Hey folks I'm so sorry it's been so long since I last updated but there's been a lot going on I know it been a long time coming but I hope you like where I'm gonna take the story gonna be a few twists & turns that you may or may not have seen coming either way I hope you enjoy it let me know what you think so here it is the long awaited update lol hope I don't disappoint anyone…..

Blue Eyes turn to face her looking a little embarrassed

"sleep well?" he asked tilting his head while still feeding the cub Angel just nodded then came to sit next to Blue Eyes watching him as he fed the cub

"So what you want to do today?" she asked as she stood up to stretch, seeing as the cub had had its fill Blue Eyes set it back down turning to look to the doorway

"Koba want me to spend day with him" Blue Eyes said quietly Angel just nodded with a small smile she picked up Bright Eyes making her way to the open door then stopping she turned to Blue Eyes who hadn't moved

"Are you coming?"

Blue Eyes nodded following her down to where the other apes where already eating on seeing Angel with the baby cub a lot of the apes stared at her half baffled as to why shed brought what could be a danger to all there down to join them

Ash came over to greet them looking down he looks at both Blue Eyes & Angel & the cub before signing to Blue Eyes

"Why she bring it out here?" shrugging Blue Eyes signs back

"So not alone, she worries for it" Ash again looked at the cub before wondering off to find his father. Rocket was sitting with Tinker along with Cornella & Cesar

"Has anyone seen Maurice?" Rocket signed while half chewing on a piece of left over apple everyone shook their heads No come to think of it nobody had seen much of Maurice in the past few days frowning to himself Cesar signed

"Will go check on him later" & with that everyone continued with their breakfast River sat a little way off from his parents playing with his good pal Scooter but as soon as he saw Blue Eyes he bounded over

"Morning brother" River signed with a pant hoot pulling his brother into a hug Blue Eyes a little studded by the overly excited greeting smiled at his younger brother

"What's got you so happy?" Blue Eyes signed then handed Angel a blow of fresh berries

"Father says I can lead the hunt next time we go" River puffed up is chest looking proud Blue Eyes just give a nod

Angel smiled at seeing River looking so proud of himself but couldn't help but give a small giggle when all of a sudden River was face down in the dirt with Scooter looking on pointing & laughing River having a mischief look on his face jumps on Scooter & the two are soon rolling about wrestling on the grown earning only an eye roll from his brother & peers

*sometime later*

Koba sat alongside Grey & Stone watching River & Blue Eyes & even Angel shaking his head Koba returned to fixing his spear

"What will you do about the human now she has the cub?" stone signed to Koba

Taking a sigh thinking before he signed back

"Will finish the job, cub won't last long with human" picking up his spear Koba made his way over to Blue Eyes glaring at Angel he signs

"We go now just us two NO human"

Frowning Blue Eyes nods turning to Angel in a gruff but gentle voice

"Back soon, stay in the village safe here" smiling he gently hugs her Angel just smiled Koba giving Angel a long hard look walks off after Blue Eyes leaving Angel alone.

*In the Forrest*

Koba took Blue Eyes along the winding path neither ape saying a word before Blue Eyes signed

"She's trying you know? Can't you at least try with her?"

Stopping Koba looked confused before signing

"Who?"

Blue Eyes just looked at him before Koba rolled his eyes & gave a grunt

"Blue Eyes I know humans I know their tricks how they think what they do, humans cannot be trusted why am I the only one who seems to understand this. I protect you human wont"

Sighing Blue Eyes signs "Not all human bad you are wrong about her, you saw she's good, Koba I am no longer a child, please try to be open to her"

Scowling Koba simply signed

"Never again"

The two apes continued to walk further into the woods before Koba suddenly stopped Blue Eyes stood watching & waiting for what he was going to do next Koba pointed to a small hill

"go look" Koba signed frowning Blue Eyes peered over the hill he was met with the most amazing view of the mountains seeing the eagles in the sky he also looked down to see a lake that was so clear he could see far down into the lakes depths turning mouth open he saw Koba coming to join him

"What is this place?" Blue Eyes signed in awe Koba just smiled but said nothing for sometime

"My gift to you, to show what life can be like without human"

Blue Eyes frowned but said nothing how could he make Koba understand Angel was good

*Meanwhile back in the village*

Ash sat with his father who in turn was trying to teach Angel some more sign witch seemed to be a slow but seedy process Rocket was proving to be a good teacher to Angel but as ever Ash was also on hand to help Ash had grown very fond of Angel witch had not gone unnoticed by his father but he was glad his son was happy to have a human for a friend & even more happy to see a human be just as happy to have an ape for a friend made him smile when he'd watch the two have a play flight although Ash always took care to be gentle with her

"Rocket?" Angel asked snapping Rocket back from his thoughts turning he looked to her

"So am I doing this right?" Angel asked as she tried to sigh a word Rocket adjusted her fingers & in a firm gruff but gentle voice said

"Try again"

Nodding when he saw Angel got it right & smiling when he saw how proud of herself she was suddenly Rocket caught sight of Caesar putting a gentle hand on Angel's arm he said

"Enough for now, we practise later" Angel nodded picked up Bright Eyes & headed to the waterfall with Ash Kali & a few others of the apes moving up to meet him he signed

"Find Maurice?" Caesar shook his head Rocket looked over to where Maurice would normally be wondering where his friend could be

"Should we go look? It's not like Maurice to just leave without a word to anyone" Rocked signed starting to grow worried

"Maybe soon if still no one has seen by tomorrow we will look" Caesar signed trying to keep his emotions in check after all the tree friends went back a long way & Caesar thought of Maurice like a brother much like he did with Rocket & Koba.

*Back in the woods*

The day had been a good one Koba & Blue Eyes both enjoying the time together Blue Eyes had made his way down to the lake & was dipping his leg in while laying back looking at the sky & Koba just sat eating some berries he found

"Should head home before gets too late" Blue Eyes signed Koba didn't say anything Blue Eyes looked at him wondering what the older ape was thinking

"For years Humans cut me, tortured me, why would I ever want humans around? Blue Eyes for your sake you need to get rid of the human she will betray you it's only a matter of time"

"Koba Angel wont Angel good….Trust" Blue Eyes signed

Koba gave Blue Eyes a long hard look before signing

"Come time to go"

& with that the two made their way back home…
