AN: For this investigation, I'm going to add some little feature to let you know what they're investigating. It's kind of dumb to implement it at the final investigation but whatever. Also, my updates aren't too slow now! That's nice.

My...my secret...it's been exposed...

I feel so dizzy...

I can't...I can't do this anymore...

"...Keiko..? Keiko, wake up."

Soundtrack: Ekoroshia/Box 16

KEIKO: U-ugh...where...where am I?

NOAH: Keiko..?

KEIKO: N-Noah!

[The trial...what happened with the trial..? All of a sudden, all of our dead friends came back to life from that submarine...and then two new Monokumas joined in on the trial too..! What was the deal with that?! And...my secret got revealed...]

KEIKO: N-Noah, my secret...Monokuma revealed my secret to the others...

NOAH: I-I know...I know...

KEIKO: Where are they..? What am I going to say when I face them..?

NOAH: Never mind that. Take a look around...

KEIKO: ..!

KEIKO: W-Where are we..?

[W-we've never been here before. It... looks like some sort of control center...]

[AN: Room for reference looks like a circular version of this: . . Each crevice in the wall is some sort of portal.]

NOAH: I have no idea what's going on...there are some suspicious entrances along the walls.

KEIKO: W-what are they..?

NOAH: ...Should we try and enter one of them?

KEIKO: Are you crazy?! Are we even in the school right now?!

NOAH: We...we might not be.

KEIKO: So why would we go in those portals? I don't trust them one bit,

NOAH: We need to find the others, Keiko..! Do you think it's just us? They probably woke up in different parts of wherever we are.

KEIKO: How did we even get here anyways..? We were just in the trial a minute ago...

Soundtrack: Warriors of Hope

KUROKUMA: Why, hello!

KEIKO: Eek! Why do you bears keep jumping into us from nowhere?!

KUROKUMA: Wow! I didn't expect to be greeted with such rudeness! I'm kind of hurt! But I'm a tough bear, so words bounce off me like I'm one effective rubber.

NOAH: ...Kurokuma, was it? That's what I figured from the trial.

KUROKUMA: You're correct! That's my name! Isn't it kickass?

KEIKO: ...Um, Mr. Kurokuma..? Why exactly are you here? Where's Monokuma?

KUROKUMA: Monokuma is finding the others. They all got scattered around the Rehabilitation Program.

NOAH: Scattered..?

KUROKUMA: Yeah! I mean, we came so close to ending this dumb game, because you guys were giving us waaay too much trouble.

NOAH: So, you're here to locate us? Are you going to bring us to the others?

KUROKUMA: Huh? I don't know where the others are. How're you gonna expect me t'know where you dumb friends are? I'm not even your principal.

KEIKO: But, I thought you said Monokuma was trying to find us. So what are you doing here?

KUROKUMA: Well, Monokuma asked me and Shirokuma to find you guys and give you a heads-up about what's about to go down.

KEIKO: Huh..?

KUROKUMA: See...we need to perform another reset in order to get this thing rolling again. Right now, the things we can do are kinda limited...

KUROKUMA: What's a reset you ask? Well, let me tell ya! You know you guys are in a computer program, right?

KEIKO: W-well, that's what you keep saying, but I still can't believe it.

KUROKUMA: Well believe it! Because that's the reality of what's going on!

NOAH: Okay, okay. We know we're in a program. What's your point?

KUROKUMA: Well, a reset would let us do something very different...But I can't tell you what yet!

NOAH: And why is that?

KUROKUMA: Huh? Well, we have to save that for the final trial, of course.

KEIKO: A-Another trial..?

KUROKUMA: Yeah, well, we technically still never wrapped up Mirai's trial. Plus, now that everything is going to shit, cause those guys keep interfering with the program, we have to do something drastic.

KUROKUMA: So we're gonna let you guys figure everything out, and then we'll all talk about it in the verrry final battle!

KEIKO: What the hell..? Figure everything about what?

