Chapter 30: Yo! Son Goku and his Friends Return!

Gohan grunted when Kai punched him across the face before planting a knee in his stomach. The eldest son of Goku charged at him, but Kai stepped aside and fired a ki blast at him. Piccolo, who was watching from the sidelines, shook his head in disappointment at his student. He's been going soft lately, ever since the fight after Majin Buu.

"You're too slow, if I were the enemy I would've killed you." Kai snapped when Gohan stood back up from the blast, "You have to be faster than this! Try to dodge this…" He fired another ki blast and Gohan jumped out of the way. He nodded in approval before shooting two more. The demi-saiyan dodged them, but the familiar eye beams from Piccolo made him collapse to the floor. He yelped while patting his flaming butt.

"Now what if it were two opponents?" Piccolo remarked while taking his turban and cape off. He and Kai got into a battle stance, making Gohan gulp. Meanwhile near the Son house, Junior fiddled with his fingers when he heard his Dad yelp and cry from pain. Good thing it wasn't him! Chi Chi was cooking dinner in the house for three hungry saiyans and Goten was running around in the woods, trying to catch bugs or any sort of animal. Kai didn't eat anything his grandma made. He believed it was too much work for her and ate anything he caught in the pound or hunted. He rarely lived at the house, he'd mostly live wherever he came from or near the lookout. Much like Piccolo, he also rarely slept.

"Man, I'm so bored." Junior mumbled, his eyes finding the grass magnificent. When Goten asked him to go bug hunting with him, he declined, much to his disappointment. At first, he wanted to spar with his Dad, but when he found out that Piccolo and Kai were gonna help, he backed out. Piccolo and Kai were tough to spar with. They would fight you like they were gonna kill you, they'd use dirty tactics, like those eye beams.

"Alright, that's enough for today." Piccolo said. Gohan sighed in relief and wiped the sweat off his forehead. "You need to be faster and more focused! We'll do this again tomorrow!" He turned to face Kai and nodded. "Thanks for your help, Kai."

"No problem, Piccolo." He replied before the namekian blasted off back to the lookout. He looked at Gohan, who started to return home, and nodded. "Boy's becoming stronger, but is it still enough?" Kai sighed before walking back into the fields to meditate. After getting cleaned up, Gohan went to his room to contact Videl. During this time, Junior jumped through the window, which was opened, and landed on his feet. Gohan looked in shock while Videl clapped in amazement from the computer. Junior bowed before Gohan shook his head.

"What're you doing?" He asked while raising an eyebrow. Junior replied by laughing nervously before standing next to his Dad and waved to Videl.

"Hi, Mom!" He chirped. Videl waved back, "So, what're you two talking about?" Gohan opened his mouth to speak, but Videl cut him off.

"I was just telling Gohan that my Dad is throwing a party in his new hotel. I was asking if you guys could come! All of you!" She replied. Junior looked at his dad with excitement. Gohan smiled before nodding at him, making Junior jump in glee. "There'll be food and entertainment!"

'Well, we have to see if it's alright with my Mom, you know how she is." Gohan said frowning. "But, Dad is supposed to visit tomorrow, I'm sure he'd like to come." Videl nodded.

"Gohan! Junior! Goten! Dinner is ready!" Chi Chi called from downstairs. Junior ran to the bottom of the steps while Gohan chuckled.

At the dinner table, everyone was eating in peace until Goten brought up a topic that made Junior blush in embarrassment.

"When we were in the city last week, Junior saw a girl." Goten chirped while eating his rice. Gohan and Chi Chi looked at Junior, who hid his face. "She was awfully pretty! But the weird thing was that she wasn't wearing clothes, only her underwear and bra. And there were a lot of people taking photos of her." Chi Chi gasped, Gohan couldn't help but laugh, and Junior glared at his uncle.

"Yeah, and Goten here wanted to know if he could do that too." Junior mumbled. Gohan laughed harder.

"Okay…let's talk about something else…" Chi Chi growled out. (A/N: I don't know why I added that moment.) Gohan stopped his laughter and looked at his mom, his memory coming back to him. He stuffed rice in his mouth, swallowed, then spoke.

