A/N: A Parvill. Summary: Parv is feeling unloved by Will, so he decides to try and change that the only way he knows how. Magic.
"Will! Wiiilll! Oh Strifey poo~" Will had never quite gotten used to Parv's constant whining and calling of his name. Even so, he managed to keep his composure and continue working as he replied.
"What is it, Parvis?" He asked calmly, working diligently on the machine in front of him. A pair of arms wrapped around his waist, causing him to freeze for a few moments.
"What's that you're working on?" Parv's face was next to Will's, looking down at the machine he was previously working on. "It looks ok. But my magic is WAY better. Come on, you have to look." He didn't even wait for Will's answer, pulling at his arms to get him to move.
"Parvis, now isn't..."
"No! No, no, no!" Parv quickly cut Will off. "Look at what I've been doing." He tugged at Will's arm like an excited child would with their mother. "Pleeeeeeaaaaaaase!" He half whined. Will took deep breaths in and out to try and calm himself. This was the point in which Parv became actually annoying.
"Alex Parvis..."
"Wiiiiiiillllllllll!"
"That's enough!" Will forced Parv away, anger clear in his expression. "I've had enough of you. You always whine and call my name to get me to listen when I just want to be left alone. Is it so hard to just give me some moments of peace?" He asked, his voice strong and firm. Parv flinched, the ends of his fingertips trailing off of Will's clothes. "Let me work on my machines." With that, he turned away and continued his work. Parv stood, frozen, for a few moments. It's like an arrow had pierced his heart, his chest aching. He stumbled back out of the room before he ran. He didn't want Will to see him cry, even if he was facing away. It was against his promise. Parv didn't stop running until he was safe in his blood magic 'lair', as he called it. That is when he let his heart out. Tears streamed down his cheeks.
"Why won't you love me, Will? I just want you to be proud of me..." He trailed off as he glanced over at a pile of books, practically diving into them. He threw them carelessly around the room as he searched almost endlessly. "That's it." Parv muttered as he kept searching. "I'll make you proud of me. Just wait and see Strifey~"
Parv yawned, waking up in his bed the next morning. The night was pretty much a blur to him but Parv didn't bother thinking about it. He jumped out of his bed, running around to find his lover. He saw the familiar male working on his machines, as always.
"Oh Will~" He called, prancing over to him. Will glanced up, confusion spreading over his face. "How's my favourite person in the world feeling today?" Parv smiled goofily.
"...?" He said nothing, watching Parv with the same confused expression.
"What's wrong Will?" Parv asked, linking his arms around his body again. He snuggled close to his lover, looking expectantly up at him.
"...Who are you?" Parv was sure he had misheard him. "Do we...know each other?" No...Parv clutched his chest painfully, tears brimming in his eyes.
"W-What do you mean?! I'm Parvis! Parvy Parv Parvis! Stop j-joking around!" Although he tried his best to sound cheerful, Parv could tell Will wasn't joking.
"...I'm not. I don't know you." The bluntness hit even harder, smashing Parv's broken heart into pieces. He had to use all his willpower to stop himself from breaking down right then.
"W-What did I do wrong?" He asked, falling to his knees. "I did what I was supposed to...why d-don't you remember me?" He whispered, closing his eyes. "I just wanted you to be proud of me...to love me..." Parv went back through the night in his mind; well, what he could remember of then.
"Found it~" Parv cried happily as he flicked through the book. "This should be perfect. If I just use magic, I'll make Will like me. Then we can be happy together." He twirled once, sitting down with his legs crossed. He looked at what he needed; locating them somehow quickly in his messed up room. "This should be it, right?" Parv asked no one in particular. "Well..." He held a blood orb in his lap, watching the mixture in front of him. "All I need is his blood, right?" He looked at the dim orb, sitting it next to the mixture. "Will that work...?" Parv was beginning to doubt that it would work, but he had to try. He shuffled back, watching the chalk circle glow around the ingredients. Parv didn't notice the bookcase falling until it was too late. It crashed down on the other side of the room, sending things flying and smashing on the ground. Parv had quickly forgotten about his magic then.
"Parvis? What is that noise?" Will emerged at the entrance to Parv's room, seeing the mess he had created. "Seriously?" He asked, walking over to Parv, who had now gotten across the room to try and save his books and other items. He didn't take notice of the magic circle he had just walked across, nor the magic Parv had been performing. The male was only concerned about his friend. "What did you do this time?" Will asked, helping Parv to his feet.
"I-It was an accident." He replied quietly. Will rolled his eyes, patting Parv's head slightly.
"Alright. Come on. Let's go to sleep."
Parv let his head drop, staring blankly at the floor. He absently wiped the tears from his eyes with the back of his hand. 'Will's...gone.' He thought to himself. 'I...how could I do that...?' Parv shut his eyes tight, never wanting to open them. He tried to bring back the memory of Will's hands around his arms when he helped him up. Honestly even something so small made him happy. But now it was all gone. Everything. The moment they met, the time they spent together, the times they practically argued like an old married couple. Even though, to others, sometimes it may not seem it, the two worked incredibly well together; their different views didn't keep them apart. Parv cradled himself gentle, hiding his face behind his hands. He made sure Will couldn't see the tears. It was a promise to himself. No matter how much like a child he acted, whining and talking like one, he vowed to never cry in front of Will. The person he loved, he would never cry in front of him. Or, at least, not that he could see. He didn't want Will to see him like this, curling up as small as he could to hide himself further.
"Hey. Hey, get up." Parv felt a hand on his shoulder, almost instantly shrugging it off. That voice was his, but the person was not Will. Not now...not anymore. "Hey." The voice was less cold than before, sounding like the more caring Will he knew. The black-haired male could see his lover through the gaps around his body, seeing him face to face. "You know...I didn't expect you to cry. Didn't you promise not to cry in front of me?" He blinked, vision slightly blurred. Letting them focus, he saw a smile on Will's face.
"You...y-you..."
"Can't I ever play a joke on you, too?" Will asked quietly. Parv took a few moments to let it sink in before he hit Will roughly on his arm.
"Not something like that!" He whined, any anger he briefly held already gone. He wasn't one to keep his anger for long. Instead Parv just relaxed into Will's arms as they moved around his body, relief washing over him. "Jeez..." Parv muttered, faking annoyance. Will chuckled, a hand brushing Parv's hair gently out of his eyes.
"You know Parvis; I really do care for you. Even when I ignore you, I still love you. You're just a pain in the ass sometimes." Will explained, earning an 'angry' glare from Parv. The two laughed, sitting on the floor in each other's embrace. Parv then looked up at Will with his best puppy dog eyes.
"So...will you look at my magic now?" Will laughed, almost in disbelief.
"Still with the magic..."
"Will you?"
"Well, you see..."
"Wiiiillllll!~"
A/N: As always, feel free to suggest pairings. I'm currently working through some suggested ones now, so hopefully they'll be out soon.
