Being crowded into a van full on teenagers is not comfortable. Especially when, hold on-one, two, three, four-Especially when four of them are tall, gangly teenage boys who take up a lot of space. I mean, you might think that as a champion swimmer, Percy would have a nice, compact body, but his shoulders are surprisingly broad.
And when your leg has trouble bending, that makes things even less comfortable. I finally resign myself to the embarrassment of my foot spending the entire ride to Montauk in Piper's lap. Not much choice, since we're crammed into the van so tightly.
Percy is sitting next to me. He and Frank are talking about something; I just can't quite make out what he's saying.
"Hey, Annabeth?" There's a tinge of worry in Percy's voice.
"She's fine," Piper says. "It's probably just the painkillers kicking in."
When I wake up, it's dark.
I sit up, realizing as I do so, that I'm pretty much using Percy as a full body pillow.
"Sorry," I say.
"It's fine. How's the knee?"
The knee is a dull throb that is still hard to bend, but it's definitely better than it was yesterday.
"It's okay."
Percy reaches out and gives my hand a quick squeeze.
"We're almost there," Thalia calls back.
Yawns and groans fill the van. I'm not the only one who's fallen asleep.
The van crunches over sand and seashells as we pull up in front of Poseidon's beach house. I've never been, but the quick glimpse I get through the windshield is enough to realize that when Percy said beach "house" he really meant "mansion". Then the van turns and all I can see is dark sky.
Thalia parks the van. Then looks back at me.
"Now what?"
I rub a hand over my face.
"Somebody needs to check the house. Percy, take a couple people with you. No, Thalia, stay behind the wheel, just in case."
Percy taps Jason, Luke, Frank and Hazel (of all people on the shoulder). Then they stumble over the rest of us and head out the back of the van. A few minutes later, Thalia is looking back in the back again.
"They're giving us the thumbs up," she says. "Everybody out."
Nico lunges for the door, twisting the handle and jumping out. Bianca is right behind him. I'm thinking it's because they've never been all that comfortable with crowds and, you know, people. Then Nico yells.
"Dibs!"
"Hey, kid, we'll figure out sleeping arrangements in a minute," Percy says as the rest of the group jumps down from the van.
I've managed to scoot halfway down the length of the van on my butt. He looks at me, cocks an eyebrow and leans against a door.
"Need some help?"
I grit my teeth and shake my head. I've gotten this far. Percy shrugs and just watches me. He doesn't say that he's there if I change my mind, but I know that's he means. Finally, my legs dangle into the open air. I slide until my feet touch the ground and stand. Not the most comfortable position to be in, but not excruciating either. Percy nods.
"Ground floor guest room for you it is."
He falls into step with my less than stellar pace. I am conserving my strength for zombie fleeing. Otherwise, I'll avoid testing my pain tolerance.
Poseidon's cabin isn't like most beach houses. Not that I can see them. Poseidon has enough money to own a nice-sized strip of the beach. But I've seen designs in my mom's magazines.
Instead of a modern, glass-walled construction, Poseidon went for a giant cabin. The walls are made from giant logs. The door shows up a nice, deep red in the glow from the van's headlights. A porch runs the length of the front and disappears around both corners. It's huge and sprawling. I can't decide whether it's homey or pretentious.
Percy steps on the middle step and then onto the porch. I hobble up behind him.
I can hear Bianca yelling at Nico. Piper is asking if it's okay for her and Hazel to share the room at the top of the stairs. Luke is coming down a hallway leading to the back of the house, blankets draped over his arm. Grover is already conked out on a couch in the next room.
"Annabeth," Juniper grabs my arm and pulls be down the hallway Luke just came from. I stumble. She grimaces and slows down. "I thought we could share the downstairs bedroom."
I glance at Grover, but shrug. I wouldn't mind the company.
"In a minute," I say.
I head over to where Percy, Jason and Frank are huddled. The more I move, the easier movement becomes. I'm not looking forward to waking up after a night of inactivity.
"Perimeter check?" I ask.
Percy nods.
"That's what we were just talking about." He pauses.
"I'll go, too." That comes from Piper who has just descended the staircase. The boys give her dubious looks. "I am trained," she says, patting the knife at her belt. "Ask Hazel if you have any doubt."
Percy shrugs.
"That's good enough for me." He turns to me. "Do you think you guys will be alright?"
I nod.
