Banished Love of a Prince and a Blacksmith
Chapter 2
Tony slouched in his chair, his head rested on his arm as he slept. He had spent the whole night working on plans for Loki's helmet, he found it hard at first as he had a feeling that Loki was hard to please and he wanted to make an impression; obviously a good one.
He decided to go with a similar gold like his old helmet but that was too simple, he was at a loss and his head felt like it was going to explode though soon after he fell asleep which could be considered as a good thing. Tony was glad that his head had not yet exploded as he and his brain got on quite nicely.
"Stupid metal, stupid helmet," A small groan came from the lump which was slumped against the desk. Tony lifted his head and sighed. He slammed his head back down onto the desk ignoring the pain that shot through his head.
In that moment the door opened and slammed shut leaving a cool breeze throughout the workshop.
"Umm…Mr Tony are ya' here?" A small joyful voice called out.
"Yeah," Tony mumbled into his arm, raising one of his arms and waved it about, signalling to whoever it was.
"Oh good," The person muttered. Tony heard footsteps behind him, to be honest he didn't overly like having unseen possible strangers moving behind him, it made him slightly paranoid though he would never admit it; they could be doing anything such as preparing to kill him, that thought itself made him feel slightly uncomfortable.
Tony lifted his head from the table and looked into the direct of the footsteps to find not a 'stranger killer person' but actually the kid Fenrir from the other day. To Tony's surprise the kid suddenly erupted into hysterics, Tony raised his eye brows at the boy and rolled his eyes.
"What's so funny kid?" Seriously I didn't know my face was that funny looking…I actually like my face," Tony resorted.
"Haha…My god, no it's nothing to…do with you're actual face but you may want a mirror," Fenrir replied, still in a fit of laughter as he pointed at his own face in example of Tony's. Tony scowled and ran his hand down his cheek, he removed his hand from his face and looked down at it; it had black smudges covering it. Tony groaned and shook his head disgruntledly, he leaned his head back onto that same hand and smudges the black ink back onto his face.
"Ah! For fuc…for forge sake, God I need a drink," Tony cursed, he got up from where he sat and walked over to a bar like space, he grabbed a glass goblet and a glass bottle with clear light brown liquid in it, he poured the liquid into the goblet and then drank from it.
With the goblet in hand he turned back around to face Fenrir who had stopped laughing and now just stood there innocently with his hands behind his back as he rocked back and forth on his feet.
"Ah! Much better, why exactly are you here kid?" Tony asked, downing his drink.
"I'm just extremely bored," Fenrir answered in a sing song tone. Tony raised an eyebrow and sighed softly; to be honest he appreciated the fact that Fenrir had come to see him but then again he had so much to do before his highness got there to pick up a helmet in which he had been told would be ready by now, Tony kicked himself mentally for falling asleep.
"Sorry Fen…wow okay that's your new nickname, you like it? Well good you better. What was I saying oh yes, sorry Fen but I'm a bit busy right now go play with the horses or maybe go hunting for a girlfriend…I don't know you get the point," Tony rambled.
"Well you don't exactly look busy unless you call standing and holding an empty glass busy but oh well I'm just a lonely kid who does not know anything…sigh…fine I'll go, I'm going and then you will be all alone, the world is so cold," Fenrir said dramatically.
Tony knew that he was being guilt tripped by the little punk but he couldn't help but realise how true his words where, if Fenrir wasn't here he would be all alone but then again the twerp had just been sarcastic to him….to Tony frickin' Stark.
"Umm…not busy look there now I am busy, now go," Tony sniggered as he poured some more alcohol into his glass and sipped it. Fenrir pouted and turned away from the older man.
"God I'm going to regret this but…" Tony grumbled to himself. "But you can stay," Fenrir's slouched posture turned straight as he turned to face Tony again, a joyful grin on his face as he rushed up to Tony and hugged him tightly.
"Thanks Tony, so what do ya need doing?" Fenrir asked, peering up at the man as he continued to hug his waist. Tony groaned in discomfort as he tried to pull Fenrir off of him but failed miserable.
"Well there is a helmet which needs planning and making," Tony replied, still trying to pull Fenrir off of him, he was never one for 'Physical contact ' and Fenrir was not going to be an exception, who would he make an exception for? For some reason only one name came to mind but he wouldn't allow himself to dwell on that thought.
"Oh! Fun," Fenrir replied as he pulled away from Tony, Tony didn't know if Fenrir meant it sarcastically or not but he didn't overly care; if the kid didn't like it he could go. Tony grunted in displeasure as he stretched his back muscles. "Note to self…don't fall asleep at your desk ever again it fucks you up and one day you may have to wear a metal suit or something to keep your limbs together," Tony mused.
"Okey dokey let's get started…Umm Fen do you know anything about designing or blacksmithing?" Tony asked; realising that Fenrir probably had no clue of what he would have to do.