KUROKUMA: Figure everything out about this school! Your school, your true identities, and this program! You'll learn everything in this exciting episode!

KUROKUMA: Man, this is tiring! Having to repeat everything to you guys just so you can understand...

NOAH: You haven't explained anything well at all. We don't understand anything.

KUROKUMA: You dumb, kid? What other questions could you possibly have for me?

NOAH: W-well, everything! You can tell us everything, can't you?

KUROKUMA: No! Absolutely not! Everything has to be done at the final trial!

KEIKO: Can't you at least tell us where we are..? What is this room?

KUROKUMA: Oh. Well, we were restarting the program, and those guys up there were able to interfere with the reboot, somehow. Now we're stuck in this place. We can't even bring you guys back up to the school!

KEIKO: Well, what is this "place?" And what do you mean "restart the program?"

KUROKUMA: E-er, well, you see, we went a little bit too overboard in that last trial...

[Huh? Does he mean...how they brought everyone back to life?]

KUROKUMA: So when we started the reset, it was really buggy and unusable, so we have to deal with you guys again before we do another one.

KUROKUMA: We rebooted the program, but because of the interference, we couldn't load up the proper files to create your school. So we're stuck in this default place. But don't worry, Monokuma already made adjustments to better suit your final trial!

NOAH: Why do you keep talking about this reset, and reboot? What does that even mean?

KUROKUMA: Well, to find out, why don't you just start investigating? Just head into one of those portals and you'll find your answers that way.

KEIKO: S-so, we do enter those things? Where will it take us?

KUROKUMA: Beats me. Monokuma didn't let me see while he was building the extra rooms. I'm guessin' it'll be something to help you for the last trial, though.

KUROKUMA: I gotta go into those portals, too. Gotta find the others and let them know what I said to you

NOAH: T-the others? So will everyone else be in these portals?

KUROKUMA: Yeah. You might find some company around these parts, why not? They probably woke up inside those portals.

KUROKUMA: Anyways, it's been nice talking to you. I'm gonna go head out and start this thing.

[Kurokuma headed into one of the portals...]

KEIKO: ...So, should we really go into one of these?

NOAH: There's no choice, is there? We can't just stay here.

KEIKO: Y-yeah.

NOAH: ...Well, at least the portals are color-coordinated.

[There are six portals here...one red, green, blue, purple, white, and orange portal...]

KEIKO: Alright, which one should we go into first?

NOAH: Well, Kurokuma went into the white one. And I'd rather not see him, since he was utterly useless in answering our questions.

KEIKO: So, you wanna just go in the red one?

NOAH: Sounds good to me.

[Noah and I walked up to the red portal, and stared at it conscientiously. What would happen when we walked through it..? It doesn't seem safe at all...]

NOAH: I'll head in first.

[Noah stepped into the portal.]

KEIKO: ...Alright, let's do this!

[Bracing myself, I held my breath, and dived straight into the red portal, appearing all of a sudden inside...the museum?]

Soundtrack: Ekoroshia/Box 16

Location: Red Portal | Time: ? | ?

KEIKO: I-Is this the museum?
NOAH: It...appears so. But the paintings on the wall are different. They all appear to be self portraits of some people.

KEIKO: It doesn't look like anybody is here, though.

[Investigate Noah]

NOAH: ...Hey, Keiko. Do you really think we're in a computer program?

KEIKO: I don't know. It's hard to believe, but...with everything that happened, it doesn't seem impossible. I mean, we just dived straight into a portal and appeared at the museum.

NOAH: I suppose so...

KEIKO: So, should we look at those paintings, then?

[Investigate Paintings]

NOAH: ...The paintings are of a family, it appears. There are nameplates below the pictures as well.

[One of the girls looks like a fashion model, with Monokuma pins in her hair. The other girl looks like a kid, and her hair is kind of styled similarly to the model girl. Then there's that dude who has a magic hat on or something, dressed up in a white suit. And then...there's this woman. She looks so mature and pretty. Her hair is parted to the right and extends down to her waist. She's wearing a purple dress, and some red lipstick...]

