Sutōkā left with the other two ANBU leaving Kumo alone with Kusari. They left Nenshō's "I am pleased to see you have agreed to meet me Kumo," the man said standing up, "Believe me when I tell you I've been paying close attention to your career as a shinobi.""You mean you were watching me in hopes I'd come into contact with Nenshō," Kumo said refusing to listen to the man's attempt at flattery.Kusari smirked, "Yes," he said simply, "ever since Nenshō left the Hidden Leaf you've been carefully monitored by my contacts in the ANBU Blackops in case the two of you should ever come into contact with one another."Kumo reached inside his jacket and pulled out his pipe and matches. "How did you establish your foothold in the ANBU Blackops? It is the one thing I still don't truly understand in all of this.""I believe I would be the best to answer that particular question Mr. Sabaku."
Kumo turned around to see an elderly man approach them from behind. He too was dressed in formal attire. His face was old and wrinkled but he was clearly very healthy for his age. Two fleshy stumps were wrapped and in the sleeves of his kimono."You!" Kumo said clenching his fist. "My name is Doragon Kinzoku," the man said, "But it seems you recognize me.""I saw you in the Land of Mountains," Kumo said, "I wasn't in the tent at the time," he explained, "But I saw you with my byakugan.""So you were there," the man said looking at his stumps before turning his gaze to Nenshō who was quietly laying on the ground unconscious, "That night my grandson took my hands from me."Pieces started fitting together, "Your why Nenshō is here," Kumo said his voice dangerously low, "you're going to steal his Kekkei Genkai, you're going to take his hands and graft them onto your arms.""Indeed," Doragon said stepping closer to his sleeping grandson, "When the ANBU attacked the encampment they found me wounded and dying of blood loss. But if seems even the revered ANBU Blackops of the Hidden Leaf aren't above corruption. In an attempt to save my life I told them a very interesting story I believed they would take an interest in I told them of a very interesting village forming in the Land of Iron. As you can see they were very interested in what I had to tell them so interested in fact they spared my life and brought me to the village where they continued to learn of the Village Hidden in the Glaciers. In a rather strange turn of events I had learned my grandson had assassinated the famous Hiashi of the Hyuga clan.
That was when I was approached by several members of the ANBU Blackops all members of the famous Hyuga clan all having new questions about the new Village, that was when I had learned what my son had done. After Hiashi's death many in the Hyuga clan began to distance themselves from the Hidden Leaf. Hiashi's daughter took her place as head of her clan and began changing the very nature of the Hyuga clan tearing down generations of clan traditions, what was more the 5th Hokage and the rest of the Leaf supported her actions despite the protests of many of her fellow clan members. The Hyuga and many members of the ANBU came to me wishing to find this place and leave the Hidden Leaf Village well behind them. Because of this they brought me here."Kumo looked at the old man, "I don't understand," he said, "You told Nenshō the Kinzoku clan had destroyed the Village forming in the Land of Iron, you said you had killed everyone and took his farther as a prisoner in an attempt to breed his Kekkei Genkai into your clan's lineage.""That was a lie," Kusari said simply stepping closer to Doragon, "Or I suppose the proper term would be that it was simply a half truth.""Decades ago a Hidden Village was indeed being formed in this country," Kusari explained, "Despite the protests of the Samurai controlling this county my Clan began gathering shinobi for this village. However despite their best efforts the Feudal Lords of this county had their hearts set on establishing a shinobi village within the Land of Iron and ignored the protests of the Samurai. My clan set to work at once building this place until the subject of the villages Kage was brought to the table. It was believed that I would take the Seat of Kage because of my position in the Land of Iron. I was the eldest son of my family and heir to my clan, not only that but I had already proven myself a capable warrior in the 4th
Great Shinobi War, it seemed that I was the obvious choice for the Villages Kage. However the Feudal Lords did not share in that opinion."Kusari gritted his teeth as he looked down at Nenshō, "My younger brother Nenshō's farther who had never fought in the war was instead pronounced as the villages Kage. He had hardly seen the fury of battle but he was pronounced to be my better. I was thus forced to obey my brother and my entire clan willingly accepted him as the leader of their village.""You killed him," Kumo said simply, he could tell the direction the story was moving, and it disgusted him.Kusari smirked as if he was proud of what he had done to his own kin. "We are shinobi after all," he explained, "The Land of Iron rejected the use of shinobi for centuries instead choosing to have Samurai control its military. The samurai were afraid that with this new village they would lose control of their political and military power in this country and agreed to help me dispose of the up and coming Kage. We privately employed the Kinzoku clan of the hidden sand village to… dispose of our troubles completely.""You destroyed an entire village," Kumo said darkly, "Just because you didn't become Kage?"
