AN: A long author's note, so I'd appreciate it if everyone read it :P

First, I'm very sorry for not updating in a while. Unfortunately with all the crazy weather and making up school work and stuff, I barely had time to sit down and actually write. Not to mention that my LE copy of Danganronpa came in yesterday even though it was supposed to come like...years ago :P Hope you guys are enjoying the English release!

Next, Sushii-Sushii drew another fantastic picture! This time it's of Mirai, and it looks great, so I urge everyone to take a look at it, drop a comment or something, download it, admire it, and absolutely love it.

This goes without saying but if you're confused about any of this please PM me or leave it down in the reviews. In this chapter, it's especially confusing, since I did my best to end the chapter and upload it so you guys can read it.

I would like to mention that while Yoshinori being a robot was intended from the beginning, I should have made it more obvious that she was. Obviously not completely obvious, but the kind of vagueness that sort of surrounded Nanami and what she really was. It was my fault as the writer of this story, so I'm sorry if this DID seem like it came out of nowhere, because I really wanted to drop hints which I completely failed to do.

Memento Mori was more inspired by Persona 3 and the fact that she was a robot was sort of a homage to the first Danganronpa with Fukawa's "reveal." Zero Escape sounds interesting though. KIREI: W-well, what do you remember?

YOSHINORI: I just know...that I'm not human. I don't really know why you all were sent down here, and are being forced to kill each other. I know my name of course.

YOSHINORI: It's...strange.

MIRAI: ...If you were sent to spy on us...do you know things about any of us?

YOSHINORI: ...I can probably profile everybody if I wanted to.

KEIKO: Really?

KAITO: So is it possible that the ones who weren't affected will remember more about themselves?

MONOKUMA: I'll answer that with a resounding no! If it's taking this long, you probably won't remember anything!

MIRAI: O-oh...I see...okay. Then, we should move back to the a-actual murders, right..?

KEIKO: Mirai...

MIRAI: It's fine! It's fine.

UNMEI: Well, we already have a lead on Takayashi's death. Should we start there?

NOAH: The only possible way for Takayashi to have been killed...is by being eaten by those animals in the pound, correct?

KAITO: Yeah. We established that before.

KEIKO: So what does this mean..?

SHOUGO: Maybe...we shouldn't be looking too much into how it actually happened.

KEIKO: Is that too difficult..?

NOAH: The killer would've needed an amicable amount of luck. I don't think diving directly into the murder is wise.

UNMEI: Okay...so is there any evidence that was strange or out of place?

KEIKO: Mirai...do you remember anything?

MIRAI: Um...I think so. I was searching the cages, and...hmm...

KEIKO: Yeah..?

MIRAI: ...I remember, there was a really long piece of string that was connected from all of the cages.

NOAH: A piece of string..?

SHOUGO: I remember that. It was probably a few bundles of string tied together. Though someone would have needed a lot of time to do that.

KIREI: C-couldn't the string just have been there already..?

KEIKO: We probably would have noticed on our visit to the pound though.

UNMEI: Um, on that note, there's something I want to go over.

KEIKO: What is it?

UNMEI: When we wandered into the animal pound the first time...it was filled with animals.

KEIKO: ...And there weren't any when we discovered Takayashi's body, is that what you're saying?

UNMEI: Yeah. I'm a little confused on...well, where they could've gone.

KAITO: Where they could have gone, huh?

YOSHINORI: Weren't they let out of their cages..?

NOAH: Well obviously, then we would have seen them around the second dome...

YOSHINORI: Maybe they...managed to crawl out of the submarine pen, thingy?

MIRAI: ...But, then it would have been even harder for the killer to get out of her situation.

YOSHINORI: Right...so, what gives?

MIRAI: ...It's probably something to do with Monokuma.

MONOKUMA: Ho?

MIRAI: The only one who could have possibly gotten rid of those animals are you, right..?

MONOKUMA: No, no, no! I did not get rid of those animals!

MIRAI: ...Then was it Meowykins..?

MONOKUMA: Are you sure..? Meowykins isn't here right now!

KEIKO: But if you didn't do it, then Meowykins could be the only one.

MONOKUMA: Yeah, well, he's gone! I got rid of him.

NOAH: So you or Meowykins didn't have anything to do with this case..?

MONOKUMA: …

MONOKUMA: Oh, fine. You caught me.

KEIKO: So the animals are missing because of you two?

NOAH: In short, Monokuma got rid of the animals, so that they wouldn't endanger us, is that true?

MONOKUMA: It wasn't just because I cared for your safety. In fact, I couldn't care less at all.

MONOKUMA: The real reason I did...well, that's a mystery, isn't it?

KEIKO: The real reason that you got rid of the animals..?

FURO: I don't know if there's any real reasons except just to simply get rid of them...

MONOKUMA: Are you sure..? Upupupu!

MONOKUMA: So it's clear that I was involved with this case now...But how? Figure it out!

KEIKO: ...Why Monokuma was involved with this case..? Or how..?

MIRAI: Maybe we can connect two pieces of evidence together..?

KAITO: There wasn't much evidence to see though. Not for Takayashi anyways.

UNMEI: There wasn't much for Ryoko either...

UNMEI: Monokuma, you weren't involved with Ryoko's death either, right?

MONOKUMA: Well, I'm not allowed to really give a helping hand to the killer unless it's absolutely necessary.

MONOKUMA: So I think you can figure out that by yourself!

KEIKO: How was Monokuma involved with Takayashi's death..?

KEIKO: We just need to connect two pieces of evidence together. Okay, that should be...sort of easy.

NOAH: There's no reason for the killer to have put the tarp over the killer's body like that...is that what you are saying?

KEIKO: Yeah. What do you think?

NOAH: It's probably true...since the fact that there shouldn't have been a reason to cover the body up with the tarp.

SHOUGO: But it could just be coincedence, don't you think? Plus, then we aren't really figuring out why Monokuma himself put the tarp over Takayashi's body.

KEIKO: But if we don't accept this theory, then the tarp would have just been there to be there, right?

NOAH: That's...true. Is there anything else you can point out, though?

KEIKO: Something about the tarp that proves Monokuma planted it? Well, that's easy!

KAITO: Sure, okay...but then we still don't know why Monokuma would have placed the tarp on her body.

MIRAI: Well, if you think about it, the fact that the tarp was on top of Takayashi's body could have been to censor what actually happened.

KEIKO: If the killer tied all the pieces of string together like that, and then suddenly pulled...all the cages would unlock, right?

MIRAI: On top of that, even if all the cages didn't unlock, at least one would have to.

YOSHINORI: It's...possible, I guess, what you're saying. If you're right it makes the length of the string and the knots make sense...but what about the RC car?
