Chapter 28: The Final Battle
*IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!* Hey guys, I'm back and this story is alive! It's great that you guys support this story but there's a few things I gotta tell you: 1: I really don't care about reviews, but let's get this story to 100 and I really don't care what review you leave me. It could be 'nice chapter' or 'awesome fight' or even 'cool'. But after that, I don't really care about reviews. 2: I've decided to write the final battle in one chapter, so this chapter might be long. So after the battle, I'm gonna do the party and tournament at the end of the series and the movies, even Battle of Gods! So enough of that, let's read!
Buu sped towards Gohan, who was ready to attack, but Vegeta cut him off and punched the monster in the cheek. Buu cackled and slammed his knee in Vegetas' ribs, followed by a sick cracking noise. The prince gasped in pain while Buu did an uppercut to him, sending the prince flying. Now it was Gohan's turn to attack. With a battle cry, the eldest son of Goku charged at the monster, who smirked and fired multiple ki blasts. Gohan dodged left and right while making his way towards him. Buu growled at his speed and also charged. Once they met, they started to exchange blows in the air while Vegeta looked from the distance.
"How can that brat hold him off?" He asked to himself, clutching the side of his stomach. "I couldn't even hold him off for two seconds!" Gohan and Buu broke apart before colliding with each other again. "They can't make me look like a fool!" Vegeta powered up and flew towards the battle ground. Meanwhile, Buu managed to get a hit on Gohan but the demi-saiyan elbowed him on the side of his head, followed by a blow to the stomach. Buu's cheeks puffed from the blow but started to laugh. Gohan's eyes widened a bit but narrowed them down and kicked Buu in the head, sending him crashing to a nearby mountain. Vegeta flew past Gohan and into the crash site. Gohan looked behind him to notice Dende, Kibito Kai, and Elder Kai hiding.
"Kibito Kai! Take them someplace safe!" He shouted, making the Kai nod. In a flash, they were gone. In the meantime, Vegeta started to get beat on by Buu. His lip and forehead was bloody and his ribs hurt like hell. Buu sniggered while he fired another ki blast near his stomach. Vegeta screamed in pain while colliding with the dirt. "Vegeta!" Buu looked up, but his head was met with a knee, thanks to Gohan. He ignored the pain and beat on his chest like a gorilla. Gohan raised an eyebrow while slamming his foot in his opponents' stomach. Buu grabbed his foot, spun him around, and threw him in the air. Gohan stopped until Buu followed and dug his fist in his stomach, making the demi-saiyan cough up blood. The pink monster grabbed his head, pushed it down, and fired. Gohan grunted as he collided with the ground beneath him. He shook the dizziness out of his head and fired a simple ki beam. Buu swatted it away and laughed, which stopped when he spotted Gohan inches away from him. Gohan nailed Buu in his head, grabbed his antenna, and bit it. Buu screamed in pain until he grabbed his arm and also bit it. Gohan grunted and dropped the monster, rubbing his arm in the process. After rubbing his tentacle, Buu looked up and saw that the demi-saiyan wasn't there! He turned around and saw Gohans' palm inches away from his face with a ki ball. He fired and Buu screamed while disintegrating. Gohan shrugged on how easy that was until he noticed little pink spots spinning around him. He gulped until he screamed in pain when Buu reformed and wrapped around his body like a snake. The more he struggled, the more his grip tightened. With one move, he powered up, making Buu unwrap himself and cover his eyes. Gohan started to punch and kick him in a fast pace, making Buu only take the beating.
"Now you die!" Buu laughed when he caught Gohans' fist. He kneed him in the stomach and punched him in the cheek. Gohan grunted and punched him in the hip. Buu summoned a ki blast, Gohan doing the same. They both fired at the same time, creating a huge explosion. Hercule looked in horror and awe at the scene while Vegeta sat back up.
"Why am I so weak?!" He snarled. "I won't be beaten so easily!" With a scream, Vegeta powered up to super saiyan two and charged at the little monster. Sensing his energy, Gohan shoved Buu in the path where he prince was coming from. Before he could move, Vegeta slammed his shoulder onto Buu's back, making him cry in pain. The prince turned him around and started to beat him like a punching bag. Gohan cupped his hands to the side, signaling Vegeta to move.