"That reminds me! Mom, Videl is having a party at her Dad's new hotel. She wanted to know if we could come for the grand opening!" He exclaimed, earning an exhausted look from his mother, "I'm sure Dad would like to see everyone again! I mean, it's been two years since we last saw him." Chi Chi sighed.

"I don't know Gohan, with all the media and that lying Mr. Satan himself, I'm just not sure." She sighed again. Her kids and grandchild frowned before her eldest spoke up again.

"Videl told her Dad to NOT let any media get in the hotel. It'll be just us and the Z gang. Please?" Gohan then leaned over and whispered in Goten's ear. With a nod, Goten looked up at his Mom and gave her the puppy dog look. Chi Chi was about to retort, but the look her son was giving her made her nod.

"Okay, we'll go." She replied, "But, we've got to get Grandpa early tomorrow. So wake up early!" Everyone nodded before continuing on with their dinner. Goten lowered his fork before breaking the silence again.

"Junior also…" Before he could finish, a bowl smacked him in the center of his forehead. Junior growled and put his arm down while his uncle stood back up, rubbing the bruise on his temple. "OW! You didn't have to do that!" WHAM! The son of Gohan clutched his head when Chi Chi slammed her frying pan on his skull. Gohan shook his head at his son before eating, Goten in pursuit.

"I'm not wearing this…"

"You'll wear it if you like it or not!"

"But…"

"Not buts…!" Kai looked at himself in the mirror with disgust while Chi Chi nodded her head in approval. He was wearing…dare I say it…a tuxedo. He gulped while fixing his tie and straighten his collar. "See, you look nice." Kai nodded in fear. "Now hurry, everyone is waiting outside." Heading outside, Kai slowly made his way towards the hover-car, clearly embarrassed at what he was wearing. Everyone was inside, chuckling at him.

"Fancy." Goku chuckled when Kai walked past him. He stuck his tongue out before plopping a seat in the back. Vegeta, who sat across from him, couldn't help but laugh himself. Kai glared at him before Junior leaned over the top of his seat to look at him.

"You don't look that bad." He poorly reassured. Goku, who sat next to him, nodded in agreement. "I've gotta wear the same thing." He sat back down and frowned when he faced his grandfather. "Grandpa, you're lucky you're not wearing this." Goku laughed.

"I know, right?" He laughed while putting both of his hands behind his head. Junior sighed before looking out the window, enjoying the view of the city below them. He wiped the sweat that started to come down his forehead, thanks to the suit, and looked to his right to see Vegeta roughly untying Taro's tie then taking his jacket off.

"You look ridiculous." He growled, ripping the suit to pieces and revealed his adopted son's gi. Junior bit his lip before taking his jacket and his shirt off, revealing his Goku like gi. Goku stared at him with confusion and a hint of worry that Chi Chi might catch him and knock him senseless. Junior sighed in comfort and placed his hands behind his head.

"Good idea, Junior. Suits are a pain in the neck!" Goku smiled, making Junior smile back. "I can't wait to get something to eat!" Junior nodded in agreement and rubbed his stomach. "Uh, I heard you and Trunks fused a couple of years ago. Maybe you can show me later." Junior shrugged before looking at the seat where Trunks was sitting.

"If it's alright with him, sure." He replied. "But, I doubt it. He swore he'd never fuse with me again after Cell. That was only a once in a lifetime thing." Goku looked down at him before patting his head.

"Just like Vegeta." He chuckled before looking out the window.

"Gee Junior, you've grown!" Krillin exclaimed, "And you're hair is starting to grow out as well!" It's true, his hair got a little longer in the back and his bangs got a little shorter. Goten's hair was the same as well, it was slowly involving into his hair. Yamcha smiled.

"It's been two years." He pointed. Junior ruffled his own hair, grinning at their compliments. "And let me say, you've also matured a lot."

About 10 minutes later, the Z gang arrived at the hotel and Goku, Vegeta, Junior, and Trunks waited near the entrance for the doors to open. Vegeta leaned on the wall and crossed his arms while Bee started to lick Goku's face, which made him laugh. Junior sat on the grass and Trunks was in the same position as his Dad.

