Episode 1 - Dates to Come

Thirty years ago, somewhere in the China-Mongolia Border, a mysterious phenomenon that was known as a spacequake has completely shaken the world.

The massive shockwave from the first spacequake had utterly devastated the center of Eurasia which was the largest spacequake that had ever been recorded in world history which had claimed over 150 million people in the total number of estimated deaths and the area where it occurred had resulted in the surrounding area being completely and utterly obliterated.

It was considered the most largest and the most deadliest event in human history.

The world has been constantly shaken by spacequakes ever since...

Japan was no exception to this, but people eventually returned to their normal lives amidst the constant threat of spacequakes' occurrence.

And now...

The Doctor, in the hour of his tenth incarnation, the Tenth Doctor, wearing his usual wardrobe which is composed of light brown Duster-type overcoat, a dark brown suit with blue pinstripes, and red Converse All Stars trainers, was now observing a significant confrontation that is now happening from somewhere down the artificially made shallow hole that replaced everything from the ground.

And he knew what caused it.

For he had been planning for this confrontation and every single event of this world for quite sometime now. For he knew how much things were to change for his student and honorary companion, to one Shidou Itsuka who was now confronting something that is beyond this world. A Spirit. One that had yet to be given a name. A name that the Doctor knew that would forever define who she is.

But the script itself, one that pertains to the events surrounding this world had now been rendered a mere blank; an unknowable future of relativity lies on the horizon, for Shidou himself and for everyone who had ever lived in this world.

The Doctor breathes in and out, sporting a solemn expression, with hands to his pockets, all as the winds gently blow and wave his dark brown suit and light brown Duster-type overcoat, all as he silently observes and knows to himself that he won't be the only one who takes interest in this particular event.

For others will be watching.

Somewhere in a certain bedroom, a young middle school girl with red eyes and very long, light coral-colored hair that is usually tied on both sides with ribbons in a variety of colors, at the present moment, the color white, called the twintail hairstyle, was opening the door with excitement.

This is Kotori Itsuka.

"Oniichan! Time to wake up!"

She begins to pull the bed sheet of a certain bed, thinking that the occupant was sleeping as he was covered inside the blanket.

However...

There was no one to be found as she begins to realize as her face becomes adorned with an expression of surprise.

"Eh!"

She begins to look around through multiple directions for any sign of her big brother as searches for him throughout the surrounding area of the bedroom. But no matter how much she tried her best to look, he wasn't there.

"Oniichan!"

Kotori begins to look around the entire household for her big brother, to no avail as it was apparent that he was no longer present at the house in question. Feelings of concern begin to be felt over her as she tries to look for her big brother to no avail.

"Where did you go?!"

As each passing moment seemed to come from the ticking clock, her worries and concerns grew exponentially, all as her big brother had suddenly disappeared without any warning whatsoever. And this wasn't the first time that this happened.

How many times had this happened? She lost count at the fiftieth time since this happened.

Her brother keeps disappearing every now and then doing who knows what from the side. Normally this wouldn't bother her too much as she has the resources from Ratatoskr in order to search for him immediately, all in due part to her secret role as a Commander.

But no matter how much she tries, even with help and assistance from her crew members in Ratatoskr, they could not locate her big brother in the end, almost as if he simply vanished off the face of the earth.

When her big brother does returns every now and then from whatever he's doing, there was always that smile that on his face that she begins to take immediate notice. A smile that denotes that he had a lot of fun. A smile that denotes that he had a great time.

When she asked her big brother on what he had been doing all this time and where had he been as she was very worried, there was something that didn't seem to be right, noticing the strange solemn look on her big brother's face. Maturity. Experience. A look that both concerned and intrigued her to no end. One that she would be determined to find out if she had any say about it, although with the current situation at present, it seemed that every single time she tries to find out, something else eludes her, almost as if the time to find out the truth had not yet come, almost like there is something that prevents her from finding out the truth.

As she was contemplating all of this with a concerned expression, she spotted from the corner of her eye, a white note paper that was placed at the dinner table. She immediately grabs the note, beginning to read the following:

Dear Kotori.

The food is already prepared at the fridge. I'll be out for a while so don't wait up on me and don't be late for school.

Love, Oniichan.

Kotori begins to have an worried expression that was adorned on her sweatdropped face, all as she holds the white piece of paper with care, with a question that was suddenly blurted out from her mouth, one that carries a tone of worry and anxiety.

"Oniichan... What have you been doing all this time?"

