Chapter 19: Fire vs Omnitrix; the Power of Friendship pt.1

Main Hallway

Shocksquatch was charging out of there like crazy, along with Moka clinging on to his back. They had ran out of the Committee's dungeon and were now making their way out of the place. The best chance Ben and Moka had now, was to get somewhere where they could meet up with Gwen and plan on the next step. It was evident that leaving the academy was the only solution now if Ben had any chance to help Moka. But first they had to get out of there, and reach the bus.

But then, it hit Ben, as he stopped to a halt. Moka looked to Ben and asked, "What's wrong, Ben?"

"Agh, I just realized," Shocksquatch grumbled, "The bus comes only once a month! I cant get you out without it."

Moka blinked, "What? What are you talking about?"

"The plan was that I get you outta here, and I'd find Gwen and Kevin," Shocksquatch explained. "Then we'd get outta here and the other side of the barrier." He then grumbled, "But considering it'll be a month before the bus gets here, that plan's down the drainer, eh." Suddenly, he got a sharp tug of his hair from the back, as he groaned. He looked around, and saw Moka, hiding a frown, as she pulled at him lightly to get his attention. "Hey, what's the big idea," he complained.

He stopped as he noticed that Moka was shaking a little, until she finally spoke up, "You're still an idiot, Ben." She then glared daggers at him in anger, as she shouted, "You moron! Didn't I tell you that I'd be with you no matter what on this?" her voice then calmed down a bit, as she gave him a sad smile, similar to what Mizore would've given him. "You're my friend, my only friend that I ever had before. I'm not about to lose something as precious as that. So please, let me fight alongside you in this."

Shocksquatch seemed a bit stunned by that speech, until finally he sighed in defeat, and smirked at Moka, "Hey, hoser. It's yer funeral if I screw up, ey."

Moka smirked, as she hopped off, and gently took Ben's hand. "Don't worry," she said as she let him grab her rosary, "I know you won't."

"Well isn't this a revolting moment," Kuyou's voice spoke up, getting Ben and Moka's attention. There, Kuyou was twenty feet from them, and all around them were the Security Committee enforcers: the whole lot of them. Kuyou flexed his fingers in anticipation, as he smirked viciously, "Now that the human has been exposed, and the two of you together, what better opportunity can there be? As well as taking down the Newspaper Club as well."

Shocksquatch raised an eyebrow, as he asked, "Why take them down? I thought I was the one you wanted?"

"Why," Kuyou asked, as he brought up his right hand, flames dancing around it. "It's because this is a matter of school security. The newspaper club is a menace to Youkai Academy's society; it must be purged from the very grounds it stands on. And it's the Enforcers' sacred duty to do so!"

Moka frowned at that, and pulled away, snapping the rosary off her. In an instant, she transformed into Moka-sama, and frowned at Kuyou, as she snarled, "So you slaughter a club who have done no apparent wrongs, except expose you for the frauds that you are? Despicable."

Kuyou's eyebrow twitched, as he explained, "That's the law. The Security Committee uphlds the law. AND I AM THE LAW!" He then swiped away, shooking Moka-sama to step aside, "Now stand aside, so that we may do away with this human filth that dares to sulley our school."

Moka-sama stood her ground, not even flinching at the moment, as Kuyou glared at her piercingly, "Stupid girl. Do you even know what it is you're doing? That thing behind you may look like one of us, but it's a mere illusion; a hoax to fool us all." As this was done, students from all over the school were watching this, in class, outside, or just appearing from the stairways or other hallways, as Kuyou began, "In truth, that thing is human. Anyone who helps it is a traitor to all monster kind." He then ordered out, "I FIND YOU, MOKA AKASHIYA, GUILTY OF TREASON TO YOUR OWN KIND, AND CONDEMN YOU TO DIE ALONG WITH THAT HUMAN PIECE OF FILTH!"

The entire Security Enforcers charged into battle, with Glasses changing into a Cerberus/werewolf hybrid, as he roared, "OUR GLORIOUS LEADER HAS ORDERED US!"

"Prepare yourselves, Moka Akashiya and Ben Tennyson," the big bruiser shouted, as he transformed into a rock giant.

And then the redhead appeared, who was named Deshiko Deshi, who then transformed into a Chinese dressed gal. her Chinese dress was black and pinkish red, with black sleeves nearly covering her hands, Chinese slip on shoes, a skirt going down to her ankles, her torso had a red bikini bra, exposing chest to stomach with laces holding the front together, and with a scroll on her face. This indicated that she was a Jiang Shi, a type of reanimated corpse or a Chinese Vampire, as she flung in first, shouting with a smile on her face, "And now, human and lawbreaker, you two are gonna die!"