"KA-ME-HA-ME…" He chanted. Vegeta, hearing the chant, punched Buu one more time before jumping to the side. "HA!" Buu's eyes widened as the blast hit him dead on. It exploded, sending smoke everywhere. Gohan panted while Vegeta huffed. "…He's not dead…" Gohan was right. The smoke turned to pink and spun until Buu reformed yet again. "He…just…won't…stay down…"
"What's wrong with you?!" Vegeta demanded, making Gohan shake his head. "You're panting like crazy!" Gohan gulped and sat up straight.
"Vegeta…." Gohan panted. "I don't know how to tell you this, but I'm tired." Vegeta's eyes widened while Buy laughed at them from below. "I need you to hold him off for a minute to for me to get my energy back. Think you can do it?" Vegeta looked back and forth between Buy and Gohan before nodding. "Good luck." Vegeta nodded again and sped towards Buy, who motioned him to get him. Vegeta growled and started to exchange blows with the monster. Gohan looked from the distance and had to admit that despite Vegeta getting his ass handed to him, he wouldn't quit. Vegeta and Buu broke apart until Vegeta powered up and landed a few good shots at him. Buu dodged his punch and kneed him in the stomach, sending the saiyan flying. He flipped back to his feet, not knowing that Buu was behind him until he kicked him on the back of his neck. Vegeta spat out blood while Buu gave him a headbutt and kicked him on the head. Buu cackled at the beaten up prince and focused his attention back on Gohan.
"H-How dare you…" Vegeta managed to croak out. Buu turned around to face him in disbelief. "I-I'm the p-prince of all saiyans. Do you really think you're tough?! I'LL KILL YOU!" Vegeta powered up to level two and charged at him. Buu jumped behind him and stuck his tongue out, angering the prince. He grabbed his hands and started to push, Vegeta doing the same. Buu broke it up when he kicked Vegeta in the chin, flew in the air, and did a hammer fist. Vegeta crashed onto the ground, then Buu fired multiple ki blasts in his area creating an explosion.
"Vegeta!" Gohan shouted, making Buu face him. The monster started to dance in victory and let out a high laugh.
"What's so funny…?" A voice asked in pain. Buu stopped his dancing and looked at the giant crater he formed to see Vegeta climbing up from it. Gohan looked at the prince in awe while Buu looked in horror and disbelief. "What're you gawking at? What did you think? A move like that couldn't stop me!" Buu growled in frustration while veins formed around his body. "You're nothing but a fool! I am a warrior! The saiyan prince…" He powered up to super saiyan. "Vegeta!" He was too fast for him and punched Buu in the face and kicked him in the gut. Kid Buu growled and landed a good knee to the gut, sending Vegeta a mile away. His arm stretched and it wrapped around his throat, choking the life out of him. Gohan growled and wanted to help, but somehow, his power wasn't at its fullest yet. Buu cackled and started to toss him around like a ragdoll; throwing him around rocks and mountains. He let him go and his hand formed a giant fist and pushed him to the ground.
"Vegeta, I'm almost done!" Gohan reassured. Vegeta sat up and rubbed his throat, gulping for air.
"Hurry and finish the job you started!" He yelled until a hand grabbed his throat and hung him from the sky. Buu laughed and formed a ki blast in his other hand ready to obliterate Vegeta until a voice stopped him from doing so.
"Hey! Majin Buu!" Mr. Satan called out to the monster. Buu let Vegeta go and turned to face the world champion. Gohan sweat dropped and looked at him in confusion.
"He's still here?!" He shouted in confusion. "Damn it, Kibito Kai!" Hercule started to show off his moves by kicking and punching the air before doing a flip and landing a few feet away from Buu.
"I'm gonna pound you to the ground!" He shouted in victory while giving Buu a thumbs down. "Now, let's see how you do against the world champ!" He stared at him for a moment before taunting and running away, stopping at least a half of a mile away. "What's the matter?! Is the all mighty Buu afraid of me?!" A tear dripped from his eye, showing he still feared him. Buu growled and charged at him. Hercule shrieked and ducked in cover, but impact never came. He looked up to notice Buu clutching his head in pain while giving out a scream.