"I'll put Luke on watch," I say. "We can figure out the rest of the night and let you guys know where you fit in when you get back."
"Okay." He places his keys in my hand. "Just in case, my dad's boat is The Trident. Thalia should know the dock. Keys are in the safe in his bedroom."
"Combination?"
Percy chuckles.
"What, you can't crack a safe?"
I roll my eyes and cross my eyes. I'd tap my foot too, but that seems a little complicated at the moment.
"30, 31, 75, 12," Percy says, leaning close.
Then they head out the door, leaving me to lock it behind them.
It doesn't take me more than a few minutes to come up with a watch schedule between Thalia, Luke, Bianca and I. We decide to let Nico and Hazel sleep, sharing the burden between the older of us.
"What about Piper?" Bianca asks. "Should we trust her?"
I shrug. "She helped me out when I passed out in an alleyway."
"Still waiting for that story, by the way," Thalia says.
"Later," I say.
We check the time. Then we decide on watches. I am notably excluded from the line-up. But I can't really argue. I'm not really in any shape right now to help if the zombies come crashing in.
I feel useless.
So I limp back to the bedroom I'm sharing with Juniper and collapse into the bed. They can figure out where to sleep on their own. Juniper has got us all set up. It's a pretty small layout. A set of bunk beds and chest of drawers. Amphitrite probably handled the decoration for this room, because it's covered in pastels and seashells. Not exactly what I remember Poseidon going for.
For obvious reasons, Juniper takes the top bunk.
"Night, Annabeth," she says.
I crawl into my bed, hoping that I won't have to move for several hours. I listen as Juniper's breathing begins to slow and even out. Wish I could fall asleep that fast. But my mind churns with all of the things that we need to do tomorrow. Do we check on the boat first? Or do we raid the shops in Montauk Town? I mean, the boat is the safest option, but wouldn't now be the best time to get supplies? People are bound to have the same ideas as us. We have the van if it comes down to that. We could split up. But isn't that when it all goes wrong in the movies?
It's a lot to think about. But that doesn't bother me. My mind stays away from the fact that Percy is out in the dark with only three people as back-up. That shouldn't bother me any more than Frank or Jason or Piper being out there.
It still does.
And I can't decide if I like it.
"Annabeth?"
I sit up, nearly whacking my head on the bottom of Juniper's bunk.
"What...Thalia? Is everything alright?"
There's a long silence and then,
"Oh. You can't exactly see me. Um, everything's fine." I hear her sneakers scuff across the floor. "Mind if I join you?"
I don't object and feel the bed sag. She's a column of darker darkness as she sits silently next to me. For a long time.
"Um, did the boys get back?"
"Huh?" She turns to me, even though I can't see her face. "Oh, you mean the boys and Piper?"
Right, I'd forgotten. Well, mostly, I'd just been thinking about Percy. Gods, was this going to be a problem?
"Yeah." Thalia says. "Percy and Jason said everything looked good for now and headed to bed." More silence. This time I don't try to break it. I have an idea where this might be going. "Annabeth, can I…ask you a question?"
"Yeah?"
"Why did you just disappear when you went to San Francisco?"
I swallowed.
"I..."
How do I answer that when I don't have a good answer? With a sigh, I scoot over. Thalia takes the hint and stretches out next to me. These were generous bunk beds. Not a bad place to sleep, even if the bedspread was peach. "I don't know," I finally say. "I guess...I guess I didn't want to be around anything that might set my mom off."
"But my dad didn't do anything. He thought it would be good for Athena to start her own business."
"Yeah, but he didn't exactly do anything either, and when Poseidon stole Mom's designs..." I don't finish the sentence.
"Annabeth, I was your best friend." She huffs and I hear the tears in her voice.
"I was twelve, Thalia. I didn't know what to do...and then it just got harder."
She is right. It was awful not talking to her for that first year. Probably even harder for her, since she had no reason to be mad at me. "I don't know if it makes any difference, but I am sorry, Thalia. I wish I had done some things differently." I reach out for her hand and give it a squeeze. Finding it takes a couple of tries in the dark. She latches on to my hand and squeezes back.
"Can I ask something?" I say.
My pillow moves a little and I assume she's forgotten that I can't see her nod.
"Why didn't you say anything when I came back? Percy, um...implied that you were thinking about it."
"Percy did? When?"