ZAAAAAAAAAAAAP!

Immediately, Deshiko got shot back by a lightning bolt punch, as she was sent skidding on the floor. She was smoking and dazing over, as Shocksquatch shouted, "Nobody's gonna die today, hozteasers!"

Moka-sama sweat dropped and grumbled, "Try and take it easy with the Canadian accent, okay?"

The other security enforcers charged at them, but something went amiss. The lockers suddenly opened up, and the floors erupted, causing cables and wires to suddenly shoot upward. The cables and wires wrapped around the feet of those who could run, and out of the lockers appeared books that turned into flying bats of sort. They began attacking them with no warning. Moka-sama and Shocksquatch blinked at this bizarre events, but fortunately, a familiar voice spoke up.

"Moka! Ben! Hurry up and get outta there," Kurumu suddenly shouted, as she flew in fast, slashing at the Enforcers. She whipped back to look at the two, as she smirked, "C'mon, bolt already! My illusions aren't gonna hold them for long!"

"Kurumu," Shocksquatch asked. But then turned around as he heard people running towards them. He then saw the others, "Gwen, Yukari, and even Mizore?"

Even Moka-sama blinked at this, as she nearly gaped, "You all came?"

Gwen created a force field battering ran to smash the Enforcers back a bit, and create a shield in front of them. "You seriously didn't think I'd leave you behind," Gwen asked them, and looked sternly to Ben, "Including you, King of the Doofuses."

Shocksquatch frowned at that, "I thought you'd stop calling me that?"

"So an act of treason from the rest of the Newspaper Club," Kuyou announced. "It was rather unexpected, but it saves us the time to hunting you all down! Now my followers of Justice, finish off all these traitors for the crime of befriending a human!"

The Cerberus charged right at them, but Gwen used her magic to create a web of shackles that pinned him in place. As he thrashed around, Kurumu shot forward, and sliced him up pretty badly. Deshiko slowly started to get up, until Yukari summoned washing pales to come crashing down upon her, knocking her out again. The Golem roared out loud, as he charged at them.

But then Mizore leapt forward, forming a ball of ice over her head, as she shouted, "What can I say, I just can't hold back!" and slammed it into the Golem. This caused ice to grow all around and in him, as he fell to the floor helpless.

As the fighting continued, Gwen shouted, "Mizore! We need some cover!"

"On it," she shouted, as she took out her lollipop, and blew out a mighty blizzard. Once it died down, half the Enforcers were beaten up, and half were frozen over. But Kuyou was left unscathed, and was able to take notice of what happened next. There was no sign of the prisoners, or any trace of the Newspaper Club members now. But what caught his attention, was a smoking hole in the roof, leading all the way out of the building.

Kuyou just smirked, seeing all of those traitors, and that one human, retreating, as he taunted, "Go ahead and run. It won't do you or anyone else any good." And immediately leapt up to the hole, charging right after them, "You may be the most powerful monster on the campus, and you may also have the most powerful weapon ever, but together you're no match for someone of my power!"

When he was gone, oozing out of the grates was a black and red blob of sorts. When enough was out, it created a tendril with a red eye blinking around. It surveyed the Enforcers who were all down for the count, and that familiar voice grunted, "Pathetic. I should've known better than to allow these fleeting organics handle this." But then he took notice of one of the Enforcers, Deshiko, getting back up, as she reverted to human form.

The Blob arched its eyebrow, and smirked, "Perhaps someone might be of use…"

School Roof

They had reached safe distance away from Kuyou and the Enforcers, and now took a deep breath in wait. The girls were pretty pooped out, as was Shocksquatch as he leaned on the side. Suddenly, in a green flash, Ben returned, and much to Moka-sama's surprise, as were the others, were shocked to see him in such a state. Moka-sama immediately ordered him to sit down, much to any resistance from her, and took care of the situation. She immediately tore her sleeve to make a cold compress from some running water, and lightly dabbed his wounds.

While she did this, Kurumu seemed to just stand far from them, almost seemingly avoiding them completely. Gwen saw this, as she walked over to her, and imply, "You know, if you're that irked about it, just go over."

Kurumu sighed, and knew she had to do it, and nodded, "Okay."

