The station was very busy. It felt like every person in the Mushroom kingdom was there. Peach was pacing backwards and forwards. Mario stood up and grabbed her arm. "Peach please, just sit down. She'll be here soon". They sat down. Peach sighed, "I know" she said "but its ten minutes late and I don't want her to think I didn't come and meet her". She put her head in her hands. Mario put his arms around her.
Luigi was stood against the wall. Why did we have to come here and this early too? He thought to himself. He looked at Peach and Mario; I wonder what secret they're hiding.
All of a sudden, a train whistle could be heard. Peach jumped up and ran to the platform. Mario turned to Luigi, "here we go again bro" and they ran after Peach.
The train came to a stop and the passengers got out. Peach was running through them with her arms out. "Daisy!" she shouted. A young girl with brown hair turned her head. "Peach!" she shouted back and ran towards her.
They both hugged for what seemed like an age. "I've missed you so much Peach" Daisy said. She was wearing a pair of white skinny jeans, orange pumps and a floaty orange top covered with daisies. "I've missed you too. I'm so glad you could come and stay with me" Peach said excitedly "It'll be just like the good old days".
Just then Mario and Luigi came running up. Peach turned to them. "Daisy, this is my good friend Mario, Mario, this is my cousin Daisy" she announced. Mario bowed "I'm pleased to meet you, your highness". Daisy squeezed his arm. "Please, just call me Daisy" she smiled. Peach turned to Luigi. "This is Mario's brother Luigi". However Luigi was looking at the clock in the station. Mario elbowed him in the ribs. "Ow! Mario, what was that for?" Luigi cried, and then he looked up and saw Daisy. "Hi, I'm Daisy, Peach's cousin" she waited for a response. "I-i-it's a pleasure to meet me, I mean you" Luigi stammered, while turning bright red.
Daisy laughed. "Thanks Luigi" she said with a smile. Daisy felt a small pull on her top, she looked down. It was Toadette. "Your highness, you left your phone on the train" she said. The young princess bent down. "Thanks Toadette, what would I ever do without you?" she hugged the little pink toad.
"Right" said Peach, "shall we go?" and they walked to the car park. Sir Toadsworth was in the front seat. He breathed a sigh of relive that everything was ok.