"What's going on?" Gohan asked to himself. "Why is he suddenly acting like this? He doesn't seem to be doing anything."
"Gohan! Idiot! What're you doing?!" Vegeta snarled as he sat up. "You should be using this time to power up!" Gohan nodded and powered up. Meanwhile, Buu continued to clutch his head until he swirled his mouth around and spat something out. With a puff, the original Majin Buu came tumbling a few feet away from them. Gohan and Vegeta looked in shock while Hercule looked in confusion.
"Majin Buu!" Hercule ran over to his friend with Bee close behind. "Majin Buu' it's me Mr. Satan! Please wake up buddy." He continued to shake him awake while his eyes started to water. "You saved me again, didn't ya? Y-You kept him from attacking me….Please Buu, you're the only friend I have." The scene was interrupted by the cackle of Kid Buu. Hercule stood up and pointed at him with a scowl on his face. "Hey you! You'll pay for what you did to my friend! I'll defeat you!" Buu made his way towards him, making the world champ sweat nervously. "You don't think I can?!" He got into a stance until Buu was a few inches from his face and lightly tapped his nose. Hercule was sent flying back and rubbed his nose in pain. Kid Buu laughed at his stupidity until a very familiar voice stopped him.
"You no pick on Hercule!" Majin Buu yelled, making everyone look at him. Bee barked in happiness. "BEE!" Buu squealed while petting the puppy. He then looked at Kid Buu and frowned. "You leave friends alone!" Kid Buu charged at him and kicked him in the face. Majin Buu stopped and shot himself like a bullet, landing on Kid Buu's chest. Using his stretched arm, Kid Buu grabbed his tentacle, spun him around, and let him crash. Majin Buu stood up and fired ki blasts at his evil self, but Kid Buu blocked them all and sent one of his own. Majin Buu dodged and charged at him, punching him in the face chopping him in the neck. Kid Buu, using this opportunity, wrapped his arm around his neck and tightened the grip. Majin Buu was able to let out a few breathes but Kid Buu fired a blast that went through his stomach. He let him go and kicked him towards a nearby cliff. Hercule and Bee ran to his aid while Gohan thought of something.
"Vegeta," Gohan landed next to the full blooded saiyan. "I have a plan: I can use a Kamehameha to destroy him!" Vegeta rolled his eyes.
"Like a million other people didn't come up with that one." Vegeta sarcastically replied. "But you need to make it more powerful, but how?" Gohan shrugged, making Vegeta growl.
"By using everyone's energy." Goku answered, apeearing next to Gohan. Gohan and Vegeta looked at Goku in confusion. "It's like the spirit bomb, but in Kamehameha version. King Kai told me about it. I've actually tried it myself, but it was too powerful for me." Goku nervously laughed until he heard the laughter of Kid Buu. "I'll hold him off, you focus on getting energy." Goku turned super and charged at the majin.
"But…how?" Gohan asked Vegeta, who shrugged in response.
"Gohan, are you there?" Dende asked through a mind link.
"Dende, I'm here." Gohan replied. "What's up?"
"I'm on Namek and we just summoned Porunga." He cheered. "Our first wish is to wish back everyone who was killed by Majin Buu and transport them to Earth." Gohan sighed in relief.
"What is it?"
"They wished back everyone who was killed by Majin Buu and transport them to Earth." Gohan replied. Vegeta stood up and Gohan noticed that his halo was gone. "See, you're alive!" He turned his attention to the fight between his dad and Buu. "Dad! Dende wished everyone back to life!" Goku nodded until he was punched by Buu and he followed. "Dende use the second wish to…"
"That won't be necessary." King Kai spoke, making Gohan and Vegeta look up at the sky. Goku also heard him and smiled, but it dropped when he noticed Buu firing ki blasts at him. "You can use me to talk to the people of the Earth. I'm sure it would work." Gohan nodded and floated in the air, his hands raised in the air.
