Chapter 15
Terminus systems
Star Date: 2nd March 2158
Omega-Korulus district
The Eclipse mercs quickly and quietly made their way down the alley way, the Eclipse leader in this district had gotten word that a commonwealth agent had been sent to omega for an unknown reason, wanting to keep the commonwealth out of her district and make them pay for killing her friends in an unfortunate outfit that tried to set up a base in commonwealth systems the merc leader had ordered a kill team of 12 mercs to find the agent and bring them to her, alive if possible. So the mercs had taken a hammer head to the southern end of the district and made the rest of the way there on foot. They reached the target building and got ready to enter, counting down the Eclipse sergeant held up three fingers
"3,2,1, BREACH." The door was blasted open and the mercs stormed in, they sweeped the area looking for the agent but couldn't find him anywhere.
"Clear"
"Clear"
"Cle- GAHHH!" the other mercs whirled around and rushed to help their comrade, but when they got to him, they found his body strung up by a support beam a large stab wound in his chest.
"What the hell, Stumson get here… Strumson!" the Eclipse sergent turned around to the other mercs to find Strumson but couldn't find him.
"Where is-" before he could finish his sentence Strumsons body dropped into the middle of their group, mummified.
"HOLY-"
"Hahahahahaha you mercs make this so easy" the mercs made a circle as they scanned the room.
"SHOW YOUR SELF"
"No thanks" suddenly one of the mercs is yanked into the darkness above screaming, he is gone for a second before a wet slicing sound is heard and the merc's head drops back down.
"FIRE, FIRE" the sergeant shouts and they riddle the ceiling with mass effect rounds. They look up.
"Did… did we get him?" asks an Asari before the Salarian next to her makes a strange gurgling sound, looking in his direction she sees he has a narrow slit across his neck gushing blood. The mercs begin to panic and the smell of piss begins to mingle in the air.
"Damn it" shouts the sergeant, he looks around trying to find their target when another Asari is yanked away from the group, the group try to catch up before she abruptly stops the sergeant grabs her by the shoulders to get her to focus from the faraway look in her eyes, but when he grabs her, her head falls off.
Before any of the mercs can react an EMP burst erupts from the middle of their group, stunned they are unable to react when a figure decloaks in the middle of them and begins slicing them to ribbons with what seem to be 4 inch talons on its finger tips.
The sergeant moves to run away and get help, but a whirring sound is heard and something yanks on his ankle and drags him to the hooded figure. He looks up to see red eyes peering at him from under the hood, and his resolve leaves him.
"What are you, WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU!" the figure chuckles darkly before responding,
"I am a Versatile Assassin Mech version PI model R, but you can call me… Alucard"

Star date: 2nd March 2158
Terra- Prime ministers office
Integra lit a cigar as she relaxed after a hard day's work dealing with council dignitaries and issues arising from helping getting the Quarians get resettled back on their home of Rannoch, commonwealth aid ships had been discreetly dispatched to aid them in this Endeavour so a not to arouse the councils suspicion. She briefly turned her thoughts to the Geth and how they have given the Quarians space and room to adjust, 300 years of AI induced paranoia is not going to disappear overnight.
She is interrupted from her musings by a chime coming from her holo communicator, she sits in her chair and activates the transmitter, the image of a VAMPIR mech appears in front of her, but she recognizes this one instantly as it only recognizes her as its superior.
"My master, I have been compromised, the filth have discovered my location" Alucard says in his slightly mechanical deep baritone voice.
"I see, if that is the case then you know you're standing orders."
"Under stood I will return immediately" the VAMPIR is interrupted by Walter,
"Sir Integra we have an incoming communiqué from the council." Integra arched an eyebrow incuriosity.
"Patch them through" a second window opened and the three council members are displayed.
"Councilors how may I be of service?" Integra asks in an even tone, Alucard decides to remain connected, he and the other black guards are always kept up to date with every order Integra makes, well almost everyone, she thinks suddenly of Zeus and the execution of the 3,000 Quarian ships.
"You can start by giving us our spectre back" demands Sparatus
"I'm sorry?" demands Integra
"What Sparatus is trying to say is that we would like our spectre back, we know he was near human territory but we promise to make sure that we will infrom you next time" tries Tevos
"Ordinarily I would consider this option if I actually had your spectre, one of my OVERWATCH agents was dispatched to trail him along the border with the Terminus systems, we have not heard from him since his last check in 3 days ago" replied Integra coldly
"I'm sorry but we have evidence that he came across a human planet, we are sending you the transmission we received from the craft he was in now." After a few seconds the video was received by Integra's personal omni-tool, one of the few council creations adopted by the commonwealth.
The video showed a short girl wearing red and black with a tall blonde girl.
"Ruby what on Remnant did you press?" asked the blonde girl
"I don't know Yang, I just tripped and pressed a button and now the crafts making all these weird noises."
"Ugh you have to be more careful, now let's gather up that aliens things and get them back to beacon, Ozpin says he will have another team retrieve both craft in an hour or so, come on Ruby" with that the video ended. Integra studied both girls in the clip and what was said.
Hmm Remnant, they used that name like we would say 'what on Earth' that implies the planet they are on, but we don't have a planet named Remnant, also they said both craft, maybe our missing agent is there as well.
"Councilors I don't know what is going on here but I believe our agents may have been captured by an unauthorized human settlement, I would like to suggest a joint op between the spectres and the Blackguard to retrieve our operatives and determine who these people are." The councilors thought for a moment then nodded in agreement.
"Agreed, involves both our peoples and so we should both send an agent." Agreed Irelith
"I will have my Blackguard meet your agent on the citadel in a days time Integra out." With that Integra cut the connection with the council and turned her attention back to Alucard who had been listening in.
"Go Alucard, I would send Seras but she is currently occupied at the moment, something about making herself a new weapon."
"Eh, give that bitch a cannon, bitches love cannons" Integra pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Sweet Christ, just get your arse over to the Citadel now, and be nice to your council counterpart."
"Aw come on do I have to?"
"Ah ah ah none of the sas"
"Yes mooom" with that the connection cut, Integra took a drag of her cigarette and thought, that conversation felt oddly familiar. Oddly enough a certain VAMPIR mech was thinking the same thing.