"Hello, little guy." Junior cooed when a little lizard crawled up his arm. Trunks, who spotted this, shook his head. "Is there a problem, Briefs?" Trunks uncrossed his arms and glared at him.

"…Well, so is this." Goku said, making Vegeta growl.

"Yeah, there is." Trunks replied before walking up to Junior. Not a moment later, both boy Sons and Briefs started to argue. Bulma and Chi Chi shook their heads in disapproval before Goku's stomach growled, cutting the argument.

"Vegeta, I'm hungry." He said, making Bulma and Chi Chi fall anime style. During this time, Hercule invited everyone inside and food and tables were set outside. Goku drooled at the amazing sight of all sorts of food.

Everyone was settled before Hercule started to speak, "I appreciate all of you coming from such distances!" Mr. Satan announced to the Z gang, "We are here to honor those who fought and vanquished the evil Majin Buu!" Gohan raised his glass in the air and cheered to himself. "Enjoy yourselves!" Before anyone could move, the familiar sound of paparazzi came running towards Mr. Satam, who sweat nervously. Junior groaned and slammed his utensils on the table.

"Stupid paparazzi!" Junior grumbled, "Always gotta ruin the moment!"

"That's the life of the rich and the famous." Gohan replied, smiling at his son, "But still, I'm hungry and we need to eat or I'm gonna keep drinking this wine." He said the last part with a smirk. He placed his lips on the glass before Kai snatched the glass away from him.

"You've had enough." Kai snapped, making Gohan sadly nod, "Please, we don't wanna deal with a drunk you."

"It'll be embarrassing." Junior and Videl added. Gohan nodded before standing up to get his plate of food. Junior started to balance his fork with his finger until Goten popped out of nowhere and gently wrapped his arms around his neck.

"HI!" He chirped, making Junior fall off his chair and collide with him. They clutched their heads before wobbling back up to their feet, giving Junior the perfect time to slap his uncle on the top of his head. "Ow! Why're you being so mean!?" Junior sighed before wrapping his arm around his shoulder.

"Because you can be a pain in the ass sometimes." He smirked, earning a glare from Goten, "Just playing. It's because you keep startling me." Taro let out a single laugh in the background.

"Please, half of the time was for him being annoying." Taro laughed. Junior huffed before Kai stood up from his seat, all eyes focusing on him. "What's wrong, Kai?" Piccolo and Krillin also stood straight up. "Wait, I feel something…"

"Yeah, pretty strong ki." Trunks pointed. Everyone ran outside, Vegeta and Kai the furthest behind, and noticed a young man with saiyan battle armor and short, black, spiky hair. He had a scouter on his right eye and his tail swung back and forth behind him. Another figure, really smaller than him, had a big head and had white skin. Gohan and Krillin pointed out that he was a saiyan until Vegeta spoke.

"Tarble…" Everyone turned to look at him while he walked down the steps. The saiyan, Tarble, and ran up to him.

"Brother!" He cheered.

"BROTHER?!" Everyone screamed in disbelief. Vegeta made his way toward his little brother before facing the side and crossed his arms.

"Didn't Dad send you to that remote planet because you couldn't fight?" He grumbled, making Tarble frown and grab his arm. He roughly shoved him off before his younger brother started to warn him about something.

"A namekian told me you returned to Earth after Freiza was defeated." He said before waving his hands, "Let me get straight to the point, a brotherly duo named Abo and Kado are terrorizing my planet. I proved no match for them." Vegeta snorted at that. "Please help!" Goku came to Vegeta's side while chewing on a chicken leg.

"They're strong huh?" He asked with food in his mouth. Tarble pressed a button on his scouter and read his power level. A 5.

"Don't believe in that scouter." Vegeta said while walking away, "Combat strength can easily change." Tarble raised an eyebrow until Goku started to power up, creating a strong gust of wind when he powered up to super saiyan. Tarble's eyes widened when he read his power level until the scouter shattered. Goku stopped and turned to face him, "See?"

"Incredible! Now you can help me!" Tarble exclaimed, "They've followed me." Vegeta smirked before walking back up to his brother.

"Perfect. Now I can have a after dinner workout." He smirked until Goku put a hand on his chest and pushed him back.

