'Stay cool, collective and calm. Keep running, think healthy, think exercisy. Oh boy, Natsu looks so hot, with the muscles and his face and I swear I will jump him one day.'

"You okay Lucy?" Natsu asked and glanced back at the blonde.

"H-huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine." She answered, rather upset that her fantasy had been interrupted. Though the one responsible for the crime was Natsu, so she'll let it slide.

"You know, I was wondering," He paused and furrowed his brows, debating on whether or not to reveal his question.

"Wondering what?" Lucy questioned, hoping it didn't sound as if she were nagging him.

"Well Gajeel's parents are going out for the weekend, so he's going to throw a party or whatever. Do you and your friend want to come?"

Lucy struggled to keep her composure at the boy's words. Did he really just say that?

"Did you really just say that?" She wondered aloud, the words spilling out of her mouth before she could stop them.

The pinkette came to a halt, a look of absolute rejection coating him. "Why? Don't you wanna go?"

Lucy shook her head frantically. "No, no! It's just- no one has ever really asked me something like that."

Natsu gazed at her solemnly, all of a sudden feeling sad for her. Quickly, he replaced the depressed look with a typical grin and slung an arm around her shoulders, the bronze of his arm and the paleness of her shoulders contrasting wildly. "Now you can say someone has!"

Lucy flushed uncontrollably. "Y-yeah, I guess you're right."

"So you wanna go?"

She bit her lip thoughtfully before beaming up at him with a smile to rival that of a Goddess. "Yeah!"

"Awesome! It's Saturday, around eight. I can come round and pick you two up if you'd like? I doubt either of you know where Gajeel lives." He offered and began running again, Lucy having to suppress a groan that yearned to be released as she began running alongside him.

"Uh, yeah, thank you," she babbled before adding in, "are you sure Gajeel wouldn't mind? I don't really think he likes us very much."

Natsu craned his neck to look at her with a bemused expression. "What are you talking about!? He loves you guys!"

Lucy raised an eyebrow. "Really?"

"Well I wouldn't say love, but he has nothing against you two. He's always talking about you guys, especially your friend, Levy!"

"Really?"

"Oh yeah! Although most of it isn't really nice or anything, but I'm pretty sure he likes her, not that he would admit it though."

"Oh you have got to be kidding me!"

"I'm serious!" He argued, only to laugh moments later, Lucy quickly joining in with small giggles. "You know what, Luce?"

"What?"

"I noticed something. You don't really stutter around me anymore."

Lucy had almost toppled over as his words sunk in. She hadn't notice it happen, but it did. She had only been jogging with him for two days now, but amidst the panting and running, she had gotten more comfortable being around him.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." She agreed, not a single stutter or stammer in sight.

.:Later:.

After a small and brief argue with her farther, he reluctantly allowed her to go to the party. So now, Levy and herself stood in the blonde's bedroom, worrying about clothes and makeup like normal teenage girls would. Lucy herself was dressed in faux leather, high rise shorts and an off shoulder, white crop top that bared just the right amount of cleavage and stomach. Thigh high black socks stretched along her legs and dark heels blended into the colour of her socks with the same shade of black. Levy, unlike her friend, dressed in a brighter colour. The sleeveless dress she wore was a bold blue, featured with a cut-out waist, and slightly on the back, with a deep V-neckline. Along with the dress she wore ankle high, lace up booties, graced with a thick heal on each one.

"Hey Lucy."

"Yeah?" The girl in question said, looking up at the girl whose hair somehow matched her dress.

"I'm really proud of you."

"Y-you are?"

"Yeah! I mean, we're going to a party, or whatever, because of you!"

Lucy thought about her words then grew a smug grin. "Yeah, you're right. I'm pretty damn awesome."

Levy laughed and nodded. "Wonder what we'll end up doing there. Probably get drunk or something."

Lucy's cockiness suddenly dropped and she began to stammer. "W-what? We-we'll be dr-drinking? I can't c-come home drunk! My dad will k-kill me!"

"Then you can come over mine for the night."

"Then your mum will kill you!"

Levy stopped, then puffed out her cheeks. "Damn, you're right."

"Oh God! WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO!?"

"STOP FREAKING OUT! Just tell your dad you're staying at mine for the night and we'll figure something out while we're there."

"Seriously?"

"Yes! Just do it!"

"Lucy! Your friend's here!"

The two friends froze at Jude's voice. "Are we ready for this?" Lucy asked, clearly stressed. "Like I mean, this is a party party, there's gonna be sex, and kissing, and drinking and are we ready for this?"

"I…I think so?"

"You think!?"