"After I helped him with school. He invited me to a movie with you guys."
"Would you have come?" she asks.
"I don't know. I was still trying to decide when my mom called to say the world had exploded."
Thalia laughs.
"I was scared, I guess. Once you've been rejected once..."
This time I nod. Oh, right, dark.
"I guess I can understand." I don't add any context, but she has to know that I'm thinking about Hera. Her silence confirms my suspicion that things haven't changed much since I was twelve. "If it makes you feel in any better, I think Percy was pretty nervous."
"Yeah, but that's because..."
I hold my breath. Mentally, I'm pleading with her not to say anything. My friendship with Percy hasn't even returned to normal, I'm not ready to deal with…other stuff.
"You know, because of his dad and everything." It's only halfway convincing. But in this case, halfway is good enough for me. "He really does seem to put a lot of stock in what you say. He never listens to me that well."
I laugh at the tone of her voice. She kind of sounds like his mom.
"I did save his life, that might be why."
It's a long before Thalia says, "Yeah. Probably."
I want to ask her a thousand questions. But my eyes are starting to get heavy. And I need to be able to think clearly. Thalia yawns. I expect for her to get up a head to wherever she decided to camp out tonight. Instead, I hear her sneakers go thud, thud on the ground. I wonder briefly if Thalia still snores (she did horribly when we were kids), but I never get the chance to find out. My eyes close and I am asleep.

Juniper is the one who wakes.
Funny. I still expect my mom. Taking my hair down, I run my finger through it as I swing my legs over the bed. My knee is still stiff, but if I had to run, I think I still could. It bends easily at least.
Not so sure about my arms. I should probably change the bandages and check them. Pulling my sneakers back on, I head out of my room.
I should probably find a hairbrush too.
Everyone else is up by the time I get back to the main room. I can hear Thalia and Jason in the kitchen, bickering about what to do about breakfast. The freezer sounds well-stocked at least.
I exchange a look with Juniper. Do Jason and Thalia even know how to cook? I mean, I know they lived with their mom for a while, but she died when Thalia was like, five.
We're heading into the kitchen when I hear Piper call my name.
"Hey," she says. She has a roll of gauze in one hand and a bottle of hydrogen peroxide in the other.
I sigh. Sooner is better than later.
"I'll catch up with you in a few minutes," I say. "I'm going to go submit to torture."
Juniper grimaces.
"Okay, I'll see if we can't dig up something better than Eggos and bacon."
"Dude, it can't get better than Eggos and bacon," Grovers says.
We roll our eyes collectively.
I follow Piper to the bathroom upstairs. She helps me remove the bandages that run all the way to my elbows.
"We should probably let these breath for a little while," she says as she surveys the damage up and down my arms.
I've gotten off pretty easily, all things considered. But they still look awful. Percy's jacket protected my shoulders, but I hit hard enough that my forearms didn't escape.
"You know I did this to my hip once while jo-"
I suppose I should be grateful that Piper didn't give me any time to anticipate the pain. But damn, she could have given me some warning.
"Everything okay?" Percy pokes his head in the bathroom door, Luke hovers behind him.
I nod. Because it is the best I can do.
"I'm just making sure Annabeth's arms don't rot and fall off," Piper says. "Now where..." She starts searching through the cabinet. "Percy do you know...Aha, nevermind."
"Okay," Percy says. "Annabeth, I'll uh...catch you downstairs." And then he high tails it after Luke. They clomp down the stairs like a pair of trolls.
"Boys." Piper rolls her eyes.
"Yeah, just can't deal pain." I grimace. "So, you do know what you're doing, right?"
"I was helping when Rachel and Ms. Eileithya patched you up." She brandishes the towel she just found and then gently pats my arms dry. It feels like a million hot pin points being pressed into my arm. "We'll wrap that back up later."
Hazel joins us as we head back downstairs. She's quiet. Really quiet. I bet she fits in really well with the diAngelos. It must be a Hades sibling thing. Although, watching Nico and Bianca deal with a boisterous sibling might have been amusing.
The group has spread out in the common room. Grover reclaimed his residence on the couch, though there's room for Juniper and Thalia now that he's upright. Luke sits on the floor in front of them, talking so animatedly that I'm sure he'll knock his plate off his lap. Hazel quickly joins her siblings at the table. Through the open front door, I can see Frank standing, gun in his back pocket, a crossbow held loosely in front of him. I grab a plate from the table and retreat to the back of the house once it's full of toaster waffles and fried pig meat.
