So, this is the final chapter of Pokemon Unova Adventure. I can't believe how quickly this story went by (since I came back at the end of May), and I'm kind of sad to see it end. But when one door closes, another opens. Now, for the last time in Kalos, let's see what happens!

Owen's team (none)

Owen laid down by the lake in his backyard in silence. After losing his second championship appearance earlier in the day, his parents dropped a bombshell on him. Were they even his parents? At least by law they were.

"Owen, you're adopted."

The words rang in his head and the moment continued to replay over and over and over again. It was all so sudden and unexpected. Even his parents… or 'parents' seemed surprised by the news. Apparently, they had adopted him when he was a newborn, but that didn't make him feel better. In fact, it made him feel worse. His real parents gave him up to complete strangers. Just the thought of doing that to his own child sickened the teen, and he sat up in frustration before leaning against a tree.

"I can't believe it… I'm adopted." The amber eyed boy buried his face into his hands, making him unaware of the eyes staring at him. "Why? WHY!?"

After arriving at his house, Owen fell onto his bed and screamed into his pillow. Had there not been a pillow, most of the town would've thought he was being murdered.

"Owen, can I come in?" his 'mother' asked quietly. The teen grunted in response, so his mother slowly made her way into the room. "I know all of this information is sudden and all," she started, trying to find something else to say. She was speechless, however, and sighed sadly. "Here. This is a letter about your birthmother," the woman said as she placed an envelope on Owen's bed.

The fourteen year old carefully opened the letter before reading it over quickly. After rereading it, Owen dropped the letter on the ground and looked at the woman sitting in his room.

"Where's the Kalos region?" Owen inquired.

"It's very far west from here, but it's closer than Unova. That's where your mother is." Owen looked down at the envelope on the floor and then at the woman sitting at the end of his bed.

"I'm going to find her."

"Good. You deserve to know who she is. Just let me help you pack for the trip."

"Owen, what are you doing here?" Professor Samuel Oak inquired while scratching his head. "I said that I needed you to watch the lab, not come with me to Kalos." Owen shrugged nonchalantly while petting his Arcanine.

"I know, but I figured you could use some company. Besides, I've got some business to attend to in Kalos," Owen replied, which caught Charizard's attention. The winged lizard was only a few feet away from his trainer, and he didn't like the way he was talking.

"Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to have somebody to talk to during the flight. It's settled then. We'll head for Kalos tonight!" the elderly man declared before walking into his laboratory, leaving Owen outside with his Pokemon.

"I'm coming for you, mom and dad. There's no way you can hide forever."

"Everybody, I'm going to be gone for a while in a region called Kalos. I don't know when I'll be back, so be good for Gary," Owen told all of his Pokemon from the five regions he visited. All of the Pokemon nodded back in response except for Charizard, who stared at his trainer. "Bye, guys!" With that, Owen stepped into a limousine out front the laboratory, and all of the Pokemon waved as the car pulled away. Charizard watched as the car disappeared, and he let out steam from his nostrils. After seeing that all of the other Pokemon went back to their usual activities, Charizard took to the sky and flew after the car.

Wherever Owen was going, it didn't sound good. And Charizard wouldn't let him go alone.

So there is the incredibly short finale of Pokemon Unova Adventure! I'm sorry if the reasoning for Owen going to Kalos is "stupid" or "bad", but believe me, Kalos is going to get really intense when it comes to Owen's family. So, for the last time in Unova, peace out.
