Chapter 9: No more lies.

Even though Haruhi didn't love Hikaru she tried her best to seem as believable as possible but being 2 months pregnant, with raging hormones, it wasn't even remotely easy. Hiding her bump on the other hand, not so hard. She actually only had a small curve that could easily be mistaken for beauty fat as her frame was so small.

Every time she would walk past Tamaki in the hall she always had to look down, it was getting harder and harder to look at him, and even harder thinking about him. Sometimes she would cry the whole night away and to tell the truth her father was becoming to get very worried about her.

It was a beautiful day today the sun casting amazing shadows across the field and the tree's shining like nothing before, there wasn't even a cloud in the sky. No one was here yet but she liked to bask in the empty room remembering all the time she and Tamaki had spent together. She remembered the night they made love on the very sofa she was sitting on now. She traced patterns on the seat smiling to herself.

She heard someone clear their throat sharply and she looked up to see non-other than Kyoya, the one who had helped her so much these past 2 months.

"We need to talk." He said without hesitation eyes flashing with something. Sympathy? No. Maybe. She stood up brushing of the imaginary lint of her dress.

"Yes?"

"Not here. Come." He gestured her to follow him into the back room. Questions were flying through her mind at light speed each one vying to be asked. Once inside he closed the door softly and sat on one of the two chair he then pointed at the one opposite him telling her silently to sit. "It's about Hikaru."

Nanako was walking with Tamaki joined at her hip through the hall on the way to his locker. Everyone by now had heard of the heart breaking story of how Tamaki and Haruhi had been ripped apart. They had all seen the love they shared at the dance. How the light shone on their love struck faces giving them a more romantic atmosphere. A pair made in heaven.

Now a pair destroyed in the pits of hell.

Today of all days had been one of a kind, gossip was going around the school and neither Nanako nor Tamaki knew what it was about. For some reason they had been avoiding them and Tamaki was being thrown sympathetic looks all day.

Now Nanako not knowing something could be disastrous. She needed to know everything about everything and everyone and not knowing one little thing could blow of her wit and leave her stranded.

So at lunch she saw a group of girls chatting and thought they might know, she turned to Tamaki who was obviously beside her and said she would only be a second.

"Whatever." He huffed turning back to his locker. She frowned her eyebrows these days he had been even more depressing and stoic than Kyoya and that was saying something. She left in a hurry and approached the girl's head on.

She looked at the group quickly and grabbed the one who seemed to be talking the most. The other girls around looked taken back but she didn't care much on the other hand the girl she was holding seemed very upset about being dragged away from her friends.

"Hey! Let me go!" She shouted tugging out of Nanako's grip but she only held tighter, dragging her to the girl's bathroom. Practically throwing her through the door Nanako pinned her to the tile wall. "What do you want?" The girl was now trembling her anger drained into fear.

"Oh, nothing much…" She carelessly said, "Just what the fuck you guys have been chatting about." Nanako said voice full of venom as she spat out each word. The girl in front of her opened her eyes wide and started to shake a little.

"O-oh w-we weren't t-talking about y-you!" She stuttered out. Ok, so that theory got shut down, so they weren't sorry for Tamaki being with her. So what was it?

"Ok I'm going to ask you one more time." Nanako seethed stepping a few paces back from the small girl. "What were you talking about?" She said jabbing the girl's sternum then added. "And don't you dare think about lying to me."

The girl nodded.

"Ok what about Hikaru?" Haruhi asked curiously, could they be onto her? Was he in trouble? What was going on?

Kyoya lifted his glasses to rub his eyes then placed them back onto the bridge of his nose. "What are you trying to pull?" He asked crossing his legs and looking at her expectantly. Oh no. should she tell the truth or lie like she lied to Hikaru.

"I… I nothing."

"Don't give me that bullshit!" Kyoya stood up pacing. "You're tearing thins establishment apart, what happens when you tell Hikaru the truth, or when you tell you dad the baby is Tamaki's. Because I guaranty that child will either have violet eyes or blond hair and if you haven't notice you nor Hikaru have neither." Haruhi's eyes started to burn with tears.

"I never wanted this to happen!" She shouted back.

"Well it did and once Hikaru finds out you don't really love him, a war will start!"

Tears started to slip out of her eyes and down her cheeks. "You know what? I quit!" She cried. "And I do love him you don't know anything." She started to make her way over to the door when Kyoya grabbed her wrist stopping her.

"Just keep telling yourself that." He said calmly.

Haruhi looked to the floor. "I will." She whispered and just like that she was gone running home. She didn't know how she was going to explain this to her dad but she was going to tell him the truth and that was for certain. No more lies.

Nanako waited for the girl to explain everything how everyone thought Haruhi was pregnant and how it would have to be Tamaki's and also that the sympathetic glances were for Tamaki because she was now dating Hikaru. It was so messed up that she loved it. Obviously Haruhi being pregnant would be a problem.

She had to get her out the school away from her Tamaki, an as for her not so secrete relationship with Hikaru, she could always use that against her fiancé make him feel all hope is gone. Then he would have no other choice than to marry her.

This was perfect.
