Chapter 16- Reality Check!
Natsu smiled in his sleep and hugged his oversized pillow tighter, but there was one little problem...he doesn't have an oversized pillow...
Although they do look awfully comfy. He should get one sometime.
Curious to what he was really hugging, he slowly opened one eye and prayed to the love of God that Gray hadn't someone gotten into his bed.
When he saw who it really was, both eyes shot open and he was instantly wide awake, how could he have forgotten about her? But that wasn't important right now, what was important was what he should do.
'WHY IS SHE CUDDLING ME!? DO ALL GIRLS DO THAT!? AND WHY AM I HUGGING HER!? MY BRAIN CAN'T HANDLE THIS!' Natsu screamed on the inside.
'Maybe I should wake her...but then she might kill me for being a pervert...WHAT DO I DO! SOMEONE! HELP ME!'
"Natsu..." Lucy mumbled in her sleep. "Annoying..."
'ANNOYING!? AFTER EVERYTHING I'VE DONE FOR HER!?' He took a deep breath, 'Focus Natsu! Focus!..WHY AM I TALKING TO MYSELF!?' He shook his head before looking down to Lucy again.
Don't you worry, don't you worry child.
See heavens got a place for you'
Natsu jumped in place as the blondes, rather loud, ringtone began.
'THIS IS BAD NATSU! WE'VE GOT TO DO SOMETHING!' A voice from the depths of his minds shouted.
'BUT WHAT- Wait.. WHO AM I TALKING TO!?'
Don't you worry, Don't you worry child-
Lucy made a slight noise in her sleep and began to stir.
Looking to where the endless chorus was coming from, Natsu yanked the mobile from the table and declined the call. "…Why didn't I just do that at the beginning?" he groaned in annoyance. Natsu leaned over to the side to put the phone back on the bed-side table, but leaned too far and tumbled of the bed with an obvious thump.
Stretching her limbs, a cat-like sound escaped Lucy's mouth as she awoke from her slumber. "Mmm, Natsu?" She mumbled and propped herself onto her elbows, searching for the pinkette.
"Down here…" Said boy coughed out.
Lucy raised an eyebrow and looked down at Natsu. "What are you doing on the floor?"
Natsu laughed, "You know, just looking for dust bunnies."
Lucy sighed and shook her head, "I'm gonna go make you guys breakfast…" She said and stood then made her way to the hallway.
"W-wait!" Natsu said and jumped up, "You're walking perfectly fine! What happened to your sprained ankle?"
Lucy froze and pondered on the idea before shrugging. "I don't know, but it's better now." She said then walked away, leaving Natsu alone in his bedroom.
"B-but...How!?" He asked himself.
"Natsu...You should stop talking to your elf..."
Natsu sighed and nodded, "I know...".
His head snapped up at the realization that someone spoke to him. He frantically began to search around his room, looking for who was speaking, but found no one.
"Who are you looking for, Natsu?"
The boy froze before running out the room, screaming about the evil voices.
A laugh echoed through the room, coming from a pair of speakers hidden in the closet, while Gray sat in his room with a microphone in his hand.
"I knew I bought these things for a reason!" He laughed once again.
Next time, on one direction infection…
"Achoo" Lucy sneezed softly. "Thanks a lot Natsu! You gave me your cold" She sniffled.
"COME ON! YOU GET THAT WHILE MY SNEEZES WERE TRYING TO MURDER ME!"
"LOKE!" Lucy screamed and ran towards his almost unconscious figure. The orange-head held his head as tears began to form in the corners of his eyes because of the pain he was feeling.
"THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR BEING SMART!" Natsu began to laugh hysterically.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU THREW A COCUNUT AT HIM!" Lucy screamed.
"No! No! No! Don't do it! Tell me she won't do it!" Loke shouted as he looked at the computer screen.
"There's no way!" Gajeel snickered, but there was this little voice saying she would, and that terrified him.
"What are you guys looking at?" Natsu asked and walked over to the two.
"A viral video" Loke said and stepped aside so Natsu could see.
"What? I don't get it- Oh my" Natsu said before he fell back and fainted.
"ACK! NO WAY!" Loke screamed.
"SHE'S CRAZY!" Gajeel was absoloutly horrified.
"MY EYES!" Gray yelled and ran away with his eyes covered, causing him to do a flip over the couch in his blind state.