Somewhere in one of many parks of Tengu City, there lies everyone's favorite blue police box - TARDIS - that was neatly parked in a place that had trees waving gently by the wind. And somewhere inside, there seemed to be a discussion that is now taking place.

"Alright everyone, what have we learned for today?"

That was the question of a man of many faces and mysteries, well renown and infamous throughout the meta-millennial cycles as the Doctor, now in his tenth face, his tenth incarnation, the Tenth Doctor, who was now nonchalantly walking through the console, flipping a few switches here and there, all while flashing a winning smile on his face. Accompanying him would be Shidou Itsuka, Touma Kamijou, Conan Edogawa, Kyon, Sota Mizushino, Lelouch Lamperouge, Keima Katsuragi, Kojou Akatsuki, Issei Hyoudou, Godou Kusanagi, Ned Bigby, and Forrest Gump, Jr.

All of them were now discussing a recent incident that had happened during one of the usual classes of the norm that is held on everyone's favorite blue police box. To be strictly specific, one of these classes happened to be dealing with the delicate subject of bomb disposal.

Bomb disposal is an explosives engineering profession using the process by which hazardous explosive devices are rendered safe. Bomb disposal is an all-encompassing term to describe the separate, but interrelated functions in the military fields of explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) and improvised explosive device disposal (IEDD), and the public safety roles of public safety bomb disposal (PSBD) and the bomb squad.

In response to the Doctor's question, Kyon, sporting a deadpanned expression, with hands to his pockets, begins to say in a blunt tone that was tinged with a dry sense of humor. "We all learned from this incident that we should never trust Hyoudou to ever touch a thermal detonator ever again."

"Oh, come on guys! Are you seriously never going to let that go?!" Issei said with an exasperated tone of measure.

"If I were to be completely honest, Issei-san," Conan said with an amused tone. "That was honestly the most hilarious thing that has ever happened to you all things considered."

"Yeah, you should have seen the look on your face when that thermal detonator suddenly exploded right into your face during bomb class. It was honestly a major relief that the device that exploded wasn't deadly and painful, although the clone shock troopers had to be sent for the usual clean ups in case of the usual safety procedures," Godou said with a smile that was tinged with a good sense of humor.

"Ugh," Issei made an exasperated sigh. "Please don't remind me, Kusanagi-san."

"Well," Keima said while touching his glasses in a distant cool fashion. "In Hyoudou's defense, that class was honestly pretty challenging all things considered."

"Oho!," Shidou made a side remark of humor. "Do my ears deceive me or has the God of Conquest himself officially stated that the class that we just had most recently regarding bomb disposal was very challenging for him. Never thought I would see the day."

"I'm just saying it as it is, Itsuka-san," Keima said with a slight smile and with a cool tone. "The lesson regarding the disarming of the bombs during class was very challenging indeed considering the fact that the bombs in question were very advance technology that hasn't even been invented yet in many of our universes, along with the fact that these types of bombs had a very intricate set of designs that needed to be handled with the utmost amount of care if one were to not end up in the hospital or in the morgue to early."

"Well, at the very least, we all learned during that day on not to let Hyoudou-kun near any more of those thermal detonators the next time we have bomb disposal class. Otherwise, it all might just explode randomly on our faces when we least expect it," Lelouch said with a tinge of dry humor.

"Hehahahahaha!" Most of the students/companions begin to laugh as a result of what Lelouch had just said.

"Haaah!," Issei clutches his head in embarrassment. "Why, me?!"

As the laugh was still being sounded by most of the main companions and honorary companions in question, a sudden violent shake begins to vibrate in throughout the TARDIS which resulted in said companions and the Doctor falling down towards the metal floor.

"Woah!"

Sparks of all sorts begin to appear and fly randomly at the console of the TARDIS. The emergency alarms have been automatically triggered as it begins to be sounded which is heard throughout the Public Address (PA) speakers, with everyone from the teachers, students, and everyone else inside the TARDIS listening in on said alarm as they all looked totally disheveled as a result of the TARDIS shaking.

"WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO!"

"WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO!"

"What!" exclaimed many countless disheveled teachers, students, and everyone present who was inside the TARDIS, with loud, concerned and alarmed voices resounding throughout the corridors that had now for one reason or another had far messier appearances due to the sudden shift of the TARDIS which resulted in many school supplies scattered throughout the floor which resulted in people like William "Billy" Loomer slipping accidentally, to which in turn drops them straight to the floor, knocking them out in a thud, lockers suddenly opening which resulted in people like Gumball Waterson getting hit to the face which sends them towards the ground in a thud, and a couple of sparks begin to fly upon the security rooms as the clones in charge of security exclaimed "What the kriff!," disheveled and bewildered as to what is now taking place.

"WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO!"

"What the hell!," exclaimed one Roland Deschain, as he and Ash J. Williams suddenly tumbled towards the floor of one of the hallways due to the sudden shifting quake that the TARDIS is now experiencing, which is no doubt being felt by everyone who was inside.

"WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO!"

"What the heck!, exclaimed one Lady Professor Washu Hakubi, as she, carefully holding onto a tube that has a significant liquid compound which had now exploded unto her face, as she and the rest of her science class students had suddenly felt the sudden shifting quake that the TARDIS is now experiencing, which is no doubt being felt by everyone who was inside.

"WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO!"

"?" Lady Frederica Bernkastel simply narrowed her eyes, raising an eyebrow in curiosity, with her tail wagging in turn, holding unto her tea cup and plate with grace, feeling the sudden shifting quake that the TARDIS is now experiencing, which is no doubt being felt by everyone who was inside.

"WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO!"

"?" Castiel and Tsukasa Kadoya - Kamen Rider Decade were sporting alarmed expressions, feeling something amiss as they begin to stand up from their bench as they looked around at the disheveled ordinary civilians that were now lying on the floor in each respective positions, then they both looked towards each other, making a nod towards one another as they begin to both head towards the main console room, all while feeling the sudden shifting quake that the TARDIS is now experiencing, which is no doubt being felt by everyone who was inside.

"WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO!"

"What the bloody hell is going on up there?!," spoke one John Constantine, as he and Dr. Strange, who was levitating in a monk like pose from the center of one of the hall rooms of the Mystic Arts, were looking upwards, noticing the tumbling of the multitude of well neat stacked books from the shelves due to the sudden shifting quake that the TARDIS is now experiencing, which is no doubt being felt by everyone who was inside.

"WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO!"

"?" Optimus Prime was now standing up from his desk from the library, sporting a concerned expression on his face, feeling the sudden shifting quake that the TARDIS is now experiencing, which is no doubt being felt by everyone who was inside.

"WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO!"

"Woah!," exclaimed Q, as the white fishing boat, floating by one of the lakes, that he was now presently in, being seated on a simple white chair, with a fishing rod on the ready, was slightly rumbling due to the sudden shifting quake that the TARDIS is now experiencing, which is no doubt being felt by everyone who was inside.

"What in the world?," he questioned bewilderingly.

"WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO! WARNING! CODE: BRAVO!"

"What!" the main companions and the honorary companions said in a loud, concerned and alarmed voice.

"What! What!" the Doctor exclaimed in alarm as he begins to stand up and steady himself.

The Doctor begins to run frantically towards the TARDIS scanner.

"What!," he exclaimed, all as he notices the high level of seismic readings that was appearing in the scanner which shows the current level and impact of a phenomenon that is known in the world that the TARDIS landed on as a spacequake.

"...Oh, no," the Doctor muttered with utter concern, immediately realizing as to what is truly happening.

The day that is he has been preparing contingency plans for had finally come. Shidou Itsuka, his honorary companion, is now officially about to meet someone who is well connected to him in ways that he has yet to fully realize.

At this particular moment, the Doctor was now rushing fast towards the console, flipping the switches and the levers that deals with the immediate emergency responses, activating the security protocols, to which in turn, managed to turn on the force field at full power that would now surround the outer plasmic shell of the TARDIS, protecting the occupants from any form of harm and with that comes the slow decrease of the seismic shift that is being felt across the TARDIS.

"What the heck is happening?!," Kojou asked frantically as he was clutching his head, trying to find a way to get back up and steady himself.

"I'm not sure!," Godou said as he was also trying to find a way to get back up and steady himself.

"Hang on everyone!," The Doctor said in full haste. "This ride is about to get rather bumpy!"

Vworp Vworp Vworp

As the cloister bells begin to rung, it took only a little fraction of a moment moments before the spacequake eventually subsided as a result of the activation of the force field, to which in turn made the emergency alarm finally stopped blaring.

"Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

By the time the rocking vibrating movements have stopped, most of everyone who was present at the main control room was now presently lying on the metal floor as they all begin to rub their heads in order to get their balance back together.

"Wh-What just happened?" Ned asked as he was rubbing his head.

At that moment, Castiel and Tsukasa both entered the main console room, sporting concerned expressions as they make their way towards the companions in order to help them up.

"Are you alright, kid?," asked Tsukasa towards his protégé who he was now lending a hand in order to help him stand up.

