Camila found herself alone on a private plane back to Los Angeles and completely overwhelmed with the emotions she had for the green-eyed girl. The petite brunette was still very much in pain over what just happened back in the hotel room and every breath she took seemed a little more desperate than the last. She's loved Lauren for most of her life; SHE was the reason the younger brunette even knew the meaning of love and knowing the older brunette felt broken, it killed her. Uncertainty filled her entirely and questions that have always lingered in the back of her head all this time began to surface, the same questions Lauren had asked.

WHEN WAS LOVE EVER ENOUGH? She asked herself the same question, Maybe it's NOT

Camila leaned her seat back, letting her body be submerged in her feelings; it was all she could do as she closed her eyes shut, tears began to form on the rim, overflowing, down her face.

***Flashback 9 Years Ago***

It had been a long day of recording and vocal lessons for the girls. Camila had been excused from the vocal lessons earlier in the day, not able to hit the notes she was suppose to. Ninety-nine times out of a hundred the brown-eyed girl would have hit those notes, but that one time out of the hundred, which happened to be today, she didn't. For some reason she couldn't hit her notes and was excused by their frustrated vocal coach. She was frustrated with herself and couldn't go to sleep. She didn't know what EXACTLY was bothering her, maybe BOTHERING wasn't the word, something preoccupied her mind and whatever, WHOEVER that was weighed heavy on her heart and it affected everything else in her life.

This ISN'T normal, the young brunette thought to herself as she paced back and forth on the balcony of Simon's Malibu beach house, I seriously need to get a hold of my feelings, are these feelings? Whatever they ARE, they need to stop; do I want them to stop? No, she just makes me feel so…so…

"Ahhh!" she breathed out towards the ocean, grabbing hold of the rail as her brown eyes stared into the black surface.

"Camz," a tired, raspy voice caught her off guard, causing her body to go frigid, "you okay? Its almost two in the morning," the older brunette approached her, placing her hands against the rail, porcelain skin slightly grazing caramel skin.

Don't look at her, DO NOT LOOK AT HER, the words echoed in her head, you might do something you can NEVER take back.

"Yeah," the brown-eyed girl keeping her gaze towards the ocean knowing if she turned to meet sparkling green eyes at 2am she might lose all inhibitions and do what she's been wanting to do, "I just sucked today," she shook her head in frustration, but that's not really what's making her uneasy.

Lauren turned her body, emerald eyes softly glaring at the side of Camila's head, observing the younger girl in front of her as she leaned her body against the rail, "even when you THINK you suck," she reached up, grazing her fingertips on smooth caramel skin before tucking a stray hair behind the smaller brunette's ear, "you're still better than most, you're amazing Camz, don't ever forget it."

Camila swallowed the nervousness in her throat, unable to respond, how does she DO that? She just knows what to say, she always makes me feel so much better with just a few words, she shook her head in disbelief, eyes still on the ocean; a cold breeze blew through, prompting the younger girl to shiver, breaking her from her thoughts.

The green-eyed girl stepped behind Camila, wrapping her arms around the younger brunette, tightening her hold. She rested her chin on the caramel beauty's shoulder, their cheeks touching. The warmth from the contact allowed the younger girl to relax, letting her body somewhat go limp into two strong arms that held onto her.

This feels SO right, being in her arms, it feels right, like I belong in her arms, she exhaled in thought.

Lauren noticed the younger brunette relax causing her to nuzzle her face against the brown-eyed beauty's cheeks, "wanna know something cool?"

The smaller brunette leaned her head back, wrapping her own arms around the older girl's "always," she said happily.

"As the earth spins on its own axis, it keeps the ocean water leveled, that's why the water remains equal around the planet, because of the Earth's gravity pull, but the moon," the taller brunette pointed at the bright moon above the sky, brown orbs following in that direction, "it has gravitational forces too," she whispered into her ear, lips lightly touching skin causing the younger brunette's heart to beat faster, "those forces are strong enough to disrupt the ocean water and that's the reason for high tides and low tides."

