The scene that came into focus as the transporter haze cleared showed a rampaging Vulcan, flipping tables and rendering friend and foe alike unconscious. The Poker Posse performed a comic, drunken dance trying to subdue the crazed Vulcan while simultaneously trying not to become the next casualty.

So far the Poker Posse hadn't made any progress. Neither had the bar patrons.

As was her habit in bars, Uhura fought her way through inebriated but agitated bar patrons to get to Spock, accidentally knocking Kirk and McCoy silly as they stepped into punches aimed at Spock's attackers. Finally next to her mate, Uhura threw her arms around Spock.

Slapping her comm with her hand, she signaled Pavel to get them the hell off the planet.

"Two to beam up!"

Transporter fog had scarcely cleared in front of them on the pad before Uhura barked out a command to Pavel to bring the rest of the ossified Enterprise meeting attendants back home.

Spock seemed calm enough when she threw her arms around him in the bar. Initially she sensed only arousal after their energetic fight, possibly amped up by his apparent intoxication.

That changed as they jogged towards their quarters.

"Chekov to Uhura. I have the rest of the away team on board. Returning transporter operations to the shift crew. Chekov out."

Spock entered their quarters broadcasting lust. His normally serene telepathy roared so strongly through their rooms that it woke Grayson, who mistook his father's drunkenness and sexual obsession with Uhura for an illness.

Uhura understood what was happening: Kirk had over-spiked her husband's drinks. She didn't smell cinnamon in his sweat or on his clothes so it must have been chocolate.

This much chocolate always initiated a mini Pon Farr in Spock.

Putting an emergency call through to Pavel, she quickly grabbed and packed a bag for Grayson, thanking a perplexed Carol as Uhura bodily muscled her out of their quarters with a promise of an explanation later.

Her hasty words to the confused Pavel - explaining the crisis and what she needed him to do - nearly turned violent when Spock's chest hair stood on end at the sight of another man near his mate. Pavel - no fool himself - snatched Grayson and the bag and hauled ass out the door. Thankfully, he heard the last of Uhura's instructions, stopping by the captain's quarters and by Sickbay before taking Grayson to his own quarters.

For 72 straight hours Mr. Spock reintroduced Mrs. Spock to his Vulcan side.

Horizontally. Mostly.

Then Spock passed out.

But not before his unshielded mind revealed the name of the meeting's participants as a group.

Kirk's BadA$$ Boys' Club.

Having broken the marital drought with her mate, Uhura lay underneath Spock, satiated beyond measure and sore beyond belief.

She'd let McCoy explain to Kirk why she wouldn't be reporting for duty at all this week. She'd also have Spock check her in six weeks; he'd want to let her know how "mini" this Pon Farr had been.

What a lucky woman I am... drifted through her head as exhaustion took over.

If Kirk and Spock kept the club operating, she speculated, Spock might experience more Pon Farr episodes than any Vulcan in history - and he was only half Vulcan.

She considered sending a "Thank You" note to the club.