Moka-sama managed to gently wipe away some of the blood on his face, as she lightly scolded, "Honestly, I feel like I have to take care of you. Like a babysitter or a…"

"A girlfriend taking care of a clumsy, cocky, and headstrong boyfriend?" Ben mused in teasing, but winced as Moka-sama roughly rubbed a sore spot. He just chuckled half-heartedly, but stopped as soon as he saw Yukari, Kurumu, and even Mizore pop up from a corner, and walked over to them. Knowing full well they didn't want to talk to them, but Ben made it his business to talk up, "Listen, guys. I'm sorry I kept this a secret for so long. And honestly… I wanted to tell you the truth…"

"You know," Yukari interrupted, as she twiddled with her wand in her hands, shyly looking at the ground, as she began. "My home… it's a small community of Magic Users. We don't really venture out into the human world, but we hear a lot of stories about the Witch Trials. I grew up pretty terrified about them, and fearing I'd share the same fate if I ever ran into a human. But… " she then looked to Ben, happy and almost on the verge of tears, as she finished, "But now I have a different opinion about humans. It doesn't matter if you're a monster or a human; it matters if you're good or bad."

She then knelt down, as she helped Moka-sama with Ben, as she applied a healing salve to his bruises and cuts, "And I mean that from personal experience. When I first came to this school, all the monsters just picked on me." And then she smiled to Ben, "And the first person who ever stood up to me was you, Ben. A human: the very enemy I was taught to hate and fear."

"And I'm actually glad for that, too," Mizore seemed to smile. "I haven't had the best experience with guys. But I have been trying, and most of the time, I always seem to wind up with one guy who'll treat me the worst." She the shied behind Gwen, as she hid her face a little, "But then I was saved by you; the one guy who treated me better."

Ben and Moka blinked a moment, and then turned to Kurumu, who seemed a bit shaken up. Almost as if what she wanted to say was a bit hard for her. Finally, she spoke up, "You know, I was a little angry you kept this from me. Both of you." She balled up her fists on her lap, as she continued, "It really irked me to no end after the interrogation… the fact that you guys didn't trust us with this secret."

Moka-sama started to talk, "I can understand that you hate us for that, but…"

"But, hey. Do you have any idea how frustrating it was," Kurumu continued, surprising Moka-sama and Ben. And then looked to the two, as she was crying, "If you had told me or the others sooner, we could've come up with a number of ideas to help out."

Realizing she didn't hate him, Ben smiled sadly, as he apologized, "Sorry I didn't have the nerve to tell you guys this sooner."

Kurumu cried out, letting all the frustration out, "Idiot. IDIOT! You and Moka are both IDIOTS!"

And that moment, the Newspaper Club seemed to have let the past go, and renewed their bond. However, now wasn't the time for begging forgiveness or sentimentalism.

"How sappy," a familiar voice spoke out. This caused the Club to turn near the ledge of the roof, and out slurped a red and black blob. Once it was all present, it formed into none other than… Malware. He flexed his clawed fingers, as he spoke out in disgust, "In truth, I find organic emotions to be as nauseating as devouring Level 9 Technology."

Ben, despite feeling a little pain, and Gwen shot up, as they were graced of the appearance of a familiar foe. "Malware," they both shouted.

Even Moka-sama snarled angrily at seeing this creature's face, "You again!"

The others shot up, but confused on this, as Yukari asked, "Moka, who is that? And why does he look like Upgrade?"

"Malware's an old enemy of Ben's younger days," Moka-sama explained, as her glare intensified, as she finished. "He's a criminal Galvanic Mechamorph from Galvan B."

That caused the three girls to blink in confusion, as Kurumu asked, "Galvan B? Is that a city, town, or a street in America?"

Ben sighed, and knew the girls wouldn't get it, but he answered anyway, "It's a moon that orbits a planet called Galvan Prime." The girls looked a bit confused by that, and ben sighed again, "He's an alien." And nervously finished, "As are the supposed monster forms you've seen me in."

The girls blinked in this together, equally confused, and supposedly surprised, as they screamed out, "WHAAAAAA? ALIENS!?"

Suddenly, a crimson blast caused them all to dodge out of the way, as the ground before them was blown. Malware shouted, "Enough! I am tired of dealing with you adolescent prepubescent organic life forms." He then glared at Ben's direction, as he spat out, "I didn't smuggle myself on that bus that day and hide here to recuperate, not to mention side with the Security Forces of this school, simply to hear the shocked prattle of these hybrid beings learn the truth, that there is existence beyond the Milky Way Galaxy!"

Once that sunk in, Ben blinked and shouted, "That was you! You told the Enforcers about the Omnitrix!"

Malware had to chuckle at that, "I may have slipped tad information about the existence of the Omnitrix. But only the parts of you being a human as well as the information Kuyou needed to know of it."

