The next morning tiger was in his and po's room tossing and turning in his bed, he was having a nightmare as well, the next thing he knew, he wakes up startled and scared.
"WOAH" tiger said in a scared tone, shaking up, and even panting, he takes his paw and face palms himself, he was about to say it was just a nightmare but po was already awake because of tiger's panicking moment.
"Tiger, are you okay ? what happened ? Bandit tried to kill you or something ?" po said worried about his friend as he sat up in his bed.
"Dude, I just had the strangest dream ever." Tiger said worriedly, but he didn't say it right, confused, po asked what it could be.
"You killed me because I ate all of your bean buns ?" po asked confusingly, but with a dash of nervousness, tiger shook his head trying to focus on what he's trying to say, as soon as he calmed himself down enough, he stood up stretching him arms and legs and scratches his neck.
"No, sorry man, I just had a nightmare," tiger said with a little bit of shame as he rubbed his eyes. Po stood up from his bed and walked over to tiger placing a paw on his shoulder.
"tiger, it's okay, you know were friends and we're all here for you, we all have nightmares but sometimes we they'll fade away, any way what did you dream about ?" po said calming his friend down and taking his paw off his shoulder, tiger walked back and forth and then he finally told his nightmare.
"well, I was fighting tai lung and I ended up on the ground all battered up, then the next thing I knew, I was unable to move and to my horror, tai lung killed you and my sister when you two tried to come to my rescue, then I spoke out, oh no I should've listened to tigress, what have I done ?, then I went black and I'm up. (Sigh) I guess maybe that won't happen when I face him." Tiger said rubbing his head then his eyes suddenly grew wide.
"Unless it was a vision" tiger said with a bit of fear. Po nodded feeling what tiger could witness during the battle.
"You're right, we have to trick tigress, sneak out and train at a good spot today, she won't even know." Po said growing a small smirk tiger nodded in agreement, by then the morning gong went off and all of the master were awake, they exit their rooms to be greeted by shifu in the hall.
"Good morning master." Po, tiger and the five said, shifu started walking down the hallway passing each of his students.
"Students, I just want you to know that training will be later in the day so go eat your break and be ready by then." Shifu said as he turned and walked out as po, tiger and the five bows to his rule and promise.
"Well, let's eat." Po said as he went into the kitchen to make breakfast for his friends, tiger and the five followed po into the kitchen then sat at the table.
"So what are we eating for breakfast po ?" Monkey asked mantis was about to agree but po responded the second monkey asked.
"Good question monkey, I'm making breakfast bean buns and bean cakes." Po said making tiger and the five smile.
"Wow man, you come up with great ideas for breakfast sometimes." Tiger said, also to have mantis agree. "I know right?" Mantis said agreeing. So as po makes breakfast, tigress decided to talk to his brother about fighting tai lung.
"Uh tiger, we need to talk." Tigress said, tiger frowned and shook his head, he knew what tigress was gonna mention that she still wants him to stay out of the battle with tai lung, he puts his paw out in front of her motioning her to zip it.
"Please sis, no need to talk, you're gonna say that I really think I can't fight tai lung because i'm weak, a wimp and joke to kung fu." Tiger said growing mad, before it could get worse, mantis interfered to prevent a fight.
"Yo Guys, please calm down, we don't want to have a brawl or a mess right here in the kitchen." Mantis said with a slight frown, little did they know, po was listening and watching too.
"Yeah guys, let's just sit down and eat and try to deal whatever it is later." Po said, just then tigress walked over to him to complain.
"But po it's-" Tigress said in complain but po cuts her off, "Tigress please, we don't want to hear and outburst." Po said in the same tone as tigress just a few seconds ago complaining, she sighed in frustration and sat down.
"I'll get you !" Tiger whispered in anger at tigress, she gave a glare as a response, just then there was a knock on the door.
"I'll get it." Tiger said calming down after a little bicker a second ago after he walked out the door, po decided to reason with tigress a little bit.
"Ti, you really should give tiger a chance, it's tai lung's fault not his." Po said then tigress sat up and complained again.
"Po I'm trying to protect you two, not hold you both back, since the shen incident i revealed what my feelings are and what losing friends and family is like, besides it's not like it'll come sooner." Tigress said, by the time she finished, she saw her brother walking back n reading a scroll, he was reading it in a whisper until they heard him say "Oh My God !" tiger said in what looked like panic, po ran over to him.
"What's wrong buddy ?" Po asked worriedly, the five were even worried of what they were gonna hear and they were also curious on why tiger was in shock about something.
"This message is from tai lung, he shorten the wait, he says to meet him at the canyon for battle in 2 days !" Tigress said in panic, even po and the five gasped in shock, they run over to tiger and he hands them the note.
Attention
I have been training hard and I'll be ready in 2 days for the fight with that puny tiger, this time if I finish him then you all will be next on my list, then I'll finally have the secrets to kung fu and the power of the great dragon warrior.
"Oh no, tiger we have start training your behind off today. Let's go" Po said, as he and tiger were about to run out, they were again stopped by tigress.
"Po, how many times do I have to say no ?" Tigress said with anger and worry "even in 2 days my brother won't be strong enough, please just keep him out of this," Tigress begged. Po and tiger looked at each other for a brief moment, they then slightly evilly smirk and they blink eyes then they had a plan but had to keep it a secret, tiger sighed in what looked like stress.
"Yeah, maybe you're right sis, maybe I'm just imagining the whole thing, let me just take a walk and try to clear my head." Tiger said but secretly lied, he walked out the door with a paw on his face.
"Po please go with him, if he starts to think this is real again please control him, and tell him that if this is real, I'm proud of him for backing out." Tigress said with a smile, po smiled back and he was saying a lie at this point but made it sound real.
"Yeah okay I'll follow him just to help him out.. With this.. Clearing head thing." Po said as he chuckled and ran out. po and tiger exited the barracks and giggled but not loud enough for them to hear them.
"She bought it did she ?" Tiger asked in whispered giggle, po too was giggling that she and the five fell for them.
"Yes she did heh heh, but they might see us walking down the stairs so just stay quiet till we get to the bottom." Po said whispering, then they walked down the stairs without saying a word.
"Po, I'm so ready for this." Tiger whispered, po smiled and nodded in agreement.
"I know, and I know a perfect spot for you to start training." Po said making tiger excited but not too excited to make him lose focus or not say a word out loud but excited to make him smile and nodded motion for him to say he's ready for just about day 1.
Back in the kitchen, tigress was cooking for po since he walked out with tiger, the five were at the table talking about just recently.
"But what if they lied ?" Mantis asked some of the five like monkey and mantis but crane viper and tigress was opposite of them
"They said it very clear, I mean even if they did lie it was brave of them to do it so tiger could grow strong." Viper said saying what would happen even if they told the truth or lied, after that brief moment tigress spun around looking at them with a glare
"Don't say that viper, okay ? He said he was backing out so just bare with it, tiger and po made it clear !" Tigress said with a bit of anger as she turned back to finish breakfast.
"Okay, we'll just be quiet" Crane said as he and the five sat down patiently at the table worrying about po and tiger, tigress to was worried but she doesn't know that the lied yet.