"Nope,"
Loki was up in his chambers, his long body spread out on his king size bed. The whole room was lavished in green, black and gold furniture and cloth, the finest Asgardian fur and all things Loki. Loki had a book in his hand; it was black leather but it was tattered with a broken spine, on the front were the words 'Lonely worlds' which was embroiled in gold.
"The solemn tones of an old cathedral clock have announced midnight- the air is thick and heavy- a strange, death like stillness pervades all nature. Like the ominous calm which precedes some more than usually terrific outbreak of the elements, they seem to have paused even in their ordinary fluctuations, to gather a tremendous strength for the great effort. A faint peal of thunder now comes from far off. Like a signal gun for the battle of the winds to begin, it appeared to awaken them from their lethargy, and one awful, warring hurricane swept over a whole city, producing more devastation in the four or five minutes it lasted, than would a half century of ordinary phenomena…" Loki read out loud, closing the book as he spoke the last word.
He slipped his hand underneath the metal of his black rimmed glasses and slipped them off his face, and placed them to the side. Loki reached up to his face; he pressed his palm to his cheek as he sighed heavily.
He stayed like that for a couple of minutes, with his eyes closed as if he was trying to block out the rest of the world. Loki opened his eyes as his arm fell to his side, an emotionless expression on his face as he stood from where he sat.
He walked up to his desk and picked up a green book which was in better condition than the black one he was reading earlier. He made his way out of the room and into the rest of the kingdom until he got to a garden; the garden itself was beautiful, the unique colours and flowers, and the fresh green grass but what really court Loki's eye was a beautiful maiden who had her back towards him.
Her hair was the colour of blue pale pearls; it was tied up into a plait which hung down passed her lower back. Her body was framed beautifully which was adored by a white and blue dress, Loki could only imagine what her face was like; he guessed that it would be just as perfect as the rest of her. It was strange for Loki to be dwelling on thing such as beauty and an odd person, he never looked for companionship; it was always just a one night thing.
Loki ignored his thoughts and sat down on one of the benches nearby, he opened the green book onto a clean page. He moved his hand in a circular motion and with a flash of green a pot of ink and quill appeared in his hands.
"Umm…are you a sorcerer?" A sweet feminine voice asked, Loki looked up from his book to see the maiden from earlier, her eyes were a blazing blue and her skin was tanned contrasting with each other perfectly; Loki was right she was just as beautiful from the front as she was from the back.
"Well I can wield magic…so I guess I am," Loki replied as he placed the book, ink and the quill to the side of him. He smiled up at the young women and she smiled back.
"Wow really, I love magic but my father would never let me learn it…he would always tell me that it would make me un-pure, it would corrupt me," She said as she sat down on the opposite side of Loki, a smile still faintly on her lips.
"He's wrong you know, magic doesn't corrupt you or make you un-pure, it's the past that does that; maybe he was worried that you would be stronger than him one day," Loki mused, he stared at the ground in front of him.
"That's very wise, maybe he is…hmm I never thought about it that way, thank you. My name is Amahel by the way, it's nice to meet you," She pushed her hair out of her face as she looked over to Loki, waiting to see what he would say back.
"An elven name how come?" Loki questioned, it was a simple enough question and maybe a bit blunt but Loki hardly cared.
"My mother was an elf but my father was human, so I guess my mother named me, so what's your name?" Amahel asked, biting her lip nervously.
"My name is Loki…Lau, never mind." Loki sighed; he closed his eyes and leant his head backwards against the bench as the sunlight glimmered upon them.
"Haha…Alright then…..It sure is lovely here hey Loki, it's so beautiful and there are so many flowers and the sun is always shining," Amahel mused as she smiled up at the sky. Loki hummed in agreement. They stayed like that for a few minutes, in silence though it was not awkward it was quite the opposite; it was very peaceful as they sat underneath the glorious sunshine.
Moments passed; birds and insects were the only things that could be heard. Though an older woman appeared her hair blonde and curly which was up in a bun, she seemed small for her age and she was thin.
She walked up to Loki and Amahel, she smiled at them and placed a hand on Loki's shoulder, and she leant down and kissed his forehead. Loki opened his eyes the see Frigga standing before him.
"I can see that you have met your betrothed,"

Hello my little Jelly beans let me introduce myself, I'm LokiPie. Yep I know, this bit of the story seems a bit cliché but it's needed and for those darlings that are slightly unsure this is not going to be a Loki/Tony friendship/a bit of romance then Loki/OC romance, It is most definitely Frostiron goodness…wow for the first time I have an OC I don't practically like OC's there always either too overpowered, complete Mary Sue's or just plain annoying haha! :) Okay so Tony has a helmet to make and Loki is betrothed to someone…who would have thought, Well laters chipmunks…wait no hold up just one second, I need to ask you a question; have you reviewed this story?