It's much quieter back here. The long entertainment room has windows for walls (I guess the beachy cabin theme is just for the front). You can see the patio and the pool and then the beach. The sliding glass door is opened. Percy's out there, calf deep in the surf. There's a shuffle behind me.
"Oh, hey," I say as Jason hurriedly gets up from the couch.
"Hey," he says.
"I'm guessing it's still good out there since your cousin left the door wide open."
"Yeah." He picks his plate up and heads back towards the front of the house.
O-kay.
I glance at Percy again. It's weird. I feel like I'm intruding or something. Should I leave? Then again, somebody should be watching his back.
I don't have to think about it further though, because at that moment, Percy turns and sees me. He waves and heads back towards the house.
I cock an eyebrow as he slides the door closed.
"Might be the last moment of peace I get for a long while."
Munching on a piece of bacon, I nod. If things go well, we might get away from the zombies, but I don't think being on a yacht full of teenagers is going to be very peaceful.
Percy glances at my arm and then looks away.
"How're the arms."
"They still feel like Piper poured acid over them, but at least they won't be turning black any time soon."
"That was a really stupid move, I hope you know that," he says. He places his hands on his hips and glares at me. "We should have come up with a plan as a group."
"Before or after the zombies had us on the roof of that garage?" I set my plate down on the pool table and start to cross my arms. Then it occurs to me that that will hurt, so I mirror him instead. "It was a good plan and it worked."
Percy crosses his arms. "You were lucky Annabeth. Next time you might not be. We need to work as a team or this isn't going to work."
"And sometimes, you have to take one for the good of the team." It's my turn to glare. "No, don't lecture me, Percy Jackson. You would have done the exact same thing."
I push past him. "C'mon," I say. "We should go plan our next move. As a group." I let the 'p' pop just a little extra.
Behind me, Percy mutters something I pretend not to hear.
Everybody is more or less in the common room. Grover takes one look at my face, then Percy's and starts to clear out.
"No," I say. "Stay." I go stand by the fireplace, so everyone can see me. And more importantly, I can see them. Percy remains in the doorway. "I think the next few parts of the plan are obvious. We need to get to the boat and we need to stock the boat." Again, I have to resist the urge to cross my arms. Guess you don't know how often you do something until you can't do it.
"Okay," Luke says. "And..."
"The question is, what order do we do that in?"
I look at each of them.
"Do we make sure the boat is a viable option first? Or do we hit the Town before too many others have the same idea?"
Surprise is evident on a couple of faces. The idea of the boat not being there never occurred to them.
"Wait, we aren't staying here?" Piper asks.
I shake my head.
"We're on an island," Grover says. "Island plus highly contagious ambulatory rage plague? Never turns out well."
There's more than one disappointed face. Thalia looks at Luke and then at Jason. Jason shrugs. He doesn't look happy. I'm not sure if that's because of me or because he doesn't like our options.
"Are we sure?" Bianca cuts in. "We seem pretty isolated here. I haven't seen a zombie since we left the city."
"That doesn't mean they aren't out there," Percy says. He's still camped out with his shoulder leaning into the doorjamb. "Or that we won't have to deal with worse if we stay."
"Worse than zombies?" Nico sounds incredulous.
"Zombies are dumb," I say. "There may be a lot of them, but people are more vicious."
I get several nods at that.
"We should check on the boat first," Percy says. He waits for me to look at him before he continues. "No use in getting the supplies if we have no transportation. And we need to unload the van if we're going to take more on."
Good thought.
"So do we all go?" Thalia asks.
"Yes."
I look at Percy. He looks at me. He seems as surprised at our sudden synchronicity. Despite our mutual annoyance with each other. Maybe we should start a presidential campaign when the new world order is set up. Or maybe not. Percy would make a horrible Vice President.
Percy looks away, rubbing at the back of his neck.
"We all go," I say. "No exceptions if you want to come with us. You can take your chances here, but we won't be coming back for you."
There are a couple of nods. And then more.
"Okay then." Percy has his "in charge" face back on. "We leave in twenty minutes then. Get your things together. Annabeth, do you want to go through the house and see what would be useful?"