NOAH: This...looks like a completely normal family. However, look down at their nameplates, and you'll see that they're anything but...

KEIKO: Their nameplates, huh? Let's take a look, then.

[The fashion model's name...Junko Enoshima.]

KEIKO: Junko Enoshima, huh? We saw her earlier, didn't we? Yukio Enoshima is the guy, too.

Flashback!

The Enoshima Family

Junko Enoshima (who has left her work behind through AI construction).

Yukio Enoshima (Junko's older brother who has since been dropped off the radar after his supposed death in one of the beta-stages of the Mutual Killing project).

Kiyomi Enoshima (the birth mother of Junko Enoshima who took liberties to work behind the scene in order for her children to carry out her plans).

Aya Enoshima (not enough information to expand on her history – but it is known she is a part of the main bloodline and a major part in Super Highschool Level Despair.)

(From Chapter 4: Section 2B)

KEIKO: I think...she was one of the daughters of despair, wasn't she?

Flashback!

"Junko Enoshima and Mukuro Ikusaba were called the daughters of despair, weren't they?" asked Kaito. "Or were they called sisters..?"

(From Chapter 4: Section 2B)

NOAH: If I remember correctly, there was Junko Enoshima, Yukio Enoshima, Kiyomi Enoshima, and Aya Enoshima.

KEIKO: That's from the file we looked at, isn't it? But there's no mention of Mukuro Ikusaba at all.

NOAH: You're correct...I don't recall seeing Mukuro on that list. Perhaps she had a fallout with her family?

KEIKO: ...And these nameplates, aside from Junko and Yukio, the other two nameplates don't match with the Enoshima family.

NOAH: What are the names of the little girl and that woman?

KEIKO: Rin Totaka and Kiyoko Totaka.

NOAH: Well, these people are almost undeniably related. Rin and Junko share striking resemblences and they all resemble Kiyoko to a tee.

KEIKO: Do you think Rin and Kiyoko might be going under different names?

NOAH: It's possible. It's also possible that they are entirely unrelated to the Enoshimas. Regardless, it appears that family may have had a hand in locking us up in this school.

== Enoshima Family has been added as ammunition. (1)

NOAH: I'm still questioning on what happened to Mukuro...

Soundtrack: Mr. Monokuma's Lesson

MONOKUMA: Hey! Don't speak of her!

KEIKO: Monokuma..?

MONOKUMA: She's such a disappointing girl, you know? She completely abandoned despair and decided to sabotage us...

KEIKO: Sabotage?

MONOKUMA: Oh? You didn't hear? She did something. Something very bad to our family.

KEIKO: ...Which is?

MONOKUMA: I can't tell you! You don't even know anything!

KEIKO: And we're investigating, aren't we? I thought that's what you wanted. Kurokuma told us you set this all up.

MONOKUMA: You can find out yourself! You don't need to hear it from me!

MONOKUMA: How rude...I went through such great lengths in order to provide you guys with a sense of mystery, and you always betray my feelings...

NOAH: Well then, can you answer us this? Who are Rin and Kiyoshi Totaka?

MONOKUMA: Hm? Don't you think that's just Aya and Kiyomi respectively?

KEIKO: So they are part of the Enoshima family? Why are they going under different names?

MONOKUMA: You know, Keiko, it'll be rude to reveal someone's deep secrets like that to people you don't know. Even worse to people you do.

KEIKO: Y-You blabbed my secret out in front of everyone?

MONOKUMA: Well, it was bound to come out eventually. By the way, we're not exactly finished with that whole trial thing.

MONOKUMA: Now that you know about the resets and stuff...

KEIKO: What are you talking about? We still don't understand anything.

MONOKUMA: ...Then get on with it! What are you doing talking to me?

[He disappeared...]