"No, Vegeta. I should have this fight." Goku smirked, making Vegeta growl.

"I'll fight!" Junior raised his hand in the air.

"I want to fight!" Trunks also raised his hands in the air. "Um, I asked first." Junior glared at him.

"We wanna fight!" Taro and Goten cheered.

"Me too!" Gohan also raised his hand in the air. Goku scratched his head when everyone else raised their hands in the air. "Dad, we should have a contest. Whoever wins gets to fight them." Goku snapped his fingers and nodded.

"A draw out!" He cheered before pointing to himself, "Grab onto me!"

"A draw out? Sounds good to me." Kai smirked.

Everyone arrived back at the Son house to notice a full patch of radishes in the garden. The Sons, including Kai, smiled at their work while the others looked in amazement.

"I grew these with the seeds Chi Chi gave me." Kai said while picking up a radish from the dirt, "Pull one and whoever gets the longest one gets to fight." Everyone nodded and picked a radish of their own. Krillin, who was acting smug, grabbed the top of a radish and struggled to pull it out. When he did, it was a really small one. Seeing this, Junior, Taro, Goten, and Trunks fell anime style.

"Where is the long one?" Kai asked himself while rubbing his head, "I can't remember where I planted it. Damn!"

"Stand aside…." Junior waved Trunks off before gripping a radish, "Here we go!" He yanked and out came a long radish, about his size, "Yes!" Vegeta growled before facing his son.

"Trunks, get a bigger one than Junior!" He ordered, earning a glare from Junior, Gohan, Videl, and Chi Chi. He tried his best to ignore the looks and focused on his son.

"With pleasure!" Trunks grunted while pulling on a radish. He pulled it out, only to reveal a normal size one. Junior fist bumped Taro before sticking his tongue out at Trunks. Goten shook his head, holding out his not so long radish.

"Suck it!" Junior laughed until the stem of Trunks' radish whipped from the ground and across the mountain. Kai snapped his fingers in frustration.

"That's where I planted it!" He sucked his teeth before crossing his arms.

Trunks started to dance around Junior while asking, "Suck what?" Trunks laughed. Junior growled and lowered his head. "I'm the winner! I'm the winner! In your face loser! About damn time too!"

Bulma placed her hands on her hips and scowled at her son, "Trunks! Enough!" He stopped, but still let out a few chuckles. Vegeta smirked.

"Trunks, avenge Uncle Tarble." He smirked. The alien ran up to Trunks and grabbed his hand and smiled at him.

"Good luck!" She chirped, making Trunks blush.

"…She's my wife." Junior heard Tarble reply, making his jaw drop to the floor, along with Gohan's. He pulled on his sleeve and whispered in his ear.

"Odd looking wife." He whispered, making Gohan chuckle.

"All wives look weird." He replied back. Videl heard him and glared at him, making Gohan gulp nervously. "But, not you Videl! You're the greatest ever!" She nodded, but still glared at him. Meanwhile, two space pods crashed near the hotel and all the Z fighters went to check it out. Gure, Tarble's wife, hid behind his leg while Oolong and Puar looked in fear when two fat blue and red aliens emerged from the pod. They also had battle armor and ad scouters on.

"Go Trunks." Vegeta ordered. He obliged and marched up to Abo and Kado with the others, besides Junior and Kai, cheering him on. Noticing the look on his face, Goku bent to his level and looked him in the eye. Junior raised an eyebrow at him.

"Since there are two of them Junior, and you got the second longest radish, you should go help Trunks." Goku suggested, making Junior shake his head. Goku frowned.

"Let Trunks handle his own battles." He snapped.

Gohan also bent to his level, "Come on Junior, and give him a hand." He encouraged, "Maybe this could prove that you're stronger than Trunks by a mile." Junior was silent before nodding and caught up to Trunks, who rolled his eyes at his presence. Vegeta glared at the Son boys, not even bothering saying something. Abo and Kado smirked at their opponents. Little kids were gonna take them on? They laughed while Junior and Trunks smirked as well.

"Kids like you can't take us on." Abo, the blue one, sneered. Junior rolled his eyes.

