Lauren found herself still in her car parked in her driveway. Her hands grabbing onto the wheel as her breathing pattern quickened. The reality of what just happened completely hit her. It felt like a ton of bricks and it weighed heavily on the brunette.

HOW did I manage to fuck this up? HOW?

She put her head down in her hands and she couldn't stop the tears from taking over; she began to sob. She finally lifted her head after crying her eyes out, put the car in reverse and drove off.

The brunette made her way into Dylan's house, which she had a key to. They have been best friends since what they say 'the dawn if time' and he had a key to her home as well. Lauren made her way up the stairs and barged into his room.

"What the fuck! Lauren is that you?" She flicked the light on, "you scared the shit out of me." He glared at her wide-eyed, "what's wrong? What are you doing here?" his tone quickly changing at the sight of his best friend.

He quickly sat up, running his hand through his her as he watch her stand against the wall near the door. He scanned her over noticing her eyes were red, her expression distraught and he could tell she had been crying.

"Lauren," His voice soft, "what happened? I figured you'd well, not be HERE," he tilted his head.

It took awhile for the words to sink in as she finally lifted her head to look at her best friend, "to tell you the truth, I'm not really sure." The green-eyed girl was confused herself. "Everything was fine, it was great!" she began pacing around the room, "and then Nat showed up and said 'hi' and I don't really know."

Dylan's eyes narrowed, a small smirk making an appearance on his face as her heard the name, "waaaaa-wait a second," he waved his hand for her to stop talking, "Nat? Natalia Sestito as in the super model?" Lauren nodded her head, "as in the one you, well you KNOW," he winked at her, "in Paris."

"Yeah," she nodded, lips pressed together as she went through his dresser, finding something more comfortable to slip into, "that Nat!" she yelled from his walk-in closet changing.

He began to chuckle, "let me guess, Nat came over, flirted with you in front of Camila?"

"What? Nooo, no, she just came over to say 'hi'" Lauren trying to replay the whole scene in her head all over again, "Camila DID get upset, so you're right about that. I just don't really know why, which really doesn't MATTER," she let out a breath, "I just need to talk to Camz, but she just shut the door in my face." She slid down, back against the wall sitting on the floor.

"Of course I'm right!" she rolled her eyes at him as the word came out of his mouth, "look Laur, I love you, but sometimes you're completely oblivious. You do know that Nat WANTS your nuts right?" He stared right at her, "think about it Lauren, REALLY think about it."

She smacked her forehead at the realization, "shit, you're right," she let out a puff of air in a laugh, "gosh I'm so blind!"

"Yeah well, Camila tends to blind you and that's all you tend to focus on." He smiled at her. "A super model can be ALL OVER you and you wouldn't notice, must be LOVE."

"I really didn't need this tonight; I'm trying to make things right, I love her so much." She could feel her heart ache as she let out the words. "When it RAINS, it POURS." She shook her head.

Lauren sat there just staring as she rummaged through her thoughts. Her heart beat faster than before as she thought about the brown-eyed girl. She hated the fact that Camila got so upset. Lauren knows that she's not in the best place to really DEFEND herself after what happened, but they're trying to work things out and situations like these ARE going to happen; it's inevitable, especially in their line of work.

"What are you gonna do Laur?" He asked after a few minutes of silence.

"I'm a little pissed off right now." She said with her eyebrows scrunched as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

"What? Why?"

"Well Camz agreed to go on this date with me, she AGREED to give THIS…US a shot and to work it out and then she just gets mad and walks away." She shook her head, "I know what I did was wrong and it was stupid, but I shouldn't be punished OVER and OVER again for my past mistakes, it's not fair."

"Yeah, I hear ya, I mean if you forgive someone, you can't hold it against them, it's not healthy. It would never work." He said understandingly.

"That's right," her tone despairing, "it would NEVER work." She inhaled and exhaled.

The thought of THEM not working tormented her completely. She swallowed the lump in her throat; she couldn't bare losing the Camila all over again. There was no way she could deal with that kind of pain all over again. Lauren took her phone out of her purse and began to dial.

***Flashback 2 Years Ago***

She simply read the names.

::Karla Camila Cabello + Derek Michael Trenton::

She placed the announcement down and began walking towards the door. Lauren hopped in her car and she just drove. She didn't know where she was going and what she was doing but she just kept on driving as the tears streamed down her face.

Camila's engaged, she's engaged.

She pulled over on Pacific Coast Highway and got out of the car making her way towards the rail. She looked out into the ocean in complete anguish. She's never felt THIS kind of pain before, losing Camila forever; it's not supposed to happen.

She's supposed to end up with ME, she belongs with ME.

Lauren took her phone out of her pocket, her sanity completely thrown out the window as she began to dial a number she hasn't dialed in years, but she knew it, she knew it by heart.

~RING-RING-RING~

~RING-RING-RING~

"Hello?" An all too familiar voice answered and to be honest Lauren didn't think she would answer and the sound of her voice made the green-eyed girl freeze.

She was ready, ready to spit out every angry word within her, ready to tell her how much she wanted to be with her, how much she loved her, how no one else can love her the way she did and that she deserved better, but the words didn't come out. She remained silent, drowning in her sorrows as the brown-eyed girl on the other end spoke.

"Hello?" Camila could hear light sobbing and soft murmurs on the other end. "Lauren, Lo? Is that you?"

Lauren couldn't listen to her voice any longer; it killed her. She slowly crumbled and fell to her knees, clutching onto her shirt as she cried uncontrollably. Ache made it's way through her entire body, eyes burning from the tears and the truth. She lost Camila; she's engaged.

She cried for hours by herself, letting herself be submerged in the hurt.

***End of Flashback***

~RING-RING-RING~

Lauren was nervous, she didn't know if she was going to pick up the phone or not and it made her anxious. She waited as the phone continued to ring and ring, "hello?" a tired voice asked on the other end.

"Hi," was all the older brunette could let out, her body relaxing at the sound on the other end, her heart expanding as her lips pulled to her eyes. "I'm coming over okay?" It wasn't really a question because the green-eyed girl was coming over whether or not Camila liked it.

"Okay." The brown-eyed girl's voice was soft as she let out a soft yawn that tugged at Lauren's heartstrings, "Lo?"

"Yeah?"

"Hurry, okay?"

Lauren smiled, "okay."

Lauren continued to smile as she looked at the phone then at her best friend who was shaking his head. "Women! I'll never understand you guys."

She laughed getting up off the floor, "yeah well I'm right there with ya!" she said making her way towards the door.

"So, what are you gonna do when you get there?" his eyes tired.

"I'm not sure yet. All I know is that I LOVE her too much to let her sleep upset at me, should NEVER go to sleep upset. I need to be with her and talk to her, so we'll see."

"Laur?" she turned around, "drive safely and let me know how it goes." He flashed her a smile before flopping back on his bed, "and turn the light off!"

"Love you Dylan!" She flipped the light switch and made her way down the stairs.