Soundtrack: Ekoroshia

KEIKO: ...I hate him.

NOAH: Keiko, regarding your secret...perhaps it'd be best if you not bring it up to anyone.

KEIKO: But how can I not? Monokuma told everyone at Mirai's trial...

NOAH: I know, but it may not be the appropriate time to stress on that. If they remember and ask you about it, then you answer, but you shouldn't be too aggressive about it.

KEIKO: …

KEIKO: I really had no control over it. I can't explain it, but I didn't mean to kill Furo and Kirei. And I'm sure if I actually did kill Mirai, I wasn't trying to.

NOAH: ...I'm not so sure about that.

[...He doesn't trust me, huh?]

NOAH: Regardless, we should move on with this investigation.

KEIKO: Yeah...

[Investigate Mewoykins Statue]

NOAH: Take a look in the middle of the room. There's a Meowykins statue.

KEIKO: Oh. I almost forgot about that thing.

NOAH: Let's see...there's a nameplate below the statue here.

MEOWYKINS AI

Designed to keep the Hope's Peak Rehabilitation project peaceful and violence-free! Meowykins is a very peaceful and friendly AI. Is it a dog? Or is it a cat?

AB23iPPq0

NOAH: Meowykins? A friendly AI? I don't think so.

KEIKO: He was just as excited to kill us as Monokuma was. He even set up that battle royale.

NOAH: ...Hmm, the bears keep talking about some group of people that seems to be interfering with the computer system here. Perhaps...they interfered with Meowykins?

KEIKO: That code or whatever seems suspicious too.

NOAH: I wonder what it's for...

== Meowykins has been added as ammunition. (2)

Soundtrack: Mr. Monokuma's Lesson

MONOKUMA: You know, I kind of miss Meowykins. He was a cute slave.

NOAH: You're the one who killed him...

MONOKUMA: So? I don't regret killing him. As much as he resembled us, Meowykins isn't even a bear! He's not even family!

MONOKUMA: Is he a dog? Is he a cat? No one knows!

MONOKUMA: Upupu. He used to be so pure though. Poor, poor Meowykins.

[...And he disappeared again.]

Soundtrack: Ekoroshia

KEIKO: ...Huh?

*WHIRR. WHIRR. WHIRR.*

KEIKO: T-there's a portal coming from the ground!
NOAH: ...Does that mean there's nothing left to investigate here? It seems like we're being guided in a way.

KEIKO: Yeah...should we enter it?

NOAH: ...I think I might just stay here, in case we missed anything. You take the portal.

KEIKO: Oh, okay.

NOAH: Don't worry. It has nothing to do with my trust over you. I just want to make sure we haven't missed anything.

KEIKO: Yeah, that's fine.

[...Well, let's go into the next room, then.]

KEIKO: The portal is green...is this portal going to take me into the green portal, then?

[Here goes nothing..!]

Location: Green Portal | Time: ? | ?

KEIKO: This is the library.

[It's so eerie. All the bookshelves are empty...]

RYOKO: Yo!

KEIKO: R-Ryoko?!

RYOKO: Yo!

KEIKO: ...Ryoko?

RYOKO: Yo!

KEIKO: …

[Maybe this isn't Ryoko.]

[Investigate "Ryoko"]

RYOKO: Yo!

KEIKO: Er, yo.

RYOKO: Yo!

KEIKO: I...I don't suppose you're going to speak to me, are you?

RYOKO: Yo!

Soundtrack: Mr. Monokuma's Lesson

MONOKUMA: Oh dear. It looks like the reboot has even more glitches than just the location we're in.

KEIKO: ...You know, with everything going on, I still don't understand what you mean by "reset" and "reboot."

MONOKUMA: Well, to understand that, you'll need to know all about the Super Highschool Level Rehabilitation Project.

KEIKO: We've heard of that before, haven't we?

Flashback!