"Well then if you're tired of dealing with the chitchat, then deal with this," Ben shouted, as he activated the Omnitrix, and in a flash, XLR8 showed up, and sped towards Malware. And just before he struck him, he transformed again into Rath, and shouted, "LEMME TELL YA SOMETHIN', MALWARE! YOU MAY BE HIGH TECH, BUT YOU CAN'T BEAT LOW TECH AS HIGH AS THIS!"

The girls just sweat dropped, even as Gwen grumbled, "That didn't make any sense…"

Malware simply chuckled, as something schlorped out of his stomach, and he held it in bonds made of his own techno-organic body. It was none other than the Security Enforcer chick with the staff, Deshiko Deshi… who was only inches from Rath's fist claw, as he came to a stop. Rath blinked, as he asked, "HEY! WHAT'S WITH THE ENFORCER CHICK?!"

"Deshi?" everyone asked, as Kurumu asked, "What's the big deal? Just punch her and him!"

"Because we have an impasse before us," Malware answered, as he looked to Rath, "This is how the game goes: you deactivate the Omnitrix and give it to me…" and then morphed his right hand into a double-barrel laser blaster, and pointed it to Deshiko's head, as eh threatened, "… or I kill her."

Rath stood there for a second, unsure of what to do at the moment, until Moka-sama called out, "Just do it, Ben!"

Rath blinkd at that, and turned around, shouting, "WHAT!? WAT YOU TALKIN' ABOUT, MOKA?"

"Just kill her and Malware; it doesn't matter," Moka-sama shouted out. "She's a Security Enforcer; a while ago, she didn't care whether or not you lived! Why should you care?"

Gwen sighed, as she had to agree, "As much as I hate to say it, but she's right, Ben. What if this is a trap?"

Malware chuckled, as the barrels of the gun warmed up, "It doesn't matter if it's a trap or not…" And aimed for Deshiko's head as he taunted, "I wonder… are these monster's healing abilities as superior as Kuyou bragged about? Can they grow new heads?"

Rath gritted his teeth, as he shouted, "ARGGH! I'M GETTIN' SICK OF THIS! LEMME TELL YA SOMETHIN', MALWARE: MUTATED GALVANIC MEHCA… MECH… ME…" He stumbled as he tried to figure out how to pronounce the name, but shook his head, and shouted, "AH, FORGET IT! JUST LET HER GO!"

"First, deactivate the Omnitrix," Malware demanded.

"LET HER GO!"

"THE OMNITRIX!"

"THE GIRL!"

"THE OMNITRIX," Malware fished, but shook his head, as he shouted, and pointed the gun at Deshiko, "ENOUGH! She dies!"

But a green flash, and much to the girls' surprise, Ben deactivated Rath. Malaware chuckled, as he lowered the blaster, "I knew you'd come around. After all, you are the hero. And you know what I'm capable of." He then taunted, "I'm sure you're aware of that, even four years ago, when we last encountered one another. I seem to recall that was the only time I defeated you. As well as take away one of your prized aliens. What was it? Oh yes, I remember: your conductoid. Feedback, I believe you called him." Ben frowned at that, as his fists were balling up to his sides, "Sore subject, I see."

Ben's frown furthered on that, as he then demanded, "Okay, now let her go."

Malware thought about it, and shrugged, "No." He then aimed the blaster at Deshiko, and on his shoulders, formed caster cannons, aimed for Gwen and the others, "I think I'll just kill her and everyone else. Six less organics to worry about in the future."

"How 'bout just one less Mechamorph?"

And suddenly, a beam shot out from above the girls, hitting Malware, as he suddenly spasmed, and blew apart in tiny red and black sploges across the roof. Deshiko, having been released, was beginning to loose her balance since she stood on the ledge of the roof, and suddenly tipped off the ledge, crying out, "No, no… HEEEEELP!" But suddenly, Ben ran up, and grabbed her wrist, startling the Security Enforcer as she blinked surprise, "Tennyson?"

"Hang on," and pulled her back, accidently crashing into him. She shook her head for a moment, and then blinked as she saw her resting her hands on Ben's shoulders, and she was suddenly face-to-face with the human teenager, as he smirked, "You okay?"

She suddenly pushed him aside, and huffed, crossing her arms, "Get away from me, human!"

"Hey!" Kurumu shouted, as now she was face-to-face with Deshiko, "This human just saved your life!"

"Actually, the human, plus ex-convict over," Kevin called out, as he hopped off the roof of the roof entrance, holding an impressive looking cannon blaster, as he smirked, "… saved your life, lady."

"Kevin," Gwen suddenly smiled, but then frowned, "You're late."

Ben cocked an eyebrow at Kevin, "What kept you so long? I thought you bailed on us."

"I was getting some firepower for this fight coming up." Kevin frowned, as he pointed behind his back with his head, "That… and I had to bring your dog."