"Weird, the last time someone said that, we killed him." Junior chuckled, making Abo take a step back. Noticing his brother's reaction, Kado growled at the lavender haired boy, who rubbed his fist before getting into a stance. Before he could react, Trunks punched him in the gut, sending him flying. Junior elbowed Abo in the chin, also sending him flying. The two recovered and all four of them zipped through the sky, creating small shockwaves. Junior blocked the punch and kick from Abo and punched him in the cheek then the chin. Abo groaned in pain before he punched Junior in the face, but the boy simply shook it off.

None of them noticed the other coming their way towards them, so they collided with each other, crashing to the ground. Junior and Trunks emerged from underground while Abo and Kado caught themselves from collapsing. They stopped and the brothers panted as Junior and Trunks weren't affected by the attacks.

"You're tough, kids." They panted, making Junior and Trunks smirk.

"You're kinda good too." Trunks said. Abo looked at his brother, who nodded. They then stood behind each other and split into three of each other. Three Abo and three Kado. Junior and Trunks gulped until the brothers charged at them. They surrounded them and threw a barrage of punches and kicks, which connected. They yelped in pain after every hit. Junior tried to punch the Abo in front of him, but he used afterimage. Trunks tried to kick Kado, who also used afterimage. Junior noticed an Abo by himself and smirked.

"I've got him." He charged and sent a kick, but Abo disappeared and both chibis ended up kicking each other in the face. They quickly shook the pain off before all six of the cloned brothers started to gang up on them again. Vegeta growled when his son was getting beaten and was nearly gonna scream his name out in anger.

"Boys! Read their ki!" Kai shouted.

"Easier said than done!" Junior shouted before a fist met his chin.

"Junior's been slacking off lately." Gohan mumbled. Kai nodded in agreement.

"That's because you're too stupid of a teacher." Vegeta shot, earning a glare from Gohan and Bulma. Goku laughed and stepped between them. Abo and Kado sent Junior and Trunks crashing to the ground. They clutched their heads in pain before standing back up.

"Wait!" Kai barked before looking down at them, "Let me help you two. You need it."

"No thanks, Kai, we can handle it." Junior replied, making Kai scoff. Both boys looked at each other before nodding and charged at the brothers. They held their ground for a bit before Kai helped them out. "Trunks! Left!" Trunks punched the Kado to the left. "Junior! Up!" Junior blasted the Abo from above. "Right!" Junior and Trunks punched their opponents from the right. "Both of you, below!" They drop kicked the real Abo and Kado, which sent them tumbling to the dirt.

"Amazing." Krillin exclaimed. Gohan and Master Roshi nodded. Abo and Kado growled before facing each other.

"MERGE!" They shouted before a giant aura surrounded them, blinding everyone's sight. When it returned, a giant version of them towered over the two chibis, who gulped again. Aka quickly grabbed them and dragged them through any objects or surroundings, such as cliffs and trees, around the area. They screamed in pain before he threw them against a mountain. They dropped to the floor before opening their eyes.

"Junior!" Taro called from the hotel. "Fusion!"

"Trunks!" Goten also called. Junior and Trunks shook their heads before standing back up to their feet.

"Trunks, it's time. We have to do it again." Junior reasoned the lavender haired boy, who looked at him in silence and nodded. They crossed their arms before chuckling.

"What're they doing?" Bulma asked. Everyone, besides Gohan, Goku, Goten, and Taro, shrugged.

"They're…?" Vegeta asked in shock.

"Are you ready you fast bastard!?" They pointed at Aka, who gurgled. "Gross! Someone's got to teach you manners! Aka, what a stupid name, get ready to meet the ultimate warrior!" They put their arms to the right, "FUU-SION-HA!" In a blinding light, Gohanks appeared and stretched.

"T-They've fused?" Krillin asked in awe.

"Never thought they'd do that." Bulma said to herself. Vegeta was actually quite shocked himself, but he quickly hid it well. Piccolo was taken aback by their actions, but hid his reaction as well. Kai nodded in approval at the dance. Gohanks punched the air before pointing at Aka.