THE SUPER HIGHSCHOOL LEVEL REHIBILITATION PROJECT

KEIKO: Is that what computer program we're in?

MONOKUMA: Mmm, yeah. It was created by the Future Foundation. You've heard of that name before, right?

KEIKO: Yeah.

MONOKUMA: Upupu, that's an old group. They're a group of total misery and destruction. They keep trying to foil our plans...

KEIKO: Isn't that a good thing?

MONOKUMA: No! It's not a good thing at all! We're just peacefully trying to cultivate The Tragedy and they keep sticking their heads in the door!

KEIKO: The Tragedy..?

MONOKUMA: Okay, okay. One thing at a time.

MONOKUMA: In order to help you learn all about the Super Highschool Level Rehabilitation Project, I've written you a little novel! It's hidden somewhere in this library. Needed to fill these shelves up with something.

[...Off he goes.]

Soundtrack: Ekoroshia/Box 16

KEIKO: Super Highschool Level Rehabilitation Project, huh? And Monokuma mentioned something about The Tragedy? Why does everything keep piling up..?

[Investigate Rehabilitation Project Novel]

KEIKO: Found it! Let's see...

Soundtrack: A Dead End to the Ocean's Aroma

The Rehabilitation Project Novel

Written by Sexy Monokuma

The Super Highschool Level Rehabilitation Project, or Rehabilitation Project in short, was an updated and improved version of the previous attempt to rehabilitate Super Highschool Level Despairs, known as the Future Foundation Rehabilitation Program.

The Rehabilitation Project would see an updated version of the Future Foundation Rehabilitation Program that would provide updated features and improvements over the original program.

Firstly, the large system in order to install the students into the program has been replaced with a more space efficient wiring method. We can now hook up special helmets into the mainframe in order to install the mental wiring needed to start the program.

Second, the security has been improved, and the graduation requirement has been lifted. A new method of safely shutting down the program has been added, though the methods in order to do so are confidential.

Finally, the program is notable for now allowing multiple simulations to take place at once. Now, we can rehabilitate students at a much faster rate.

We've taken the measures necessary in order to fight off Super Highschool Level Despair a well. They should no longer be able to hack into our system and sabotage our efforts.

KEIKO: ...This is the rehabilitation project..? Is this what we're inside right now?

The method of inserting students into the program are also drastically simplified. We only require a mental wire in order to cultivate the neural connections required. However, with our new algorithm, we can do things such as edit looks, age, information, and talent.

We can also insert the students back in at any time. Should Meowykins somehow malfunction inside the program, we can easily put Meowykins back into the system with ease!

KEIKO: Insert into the system? Is this how...

[This could be how that malfunctioning Ryoko is over there...]

== Super Highschool Level Rehabilitation Project has been added as ammunition. (3)

Soundtrack: Mr. Monokuma's Lesson

MONOKUMA: So? Is your mind blown? Are you going crazy?

KEIKO: This is the program we're inside..? So we're here to be rehabilitated? For what?

MONOKUMA: Well, not exactly. You're not here for rehabilitation, you see..

KEIKO: Then what we here for?

MONOKUMA: That's a secret!

KEIKO: Okay, fine. I still don't understand the whole reset and reboot thing.

MONOKUMA: Upupu...sometimes things go wrong, and we need to reset the system. Create an entirely new situation.

KEIKO: S-So, you can cancel this thing at any time?! What, would we somehow start again from the beginning?

MONOKUMA: Basically, though we can change whatever we want when that happens.

KEIKO: ...I think I'm getting a headache. If that's the case, and you guys keep saying this killing game is so screwed up, why don't you just do a reset?

MONOKUMA: We've been trying to do that! But they keep interfering!

KEIKO: Who's they? Huh?

MONOKUMA: ...Upupu.

[Why does he keep disappearing like that?!]

Soundtrack: Ekoroshia/Box 16

[Investigate The Tragedy for Dummies.]