Camila turned around, the older brunette's arms still around her waist, her lips pulling to her flickering brown eyes as they looked deeply into bright green ones, "I love it when you tell me about the planets, the moon and the stars," she let out in a soft tone, "it's my favorite," she watched the older brunette's lips curve to a smile, "tell me," she intertwined their fingers, it just came so naturally to them, "I KNOW you, I know that's the scientific reason," the younger girl's smile plastered across her face, "what do you REALLY think causes the tides," she knew Lauren too well and the taller brunette always had a reason of her own, true or not, Camila always loved her reasons, maybe because deep down inside, she loved the green-eyed girl.

Lauren squeezed her fingers, letting her smile come through before she spoke, "I like to think that the moon loves the ocean so much," she whispered to the brunette who was held immobile by the older girl, "that no matter what, that no matter if the moon will EVER have the ocean, it'll keep trying, trying to bring the ocean to it, to the moon because it LOVES the ocean so much and that's really the reason we have tides. The moon loves the ocean so much that even if it's impossible and maybe they'll never be together, the moon will NEVER stop trying to bring the ocean to it."

WOW, the brown-eyed girl completely lost in the words that just came from the porcelain beauty in front of her, she could feel her heart pumping, trying to break free and she was going to do it, what she's been wanting to do for some time now, I LOVE HER.

"Girls!" they both jumped apart, their gazes towards the double doors, "it's late and you both have to be up early for your performance in the city," he let out in a firm tone.

"Yeah, sorry Simon, I couldn't sleep and Lauren was just coming to get me."

***End of Flashback***

"Ms. Cabello, where to?" the driver asked.

Camila shook her head, trying to regain her composure, "the cliffs, Huntington Beach." He simply nodded.

She walked down the steps letting her bare feet feel the cold sand, her brown eyes searching around her, softening as they halted at the all too familiar brunette that held her heart; she was throwing rocks into the water.

"Lo," she let out, waiting for her heart to turn around.

She slowly turned around, tilting her head as her green eyes met brown ones, "Camz, how did you-"

The younger brunette quickly closed the gap between them, not letting her finish, "I know you like the back of my hand," she let out a half smile, grabbing hold of Lauren's hands, "I would've searched all your favorite spots until I found you," the green-eyed girl's expression softened, "do you remember when we were doing that webcam interview thing, where you got all the girls to wear bows in honor of me?"

The taller brunette chuckled at the memory, nodding her head, "how could I forget, that REALLY fueled the CAMREN rumors, well they eventually weren't rumors."

"Well, I remember watching that video back and I remember the way you looked at me," she bit her bottom lip, "and it gave me butterflies and I was absolutely terrified for feeling the way I did; I figured I was crazy to feel the way I did about you and getting ridiculous butterflies from a video." She shook her head, letting out a chuckle, "you STILL give me those butterflies Lauren, even now," her lips pulled to her brown eyes, "I've only ever gotten them with you." She squeezed the older girl's hands, "I need YOU, I need you to hold my hand throughout this whole thing, I need you to stay with me even if the sky is falling because I can't do this alone," her brown eyes remained locked with shimmering green ones, "wherever THIS goes, no matter how far," she bit her bottom lip, bringing a hand up, cupping the older girl's cheek as she rubbed her thumb against fair skin, brushing the tears that slowly streamed down Lauren's face, "you will ALWAYS be the song that's WRITTEN ON MY HEART, wherever we stand, wherever we fall, it doesn't matter at all because I WILL be forever yours, wherever WE go," their tears were uncontrollable and the brown-eyed girl pulled the older brunette in her arms as she continued to cry on her shoulders, "you're my ocean Lauren," she whispered out.

Lauren pulled back, just enough so her watery eyes looked into glossy brown ones, "I love you," she confessed, "I wanna be with you, ONLY you, it'll always be YOU. I'm sorr-"

Camila placed a finger on her lips as she shook her head, "I love you," she cupped her face, "I gave my heart away when I was sixteen," she said into her lips, "you've had it ever since," the brown-eyed girl pulled Lauren in for a passionate kiss, meshing their lips eagerly together, their heartbeat's racing, absolutely consumed with their love for one another; it felt different, almost as if they found each other and in that moment, they were complete.