"Get ready Aka!" He ran up to the alien and held his fists up, "First, Yamcha's Wolf Fang Fist!" He repeatedly punched him in the face and gut, sending blood and spit flying from his mouth. He then uppercutted him in the air and placed two fingers on his forehead. "Next, Piccolo's…Makansap…?" He looked around in confusion, making everyone fall down. "Uh, Makasapo…."

"Makankosappo!" Piccolo yelled in the background.

Gohanks still couldn't figure out how to say it, "Makansap….Whatever! Special Beam Cannon!"

"That works too!" Piccolo yelled again. Gohanks fired the blast at Aka, which drilled through his stomach. Aka screamed in pain before falling into the water, but ended up shooting multiple ki blasts in the area before fully falling in. Everyone dodged and fired their own blasts, stopping the ki blasts. Gohanks protected Gure and Tarble while Yamcha saved Oolong, Bulma, and Puar and Krillin saved Eighteen and Marron.

"I'm not dead yet!" Aka screamed before summoning a giant blast from his mouth, "Super Wahaha no HA!" Goku, Vegeta, and Kai quickly vanished and raced to get to Aka first.

"Hey, Vegeta! What's that?" Goku asked while pointing to the side. Before any of them could move, Gohan appeared in front of them and fired a Kamehameha wave, weakening the blast before Kai punched Aka in the stomach, sending him flying out of the atmosphere. Goku frowned and Vegeta was nearly about to rip his head off for trying to distract him.

"No fair, Gohan!" Goku frowned, earning a nervous laugh from his eldest son. Kai crossed his arms and chuckled. "Wow, Kai, you destroyed him with one punch! And you didn't even power up!"

"Well, that's what happens when you mess with my family." He replied, making Goku and Gohan smile, "Let me say, this is better than working with Fear." Goku and Gohan raised an eyebrow before Vegeta growled and stormed back inside to where the party was going.

"Don't you EVER mention that name!" He growled out before leaving. Kai frowned before following his trail. Gohan narrowed his eyes before Goku looked at him with confusion.

"What's the matter?" He asked. Gohan closed his eyes before replying.

"Fear was the name of Karin's father." He simply replied before walking back inside. Goku sighed and looked around at the destroyed hotel. Videl comforted her crying father with Gohan by her side, Taro and Goten were patting Trunks and Junior on the back, Vegeta ignored the yelling from Bulma, and Tarble and his wife stood there in shock and confusion.

Gure looked wide eyed at the amount of food the saiyans were eating. Goku and Vegeta ate at a very fast pace while Trunks and Junior ate in a slower pace. Chi Chi closed her eyes, remembering the amount of food they buy at the supermarket. Bulma giggled. Goku eyed Vegeta's sushi before grabbing it and stuffed it in his mouth. Junior did the same with Trunks' shish kabob. The prince and his son looked at their plate to notice their favorite food gone. Junior and Goku gave out the famous 'Son Grin'.

"Idiot! I was gonna eat that!" They shouted, making The Son boys laugh. Getting revenge, they quickly ate the nearest food near them, making Goku and Junior gasp in shock.

"Ah! Trunks/Vegeta!" They gasped, "I was going to eat that last! It was the best part!"

"Well, you should've never ate my sushi/shish kabob!" Vegeta and Trunks shouted back, getting closer to the Sons.

"I can't believe we're friends!" Goku yelled, turning super during the process.

"This is way we're never friends!" Junior shouted before turning super as well. Trunks and Vegeta returned the favor by also turning super saiyan.

"We were never friends!" Vegeta barked at Goku.

"I never wanted to be friends with you!" Trunks snapped at Junior. They started to fight again while everyone, besides Goten and Taro, laughed at them.

"Same as always." Gohan chuckled, earning a nod from Videl and his mom.

"They never stop fighting, do they Goten?" Taro asked with his eyes closed. Goten shook his head in response.

"Just be friends already." He mumbled, his eyes glued to the fight.

Kai couldn't help but chuckle at Trunks and Junior, who were about to rip each other's heads off, "I guess it runs through the family." He then looked at Vegeta, who was still in super saiyan form. "You hated the man, I know that. I know what he did to you when you were kids, he made you jealous. Why? Because you weren't trained by a God."