When we leave Poseidon's cabin, we're richer by a few blankets, some hygiene products (thank the gods) and what non-perishables Poseidon has. Percy is waiting by the door, a giant backpack by his feet. I look at the bag and then at him.
"Some of my dad's camping gear."
The layer of clothing and blankets rises a few more inches. The supplies are stuffed up between and behind the two front seats. We are definitely going to need to commandeer more vehicles if we end up staying in the vehicle. This time, I sit on the outside, squished between Frank and the doors. Percy sits in the front next to Thalia.
Sitting in the back of the van is mentally exhausting. There are no windows, and I tense every time Thalia slows the van down. It takes all my self-control to not climb over everyone and plant myself in the midst of the supplies between Percy and Thalia. But I don't.
Still I crane my neck, trying to see something. When we start passing tall masts, I know we're getting close.
"Is it clear?" Frank asks when Thalia pulls us to stop.
"Far as we can tell," Percy says. He opens his door and hops out.
We all wait as Percy and Thalia circle round to the back and open the doors. It's a relief to get out of the back of that van; it's starting to smell stale.
"She's still there," Percy says. He points to a multi-deck luxury yacht. 'The Trident' is on its side in a blocky, old-fashioned script.
"Are there enough of us for that thing?" Frank asks when he gets a good look at the boat.
"Yeah," Percy says.
"Let's make sure it's clear and then we can get stuff unloaded and into the boat," I say. I grab a couple of blankets, grateful for the new layer of gauze covering my scrapes. Piper wasn't particularly happy, she said it would be better if we'd have smooth surface bandaging like at the school. But you gotta work with what you got. Percy steps in to take the load from me. "I've got this," I say. "You go check the boat."
He blinks at me, then shrugs. Pointing to Grover, Jason, Frank and Luke, he boards the boat. Thalia and I organize the others as we remove items from the van and pile them nearby.
The yacht is clear.
"Anything else in the back?" Percy asks Thalia.
"Yeah, a couple of the bags of food."
Percy disappears behind the van. There's a yell. We all drop our items. Even as I reach for my crossbow, the voice registers as not Percy. It sounds like a girl. Our whole group converges on the back of the van.
Percy blocks the exit of the van, Riptide held at an angle in front of him. In the back of the van is a girl, she has reddish brown hair and dark, dark almond eyes. In one hand, she's hold one of our bags of food. In the other, she has a knife.
Thalia and Bianca fall into step behind Percy, their crossbows pointed at the girl. Her eyes widen. They're the only part of her that moves. Ducking under Percy's arm, I hold my hands out, palms down.
"Why don't you just put the knife down," I say.
The girl blinks.
"Says the girl with a small army," she says. She brings the food bag forward to shield her body.
"You're right. You are outnumbered."
"And like hell, I'm going down without a fight." She glares at me.
"We don't want to hurt you. We just want our food back."
She opens her mouth to say something, but before she can, Percy steps forward. He hands Anaklusmos to me.
"I'm Percy," he says, holding his hand out. The girl eyes him warily. He flashes her his best smile. "Percy Jackson."
"I-" She looks at him, then at the girls with the crossbows. "I know you," she finally says. "You go to MO."
"We all go to MO," Percy says. "Well, except for those two." He points to Piper and Hazel. "Now, um..." Percy's eyes cut to me and I know what he's asking. But I can't help him. I don't know her.
"Calypso," she says. "Calypso Klymenson. You don't even know who I am, do you."
I see Percy flush.
"Well, I would love to fix that," he says. "But first I need that knife."
She looks at all of us again, then she sighs. She doesn't come out all at once, she edges towards us, until she's finally close enough that she can place the knife in Percy's hand. He quickly passes it to me. Then he holds his hand out again. Calypso looks confused for a moment, then she hands over the bag with the food. That he passes to Bianca (my hands are currently full).
"Better," he says. "Now why don't you come out and talk with us. Jason's the only one that bites, I promise." He holds his hand out again. It takes a couple of false starts, but finally Calypso's hand fits into his and he helps her from the back of the van.
Somewhere around where my stomach resides, I feel tightness. Which is ridiculous. Percy's just being nice to girl who is obviously scared out of her mind. I can relate. I would be too if I were alone in all of this crazy. I'm not jealous. I'm just not keen on trusting random strangers.
And the others seem as nervous as me. They circle around us. No weapons are raised. They went down when Percy lowered Anaklusmos, but they're still out.