Ship glorped a stock head at the others, and yipped happily, "SHIIP! SHIIIIIP!"

He hopped right at Moka-sama, who caught him in her arms, as the little Mechamorph puppy snuggled in her arms. Surprisingly, she giggled at the affectionate little alien, as she smiled, "I'm glad to see you're alright too, Ship."

Once Kevin met up with the others, he set the cannon down, but it didn't go ignored, as Mizore asked, "So what are you then? A human, monster, or what?" She then looked to the cannon and asked, "And what's that?"

Kevin shrugged, "I'm complicated." He then pointed to the cannon, while no one noticed the red and black blob slowly making its way towards the others. "And that, is a Tachyon Cannon. It's a little something I brought with me here. Along with a few other things," Kevin explained. "It's mostly a last resort weapon, considering this was a last resort sort of situation. What it does is disrupts every individual cell with matching DNA in a certain radius, taking the target apart on a subcellular level. That's what happened to Malware."

Deshiko heard that, as she transformed into her Monster Form, as suddenly, metallic claws shot out of the sleeves in place of her hands. "I knew it," she shouted, getting ready to slice them up, "You three were sent here to destroy this school by using that cannon thing of yours."

Kevin blinked, as he shook his head, "I said it was a weapon of last resort. I only brought it along in case any of Ben's old enemies showed up, and we were losing, then I'd use it." He then frowned, "That. And there's a reason why it's a last resort weapon."

"Indeed," Malware suddenly spoke up, causing everyone to see the black and red blob jump right at them. They dodged it in time, but not enough time to stop him from going for the Tachyon Cannon. He grabbed and absorbed it as he spoke up, "It was a rather good effort, Levin. Using the Tachyon Cannon on a techno-organic being, such as myself." He then began to morph back into his true form again, but this time, it appeared different.

His new form was more muscular and dinosaur-like now. He had a spiked spine Mohawk on his stretched neck and head, with now had a beak-like mouth glowing yellow on the inside. His circuitry code was still red, but more curvy and twisted. He had two yellow ports on his ankles, and his hands were clawed now. And he had spikes on his forearms, shoulders, and knees. This form made him even more menacing now that he had absorbed the Tachyon Cannon.

He cackled evilly, as he gloated, "And the weapon might have worked… if my techno-organic code wasn't mutated. But that's to that, I have transcended my kind's limitations." Malware chuckled, and stood for the others to behold his new form, as he gloated, "Heheheh, and now thanks to the Tachyon Cannon's technology, what I am now is so much more than what I was before. So much more than any normal and pathetic Galvanic Mechamorph." He then stood triumphant, as he shouted, "I AM SUPERIOR!"

Ben just groaned, as he shook his head, "Oh, great. Evil villain evil speech now."

Malware raised a nonexistent eyebrow, as he corrected, "Evil? No. Visionary! I see a world where I can create true perfection. It was Azmuth, the creator of the Omnitrix. Galvan B and my very race, who thought me flawed. Hence he gave me the name Malware." He then raised his right hand, allowing to morph into a twisted version of the Tachyon Cannon, "But I am not the Flawed One, it is the other Mechamorphs on Galvan B who are inferior. All they do is stretch, bend, mold, manipulate, and mimic others' creations. But I do not upgrade others' technology…" He then pointed the blaster at the girls and Ben, and shouted, "… THEY UPGRADE ME!" He then snickered, as he pointed to Ben with his left hand, "And once Kuyou's done killing you and your harem… I shall finally upgrade myself to true perfection…" Pointing right to the Omnitrix, "… using Azmuth's most perfected invention."

Seeing that he was after Ben the entire time, or rather the Omnitrix, Moka-sama stood in front of Ben, as she shielded him, looking rather defiant at the corrupted Mechamorph. "I can't allow you to do that, Malware," Moka-sama shouted.

The other girls stood with her, as Kurumu brought out her wings, tail and claws, Mizore had her ice claws, and Yukari held her wand out in defense. "We second that," Kurumu shout.

Even Gwen charged up her aura beams in her hands, and Kevin touched the roof, making an exosuit for himself.

Malware snarled as he pointed the Tachyon Cannon at them, and shouted, "Enough! I'll just blow you all away, and be done with it!"

Kevin realized what would happen if that was done, and shouted, "No, wait! Don't do that! I may not know if the students and faculty here are really aliens or hybrids, or whatever, but they at least got a little human in them!"

Malware arched his eye, and asked, "So what?"

"So even if your new gun's targeted to human DNA, it's still one les percent variation. You fire that thing, it won't just take us down, it'll take the whole school down with it! Much less anyone within a hundred mile radius!"

