Everything was a mess. The world was a mess – both worlds were a mess – their entire system of life was a mess. They were trying to fix the mess, but in the process, some days it seemed like all they did was make it worse.
Their journey had its ups and downs. What held them together through it all was their hope for someday better. Someday, life would be fairer for everyone. Someday, the world wasn't going to be in this mess. Someday, everyone would be able to live freely.
But for today, they would work with everything they had to bring that someday one day closer. It wouldn't just be someday any more.
