River came bounding up to meet his big brother & his human friend giving a big panting smile before signing

"You come sit with me?" Angel smiled & followed River back to where he was sitting Blue Eyes watching Ash made his way to his friend & the two shared a look before they both found somewhere to sit Caesar hooted for his son to come join him

"Son everything ok?" Caesar spoke Blue Eyes looked confused before his father pointed towards Angel Blue Eyes nodded & Koba just rolled his eyes looking around Blue Eyes noticed someone was missing

"Where's mother?"

"She's resting said she wasn't hungry" Blue Eyes frowned & looked towards their hut

"She ok?"

Caesar nodded "She just needs rest she'll be fine wheres the cougher?"

"Sleeping Luka's watching it... we came up with a name for her..." Caesar cocked his head waiting for his son to tell him what they'd named it

"Bright Eyes...after grandmother" Blue Eyes sated a little unsure how his father would react to the name Caesar looked away than back at Blue Eyes with a small smile

"I'm sure my mother would've liked that"

Blue Eyes let out a small sigh & than picked up his food to eat.

*Later that night*

Most of the apes who had finished eating & drinking their fill they started to either groom friends or mates or made their way to their huts for the night Koba was being groomed by Grey & Kali was grooming Ashing near by Ash gestured to Koba

"Going fishing with Blue Eyes & Kali tomorrow will you come with us?"

Koba gave a small nod it had been a while since he'd been fishing Blue Eyes made his way over to where Angel & River were watching the two he saw that River was trying to teach Angel a little more sign language & Angel was trying to teach River to speak more clearly both seemed to be struggling shaking his head & chuckling to himself Blue Eyes lighting laid his hand on Angels shoulder turning she smiled warmly at him she still made his heart skip when she looked at him like that

"You ready?" he asked nodding she took his hand he held out for her

"Sleep well" River called out

"You too" Angel said before she & Blue Eyes made their way to the hut

"I need to check on Mother first Blue Eyes said as he stopped outside the family hut "I'll catch up to you"

nodding Angel went on a head thanking Luka they bid each other goodnight Blue Eyes made his way inside the hut followed shortly after by River who set about making his bed a little more comfy seeing his mother he made his way over to her

"Father says your not wanting to eat you ok?"

Cornelia looked up & gave her son a reassuring smile pulling his head to hers

"Yes Blue Eyes I'll be fine just wasn't very hungry where's Angel?"

"In her hut" he sighed pointing

turning they both saw Caesar who was still talking with Koba & Rocket Blue Eyes said his goodnights to the family & also to Koba & Rocket

Koba stopped Blue Eyes as he was leaving

"I'll be joining you Kali & Ash tomorrow" Blue Eyes was a little surprise but gave Koba a nod & made his way to Angel's hut stopping by the door a small smile crept onto his face Angel was already almost asleep so he placed a gentle kiss on her head & lay down next to her wrapping his arms around her Angel cuddles into Blue Eyes who drifts of to sleep

*Dreaming *

Blue Eyes remembered the very first time he knew he had feelings for Angel remembering how it had confused angered & baffled him he didn't know what the feelings were or what they meant more than that he didn't know if she felt for him what he did for her & what's worse what if she did...

he remembered spending time with Ash by the waterfall turning he said

"Does this mean there's something wrong with me?"

Ash shook his head "Blue Eyes there's nothing wrong with you, but if I were you id find out for sure how she feels about you... could be a bad idea she's not ape..."

looking away Blue Eyes thought about what his friend had said

"She make you happy?" Ash asked pulling Blue Eyes from his thoughts frowning a little Blue Eyes shrugged

"I don't know she confuses me she looks at me funny sometimes I see her watching when I eat"

Ash listened

"You can't say anything about this to anyone not Koba not my father or yours! Promise me!" Blue Eyes signed

Ash nodded his head

"I wont. What if she like you what are you gonna do?"

"Don't know. How will I know if she like me?"

"I asked father about how he knew mother liked him he say he asked her & she told him maybe you should ask her"

Blue Eyes for sure wasn't going to match up to the human & ask her how she felt about him but maybe there would be another way of finding out how she felt besides he wasn't even sure how he felt about her the whole think bothered him but for now he'd have to put it out of his mind as he & Ash made their way back to the village

*In another part of the dream *

Blue Eyes remembered under the cover of night when everyone had been asleep Angel had shown him around a 'museum' he thinks that's what she called it was full of all kinda things some seemed very old Angel had shown him many things & told him about things she called planes they were things that people would fly in almost like birds to go on journeys she had also told him she'd been to a lot of different places & showed him on a map she'd then told him about a women called Elizabeth I she was a ruler of a place called England she lived a very long time ago she also told him about a man called Hitler who had done a lot of bad things to other humans Blue Eyes didn't really understand what a gas chamber was but it didn't sound like it would be a nice place to be

"Have you ever been in one?" he asked as they walked around the museum

Angel laughed a little shaking her head

"No thankfully they don't use them anymore my grandfathers grandfather died in one though almost killed my grandfather too but he was speared guess that's a good thing or I might not be here"

Blue Eyes turned & looked Angel in the eye placing his hand over hers

"I would be sad if you weren't here" surprising the both of them Angel blushed a little & looked away

Blue Eyes felt a knot in the pit of his belly Angel looked at Blue Eyes with a smile

"I'd be sad if id never got the chance to know you too"

she said almost in a whisper she linked her hand with his. Blue Eyes liked the feel of her skin on his the two continued to walk around the museum hand in hand with Angel pointing things out

* Further into the dream *

Blue Eyes also dreamt about the first time they'd been together on what Angel called a date

he'd taken Angel to a clearing not too far from the waterfalls to a meadow where wild flowers grew sitting her down he offered her some of the food he'd brought with him Angel suddenly turned to Blue Eyes

"Blue..." he looked at her waiting "thank you this place is so beautiful" Blue Eyes smiled & placed his forehead to hers

"Not a beautiful as you"

Angel blushed Blue Eyes & Angel spent most of the afternoon in the meadow where he taught & showed her what was good & what was bad to eat what could help heal you if you where hurt later that night Blue Eyes took Angel to the top of the mountain range where they spent time watching the stars the moon was behind them & Angel showed Blue Eyes the different consultations like the big dipper

"Look" Angel said pointing Blue Eyes looked up into the moonlit sky " its a shooting star... you gotta make a wish"

Blue Eyes looked puzzled

"Its a thing people do, when you see a shooting star you make a wish & if your lucky it comes true"

Blue Eyes thought for a moment

"My wish has already come true"

Rising a brow Angel eyed Blue Eyes "oh yeah? & what did you wish for?"

"I wished for you to be here with me" cupping her face Angel locked eyes with Blue Eyes

*Next Morning *

Blue Eyes woke early looking down he saw Angel was still sleeping how ever seemed that Bright Eyes was just waking & looking for her breakfast smiling he whispered to Angel

"You get more beautiful everyday. Morning Bright Eyes"

the cub just looked expectantly at him waiting for her food Blue Eyes had watched Angel make up a feeding bottle for her a few times but he himself had never done one & he didn't want to wake Angel so he tried to do it himself after a few attempts he finally got it Bright Eyes climbed into Blue Eyes' lap looking up at him with big eyes Blue Eyes began feeding the cub

"Well aren't you two cute?"

Blue Eyes turned to face Angel who had a half smile & a still sleepy look on her face