After hearing that, everyone, including a much indecisive Deshiko, shouted in surprised shock, "WHAT?!"

Malware thought about that, and chuckled, "Nehehehe, a bonus in my opinion." He pointed the Tachyon Cannon, at them all, and cackled, "We've already seen what it does to my kind! Let's see what happens to yours! AAAAHAHAHAHAAAHAAAA! AAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!"

"How about we don't!"

In a flash, Gin in werewolf form, suddenly sped up out of nowhere, and kicked Malware to the ground. Gin jumped to the others, as he stood ready, "Nobody takes down my club. I may have been the last one standing from last year, thanks to Kuyou and his Enforcers, but I'm not letting it happen again!"

But it didn't stop him, as eh shouted, "I've had enough!" and morphed himself into a cannon, firing right at the whole group.

But Gwen casted an impressively strong shield around them, hitting the beam in contact. But the blast was becoming too much for Gwen, as she was already on one knee, "I… can't hold it… much longer!"

"Then don't," Ben said, as he pressed on the Omnitrix, and changed into Frankenstrike, "Frankenstrike's on the case!" And stood at the shield, using his conductors to suck up the Tachyon's blast.

Gin raised an eyebrow, as he asked, "Frankenstrike? I thought you called that form Benviktor, much to Moka's interview."

Frankenstrike shrugged, "Yeah, but I decided to change the name. Frankenstrike sounds better. And I changed Benwolf to Blitzwolfer. I don't know, I thought the new names sounded cooler."

Once the beam died down, Malware hissed, "AAAAAAAAAH! CURSE YOU, TENNYSON!"

But he didn't have time to act, as Gin and Frankenstrike charged into fight. The fight seemed to be one sided, as Malware wasn't faring well against two opponents. The Transylian's electromagnetic fists and electricity was proving harmful to him, causing his form to become dissemblance and hard to reform his integrity. And the Loboan-like creature's speed only made it hard for a beam to hit him. At the moment, Malware's anger was rising with every loss at this moment.

The others were about to run in to help with the fight, but suddenly, Security Enforcers showed up, issuing out a huge brawl on the roof. Kurumu took to the air to take on the airborne opponents, as they followed her on the ground. Moka-sama attacked full barrage with kicks, punches, and chops, with Ship on her back in the form of a backpack. Gwen and Yukari used their magic to back each other up; Gwen using shields and blasts, and sometimes a few energy fists and feet to make her kung fu moves more powerful. Yukari summoned wash pans to rain from the sky, crashing down on the Committee, knocking them out. It was a full on school brawl now.

However, Deshiko looked at the purpetrators, and at her own committee. When she had regained consciousness back in the hallway earlier, the creature Malware had abducted her, and held her hostage against the Human, Tennyson. Thinking he would have caved in on the vampire's advice to do them both in, he decided to give up. But then saved her from both Malware and falling off the roof. Torn from Kuyou's orders and the actions Tennyson had done, she didn't really know what to do at this point.

But then, she spotted Moka-sama battling a few of her comrades at the moment, and saw one of them sneaking behind her. The Enforcer charged at Moka, turning into some kind of Ogre, surprising her a bit. Until a chained mace shot at the guy, knocking him out cold.

Moka-sama blinked at Deshiko's changed allegiance, as now the Chinese Vampire stood by the Vampire's back. "I thought you wanted to kill us," Moka-sama questioned, still fighting the others.

"Save the questions for later," Deshiko replied, as she swatted another Enforcer away, this time with a chained botan. "At this moment, we have a bigger danger to worry about."

"Malware," Moka-sama, nodded, as she round-house kicked the enforcers all around them. "Then let's go!" and the two vampires ran towards Frankenstrike and Gin, unaware that a new element entered the battlefield.

Kuyou had watched from afar, listening to everything that had transpired moments ago. The existence of Aliens and their technology, as well as Malware's true intentions. He figured there was something else that the red and black creature had kept from him, and smirked in arrogant greed. The very notion of having a watch to transform himself into the most powerful alien forms only added more to his ambition as protector of the school.

However, his attention was focused on Akashiya, as he smirked, "I'll deal with Tennyson's execution later. Right now, it's time to take down the traitors of this school. Moka Akashiya for the crime of befriending a human…" and charged a fireball with power, as he aimed not just for Moka-sama, but also Deshiko, as his smirk grew more menacingly, "… and Deshiko Dashi for betraying the Security Enforcers."

Back with Malware

The two Newspaper Club students were handling Malware pretty well, as they were pushing their strength up to Malware pretty easily. The two were doing pretty well, even against the agitated Malware, as he hissed out, "Insolent Brats!"

