowing back? shame they won't be for too long..." he said.

"who are you?" lara-su said trying to stand, only to get pushed down again by thrash.

"the name is general minus, I want to make the enchiant race great again after we lost so many people due to the careless acts of others."

"well attacking me sure doesn't seem like a great start!" said lara-su. "I don't even know my past."

"good, let's make sure you never find out..."

Lara-su didn't have really any place to run, as behind her was a water fall and rocks.

"now lara...we can do this the easy way, or the hard way...and I don't think you want the hard way..." said thrash.

"I think I'll take the hard way..." said lara. She dove into the water fall.

"damn it!" said general minus.

"now what boss?" asked thrash.

"leave her, and let's go looking for knuckles. He can't rule the tribe if he's dead..." said general minus.

Lara rose up, checking to see if the cost was clear. She then got out of the water and wringed her hair out.

"I better get to mobious before I run into those freaks again..." she said.
