"Look, I'm really happy for you and all, but Lucy..."

"What? Are you serious? All this trying and he's actually asking me to spend time with him and you're saying 'but Lucy'!? This could even help make us popular!"

Levy gave a strained sigh and nibbled on bottom lip. "I know you really want this, I'm really happy for you and all, and I feel really mean for saying this but...you're not exactly very fit..." Before Lucy could open her mouth to yell at Levy for her offending words, Levy continued. "I know you're skinny and all, but you can barely run three meters without starting to puff, and with the body Natsu has, I'm pretty sure he runs more than three meters."

"...Well I guess you're kind of right about that, but I already said yes! How am I meant to tell him no?"

Levy sighed again, "Well you could maybe just jog with him tomorrow to see how it goes, and if you're still able to walk by the time it's finished, then you could probably keep doing it with him."

Lucy sighed. "I guess that's a pretty good idea.

"Good luck."

.:Next Day:.

It was the day.

That day.

It was the day after yesterday.

It was a Thursday.

Lucy was going jogging today.

"I can't do this." The blonde stammered, shaking her head as the two walked to school.

Levy rolled her eyes and elbowed Lucy harder than needed on her forearm. "Yes you can. It's just jogging, not cross-country."

"Maybe his 'jogging' is like a cross-country!"

"Don't be stup-" Levy abruptly closed her mouth and furrowed her eyebrows. "Actually, you could be right."

"Levy!"

"What!?"

"You're not meant to agree!"

"Why not!?"

"You're just not supposed to! God!"

Levy huffed and crossed her arms over her chest. "Oh, sorry, I didn't know there were things I couldn't agree to."

"Apology accepted."

"You're a fucking idiot." She mumbled, though Lucy knew that it was only a joke.

.:Later:.

Lucy walked down the hallway, maneuvering her way through busy teens, making not to cause a scene by accidentally bumping into one of them. A few steps ahead of her she could hear the chatter of the God's and a Goddess and she wondered briefly if they were in the midst of ditching the current lesson.

"Oi, Lucy!" Natsu called out and caught her upper arm before she could pass the group. She looked up at the boy with wide eyes and a dropped mouth. Honestly, they could be best friends for years and she'd still get all excited and shocked every time he spoke to her.

"I'm doing something with Gray and Gajeel at five, so could we change the time to four?"

"O-oh, yeah, sure, that's fine." Just 'yeah' would have been fine Lucy, no need to add two different ways of saying it.

"Great!" He beamed and released his hold with a wide grin, successfully leaving her speechless. Before she could do another stupid thing, she quickly rushed away, her cheeks glowing a bright pink.

"What are you doing with her at four?" She could barely hear the snarl in Lisanna's voice as she was lost in her own fantasies.

.:After School:.

"Don't get pregnant."

"Dad, it's only a jog."

"Still, I don't want you to end up on one of those 'Sixteen and pregnant' shows."

"I'm not even sixteen."

Her father looked up at her in disbelief. "You aren't?"

Lucy's mouth fell open at his words and she looked at her father in shock. "No! I was sixteen last year!"

"Oh, well I was close."

"Dad-"

"And what do you think you're doing wearing clothes like that?"

She looked down at her clothes and then back up with a raised eyebrow. "Everyone wears this when jogging or exercising. It's not that revealing, hardly anything compared to what I wear when I go swimming."

"Still- wait, what do you wear when you go swimming!?"

A knock interrupted the fathers and daughters quarreling and Lucy's heart instantly began to speed up at a rapid pace.

.:10 Minutes Later:.

Lucy didn't like this.

She liked it better when her heart was beating rapidly because of Natsu, not because she was close to death.

Natsu peered behind his shoulder to look back at the blonde with an amused smile. "You okay back there?"

"Psh, yeah, I'm fine." She snorted, her voice rasp.

"Awesome!" Natsu nodded, completely oblivious to the wreck behind him. "To be honest, I was kind of nervous about this."

"You? Nervous? Why?!" Lucy exclaimed.

The boy shrugged. "I don't know, I just was." He said with a small laugh. "Hey, do you wanna take a break for a bit?"

"Yes! I mean, yeah, sure, whatever." She mentally scolded herself for repeating the same word in different variations.

As soon as the pinkette came to a halt, Lucy toppled over with shaking shoulders and deep breaths. This must be what child-birth feels like.

"You okay?"

She straightened up and put her hands on her hips. "Yeah, I'm fine." She answered, her voice sounding higher than usual.

He laughed again and pointed behind her. "There's a drinking fountain over there if you're thirsty."

Lucy glanced behind her shoulder like he had done earlier and breathed out a sigh of relief. "Thanks." She said and began to walk off.

Natsu smirked and pulled his phone out of his pocket, deciding to answer the cause of the vibration that had happened earlier, when Lucy and himself had just started their jogging. As soon as it was in his hands, it began to vibrate violently again and Natsu quickly answered the call. "What's up Lis?"

"Oh nothing, just seeing how everything's going."

"Everything's going great, Lucy's pretty good company."

It took longer than usual for her to reply after he had spoken. "That's good I guess. Hope everything's going well. You should come to mine after you're done?"

Natsu clicked his tongue. "I can't; I'm going to Gray's remember?"

"Oh yeah, sorry, I completely forgot!"

Off in the distance, a high-pitched scream shook the forest and Natsu looked ahead of himself, his eyes suddenly growing wide. "Fuck."

"Natsu?"

"Uh, Lis, I've gotta go."

"What? Natsu? What's going on-"

He ended the call and hastily stuffed it in his pocket before running after the blonde. "Lucy!" He hollered and made his way down the hill as fast as he could without falling down himself. "Shit! Are you okay!?"

"Yeah, it's just tears of pain, no big deal." Lucy pointed out and, with quivering hands, she began to brush the dirt from her skin and clothes.

"I don't really think that's a good thing..." He laughed nervously and knelt beside her. "What happened?"

She stopped and looked at him with glossy eyes.. "I-I-I don't know," she whimpered, "I was walking back and I stood on a twig, but I guess it wasn't a twig because it hissed and moved, so I jumped back and tripped then fell down this huge hill. I didn't even know we were on a hill!"

Natsu glanced up at the hill that they had just been on and his lips quirked up. "We spent basically ten minutes running up it, how could you not notice?"

She looked up at him with disbelief clouding her eyes. "So we spent ten minutes running up a hill, only for me to fall down in a few seconds?"

Natsu grinned. "Yeah, I guess so." Looking down at her ankle, he let out a hiss of sympathy. "You're ankle looks pretty bad, might've sprained it."

She looked down at her leg and frowned. "Oh no." She whined and attempted to keep in her cries; she never was very good when it came to pain.

"Oh well, I guess I'll have to carry you." He said and turned around. "Hop on my back."

"I don't really think that's necessary"

"Lucy, you won't be able to walk. Juvia got a sprained ankle once and she practically forced Gray to give her a piggy back because she couldn't walk, so get on."

The blonde tightened her lips then timidly wrapped her arms around his neck, her thoughts begging to run wild.

.:Later, Again:.

Jude looked at his daughter in pity as she hobbled up the staircase. "Are you sure you're okay to walk?"

"I'm fine." She rolled her eyes and waved him off.

I'm kinda running out of songs, so if anyone has any suggestions, that would be fantastic!