KEIKO: The Tragedy..? Monokuma mentioned this earlier, didn't he? That he and his group or whatever keeps trying to cultivate this Tragedy..?

[Maybe this will tell me what exactly this tragedy is...]

Soundtrack: A Dead End to the Ocean's Aroma

THE TRAGEDY

The Tragedy...or in other words, the biggest, most awful, most tragic event in human history. A tragic event that cultivated at Hope's Peak Academy, started by evil man Izuru Kamakura. This horrible event saw the whole world spontaneous combust into a hellfire of despair and agony! In fact, the whole world just burst into despair, and the whole world turned to shit. Ordinary men parading the streets, partaking in massive massacres...mothers leaving their children to cause great violence and vandalism...War broke out. War was everywhere – people killed, and killed, and killed somemore as despair continued to spread around the world. And in the end...there wasn't much left.

KEIKO: ...What is this? I don't believe this. The entire world spread out into despair?

Soundtrack: Mr. Monokuma's Extracurricular Lesson

MONOKUMA: Believe it! It was so beautiful, y'know..! There were bodies everywhere, and despair was spreading through the air like a rapid plague...

KEIKO: N-No way. If that's true, then how are we here at this school? Shouldn't we have known about this event anyways?

MONOKUMA: Upupu. Why would you? You aren't supposed to.

KEIKO: What..?

MONOKUMA: Anyways, this book leaves out one important detail. That has to do with our first killing game...how nostalgic!

KEIKO: F-first killing game? So there were more?

MONOKUMA: Oh, yeah. At least two.

[No way...]

MONOKUMA: All highschoolers too, just like you. At Hope's Peak, wouldn't you know?

KEIKO: But we're at Hope's Peak! I mean, we're underwater, but we came here thinking we'd be attending this school! So how could there be two previous killing games?

MONOKUMA: Who knows. Isn't that just a scary thought?

MONOKUMA: When the whole world bursts into despair...Everyone wants to see that again, you know.

KEIKO: ...No one wants to see that.

MONOKUMA: Maybe you should step outside into the real world, then. Upupu, you're still little so young, you know. Still a little baby duck...you can't even swim!

KEIKO: S-Shut up, dude. The world is fine...I know it is! And even if it's not, no one wants to bear such great despair for so long!

MONOKUMA: Is that what you think?

MONOKUMA: Hmm. And if anything, I thought you'd want to see despair more than anyone!

KEIKO: What do you mean..?

MONOKUMA: Upupupu...nyahahaha!

[Damn...he disappeared again!]

== The Tragedy has been added as ammunition. (4)

Soundtrack: Ekoroshia/Box 16

[There's just no way that's true. There's no possible way that's true.]

[Investigate Textbook]

KEIKO: T-This is the texbook! We've been looking for this thing for so long!

[Let's take a look, then.]

KEIKO: …

[These are just student files. Everyone's in here. Hideki, Yayoi, Micky, Rhyssa, Takayashi, Ryoko, Furo, Kirei, Kaito, Hikaru, Noah, Unmei, Shougo, Yoshinori...Huh? Who are Haruka and Mei?]

KEIKO: Haruka...Mei...where they supposed to be students here? And Mirai and I aren't listed here either...

[Did we replace them or something? What's going on?]

== Textbook has been added as ammunition. (5)

Soundtrack: Warriors of Hope

KUROKUMA: Yo, it's Keiko!

SHIROKUMA: Oh, wow! Hi Keiko!

KEIKO: Oh, yay...it's you two.

KUROKUMA: Man, I'm so tired. I just talked to everyone about this final trial thing, and they're so stressed out! They're making me stressed too!

SHIROKUMA: Do you want a massage, Kurokuma?

KUROKUMA: Hell no! You can't give good massages, Shiro!

SHIROKUMA: It's true...my masseur skills are terrible.

KEIKO: So, what are you two doing here?

KUROKUMA: Man, I kind of just wanted to see your face before it gets beaten the hell up. No one will be able to recognize you!