"Everyone! You need to listen to me, I need you all to raise your hands in the air! The Earth, no, the whole universe is in danger! Please!" Gohan shouted. In a minute, he felt some power flow through him and noticed that his hands were glowing bright blue.
"There you go! But you need more energy!" Goku yelled while dodging a blast.
(Soundtrack: 30 Seconds To Mars: This Is War)
Gohan nodded and spoke again.
"Everyone please!" He begged, but only got a hint of energy. "They're not listening! Damn it, this is serious! The whole Earth is in trouble if you don't raise your hands!"
"Let me try!" Vegeta barked before clearing his throat. "People of the Earth….RAISE YOUR HANDS UP RIGHT NOW OR YOU ALL ARE GOING TO DIE!" Hercule and Bee, who were behind him, fell down at his rant. Gohan felt more energy flow through him, but it wasn't enough.
Meanwhile down on Earth, everyone who didn't raise their hands were looking up at the sky to find the voice that spoke to them. The people who raised their hands were looked at like they were crazy.
"Everyone! Put your damn hands up right now!" Junior shouted on top of a building with Taro next to him. Everyone looked at them in confusion and disbelief, some looked at him in anger because of his fowl mouth. "It's not working." He turned to face Taro. "What should we do?" Taro simply grabbed a news camera, where they were filming a report for the hidden voice, and aimed it at Junior.
"Transform." Taro whispered, making Junior nod. With a grunt, Junior turned super and earned shocking looks from everyone. They looked to notice that they were on a jumbo screen in the middle of the crowd.
"It's the delivery boy from the Cell Games!" Someone yelled.
"Yeah, it's me! And I'm telling you all to put your hands up right now!" Junior shouted, making a lot of people raise their hands. Junior looked up at the sky and smiled. "Go get'em Dad."
Back on Surpreme Kai's world, Gohan felt a ton of energy flow through him and he smiled at how brighter his hands glowed.
"Go get'em Dad." He heard Junior cheer. He smiled until he heard a lot of familiar voices in his head.
"Kick his butt, Gohan." Goten cheered.
"Good luck kid." Piccolo said.
"I love you, Gohan." Videl said, making Gohan blush.
"Make me proud, son." Gohan looked at Goku, who smiled and nodded. Buu was seen in a pile of rubble, trying to escape free.
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but you've done your race proud." Vegeta bluntly said, making Gohan chuckle. Buu screamed in rage when he emerged from the rubble. Goku looked at him and also screamed as he powered up, his hair growing longer.
"It's still not enough." Gohan grunted. Hercule marched towards him and laughed proudly.
"Let me talk to the people. They'll listen to me!" He bellowed, making Gohan roll his eyes but nod. "Everyone! This is your world savior, Mr. Satan! I need y'all to raise your hands to help my friend here! The Earth is in danger!" Gohan raised an eyebrow until he felt he had enough energy in his Kamehameha. "Go kid!"
"Dad, it's ready!" Gohan shouted. Goku nodded and put Buu in a full nelson. "What're you doing?! Get out of the way!" Goku shook his head while Gohan cupped his hands to the side.
"Trust me, I'll be fine!" Goku shouted back before focusing on Buu, who struggled to get out. "It's been great fighting you…"
"KA-ME…" Gohan began, a blue misty aura surrounding him.
"If you'd come back as a good guy, you'll be a great challenge for Gohan…"
"HA-ME…"
"You were awesome! See ya!"
"HA!" Goku let Buu go and jumped to the side as the wave came was shooting towards them. Buu screamed as the wave made impact at him, his body breaking into pieces. With one final scream, Buu disintegrated when the wave exploded, sending rock, ash, and smoke everywhere. Gohan slowly settled on the ground, panting while Vegeta stood next to him.
"We did well, huh?" Gohan weakly asked. Goku arrived next to them, giving them a thumbs up. Gohan copied. Vegeta smiled and also gave a thumbs up, making Gohan and Goku laugh.
