Chapter 13- ThE sChOoL sLuT

{Stop, don't say that it's impossible

'Cause I know it's possible

Though I know you never look my way

I can say; you will one day

I can say you will one day}

About three hours have passed since Lucy's breakdown, and during that time Levy and Lucy both got parental permission for Lucy to stay the night, Lucy brought her dog back home and Gajeel had left the premises.

"No but you're dating a God!"

"You're just over reacting, Lucy."

Lucy scoffed. "No, seriously Levy. You're dating one of the God's at Fairy Tail!"

"Huh, I guess I am. Wow." Levy rolled onto her stomach and spread her arms over her bed and thought more about this sudden achievement.

"Okay, hold up! How come after like one night, you're dating Gajeel, while I've been trying to get with Natsu for years and he's only now started to notice!? That's some serious bullshit!" Lucy exclaimed suddenly, her eyebrows narrowing together and her mouth pulled into a tight frown.

Levy shrugged. "Maybe Natsu isn't really attracted to stalkers." After a fierce glare from Lucy, Levy huffed and apologized. "Sorry, but think of it this way; maybe because I'm with Gajeel, I'll hang out with him at school, which would of course include you, and then you could probably get even closer to Natsu."

"Oh well I guess that's true. But what if Loke tells Natsu?" Lucy groaned and started punching the bed in anger. "This is no fair! God damn it!"

"Stop throwing a tantrum and leave my bed alone."

"But Levy! What if when we go to school tomorrow, everyone'll laugh because they know!?"

"Then you're going to get laughed at."

Lucy gaped, "That wasn't very supportive…"

Levy sighed, "Sorry, but all we can do is wait for tomorrow. Maybe Loke's nice and won't tell anyone? If he does you can also deny it you know."

.:Later:.

"I can't handle this!"

"Can't handle what? Calm down Lucy." Levy rolled her eyes and the two continued to walk through the school hallways.

"Oh my God, are you that blind? They're all obviously talking about me!" Lucy drew in closer to Levy, her mouth close to the bluenettes ear. "They know."

Levy glanced around to see the supposed gossipers, but whenever her eyes came close to meeting another's, they would look away. "Actually, I think they're talking about me."

Lucy scoffed. "Really? Did you call another guy gay again?" She sighed and shook her head. "Levy, it's 2016, you have to stop saying things like that. It's pretty homophobic."

"What!? No! I haven't insulted anyone!"

"Aye! Shrimp!"

The two girls turned around to see a scary looking guy with silver plastering his face stalking towards them. In other words, Gajeel was here.

Lucy groaned and rolled her eyes, jealous that Levy had a guy greeting her in the mornings.

Once he was close to them, he nodded in Lucy's direction. "Hi Bunny Girl." He greeting, ignoring Lucy's protests about the nickname. He slung and arm around Levy's shoulder and began walking her down a hall. "Bye Bunny Girl."

Lucy stood, by herself, confused that Levy was no longer by her side.

"Did you just get ditched?" A voice asked from behind her and she briefly wondered if the person was talking to her.

Turning around, she saw bright pink. Her heart in her throat because Natsu freaking Dragneel is greeting her in the freaking morning. She scoffed and tried to act cool, and not like she just got ditched. "Psh, hah, no." Her words came out in unconfident slurs and Natsu raised an eyebrow much more confidently than she ever could.

"Oh really?"

Lucy folds her arms in front of her chest. "Yes really."

He smiled at her like he's trying to stop himself from laughing. He obviously found this very amusing. "So since you totally didn't get ditched, do you wanna hang out until the bell rings?" He offered, his words making Lucy feel as if she would faint.

She's sure that she's blushing, because she always does when he's around, and this was certainly not helping. "W-wouldn't Lisanna be, like, mad or something? Shouldn't you be with her?"

He shrugs. "She comes late to school on Mondays." An 'oh' stumbles out of Lucy mouth, but that's all she manages to get out. He nudges her expectantly when she doesn't answer.

Her mouth opens and closes a few more times before she finally nods. "Y-yeah. Okay. Sure."

They begin walking down the hallway, getting stares from almost everyone.

"So, I heard that you slept with someone's boyfriend." He suddenly blurts out, the accusation making Lucy stumble in her steps.

"W-what!? Where did you hear that!?" She shrieks, suddenly feeling very self-conscious.

He points at her accusingly, ignoring her question. "So it's true!"

"No! No it's not!" She assured but soon after looked at the ground. "Well, kinda."

"What do you mean 'kinda'?" Natsu asked and eyed her warily.

"I mean I was like really drunk, and I think I was kinda taken advantage of, but somehow I was kissing this guy who I thought was single but it turns out he wasn't because he had a really angry girlfriend who was really angry."

"Wow, sounds like it was a hell of a night."

"It was! Now she's probably plotting against me." She huffed and folded her arms over her chest.

Natsu stood in front of her and struck a superman pose. "Don't worry; I protect you from any plotting!"

"Thank you." She smiled and dropped her arms by her sides. "But…doesn't this all kinda make me a slut?"

The pinkette in front of her shook his head side to side roughly. "Nope! It was only a kiss, and you didn't even know he had a girlfriend. That's probably not what the girlfriend thinks though…"

Lucy groaned and sat down a chair that was conveniently placed beside them. "I didn't even want it to happen!" She complains and grips the bridge of her nose. "Now I can't even remember how my first kiss went."

Natsu gaped at her, before cracking up laughing. "That was your first kiss?"

Lucy narrows her eyes at him and tries to ignore the voice in the back of her mind that's saying how god damn cute he looks when he laughs. "It's rude to laugh at someone else's misery, you know."

He nodded and sat beside her, still trying to control his laughter. "Sorry, sorry. But that sucks. Hey, at least if he was a bad kisser you wouldn't remember, right?" He tries to comfort her jokingly by rubbing her back sympathetically.

"Moving onto someone else's boyfriend are we Lucy?" Gray says, suddenly right beside them.

"I'm not moving onto anyone!" She defended herself, then added, "And I didn't sleep with anyone either!"

"Apparently she was drunk and confused and she didn't know he was taken. Spread that around." Natsu explains for her.

"Spread around? How many people think I slept with someone's boyfriend?" She gawked, looking at the two with wide eyes.

"Uhh, most of the school." Gray said and then looked towards a group of girls huddled together, looking at Lucy every now and then. "They definitely know."

Lucy buried her head in the palms of her hands. "This is terrible."

Gray ruffles her blonde hair in a much better way of sympathy than Natsu had. "Don't worry about it; it'll all pass over soon." The bell rings and Gray begins to walk again, waving his hand for a goodbye.

Natsu stands and looks down at her. "Well I have math first, what do you have?"

She felt a stab in her heart at the question. "Natsu, we're in the same math class."

"We are?" He asks, confusion written all over his face. Realization dawns on him and he suddenly gets happier. "We are! Come on, let's walk together."

"I can't believe you forgot we're in the same class." She grumbles angrily, refusing to look at him and his beautiful body and face and everything.

"And I can't believe you kissed someone's boyfriend." He shoots back cockily.

"Oh my God you're never going to let me live that down are you?"

Natsu hums to himself then shakes his head when he comes to a conclusion, a grin plastered onto his face. "Nope, never."
