" . . . " Bardock stood there, in worry of his son who had locked himself in his room, Gine, his mother, knocking on the door desperately and trying to console his son from behind walls, the backstage producers trying to keep the cameras and media out of the superstar's way.

Goku stood in disbelief in the middle of the room, ravaging into tears and loud cries of pain. He trembled an immense amount at the thought of Vegeta leaving his life. He had made an oath to himself to never cause him damage, and now, in an indirect way, he had done so. The tears erupting through and out of his eyes. What has he done?

"Goku! Please open the door!" Gine pleaded from behind the door.

"Please listen to your mother Goku!" Bardock pitched in.

The male cried in despair as he looked down at the ground, his knees on the floor. Even if he tried to get rid of the feeling, the only thing that raced through his mind was Vegeta. Vegeta . . . the love of his life. Vegeta, the beautiful prince. Vegeta . . . Vegeta . . . Vegeta. Goku then began to pant, gulping becoming difficult to do now as his throuat was extremely dry, like if he had just finished swallowing a big pill or a loaf of bread at it's entirety. The male then sat up as his vision blurred and un-blurred again and again, putting a hand to his heart as he sat up and began to walk to the bathroom. There was no other way out of this but one.

"Goku!" Gine cried from the door.

The big male pulled out a bottle of pills from behind the mirror, staring at his reflection as he closed it back. His eyes were red from crying, his cheeks now dirty from the salt water his eyes erupted with. Opening the bottle and beginning to pour out all of the contents within it into his hand, he then dropped the bottle as he finished and walked out of the room, pulling out a sheet of paper from his drawer and beginning to write on it in Japanese.

私は、ベジータごめんなさい

I'm sorry, Vegeta . . .

"Goku! Open the door please."

Taking the contents into his mouth right after, he then swallowed them down as the door was beginning to fall apart. Taking one last look around him, Goku sobbed once more.

"Vegeta . . . "

His body falling to the ground as the door hit the ground, his parents then ran to him and picked him up into their arms. All Goku could hear were small, instant cries of his parents and backstage cast running forward and back on the floor.

"Someone! Call the ambulance!" he could hear his father cry.

"Brace yourself, please honey!" Gine sobbed.

Goku let one more tear run down his cheek before his world went black.

. . .

"I'm sorry for yelling at you like that dad. I should have listened to you, Kakarot was a back stabbing cheater like you said." the prince looked down at the floor as his father seemed rather pleased at this.

"Son, you're forgiven, only because you have learnt your lesson."

Prince Vegeta looked up at his father then and smiled, sitting up and walking to the older male and embraced him tightly.

"Dad, thanks."

The king smiled slightly as he held his son back, running his fingers through his hair much alike a mother would do to try to cheer their child up. Vegeta bushed at the warmth of his father's arms embracing him a little tighter before releasing the bond and looking up at his dad again with a coy smile of happiness.

. . .

"Breaking news! Breaking news! From Methodist Hospital, Luna reports to us!."

Vegeta looked up from his journal in puzzlement. What could've happened now that the whole entire planet needed to know?

"Luna here reporting for VNN news in update of our current record breaking star, K-T."

The prince rolled his eyes as he hissed softly to himself. "Damn agrivating third class."

"The police seemed to have had a call come in for an ambulance out at Vega Field where our star K-T was performing today. As his manager says that K-T seemed to have had some type of drug overdose."

Vegeta's eyes widened as he dropped his pencil down and looked up at the screen, caught in complete shock. Goku? Overdose? Drugs?

The TV speakers let out a loud sound of ambulance sirens as the red and blue car raced to the emergency area.

"It looks as if the star has just arrived at the hospital! Let's go see what's going on!"

The cameraman and reporter then raced to the emergency drop off and caught a hold of a strange looking male that looked exactly like Goku, Bardock. Vegeta's eyes widened as he saw the female that seemed to have a strange connection to Goku run by the star's side in the medical bed.

"That woman!"

"Yes, I'm Goku's father, Bardock."

"Would you mind telling us what happened?"

His father then did a quick resume of what had happened back at the star's room, leaving Vegeta in complete shock.

"He also left back a letter before he did so . . . but we wish not to share it just yet."

"Are you accompanied today by anyone?"

Bardock took a breath, but then he got cut off by a medical official that had just finished examining Goku.

"Doc! What's of our star?"

"Goku . . . he's fighting for his life right now. He appears to be in a coma and his heartbeat is irregular, causing him to tense up and make his current state worse."

"Do you know what he overdosed on?"

"From what the backstage producers have found, dimenhydrinate."

Vegeta's heart stopped at this . . . dimenhydrinate was the worst drug to overdose on.

"Before Goku passed out, he mentioned a name." Bardock then interrupted.

The news reporter then went up to Goku's father, "What name?"

" . . . Vegeta."

The prince's heart stopped as soon as he heard this.

. . . . was it possible . . . could it be? Did Kakarot try to end his life?!