SHIROKUMA: You don't know that! Maybe the others will show Keiko some kindness and compassion!

KUROKUMA: Ha! Hell no, they're pissed the fuck off! The only time I got someone as pissed as that was when I went to that nudist beach, and –

KEIKO: What do you mean? Are they mad at me for that?

KUROKUMA: They were sooo mad, even I got scared that they'd beat my poor face in!

SHIROKUMA: Yeah...but don't worry, I would have protected you!

KUROKUMA: The only way you could possibly protect me is if you jumped in the way of a fistfight while I ran to get help.

SHIROKUMA: I know I'm weak, but I have to try!

KEIKO: S-So, they're really mad..?

KUROKUMA: Yeah, girl! Why did you have to kill Furo and Kirei anyways? Whoever they are?

KEIKO: ...I don't know. I don't know why I did it.

KUROKUMA: Well if you're going to go to the next portal, you'd better be careful! Mirai's there.

Music Halts

KEIKO: M-Mirai?! What's he doing here? He's not dead..?

Soundtrack: All All Apologies

[H-How? I killed him, apparently...he's not dead?]

KUROKUMA: Yeah, when we did the reset, we didn't have a save point to load from until before Mirai and Yoshinori were killed.

KEIKO: S-So, Yoshinori is alive too?

KUROKUMA: Regrettably so.

[M-Mirai's in the next room, then? How am I possibly going to face him..?]

KEIKO: ...Um, I don't know if I can go in.

KUROKUMA: You hafta! It's part of the investigation!

KEIKO: …

[I have to apologize...for killing him. Sounds so surreal, saying it like that...]

Soundtrack: Ekoroshia/Box 16

KEIKO: Um, before I go, what do you mean save point?

KUROKUMA: …

KUROKUMA: Raguuu..!

KEIKO: Ragu..?

SHIROKUMA: I'll tell you, Keiko! I can do it!

SHIROKUMA: You see, the new rehabilitation program has a neat feature, where the system automatically creates backups after important events!

KEIKO: I-I see. So like, after trials?

SHIROKUMA: Yup. Backups are created after deaths, trials, after a day ends and begins, or they can be manually made by an administrator.

KEIKO: An administrator..? Are any of you bears administrators?

SHIROKUMA: No...not to this killing game, sadly. Only Monokuma has some administrative powers, but even then, he doesn't have all the abilities available.

KEIKO: Wait, if backups are rewinds, then how are we retaining our past memories..?

KUROKUMA: It's a damn flaw! Fuckin' Future Foundation was too lazy to fix it, too. Said they didn't need backups that much, so there was no point.

[So after backups happen, we still retain our memories?]

== Backups have been added as ammunition. (6)

*WHIRR! WHIRR! WHIRR!*

KEIKO: Ah!

[It's the white portal...]

KEIKO: S-So, Mirai is behind that portal, is he?

KUROKUMA: Oof! Good luck to you, girl! He seemed fuming! He was madder than most!

KEIKO: Was he?

KUROKUMA: Yeah! I mentioned your name once, and he socked me straight across the face! Almost gave me a black eye! He even knocked me straight across the room!

KEIKO: That's kind of scary.

SHIROKUMA: I gave his booboo a kiss though, so it's okay.

[Not his injury...]

KEIKO: Alright, Keiko. It's gonna be okay. Mirai will understand...

[I mean, I told him about my secret, right? No...that's not a justification for killing him. I just hope he'll forgive me.]

KEIKO: …

KEIKO: Well, here I go.

[…]

Music Halts

SHIROKUMA: She went into the portal. Upupu, I wonder what Mirai will do to her? He did look really mad.

KUROKUMA: Wait a minute, we still never found out how Mirai and Yoshinori got killed.

SHIROKUMA: Oh, yeah, we didn't.

KUROKUMA: Maybe that will come up in the trial.

SHIROKUMA: Maybe it will.