"Yes I think! Stop yelling!"

Lucy grumbled and turned around. "C'mon, we gotta go." As they walked down the stairs, Lucy knew her father would be regretting his decision and, before he could speak his mind, she called out, "I'll be fine, dad! I have my phone if anything goes wrong anyway! And I'm staying at Levy's for the night, so don't worry about me coming late or anything! Bye!" They hurried past the older man, and shut the door, still being able to hear his grumbles.

"Wow, you two look good."

Looking up, she blushed at the sight of Natsu, a dark crimson painting her cheeks. "Haah, th-thanks." She said, smiling ridiculously.

He turned and began walking towards a car and Lucy couldn't help but admire the way his butt looked in jeans. "Gray's driving and I called dibs on the passenger seat, so you'll both have to sit in the back." He warned, though the two friends couldn't see anything bad about the seating arrangements.

"That's fine." Levy shrugged, seeing how Lucy couldn't seem to muster any words from her mouth.

.:Later:.

Somewhere along the way, Lucy couldn't find Levy.

Somewhere along the way, Lucy got drunk.

Somewhere along the way, Lucy was dragged into a game of spin the bottle.

Somewhere along the way, Lucy found out she was a flirt.

She hadn't really had a choice in joining in the game, because when some girl had asked her if she was single, and when Lucy had said yes, she dragged the blonde towards the smallish group. So now, she was sucking faces with some other blonde that before, was playing the game for desperate singles as well. The two had drifted away from the game a while ago though, the boy speaking his mind and saying how they should 'go play their own game', and in her drunken mess, she thought that sounded like a brilliant idea. They stood outside, where it was less crowded. Her back was pressed against the gruff surface of a tree and his hand slowly began to sneak beneath her shirt. They were in a darker corner of the yard where the only light was from the reflection of the pool, away from the other drunken teenagers that felt the need to shout their every opinion.

"Sting is that you? Yukino's looking for you." Lisanna came up to the two, but gasped when she saw what the blondes were currently doing. Sting turned sharply at her voice and cursed softly. "W-what are you doing!? And with Lucy!?" She stammered, however when her eyes landed on the red lip stick stains than ran across his neck, her eyebrows narrowed dangerously and she took off towards the heart of the party.

Sting, in a desperate attempt to stop her, reached out to grab her wrist. Only seconds after their skin had touched, Lisanna turned and back handed him, leaving an angry mark across his cheek. "Don't touch me." She hissed, and then continued to walk.

"Shit," Sting sneered and rubbed his jaw with the palm of his hand. Lucy stood dumbfounded, still against the tree but with no clue on what was happening.

"Who… Who's Yukino?" She asked, her voice timid and small.

"She," Sting groaned and ran his fingers through his hair, "She's my girlfriend." He admitted before making his way towards where Lisanna had gone.

Lucy's mouth dropped open in astonishment. If she were sober, she would probably cry. Her dreams of a first kiss had always been with Natsu, but in the end, it was with a complete stranger that already had a girlfriend. Lucy pinched the bridge of her nose and closed her eyes in frustration. "Shit," She grimaced.

Lucy followed where they had gone. She wanted to apologize to Yukino because, most likely, there'd be two more fish in the sea. Even though it wasn't her own fault, she felt like it was. She just felt like everything was her fault. She briefly wondered, what was everything?

"Lisanna, you're overreacting." Natsu groaned, frustration evident in his voice.

"No, actually, I'm not. I mean, for all I know, she could be doing what she did with Sting with you instead every afternoon."

Natsu's eyes locked in on her. "Is that really how little faith you have in me?"

Lisanna's mouth opened and closed repeatedly, somehow making her look like a fish. She couldn't say no, because that would go against everything she had just said, and she couldn't say yes, because, well, that just end badly. So instead, she walked away, looking for the person she had been searching for in the first place.

Natsu watched her go with a stressful sigh. He turned to go, but stopped when he saw Lucy and sighed again. "How much did you hear?"

Lucy pursed her lips. "Well, not much really." She admitted and walked closer to her crush. "But I'm guessing everyone else heard a lot more." At her words, they both looked at the people around them who had been listening intently to the small fight between the couple, but as soon as Natsu looked, they quickly turned to act as if they weren't eavesdropping. For the third time that night, Natsu sighed.

Lucy couldn't help it and let out a series of giggles. Natsu glanced down at the laughing girl, his lips quirking up in amusement. "What?"

"Sorry," her body wracked with laughter, "I was trying to make you happier, but I don't really think I did a good job at it. I don't even know why I'm laughing."