"Yeah, well you…" Frankenstrike tried to insult him, but shook his head, "Ah forget it!"

"Hey, Ben," Gin aske,d as he grabbed Malware's head, pulling it back in a hold of sorts. "I gotta know… are you really a human?"

Frankenstrike raised an eyebrow, "Is this really a good time to ask?" Gin looked to him in a still want to know basis, and Frankenstrike groaned, "Alright, fine. I…"

"Nah, forget it," Gin shook his head, and smirked. "It's a rule not to reveal your true form, unless in circumstances like this. Besides, nobody in the club cares about what you are."

Frankenstrike smirked, "Thanks, Club Chief." But then he took notice of Moka-sama and Deshiko running towards them. Probably to help. But then he frowned, as he saw Kuyou not too far away, charging up a fire blast… and it was aimed for the two girls. He punched Malware aside iwht a charged fist, as he looked to Gin, "Gin! Toss me right at Moka and Deshiko! Now!"

"Alright," he nodded, and grabbed Frankenstrike's arm, circling for momentum for two rounds, and threw the Transylian right at the two.

Moka-sama and Deshiko blinked in confusion at that moment, as Frankenstrike was thrown right at them. He crashed into them, and threw them aside, just as Kuyou fired the blast right at him. Frankenstrike stood his ground, as he shouted, "Alright, I …" But then blinked as he heard the Omnitrix beeping. And in a flash, Ben stood there, blinking, and frowned at the Omnitrix, "Now? You time out right…"

But he didn't have time to ramble, as the Fire Blast hit Ben dead on. As the Enforcers were all knocked out, defeated, everyone heard Ben's screams of pain, as they turned to see what had happened. Ben's form flailed around, as he tried to do something, but the pain was clouding his mind at the moment. Until finaly, the fire died down, as Ben stood there, half char-broild, red and smoking with burns on his body. His jacket had been burnt badly, as his right sleeve was halfway gone, his shirt burnt in spots. He looked to be barely alive at the moment. His strength finally gave up on him, as he fell backwards, crashing into the ground of the roof, and lying still.

Everyone saw this, and immediately bolted right to Ben, as a hesitant Moka-sama blinked in shock, until finally ran faster than the others. Kuyou smirked at seeing his handiwork, "Excellent. Not what I intended for a public execution, but nevertheless. And as for that ridiculous pipe dream of Monsters and Humans coexisting with one another…" His smirk grew more menacing, as he observed the futile effort to save him, "… that dies along with him."

With the others, they surrounded Ben, who was barely holding it together, as he wheezed out struggled breathing. Moka-sama held him in her arms, trying to do what she could to make it easy for him. Gwen used her magic to scan his body, and when she was done, she shook her head, "It's no good. He's suffering from second degree burns, and his internal organs have been nearly cooked over. He doesn't even have long."

"Please, you've got to do something," Kurumu pleaded with her. "You had that spell book. There must be some kind of healing spell. Anything!"

Yukari looked to Kevin, and asked, "There must be something. Some kind of alien medical kit."

Kevin shook his head, as he looked at Ben, rather defeated in worry, "I'd need a Galvan Med Capsule just to stabilize his vitals. That, and probably a Restoration Fluid Tank from Pisciss. But I don't have anything like that here."

Ben coughed harshly, as eveyr breath he had was becoming difficult, as he opened his tired eyes, and looked to Moka. "Hey…" he said, with a weakened smirk, "Good to see… you're alright…"

"Don't talk, Benjamin," Moka-sama ordered, but her voice sounding rather shaky, "We're going to try and help. Maybe some kind of…"

"Right now, this isn't the time for miracles," Ben wheezed out, and then coughed violently. He then looked to everyone seriously, as he asked, "You guys… you're gonna have to… pull together on this… don't bicker and fight… work together." He looked to Kevin, as he smirked, "That means you too, Kevin…"

Kevin nodded, as Ben finally looked to Moka, and smiled to her, rather weakly, "You know what the best part of this school year was?" she nodded weakly, as he answered, "I got to meet all you guys… and…you..." But then stopped as he shuddered a bit, his breathing slowed down, as his eyes closed. And then he went limp, as a final breath escaped his lips. Ben Tennyson, the Bearer of the Omnitrix, had passed on.

Gwen hid her tears away, as she buried her face in a surprised Kevin.

Moka-sama lowered her gaze down, she set him down gently, as she placed her balled fists on her lap. She whispered, but loud enough for everyone else to hear, "Benjamin Tennsyon… you're nothing but an idiot. A useless, cocky, and headstrong idiot, even among humans."