UNKNOWN SYSTEM

LOCATION UNKNOWN
Lt Marcus Roy found his self shackled to a chair next to the Turian spectre, the Turian had not said a word to him since they were captured, after being captured they had been taken to a local castle like structure by the teenagers, where were kept in different cells, today he and the spectre had been brought to what seemed like an interrogation room, waiting for their interrogator.
The door opened and a man walked in, wearing a green suit, scarf with silver hair and glasses, Marcus thought for a second that he reminded him slightly of a certain platinum blonde who was the leader of the commonwealth.
He was followed by the same 4 girls as before, all were armed and all were wary. The Turian let off a subtle growl at the one in yellow which she merely smirked at. The man set his mug down and sat down leaning on his cane.
"I suppose introductions are in order, my name is professor Ozpin headmaster of Beacon Academy." Marcus's eyes widened, wait I was captured by STUDENTS, that's just embarrassing. "Now who are you."
"Like I will tell you filty human" Saren growls Marcus glares at the Turian
"If you're going to do nothing but insult my kind and worsen our position SHUT THE FUCK UP" Marcus roars, Saren glares at him but decides to remain silent, for now
"Sorry about him" Marcus turns his attention back to Ozpin. "he's not very friendly towards humans"
"I can tell" yellow buts in
"Yang please be quiet" Ozpin interrupts
"Before we continue Ozpin I have to ask, who are those 4"
"They are students here, team RWBY to be precise, Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xioa Long."
"Kay, it's just I'm kinda embarrassed with myself now knowing I got took down by students, no offense"
"None taken" replies Ruby with a wave of her hand
"Any way you two are?"
"I am Saren Arterius, citadel council spectre and proud member of the Turian Hierarchy."
"I am Lieutenant Marcus Roy, agent for OVERWATCH of the Terran commonwealth of Humanity"
"I see, if I may ask what is your purpose here?."
"I was dispatched to tail Saren here when he came too close to human borders, but eventually we picked up radio chatter from a planet in this system, your planet to be exact"
"Great, first the white fang now space men" groans Weiss earning a look from Blake
"Seeing Saren head to the planet, I decided to follow and confront him. That's when your students 'arrested' me." Ozpin studied him for a moment determining the truth of his words.
"Okay I believe you, but what happens now"
"We go back to our ships inform our respective superiors then you get some diplomats sent your way and then it goes above my pay-grade." The girls fidget a little while Ozpin remains impassive
"What happens if you can't use your ship?"
"What?" asks Saren, Ruby answers this time.
"OneofourschoolsteamswassenttofindSaren'sshipbutendedupgettingintoafightwithsomegrimmandduringthefighttheshipwasdestroyed" Saren actually had a dumb founded expression on his face.
"What?"
"Your ship was destroyed"
"Wait you understood that?"
"Barely, okay what about mine"
"Next time you park your ship, don't park it in a king taitju nest." Replied yang
"So my ship is gone as well."
"yes...sorry" squeaked Ruby.
"Okay this may be a problem"
"Why what will happen."
"Two options, you will probably either have a small team of operatives sent to investigate our disappearance." replies Saren
"The other option?" asks Blake apprehensively
"You may be looking at a full scale military invasion by one of if not both the most dominant military powers in the galaxy, as kidnapping a citizen of the commonwealth no matter who it is, is seen as an act of war by my people." Replies Marcus. The 5 other humans in the room pale significantly
"I pray that cooler heads prevail, for your people's sake."
