Nenshō escorted Kumo to Ibiki's apartment before heading out; he checked his watch and sighed. He only had several hours to spare before he could enact his plan. He had intended to go forward with it when he first entered into the leaf village, knowing it would be the only way Kumo could live within the village peacefully and without the Hyūga clan looming over him as a constant threat. In truth he would have acted almost as soon as he entered the village if it hadn't been for Tenten. Now he almost wishing he had done it sooner and saved himself the trouble he was going to have to deal with now.
Nenshō stamped out his cigarette and tried to put on his best casual face as he entered into the Yamanaka flower shop.
"Welcome to the Yamanaka flower… oh hello Nenshō." Ino greeted him from behind the shops counter.
"Hey Ino." He greeted her walking up to her and leaning on the counter.
"Getting something for Tenten?" she asked him giving a knowing smirk.
"Yeah" he nodded, "I'll have your best bouquet, spare no expense."
Ino raised an eyebrow. "That's pretty pricy, there some special occasion I don't know about?"
Nenshō chuckled a little. "No I just felt like getting something nice is all."
Ino smiled. "Oh she's a lucky girl." Ino turned around and began arranging the flowers into a bouquet.
"So how have you in Kumo been doing?" he asked trying to pass the time with some small talk.
"Good, as usual." She said wrapping the flowers she had arranged.
"That's good I know he's been busy now that he's working at the Intelligence Division. I haven't seen him that much since he got the job so I was a little worried he might not be giving you the time of day."
"He's been making time, and it helps that he works with my dad there." She explained tying a string around the bouquet.
"Yeah I forgot your dad worked in the Intelligence division as well, I think Kumo mentioned it once. They get along well together?"
She nodded. "Yeah Dad doesn't seem to mind Kumo that much he's actually invited him to have dinner with us plenty of times."
"That's good" he said as she put the bouquet on the counter in front of him. "How much do I owe you?"
"It's on the house." She said leaning against the counter.
"Really?" he said putting his wallet away. "You sure?"
She nodded and gave a little smile. "Just so long as you promise to tell Kumo to spoil me like this now and then."
Nenshō gave her a wry smile. "I'll be sure to do that."
He picked up the flowers and headed for the shops door and turned around. "You know that time I threatened you to stay away from Kumo and to stop trying to see behind his goggles?"
She nodded "Yeah."
"I don't think I've ever said this… but I'm happy you ignored my threat, and I'm glad we became friends."
"So am I." she answered as he rushed out the door.
…
Nenshō slipped into Tenten's apartment through her window. The sound of running water told him she was in the shower. He checked his watch, plenty of time spare for a visit. He set the Bouquet on her bed and took a seat next to it waiting patiently for her to finish her shower. He looked around the familiar room at all the little photos of her and Team Guy the various scrolls and weapons around her place. He picked up a Dao leaning against the wall and felt its weight and sharpness. He bent the swords metal not changing the metals shape but adjusting the balance and giving the blade a flawless edge that only he could give it. The sound of running water stopped and he watched the bathroom door as she came out in a pink bathrobe trailing steam behind her. Her dark chocolate hair was down and was still damp from her shower. He always liked seeing her with her hair down.
"Nenshō!" she cried seeing him and rushing into his awaiting arms.
"Hey babe." He greeted hugging her close to him. She kissed him a gesture he was more than happy to accept. His senses were bombarded between her moist skin, soft lips and combined sent of soap and shampoo. He reached behind him and grabbed the flowers handing them to her. Her face lit up at the sight of them.
"What's the occasion?" she whispered taking the flowers from him.
"No occasion" he explained, "I didn't know I needed an occasion to make my girl feel special."
She squeezed him. "Then how about I make you dinner and make you feel special?" she said a wicked grin on her face.
Nenshō looked outside; the sun had finally finished setting in the west. He shook his head, "Sorry, I have some plans, I don't have time for dinner."
She smiled and undid the knot of her bathrobe letting it open to him. "At least tell me you have time to let me make you feel special." She said kissing his neck.
"I don't know." He said trying to compose himself as he felt her teeth rake against his neck driving him crazy. "That shower of yours took longer than I thought and it's really important."
She didn't say anything to him she just shrugged off the bathrobe and pressed herself into him more. Nenshō cursed himself as he put his arms around him and kissed her forehead.
"I guess I'll make time then."
…..
Nenshō slipped out of Tenten's apartment as quietly as he could manage taking extra care not to wake her as she slept. He checked the time and rejoiced to see that he still had time. He stepped out onto the road catching sight of her as she walked home from training.
"Hey Hinata." He greeted her stepping up to her to walk by her side.
"Oh hello Nenshō how-" she was cut off as she felt herself being stabbed by a needle. Nenshō had stabbed a syringe into her shoulder pumping the clear liquid into her. She tried to punch him but the drug was already taking effect the strike was slow and sluggish he easy blocked it. Managing to empty the syringe into her. Ibiki had lent him the drug and syringe for this, though he hadn't explained his intentions to him.
"I'm sorry Hinata." He whispered as he felt her slumping against him and losing consciousness. "I'm sorry for everything I'm about to do."
He pulled the needle out and gathered her sleeping body up in his arms and walked with her in his arms towards the Hyūga compound.
He stopped just outside the walls to the compound. "Who's there?" one of the guards asked him Byakugan activated.
"My name is Nenshō Kinzoku." He replied, "I found Hinata Hyūga lying unconscious on the road and I'm trying to return her home, I'm a friend of hers."
The guards spoke for a second before opening the gate to let him in. Hiashi Hyūga was there to greet him.
"Thank you for returning my daughter, please come in."