Up on the lookout, everyone was gathered around, looking for their loved ones. Junior found Videl, who embraced her for a while. He then found Chi Chi, who nearly strangled him. When he found Goten, out of all the people he hugged, that scene with him was the saddest. Goten sobbed when they hugged and Junior held the urge to tell him 'Grow up…' but he also missed him, even though they haven't seen each other for at least three hours. Trunks reunited with Bulma, who also comforted Taro, which was awkward for him and Trunks.
"Thanks again, Kibito Kai." Gohan bowed when Kibito Kai dropped him, Dende, Vegeta, Hercule, Bee, and Majin Buu at the lookout. Goku was also with them but couldn't stay on Earth due to his time being up. "I'll hope to see you soon." The Kai nodded and left.
"Gohan, get over here." Goku said with a serious look on his face. Gohan gulped and made his way towards his father, who embraced him with a hug. "I'm proud of you. Tell everyone I said 'Hi', and I love them, and I'll see you soon." Gohan let go and nodded.
"Bye Dad." He waved.
"Goodbye son." With that, Goku returned to otherworld, waving goodbye before using I.T. Gohan waved before nodding towards Vegeta, who did the same. When they emerged from the side of the lookout, their family ran towards them.
"Dad/Gohan!" Junior, Goten, Chi Chi, and Videl cried as they hugged him. Gohan picked Junior up and placed him on his shoulder. Goten playfully pouted until Gohan picked him up and did the same. Trunks grabbed Vegeta's hand and smiled while Bulma gave a thumbs up.
"You jerk." Videl whispered with tears in her eyes, making Gohan chuckle. Gohan turned to face everyone else before Hercule also emerged from the side of the lookout. Videl let go of Gohan and ran towards her Dad. "Dad!"
"V-Videl!?" Hercule cried in awe. They hugged before Hercule remembered he hasn't introduced someone yet. "Oh, that's right…" Hercule pointed to Buu, who stood next to him. Everyone, besides Gohan and Vegeta, looked in shock.
"BUU!" Everyone shouted. Junior and Goten jumped off Gohans' shoulders and got into a stance, Taro and Trunks joining.
"Everyone calm down!" Gohan reassured, earning looks from everyone. "This Buu's good, he's not evil. He actually helped us defeat his evil self." Junior and Trunks looked at him before dropping their stance.
"Well…" Bulma began as she walked to the center of the lookout with Gohan. "Since the Earth is safe once again, it's time for a party!" The four chibis pumped their fists in the air while everyone else nodded.
In Capsule Corp, the backyard was filled with tables of foods and drinks for the guests. Music boomed from speakers, making some of the guests dance. Goten and Trunks ate away while Junior sat by himself, eating plates of food. Taro joined him and had concern written on his face.
"What's wrong?" He asked. Junior shrugged. "It's a party! You should be dancing! Playing!" Gohan patted Taro's shoulder when he passed him and put a hand on his sons' shoulder. The music was too loud for him to hear what they were talking about. They left and headed outside to spot Videl waiting for them.
"Enjoying the party?" Gohan asked as he kissed her on her forehead. Videl nodded. "Junior here has no one to dance with…" Junior gave his Dad a look of anger and confusion. "Mind if you dance with him?"
"Of course." Videl grabbed his hand and walked to the dance floor. Gohan smiled until he heard rustling in the bushes to spot Piccolo sniffing a flower. It took all of his will power to not burst out laughing. On the dance floor, Videl and Junior danced while Trunks rolled his eyes at them.
"Come on Mr. Boredom." Bulma dragged Vegeta to the dance floor, much to his embarrassment. Trunks gave them a look before continuing eating with Goten. After dancing, everyone gathered around a table to eat dessert, which was chocolate ice cream, cake, and pudding.
"Come on Dad, tell us the time when you and those orphans escaped the police." Junior begged. Gohan laughed nervously when he earned a scowl from his mother and Bulma.
"Well, alright…" While Gohan told his story, Vegeta looked at the sunset in the horizon. Yep, its days like these where a day off from saving the world is worth it.

That's enough for me to call that a review. Dbzwwe99 had a good point in his rant, but I love you all (as fans) I would never continue writing if it wasn't for you all.