Natsu burst out in laughter at her words. "You're such a weirdo sometimes." He pointed out. The two soon stopped laughing and they were enveloped in silence, a stupid smile still stretched on Lucy's mouth. "Did you come around here for something?"

Her eyes suddenly lit up in realisation. "I…" She began, though her words shortly died out. She shrugged, "I can't remember."

Natsu nodded. "Hey, do you wanna-"

"Actually!" Lucy cut in with a giggle, "I think I was looking for Levy!" Technically she was, about an hour ago.

"Oh," Natsu chuckled slightly, "I think she went up into one of the rooms up there." He pointed upstairs.

"Thank you!" Lucy squealed and hugged him, overly thankful. Natsu was taken aback for a bit but hugged her back once he adjusted to the sudden affection. She laughed joyfully again when she made her way upstairs hurriedly and Natsu couldn't help but be impressed that she managed to avoid bumping into any drunk, swaying bodies.

The first room definitely didn't have Levy in it, because it was inhabited by two very angry people that, before she opened the door, had their tongues tangled together and some clothes scattered on the floor. She apologized vigorously and closed the door so that they could continue their activities then went to the next room.

"Oh my God, Levy!?" She screeched, seeing two bodies tangled together. She was originally going to pass it off as just another two people hooking up, until she saw the bright blue mop of hair.

Levy yelled something back that Lucy couldn't quite understand. In the time of utter confusion, she slammed the door shut and backed up, her hand covering her open mouth. Her friend quickly came out, the dress gone and replaced with a shirt that had never belonged to her. "What are you doing!?" Levy hissed, glaring at Lucy accusingly.

"What am I doing?! What are you doing!? And with who!?" Lucy exclaimed. "I have been looking for you, because for some reason I couldn't find you, and the whole time you've been fucking someone!?" She paused, then her eyes widened. "Oh God, it's Gajeel isn't it?"

"So what if it is?" Levy hissed. "Stop being such a prude, Lucy."

"Well I'd rather be a prude than a slut." Lucy wouldn't have said such a thing if she were sober. She wouldn't have made out with someone that had a girlfriend if she were sober. She wouldn't have done a lot of stupid things if she were sober.

"Then that's why you're going to stay a nobody all through school, because you'll never get a boyfriend if you can't do so much as kiss them, because you can't do anything for yourself, because you over react everything, and because you're so fucking annoying sometimes." Lucy's mouth stayed shut. It didn't open and close like Lisanna's had, but maybe that was because she was too stunned to move. This was a serious fight, not a friendly one. They've never had a serious fight before.

Levy groaned in frustration and ran her fingers through her hair. The small gesture made Lucy remember the real reason she had come inside, and it definitely wasn't to look for Levy. "I…I gotta go." She murmured and hastily made her way back downstairs.

If she had known what Yukino looked like, she would have looked for her, but she didn't know what she looked like, so she didn't bother looking. Instead, she went outside for a breath of fresh air, something to cool her pounding head, but the blaring music did little to help.

She hadn't noticed, but someone came close to her, close enough to roughly shove her into the pool and, before she could realize what happened, she was submerged in water. She came up to the surface for a gasp of air. At the sight of short, silver hair, she wondered if it was Lisanna that pushed her, but when the culprit glanced back at her with light brown eyes, she knew that it definitely wasn't the Goddess that had committed the dirty deed.

She felt like crying. Not because her clothes were wet, but seeing how her shirt was white and thin and her bra was a much darker colour, coming out of the water would be hella embarrassing. But because of everything that happened this night, it wasn't exactly the worst thing to happen, but it overwhelmed Lucy and she wasn't sure if she could handle it, and she wasn't sure if she could handle the stares she was getting now, that she was currently the centre of most people's attention.

Loke could see it. He could see the way her bottom lip quivered, the way her eyes glistened with water that wasn't from the pool, and the way she avoided everyone's gaze. He glanced to his side where Jellal stood with Erza, the two looking at the scene but doing nothing. Acting on pure instinct, he stripped off his shirt and jumped into the pool, screaming "Pool party!" at the top of his lungs. Soon enough, after seeing a fellow God do it, people laughed and squealed as they themselves jumped into the cold water.

Loke swam closer to the blonde and put a hand on her shoulder. "You okay?" He asked, eyebrows knotted together in worry.

Lucy looked at him then laughed. "Yeah, peachy."

Loke chuckled at her response then smiled warmly at her. "Do you wanna get out of here?" He saw Lucy give him a look and he quickly tried to fix his words. "I mean, it's getting crowded in here and I only live a few streets down. Unless you're already going somewhere with someone else that is."

"Let's get out of here." She agreed, smiling adorably.
