AN: Hey guys. Recently, I've decided I want to be really good at updating until the end of the story, lol. So to make up for the months of my absence, I'm going to try to update a lot more frequently. Maybe weekly, a couple times a week, who knows. However, for the rest of this week and next week, I'll have nothing to give you, because of the damn cursed finals. So I'm gonna post this little extra to tide you guys over and hopefully reassure you guys that I'm most likely not going to drop off the face of the Earth again. Hopefully. No promises. But I'll try my best.

KUROKUMA & MONOKUMA'S GRAVEYARD SHIFT

KUROKUMA: ...Oi, Monokuma, I told you, I wanted to be the principal for this killing game. Why you always gotta one-up me like that?

MONOKUMA: Hmm? But I thought I was superior in almost every way?

KUROKUMA: While I won't deny your smarts, you can't out me in style, y'know. Sometimes a bear's external appearance is very important when moderating a group of violent students.

MONOKUMA: Is that so? Tell me more, I didn't know about this!

KUROKUMA: Well, er, you know that movie Grease?

MONOKUMA: Doesn't ring any bells.

KUROKUMA: Well, they're all like, old, but they have such great style, you know?

MONOKUMA: Are these old guys principals?

KUROKUMA: Huh? No, I mean, they're young in the movie.

MONOKUMA: What are you talking about..? I hate it when you confuse me...

KUROKUMA: Sorry, boss! Hey, wanna talk about something else?

MONOKUMA: Hmm? Like what?

KUROKUMA: All these dead kids, and we all talk about them like nothing ever happened, y'know?

MONOKUMA: Don't you know that if you die in this killing game, you're entirely unqualified to be discussed?

KUROKUMA: Oh? Is that right?

MONOKUMA: Upupupu, just look at Hideki.

KUROKUMA: Was that the gamer guy? He had no style at all. Overplayed the game aspect waaayy too much.

MONOKUMA: Hideki was one of those characters who didn't get any characterization whatsoever. So it was surprising that he died, wasn't it?

KUROKUMA: But maybe that's a sign! He didn't get enough screentime at all, so it wasn't surprising that he died because he was so unmemorable.

MONOKUMA: I wonder what would have happened if Hideki had more screentime...

If Hideki had not been killed Chapter 1, he may have replaced Shougo...Sometimes, I wish I've done more with BOTH characters, because I feel like Shougo hasn't received the distinct personality or traits he deserves, and Hideki wasn't a great first victim.

MONOKUMA: Oh? Who was that?

KUROKUMA: I don't know! We just started asking about the dead people, and now all of a sudden there's these damn voices in my head! You hear them too?

MONOKUMA: Yeah. Upupupu, maybe it's someone from up above trying to tell us something! A behind the scenes kind of thing!

KUROKUMA: Should we try again? Who was the first killer? Yayoi Adachi?

Yayoi was destined to be the killer Chapter 1 because of her relationship with Shougo. Being siblings, I never saw a reason for Yayoi to NOT be the first killer, and I tried to give her somewhat of a personality where her being the killer was unpredictable. I kind of liked the sibling motive. But why was it so specific..? Maybe...

KUROKUMA: Wow! It happened again! We got more insight!

MONOKUMA: These answers aren't that interesting though, you know?

KUROKUMA: Is this a Q&A kind of thing? Should we ask MORE questions?

MONOKUMA: Yeah, I wanna know about Micky! Tell me about Micky!

If Micky wasn't the victim in Chapter 2, he most likely would have been replaced by Shougo. It would have been despairing for Shougo to have died right after his sister's death, similar to how they originally planned to kill Fuyuhiko after Chapter 2 in SDR2 (though I'm glad they didn't.)

KUROKUMA: Oi, these are just alternative story options.

MONOKUMA: Like a Danganronpa IF?

KUROKUMA: Ohh! I like that!

MEOWYKINS: Why, hey y'all!

MONOKUMA: Oh, Meowykins. Where did you come from?

MEOWYKINS: I just happened to drop by. You know, y'all are some mean people for not featuring me in a while. That's why I came here! I'm one of the mascots for this game - I deserve some more!

MONOKUMA: You know Meowykins, I've always wondered. Were you a cat, or were you a dog?

MEOWYKINS: Y-Y-Y'all got some strange questions.

It's ambiguous.

MONOKUMA: It's not a strange question. You look like a dog, but your name is Meowykins and you meow like a cat.

KUROKUMA: Oi, you know who else meows like a cat?

MEOWYKINS: Who?

KUROKUMA: Puhu...Rhyssa.

MONOKUMA: It's not unlike a sassy girl to purr like a cat sometimes. She was in showbusiness.

If Rhyssa wasn't the killer in Chapter 2, it would have probably been Umnei. Rhyssa might have replaced Unmei. I guess I thought she fit the Phantom motif best at the time, though if I'm being honest, I don't really remember why I made Rhyssa the killer besides that it felt sort of right. I felt like her execution was a little too racy but I've put a lot of sexual innuendos in this story, so I don't really mind it. Danganronpa has a lot of sexual innuendos overall, and it's not like this execution was that racy...right?

MONOKUMA: Welp, I'm tired, you guys. I think it's time for a little rest, how about you?

MEOWYKINS: No! I came too late..! I need more time on the big screen!

KUROKUMA: Naw, I'm tired too, man. I'll see you next chapter, Monokuma. Not you, Meowykins, cause you died! Ha! Loser.

MEOWYKINS: N-nya...
