AN: Upupu! As we speak, DespairFrost (Khronovision on FanFiction) keeps making custom pictures of each character! He just finished Hikaru and Rhyssa so check it out!
Also I apologize in advance. This week is a short update. I know it's been a relatively long time but I'm still working out different plot points and mysteries for Chapter 5 so it can hopefully be the best one so far. Hope you enjoy this nevertheless

"Hey y'all!" Meowykins announced. "Ooh! This feels great! Being in control...I've never felt this before. It's nice, meow!"
"...This guy is a lot more annoying when Monokuma's gone," Mirai sighed.
"S-so, you're going to take us behind the strip club?" Shougo asked. "But...why?"
"I wonder..." Meowykins said. "Anyways, it'll all be explained once you head on over, so I'll meet y'all at the strip club!"

"Wow! What a fast transition!" Meowykins said. "The pacing has gone skew, hasn't it?"
Ick. What a nauseating place. I thought I'd never come back here, but I guess it's important either way.
"...Why is there a strip club here anyways?" Unmei asked.
"I'm sure it had something to do with Monokuma. He had to be working stiff, or something, meow!"
"Working stiff..?" Yoshinori asked. "What does that mean exactly..? I'm curious!"
"Me too!" Mirai exclaimed.
Please don't, Mirai.
"Anyways, the door has been unlocked," Meowykins said. "You may now enter the special room in the back as you please!"
...Obviously this was going to be bad. There's no such thing as a good moment on this island. There were some nice times we've had, but they were shadowed by betrayal and grief. So whatever this was, it would end up bad. That's what I know, and believe.
So I guess it's time to go in and face it.
And everyone took a step inside...

This is...a museum.
"Welcome, y'all, to the brand new official Hope's Peak Museum!" Meowykins exclaimed. "Oh, and in case you didn't notice, it's top secret. Hidden behind a strip club, after all."
Why is there a museum here anyways..? This is a museum of Hope's Peak, right?
The room did look like a very fancy art museum, though. I felt like we were away from the underwater dome for a moment because the entire room was built with what seemed to be painted concrete. It would definitely keep the water out for sure.
"This is part museum and part shelter," Meowykins said, appearing before my thoughts.
"A shelter..?"
"Meow! I mean, if for some reason, the entire dome broke by accident, and water was flooding in, you'd want to go here. If there was enough time to get here, anyways."
"But what about the doors?" I asked.
"The door to get into the museum is made of wood, but the back of it is solidified with the same concrete material made to solidify this place, so it shouldn't be victim to any destruction."
Then...it sounded like a pretty good idea to stay here. I think when the timer runs out, the dome will break down anyways.
I walked away from Meowykins and headed towards a large statue. It was of some high school kid in a hoodie. That's strange...why would that be in a museum? Well, it was set up by Meowykins or Monokuma. Is it relevant at all..?
"Oh? Do you want to know about Mr. Makoto Naegi?" Meowykins asked. "Meow!"
Makoto Naegi...haven't I seen that name before?
"Yes, he was a fairly underwhelming man," Meowykins began to explain. "From the history books left behind by Monokuma, he seemed to have been a part of a separate killing game where he and five others had left unscathed...He has a strange affection towards hope, but he used it to persevere past many hardships..."
"...Another killing game?! You mean there was another situation like this?!"
"Don't beat yourself up over it," Meowykins chuckled. "Stress leads to acne, meow!"
...Ugh. I really want to know what's going on in the outside world right now...
The thought buried in my mind, and headed towards Noah who was standing below a painting. The painting was of another high school student, and his face was distorted, screaming and tearing at his hair.
"The nameplate of this painting says it's of a student named Hinata Hajime," Noah explained. "There's no further information, however..."
"We can ask Meowykins," I said. "He told me about someone named Makoto Naegi."
"...I've heard of that name before," Noah said. "If I recall...that was the name of the man that came to rescue us and died."
"...That's right," I said. "I remember now...but Meowykins said he was the survivor of a previous killing game as well."
"...More questions and questions," Noah sighed.
Leaving Noah, I headed towards Yoshinori, Unmei, and Shougo who were by this huge family portrait. The nameplate...The Enoshimas.
"The Enoshimas are the people who are a part of Super Highschool Level Despair, right?" Yoshinori asked. "They probably locked us up all in here..."
"Which means that they're our enemy..?" Unmei asked. "But Junko Enoshima was a model in a fashion magazine I frequently read. And Kiyomi Enoshima is one of my favorite actresses too. This is kind of hard to believe..."
Junko Enoshima...if I remember correctly, she attended Hope's Peak, and was also a part of Super Highschool Level Despair. But that's all we know, really...
"I remember seein' something about 'The World's, Most Horrible, Most Tragic Event' too," Yoshinori said. "I don't remember where though."
...Well with a name like that, you were probably just reading bad fan-fiction.
"...Hey, has anyone seen Mirai?" Shougo asked.
Startled, I took a look around. He was right...Mirai was nowhere to be seen. I guess he just wandered off on his own somewhere. Anyways, that was basically all of the museum that stood out that wasn't boring art. I walked around the room a bit more and then walked over to Meowykins.
"Hey, cat-dog, can we leave now?" I asked.
"Mm? But you just got here," Meowykins said. "Don't you want to know about the previous school killings? Or the Enoshimas?"
"Should we be concerned about that?" Noah asked, walking over. "The Enoshimas locked us up here. You've done this twice. What else should we know?"
"...W-well, you see, y'all need to get to the fat of it all...the real juicy stuff."
"Mm...no thanks," Yoshinori sighed. "I'm gonna head out..."
"No way!" Meowykins growled. "Y'all aren't going anywhere!"
"...Why not?" I asked. "Just let us go."
Music Halts
Meowykins shook his head, and eerily closed the door behind him. It slammed with a great ferocity that we've never seen before from a walking stuffed animal. Not that I've seen ferocity from walking stuffed animals before.
"You won't be able to participate in the final game if you leave, after all..."
The final game..?
"This museum isn't just a place to showcase pretty and important art, you know! Meow! It's also the lobby for a nice little minigame that's up ahead!"
"The final game is a minigame?" Yoshinori asked. "I don't compute."
"Well, it's more like...a survival game, really."