"Is it just you?" I ask.
"Of course, it's just me. Why else would I sneak into your van all by myself?" She crosses her arms and leans back.
"What brought you to Montauk? How long have you been watching us?"
"Geez, Annabeth, give the girl a break. This isn't 20 questions."
"No, Annabeth's got a point," Thalia says. "No offense, Calypso. But we don't know anything about you. I'm Thalia by the way." Thalia offers her hand to Calypso. She takes Thalia's offered hand hesitantly.
"I know who you are," she says.
"Right. School..."
"No. Your dad sent my dad to jail."
Thalia's face drains of color.
"Oh, I'm sorry..."
"Don't be. My dad was a bastard. He deserved it."
I can see her searching the group for an opening. We're packed pretty tightly. Anyone would be nervous, it's not suspicious at all.
"Can I go now?" Calypso asks. "I'll just have to chance the town for food."
I step back, forcing the circle to open up so that she can get out. She nods. All that's left is for her to walk away from us.
"You could come with us," Percy says.
That gets all of our attention.
"What?" I ask.
"She's by herself, Annabeth. And there's strength in numbers."
I open my mouth to repeat that we don't even know her. She could be anyone. She could have any number of people to back her up.
"Look, I don't want to cause trouble between you and your girlfriend..."
"I'm not his girlfriend," I say.
Percy echoes me, though he seems a little slow to get the words out at first, so all you can really hear is "my girlfriend". Calypso's eyes narrow as she looks between us. Percy looks away from me.
"What about what the rest of the group says," he says. "What do you guys think?" He looks at his cousins, then at Luke and Frank. There is not a rousing show of support. But he isn't met with outright disapproval either. Frank just shrugs.
"We let Piper join," he says, pulling at his dark buzz cut. "It's not like this is much different."
"Anybody else? Any other objections?" Percy asks. Nobody says anything. "Then it's settled. Calypso, you can join our group if you want."
She blinks.
"I...Thank you, yes," she says.
"Fine," I say. "Let's finish getting the boat loaded." I shove Anaklusmos at Percy, carefully, and head back to the boat. He growls, coming after me.
I pick up one of the bags on the dock a little too vehemently. I can feel the skin on my arms pull uncomfortably. Percy grabs my upper arm, turning me to face him.
"C'mon, Annabeth," he says, pulling me to the side.
I glance at Thalia, but she just starts picking things up and heads onto the boat.
"Annabeth," Percy says again. "Don't be like this. She's alone, she needs us."
"But we don't know about her," I hiss. I yank my arm out of his grasp. "We don't who she is or where she came from or..."
"We don't know any of that about Piper either."
"Hazel knows her. Or did you forget that fact?"
Percy's gaze sizzles. "Of course not," he bites out. "But Calypso didn't have to surrender to us. She trusts us."
"Maybe that was a ploy."
"C'mon Annabeth, she was terrified."
"That doesn't mean that we should take her in like she's a lost puppy."
"That's not..."
"That's exactly what happened. You saw a pretty girl in distress and you can't help but be the hero and come to her rescue. Well, big news, Jackson, not everyone needs you to save them."
Even though I'm keeping my voice low, Percy takes a step back.
"Annabeth, I have no idea where this is coming from, but I know this is the right thing. Please just trust me." He makes a move again to put a hand on my shoulder. I turn away before he can touch me.
"This is on your head, Percy Jackson," I say. "And if it goes wrong , you're the one to blame."
I stomp off and help the others load the boat. Getting on and off is hard for me since my knee is still not exactly a happy camper, so I mostly hand things to people so they don't have to travel as far. I'm still seething by the time we've loaded the boat and are ready to head into Montauk Town.
Oh you guys. You're relief about Annabeth is touching, but I wouldn't let my favorite character go down in such an un-epic way.
Thanks for all of the feedback, btw. I'm loving it.
I've got more coming, so keep giving me ideas of moments from the books that I can use. I have all the books so, if you could give page numbers so we can avoid spoilers. Especially with the HoO books. Also, if you want to get occasional updates you can follow me on tumblr at ...etc or you can follow my Twitter which is TheGladElf. I have been known to share the occasional bit of Percabeth fan art.
Finally, I need help coming up with bad guys. Obviously, the main bad guy of the series are kind of...out of play, so if you could help me remember evil demigods, it would be great.
Enjoy!
