I was with Potsie. We were just hanging out.

"I can't believe your trip is almost over," Potsie said.

"So do I," I agreed.

That was when she heard something and went over to see. It was Mallory and Jessi talking.

"I'm curious on what they're saying," said Potsie.

She was looking over, but I wasn't. I tried to stop her. She didn't had a clue that Mary Anne was behind us, who knew what was happening.

"Excuse me. You know spying on people is bad," said my sister.

Then, Potsie found out what Mallory was talking to Jessi about Richie. When she asked the girls about Richie, they refused to tell her.

"We can't tell you," said Mallory.

"Why not?" asked Potsie.

"We promised not to tell," replied Jessi.

"Yeah, we could lose trust if we broke our promise," said Mallory.

"I told Potsie not to spy on you and Jessi," said Mary Anne.

"I was trying to stop her, too," I said.

Mallory went to Postie. "It's none of your business about what's going on, Potsie."

"Exactly," agreed Jessi.

They walked away. Richie probably found out because he said Mary Anne had every right to stop Potsie from spying.

"When the girls asked me, I had to tell them about it, I didn't want to lie," said Mary Anne.

"I'm glad you did something right," said Richie.

"I know," said Mary Anne. "I didn't want Potsie to cause any trouble."

"I agree with you," said Richie.

That night, Potsie was the one who told me about it. Apparently, Mallory knew that Potsie spied on her because Mallory was embarrassed when she blurted out to everyone while we were eating dinner.

"How did you find out?" asked Richie.

Mary Anne and I just stared at Potsie when we knew that it was her.

"How could you do that to me?" asked Mallory.

"Yeah, why would you think we didn't want to tell you? Do you want us to betray Richie's trust?" asked Jessi.

"That could happen at anytime," said Mallory.

"That's not your fault," said Richie.

Mary Anne shook her head at Potsie saying told her so.

"Would you like it if someone did that to you?" asked Stacey.

Later, he had a talk with Postie.

"I didn't mean that for it to happen, it was an accident," said Potsie.

"That's why you don't spy on anyone. Mary Anne was right to stop you," said Richie. "Spying can lead you into trouble. You should promise you would never do that again."

"Okay, I promise," said Potsie.