Kurumu, who was crying at that moment, "Hey, you don't get to…" But then stopped herself, as she looked rather surprised.

Moka-sama's hands shook in her lap, even while her head was still gazing down an unseen by her bangs. But then suddenly, teardrops crashed onto her hands, as she finally spoke out again, "Why? Why did you do something that foolish and stupid? Save me?"

Back with Kuyou

The head of the Security Enforcers landed on the ledge of the roof, as he taunted out loud, "What's this? Is the vampire weeping for the demise of a worthless human? How pathetic."

"KUYOU!" the Enforcer's attention was drawn to Malware, as he walked towards him, and shouted in anger, "You idiot! If you've damaged the Omnitrix…"

"You bastards," Moka whispered out loud, as she got up, and looked to the two, more enraged then ever, as she screamed out, "I'M GONNA KILL YOU BOTH!" and in a flash, she kicked Malware off the roof, and round-house kicked Kuyou into the roof nearby. She was about ot charge after Kuyou but stopped, as she sensed something… a hearbeat. It was faint, but it was slowing at a crawl. She blinked in surprise, as she sensed it… coming back to Ben. 'Ben?' she thought to herself, but tehn looked serious as she rushed over, 'Maybe there's still a chance…' She shouted, "Everyone! There might be a way to save Ben! He's barely holding on."

As soon as she got there, she knelt down, as Kurumu asked, "Wait! What are you gonna do?"

She held Ben close, as she answered, "I'm going to give him my blood."

"Seriously," Kevin asked. "A transfusion? That's your best plan?"

"No, she's right," Yukari defended. "Vampires have incredible healing factors. If she gave him some of her blood, it might heal him."

Gwen was thrilled aobu thtat, but dreaded, "Wait, what are the odds it might not work?"

"Forget the odds," Kevin pointed out. "I've seen monster movies before. Wouldn't doing that turn him into a vampire too?"

Moka-sama looked to everyone, pretty angry, as she shot out, "If you have any better ideas, I'd like to hear them!"

But that went unanswered, as a huge explosion caught their attention. From the rooftop, a massive pillar of fire erupted, and out shot from it, a human-sized red eyed four tailed fox, its tails blazing with fire. And out from the fox's mouth, Kuyou's voice cackled, "AAAHAHAHA! I killed your weakling human friend! And now I'll kill the rest of you!"

Mizore blinked, "Is that Kuyou?"

"It is," Deshiko spoke out, gaining everyone's attention. "Master Kuyou's form is that of a Demon Fox. In ancient times, it was said that they were worshipped as Gods, due ot their flames being so hot and powerful. That power could rival that of a volcano eruption."

Kuyou laughed out loud, as his tails began to burn brighter, "I must say, Miss Akashiya, your power is fairly impressive. But they pale in comparison to my own!"

But then, suddenly flying on an alien wing jet back, Malware landed back on the roof. His arms morphed into clawed gauntlets with two laser barrels on the forearms, and two caster cannons on his shoulders. "No more stalling, no more obstacles," he hissed, as he walked towards the group, "I'll be taking the Omnitrix with me now."

Moka-sama sneered in desperation at this, as she held onto Ben close. But then blinked as she saw the others splitting up into groups. She asked, "What are you doing?"

Gwen answered, "We're gonna give you some time to heal Ben up."

"Are you crazy," Moka asked. "Kuyou's worse enough, but Malware… they'll both kill you."

Kurumu shook her head, "Nah, we're not gonna let that happen so fast."

Gwen looked to everyone, "Gin, Kevin, and Mizore: you three will be taking Malware." She then looked to Deshiko, "I need you to guard Moka while she's giving Ben the Transfusion." And then she looked to Kurumu and Yukari, "The rest of us will take Kuyou down. We need to buy her enough time for the transfusion to make it happen."

They all nodded, and attacked the two opposing forces. While they charged into battle, Moka-sama looked to Ben, and brought his neck close as she bit him. Only this time, she was pumping her blood into him. As she did this, her mind spoke up, as if she was speaking to him telepathically, or in some small way he could hear her, 'Benjamin… Ben… I give you my blood… live.' She could hear his heart slowly pumping, but not strongly enough, 'It's not enough. I need to give him more…' She opened her eyes just a little, looking at the others, 'Ben. Kuyou and Malware… they're going to kill everybody. You have to come back to us… Please.'

As Moka continued to transfer blood into Ben, no one, not even she, noticed that the Omnitrix's lens lit up yellow. And on it, a humanoid furnace figure appearing, indicating that a new Alien had been unlocked.