…
I can't say I'm surprised. Just dismayed.
"A-A survival game?!" Unmei asked. "W-wait, like, Battle Royale style, or like, co-op mode?"
"Well, since I can't kill y'all directly, I guess I'd have to say like Battle Royale! Let's Royale it up in here!"
"Y-you're going to make us kill each other?!" I yelled.
"It's nothing different from what we've been doing now!" Meowykins protested. "However, you'd better hurry..! I've added a rule! If you don't kill someone within the end of this day, everyone is going to be killed."
...Huh?
"And since that's a rule, I'm allowed to personally kill you all," Meowykins laughed. "You won't be around to do anything anymore."
"T-this is crazy..!" I protested. "You can't -"
"Yes I can, make you do this, my Keiko," Meowykins said. "I will definitely kill the lot of you...you'll all be dead by tomorrow! Meow! Oh, but Yoshinori, you won't be participating."
"H-huh?" Yoshinori asked. "W-wait, I need to be there to support the others!"
"No, no!" Meowykins said. "You won't be here to support the others! You'll be here to kill the others!"
Music Halts
After saying that, Meowykins took out a remote control, and pressed a button towards Yoshinori's direction. Freaking out, Yoshinori began to shake up, collapsing onto the ground. All I could do was watch as she helplessly fell down.
"...Y-Yoshinori!" Unmei shrieked. "What did you do to her?!"
"W-what is this..?" Shougo asked. "W-why is this happening..?"
"It's not like I killed her or anything," Meowykins said. "She's a robot, so I just messed with her settings."
"Her settings..?" I asked, fearfully. I knew I wasn't going to like this answer.
And just as I thought that, Yoshinori woke up. A gatling gun erected from her right hand, and she pointed it towards us.
Music Halts
"Objective: Kill the students of despair."
...Wait, what?
...She's...different.
...Kill?
...The students of despair?
Yoshinori?
"Quick, y'all! You gotta run!" Meowykins laughed. Meowykins took the same remote he used to control Yoshinori, and pointed it at the wall in front of us. The wall began to open, and a black hallway bared it's face towards us. As Yoshinori walked towards us, none of us could think rationally. All we could do was walk towards the darkness. But as I headed further, the darkness began to blind me. Slower, and slower, I trudged through the darkness, when eventually, I could no longer feel anything.
...Throughout all this, I never once thought where Mirai was.
