They made their way hastily towards the town car that was awaiting them just outside the venue. Lauren couldn't keep her hands off the younger brunette, her hands clinging onto the brown-eyed girl's hands, their fingers interlocked the entire time as they made their way outside to their ride.
What she did in there, so confident. That's MY girl…so sexy; we need to hurry! Lauren thought to herself as her grasp tighten just a little more as a sign of affection.
The younger brunette led the way, occasionally turning her head back towards the porcelain skin girl, the younger brunette smiling form ear to ear every time she felt a tug or light squeeze on her waist.
Brown eyes turned to meet sparkling green ones, she's so adorable, the way she's holding onto me, not a care in the world, I've always admired that about her, the way she didn't care about what others would think.
***Flashback 8 ½ Years Ago***
Camila and Lauren were out, just the two of them, on a cold December night in New York City. The brown-eyed girl wanted to get out of their hotel room and more importantly she wanted to take the older brunette on a date, yes, a date. The green-eyed girl was always the one to take the initiative when it came to their dates and she wanted to show Lauren how much she cared about her and their relationship, so she took her out on a date.
"That was so fun Camz!" she exclaimed excitedly sitting next to the younger brunette on a bench as they both unlaced their skates.
Look at her, not a care in the world, like a little kid ice-skating for the first time, the younger brunette chuckled to herself.
Camila continued to admire the girl next to her, her lips pulling to her brown eyes at the sight of a happy girl, almost childlike as she continued to beam while untying her skates, "so you had fun?" the younger brunette placed her hand on the older girl's thigh, giving it a light squeeze.
Emerald orbs gazed into bright brown ones, "fun is an understatement," her pearly whites in full view as she placed her hand on Camila's that was on her thigh, it was hard to feel the warmth through their gloves, but she could feel the love come through as she held her hand.
"Come on," the brown-eyed girl stood up, "we gotta go check out the tree." She led the way; it was just a few feet away.
"Wow, I never really realized how BIG this tree is," the green-eyed girl made her way behind the younger brunette, wrapping her arms around her waist.
Camila clung onto the arms that wrapped around her, "do you think one day we can have a tree this big in our house?"
OUR HOUSE. Lauren scrunched her nose, nuzzling against the side of Camila's face.
"Camz," she whispered in her ear, brown orbs still hypnotized by the giant tree, "you do realize that we need to build a house for giants to fit a tree that big."
The younger girl turned around, pressing her entire body against the green-eyed girl as she let her arms drop to her sides, her face against the older brunette's shoulder/collarbone area, "are you saying I can't have a tree that big?"
This is gonna be a problem, how am I going to EVER say NO to this girl, she thought to herself as the younger girl let out the question, I guess I will NEVER say NO to this girl.
Lauren's heart began to flutter as Camila let out the words so sweetly, she wrapped her arms tightly around the petite brunette, "for you, I'll make it happen." She breathed out.
Camila pulled back, just enough to look into loving green eyes, her lips curving into a smile, "you promise?"
"I promise." Lauren slowly leaned in.
"Lo…" Camila took a step back, looking around, the younger girl quickly realizing what she had done, closing the gap between them, "I'm sorry, it's just, there's so many people around."
Lauren flashed her a toothless smile, completely breaking contact, "it's fine, I probably shouldn't have held you the way I did either." She turned her attention to the tree.
That hurt, this whole hiding thing is getting old fast, but I love her and these are the cards we've been dealt with, she shrugged in thought.
She could tell the porcelain skin girl was a little hurt at her rejection, "Lauren, I'm sorry it's just with management asking all kinds of questions and-"
Lauren turned towards the younger brunette, her brown eyes more than apologetic, "Camz, it's fine," she smiled, "you're probably right anyways."
I'm right? Why do I feel like crap? Maybe because I know I just hurt the person I'm in love with, I'm so stupid sometimes! Why can't I be more like her, she just lives in the moment and sometimes I know that's all we have…these moments. Camila was ashamed as she turned her eyes towards the ground.
"Hey," Lauren lifted her face, bringing her brown orbs to meet green ones, "its fine, and thank you for tonight." She leaned in, "I love you." She whispered in her ear.
"I love you too Lauren." She whispered back, a small smile appearing on her face.
Lauren could tell Camila was remorseful and she didn't want her to feel like a terrible person because she wasn't, "don't even worry about it," her lips pulled to her green eyes into a smirk, "if anyone took any pictures of me holding you," the younger brunette pouted, still feeling sorry, "we can always claim it was a CAMREN MANIP," she winked at the younger girl causing her to laugh as the brown-eyed girl linked their arms, both sets of eyes scanning the tree once again.
***End of Flashback***
They opened the door to the back of the venue and were met with flashing lights from every direction which prompted the younger girl to stop for a second, allowing their body guards to step ahead of them in order to guide them towards their car.
"CAMILA! LAUREN! OVER HERE!" a photographer screamed as the flashing lights continued.
They continued to walk, "Camila! Lauren! Are you two together?"
Camila turned around, her brown eyes locking with green ones, almost as if allowing the younger brunette to make the decision for them. It didn't matter to Lauren whether she wanted to answer, stop for pictures, keep walking, whatever the brown-eyed girl wanted, she would do just that-ANYTHING.
I am SO in-love with this girl, the younger brunette thought as she continued to look into emerald orbs.
Camila could feel her heart swell as she steadily looked at the older brunette, her lips pulling to her green eyes and the brown-eyed girl lost all her senses, aggressively pulling Lauren's arms around her waist as she threw her own around the porcelain skin girl's neck, meshing their lips together. The younger girl not caring what anyone thought and what was sure to be on the front page of every tabloid/magazine tomorrow morning. The younger brunette's lips continued to graze that of the older brunette's, they were in their own little world, no cares, no worries, she loved Lauren and she wanted her to know that…this time would be DIFFERENT. They continued to kiss. Warm lips meshing back and forth, fitting perfectly conveying all the love they had for one another.
They slowly parted and the flashing lights seemed to increase, if that was even possible, "LAUREN! CAMILA! How long have you two been together?"
Their fingers remained intertwined as they approached the town car. Camila turned to the paparazzi and quickly winked, not giving them a verbal answer, before making her way into the car. Lauren's lips pulled to her green eyes, her attention glued on the younger girl slightly ahead of her.
"LAUREN! Are you off the market?!"
She paused by the car door, turning her head towards the paparazzis and flashed them a charming smile before getting in the car.
