"Out of my way damn it!" Vegeta yelled as he pushed doctors back, running to the room where he was instructed to go to by a nurse. He could feel his heartbeat rise as he got closer to his destination.

He didn't understand anything that was going on. Kakarot? Wanting to end his life? Why? Wasn't he happy with who he had gotten together with? That damned floozy? So many questions went through his head that he hadn't noticed that he had gotten to the end of the hallway. He took a left like instructed and was right away stopped by a bombard of fans crowding the hallway.

"Fuck -" Vegeta hissed.

There were many female saiyans, screaming and crying to see their star. They have all seen the news, and knew what was going on.

"Was it . . . my fault?" Vegeta questioned to himself as he stood behind the crowd with a worried expression. He took a deep breath and crossed his arms, tapping his foot against the ground. Right away, the saiyan women turned to see their prince. They right away bowed down, some gasping as they did. They then made room for Vegeta to pass.

"Thank you." The prince tilted his head up with pride, keeping his arms crossed as he began to walk towards the door, then reaching for the doorknob.

"It's locked." He sighed as he thought to himself. "Who wouldn't have guessed?"

Vegeta then knocked on the door to receive a response from within the room.

"Who is it?"

"It's your highness, Prince Vegeta. I demand to be let it."

"R-Right away!"

The door then unlocked and creaked open. Vegeta then walked in and closed the door after him, locking it. No noise was made from the fangirls behind the door, sort of as a sign of respect towards the prince's presence. He looked over and spotted Kakarot in life support and with an inhaler mask covering his mouth. The saiyan didn't look at all good, he looked weak, frail, and in the edge.

He looked to the other side to spot Bardock and -

"You . . . !"

The girl stood up right away and bowed. "I'm very proud to see your highness' presence here! I'm very glad you still care about our son."

Bardock also got up and bowed. "Your majesty, please allow us to explain who we are."

"I'm already confused enough with Kakarot deciding to take his life even though he has someone else -"

"You've got it all wrong your highness! I am Gine, Goku's mother!" The girl yelled.

Vegeta's eyes widen at hearing this, his breathing growing heavy.

"H-His . . . "

"Yes sir, Goku's mother." The female saiyan got up and looked at Vegeta, "I am very sorry for the mess I have caused, Goku spoke so much to us over you."

"H-He has?" The prince blushed.

"Not only did you rescue our son, you gave him a new outlook in life. He loves you and looks up to you so much, he'd take his life for you and would do anything to protect you." Bardock spoke up.

"You must be . . . "

"Yes, I'm his father, Bardock."

"He resembles you so much in the looks department. I confused you for him a couple a seconds ago."

Bardock chuckles.

"So . . . what I did was wrong after all."

"I understand you sir," Gine looked up at Vegeta. "I would act the same if I saw Bardock hanging around with another woman."

"You two . . . "

"Yes, we love each other truly." Bardock hugs Gine.

"True love rarely exists between us." Vegeta sighed, "All us Saiyans do is go after a mate during our season and then leave after it like it never happened."

"Our son loves you, he wishes to be with you for the rest of his life." Bardock looks up at Vegeta.

The prince sighs and begins to tear up. "I'm such a horrible person, I drove Kakarot to his edge."

"It's understandable prince, you haven't seen Goku at all these years and didn't know what was going on." Gine smiled, "We forgive you."

"Could I have a minute with him . . . please?"

Both parents nodded and then began to walk towards the door, the doctor following behind them. Vegeta kneeled down next to Goku's bed as as soon as he heard the door shut, he placed his hand against Kakarot's.

"Goku . . . " Vegeta whimpers as he speaks. "Can you hear me? I-I'm sorry I refused to listen to you. I should have given you time to speak." The prince then began to tear up, sniffing. "Please wake up my love, don't leave me. I wouldn't know what to do without you here. And after all these years of not seeing each other, we finally see each other again and - and I missed you so much. So so much."

Vegeta places a kiss on Goku's cheek as he sobs.

"I still have your locket, I played it every night before I went to sleep. I couldn't stop thinking about you everyday. I cried so much, I shedded tears every night for you. You mean so much to me."

He looks at Kakarot as he wiped his tears, pulling off the mask from Kakarot's nose and mouth before pressing his lips against Goku's.

Silence followed until Vegeta parted the kiss and put the mask back on Kakarot.

"Come back to me please." Vegeta whispers as tears run down his cheeks.

Twitches come from Goku's hand as soon as Vegeta finished speaking. The prince's eyes widened as he intertwined his fingers around Kakarot's.

"Can you hear me Goku?" Vegeta sobbed.

"P-Please . . . don't cry . . . you look much better without those tears . . . show me . . . your . . . s-smile my love . . . "