"Y-Yeah," Sota said, still clutching and rubbing the side of his head, standing up while taking the hand of his mentor. "I'm fine, sensei."

"Thanks Cas," spoke Touma, as he takes the offered hand that Castiel had given to him.

"Its no problem, Touma," Castiel said with a smile of reassurance.

And while the companions were being helped by Castiel and Tsukasa, the Doctor was just simply staring at one of the screens for a few moments or so.

"Seismic readings are off the charts." the Doctor muttered in a whisper of resignation and dread. "This is it. This is the day that he would meet her."

At this point, both Castiel and Tsukasa begin to notice the subtle dreadful expression upon their Leader, immediately taking note of the seriousness that is now happening at this very moment.

After a few moments had passed, the Doctor begins to make haste towards the outside world, opening the doors and goes outside, only to immediately noticing the surrounding area that is now mostly damaged.

The lamp stands were either blunted slightly or were lying on the asphalt floor. There were a few major and minor cracks that had appeared throughout the asphalt floor from multiple directions. Many of the nearby buildings seemed to have crumbled down due to the seismic disturbance that he and everyone else must have felt. The surrounding area appears to look as if it just went through the aftermath of an earthquake.

There was something else. Something that was alerting the Time Lord's higher senses. One that is also being felt by both Castiel and Tsukasa, who had by now joined the Doctor outside, immediately narrowing their eyes as they felt the sheer quantity of power that is now being felt on a certain direction that is located at the downtown area, to which the three noted was now lying in utter ruins.

The main and honorary companions, after getting their bearings in order, followed the Doctor, Castiel, and Tsukasa's lead as they all went outside, immediately taking note of the surrounding area, sporting expressions of surprise and shock that was written on their faces, with their eyes beginning to widen at the sheer devastation that they were now seeing.

"...Dear god," Lelouch muttered, sporting a shocked expression.

"Ho-Ho-How the hell did this happen?!" Kojou asked, sporting a shocked expression.

"Wa-Was it an earthquake that did this?" Forest Jr. asked in concern.

"I'm afraid not, Forest," the Doctor said with a grave look of seriousness, with both hands to his pockets. "Something far worst than an earthquake has done this."

Most of the companions all begin to turn towards the Doctor with concern that was etched onto their faces.

"What do you mean by that, Doctor?" Sota asked in concern.

"A spacequake did this."

The rest of the companions turned towards the one who had spoken - Shidou Itsuka - now sporting a serious expression, turning towards the Doctor for confirmation.

"Isn't that right, Doctor?"

The Doctor nodded in assent with a grave expression of seriousness, to which in turn made both Castiel and Tsukasa sport similar grave expressions, immediately recognizing the term "spacequake" which was a mysterious phenomenon that was detailed in one of the SCP Files concerning the World of Date A Live.

"A spacequake!," Touma exclaimed in concern and recognition. "You mean that what did all of this much damage was a spacequake."

"That's right, Kamijou-san," Shido nodded gravely, looking around the place with a serious narrowed expression.

"Issei."

A voice was heard as a red gauntlet with a green jewel and 2 golden spikes begins to appear in Issei's left arm. This red gauntlet is known as The Boosted Gear. A Sacred Gear that is wielded by Issei Hyoudou. Listed as one of the original thirteen Longinus, specifically a mid-tier Longinus, it has the spirit of the Welsh Dragon, Ddraig, residing within it.

"What is it, Ddraig?" Issei asked in concern as he looked towards the Boosted Gear.

"Something is not right. I'm detecting a large spike of mana radiation that seems to be centered around the downtown area just east to your vicinity."

"What!," Issei said as he and the rest of his fellow companions looked towards the downtown area which was to the east of their position.

The Doctor begins to speak in a knowing tone of voice, sighing heavily at what is now definitely about to happen next, looking towards the red gauntlet. "So... you sense the same fluctuation of mana energy as we did, Lord Ddraig."

"Yes, my Lord Doctor." Ddraig said with a tone of respect towards the Time Lord.

"Shidou," the Doctor immediately turned towards Shidou with a look of seriousness, which was noticed immediately by Shidou and the rest of the companions. "It's time."

Shidou begins to nod in assent, sporting an expression that was firmed and determined, in preparation for what is no doubt about to come for his own relative future and that it is something that he alone must do, with a little help and assistance from the side.

The unknown world that had now been eluding him since his younger days. A constant shadow that he simply just could not shake due to his profound connection of this event and other future events relating to him particular. One that he could not just simply ignore as this was something that he had to do.

The unknown world of the Spirits. That is what he will now face for this day.
